I have too say, I have used many veterinarians over the many, many years that I have owned and had pets. I have nothing BUT PRAISE for Dr. Seda and her staff. Dr. Seda is a very caring, compassionate and competent veterinarian. Eastside has cared for many of the shelter animals in the area, and I have seen them over the years provide caring and very compassionate care to those animals. The staff is professional and caring. I have been to veterinarians all over the country, and I feel they are very good. I have a cat, Harry. Harry has cancer and is very sick. Dr. Seda and her staff have been providing Hospice care for him and have been realistic about his end of life options. NO OTHER vet that I have used for care for my pets has offered hospice care. This care has helped my cat,(cats do not deal with pain well) be able to spend quality end of life time with the family that loves him. I am very grateful and appreciative for them going the "extra mile" for my Harry. Thank you Dr. Seda, thank you to your staff.

I took my rat Pepper in to Dr. Seda for a tumor removal, as well as my other rat Lily for a check up. She was too scared to get Lily out of the cage, I had to get her out. After the surgery it was just horrific. They didn't even bother to shave Pepper. There was blood all over the cage, fresh blood. They used painful stables and the incision was gigantic for this tiny tumor, for this tiny rat. reaching almost the entire length of her body. And when I went in to pick up Pepper it was obvious NO ONE checked in on her. Not even when she grabbed the cage and brought her out to me. Pepper passed away two hours after getting home. I definitely call malpractice.

My grandma got our cat declawed here. I am against declawing but they did an amazing job and Jax didn't seem to be in any pain at all! They gave us pain medication that was easy to give to him and within 10 minutes of being home he was back to his playful kitten self. I probably won't ever declaw any cats I have on my own but I am so thankful for how great the staff was to my baby. :)

I absolutely LOVE the staff here, from the doctors, to the vet techs, to those that run the store in the back. Dr. Seda handles all my personal animals, as well as those belonging to the non profit reptile rescue I co-operate with my friends. She has excellent bedside manner, and makes sure all your questions are answered, sometimes even before you ask them. My friends in Salt Lake have a cat that was literally on death's door. Dr. Seda was upfront and honest about her chances, given the extreme circumstance she was faced with, and managed to save the cat's life so she could go home to the family who loves her. When I've lost personal animals, they're always there to offer their condolences, and send you a card expressing their sympathy for your loss. They really care about their clients, both the humans as well as their 10, 8, 4, 2 and no legged pets. If you want the best of the best, go to the wonderful people here at East Side!

Ive been here before in the past and never had an issue but after my last visit I'd only be back if it were specifically with Dr. Gray. There was no issue in the initial visit but a few days after going in I was looking over the medicated shampoo I had bought and noticed the sticker prescription said 16 oz. when I was only given an 8 oz. bottle of the shampoo. I called and after a brief hold was told to come in and I had the choice of switching out the bottle or being given a partial refund. When I arrived, thats not what happened. I was told they only had one size, the 8 oz., and that the price I paid, $35.13, was for the 8 oz... Every other time I've been in I've seen Dr. Gray and she goes over my options with me for the sizes and prices and goes with what works for my dog AND me. I saw Dr. Seda this time and while she was pleasant during the visit she went for the biggest, most expensive option of everything. Other than that, its kept very clean and the front girls are nice.

They are extremely expensive, and they don't know how to do stitches. my dog stitches have opened up mutiple times and they charge me a great deal for having them redone.to show the care the nurse did not know whether my dog stitches were dissolving or not which is kind of a big deal so I will not be returning to this vet I am extremely disappointed

Dr. Seda has served me both times I have had dogs in need. My golden retriever was hit by a car, and needed extensive help. She received excellent care, and quickly returned to full health. A year later, I had a black lab who needed a leg amputated, and Dr. Seda took good care of her, too. She was very careful to check for infection and to treat the minor infection that my dog had. Now both of my dogs are in very good health, and I am really grateful to Dr. Seda and Eastside Pet Clinic for it!

I called to make an appointment for one of my birds that was really sick and they said I could come immediately. They aren't my main vet but the only avian vet I could find. When I came they were so nice and tried to speed things up as best as they could. The main vet was operating on a dog and took time out to come see my bird. Sadly before they could come examine him he died in my hands. She was so nice and empathetic. She examined his body and told us the probable cause of death. She asked if I wanted him to be wrapped up and I said yes. We talked breifly about what we could do for his cagemate incase she had what he did. They didn't charge us a dime. That was about a week and a half ago and today I got a card in the mail that everyone had signed saying their regards to my loss and wishing me well. I can not believe the kindness they had shown me. There is no doubt in my mind that I'm going to this clinic again in the future. I really recommend going not only for their service but for their empathy.

This vet was fabulous! We traveled 2 hours to bring my Great Dane puppy to get his ears cropped. They took such great care of him! They were not biased, treated me with respect, and most importantly took such good care of our Bullwinkle. They observed him all day which I thought was wonderful! You can tell they care! Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I had a wonderful experience with Eastside Pet Clinic! I have a male guinea pig and finding an experienced vet to do a neuter is a must for these little guys. I was impressed that after my check in at the front desk I was put in a room where Dr. Nicole Seda-Boone did her pre-procedure exam on him in the room with me! She answered any questions I had and explained the risks and post care. She called me personally when he was done. I was so impressed to interact and speak with the vet directly throughout his care! When I picked him up the techs went over the antibiotic for him with me and noticed how difficult it would be to draw up so she added more to the vial. Such a nice touch for them to make sure I could medicate him smoothly. The pain meds were pre drawn up in syringes which was also very nice. They called to check up on him a day later as well. He is recovering well and Dr. Seda-Boone did a clean surgery on him. Excellent care and standard of service. I would highly recommend this clinic, especially if you have an "exotic" animal.

I used to go to Eastsid until an interaction with a vet (who I'm told no longer works there) was very insulting. But I'm really glad to say that I'll be transferring all my pets to their office and requesting Dr. Merchant. I had previously gone to another vet that misdiagnosed my dog. AS a result my baby suffered and when we went in this week to see Dr. Merchant he was right on and did xrays to show the true condition of our dog. Unfortunately we had to let her go. But my husband and I want to express how appreciative we are to Dr. Merchant and his staff. He was kind, understanding, sensitive to our situation and overall just showed that he truly cared. Thank you all. You made things a little easier to have to go through.

My husband and I recently bought a baby guinea pig. She was showimg signs of sickness, come to find out she had pneumonia. The doctors are very caring and loving. They understood our concerns and were gentle with our sick cavy. The next day our older guinea pig was showing signs of sickness and we took her in. Doctor was kind and understanding and was happy that we caught the sickness early. These doctors are wonderful, kins, and good hearted. And without them i dont know where our loving pets would be ❤

Wouldn't recommend! We had been going here for the past 2- 3 months. I thought they were good based on the amount of reviews they already had. After adopting our white boxer, we wanted to try to do things differently then our last boxers. So we got her teeth cleaned for several hundred dollars. She was also treated for an ear infection. A couple days after her visit, her breath smelled like death, but we were told she wouldnt need a cleaning for another year or two bc of how young she was. They said she was approximately 2 5 years old. Which was the same age as the adoption place (Snake River) said she was. She had an accident a couple months later and was taken in for a tooth exam. The vet told me that she had an ear infection and said they would need to remove a root from the old tooth. She said they could remove it for $400 but also said if they couldn't get the entire root extracted that she would have to send us to another vet with more tools. So instead of having her go through that 2x, we decided to go to Skyline Animal Clinic instead. The vet at Skyline treated her and removed several other teeth besides the one in question, said that her ear infection should have been cleaned at the previous office before giving any ear medication, said that her teeth have never been cleaned properly (hence the death breath after cleaning 2 months earlier), and lastly that she is really closer to 5 years old instead of 2.5!!!!! I will never use EASTSIDE PET CLINIC! Stay away, their doctors aren't knowledgeable and just throw medications out without any real understanding or explanation. If you want a good clinic I would recommend using someone else.

We brought our 8 month old French Bulldog puppy to Dr Merchant after having a horrible experience at a different local office. Our puppy was having a continued allergic reaction and no one was helpful until we met Dr Merchant. After assessing our puppy, he determined what was wrong, got us the proper medications, and explained to us what was happening. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, gentle, and cared about our puppy. This clinic is affordable and the whole staff was nothing but kind and caring. We will now be coming to Dr Merchant for all our Frenchie needs!

My dog, Teddy, came in after getting hit by a car. His leg was dangling like a spaghetti noodle and his prognosis wasn't great. Nevertheless, Dr. Merchant agreed to do the surgery and the subsequent care that was required for Teddy's recovery. Dr. Merchant was thorough, attentive, and he did a phenomenal job of rescuing Teddy from a very dire situation. I couldn't be happier with the treatment that Teddy received. They saved my best friend.

I took my dog there to find out why he was losing hair. I dropped my dog off and they charged me for looking at his hair follicles. Unsurprisingly they couldn't tell me what was wrong. I picked him up and paid the balance in full before I left. Then I talked to them on the phone and they said they could do lab work on his blood. I was put on hold and hung up. I never dropped my dog back off to have lab work done or blood drawn. Somehow I get a bill for lab work they did. I don't know how they could have done it because my dog never came back to see them. I asked to see the lab results and was denied. Now they are threatening to send me to collections. This place is a scam. Be very cautious when you take your pet to these folks. Not only are they clueless and offered no answers they sure know how to charge for services not rendered.

Best clinic in idaho falls! I've taken both of my dogs here for almost 4 years. My Chihuahua was sick since very young and had lots of problems but Dr Seda was very informative and helpful. One day my Chihuahua got very ill and Dr Merchant was very caring to my needs and wants for my dog. My Chihuahua had to be put down but the staff were very caring and sent me a card expressing their sympathy. Definitely recommend them to everyone for their pet needs.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE OR MIGHT AS WELL PUT THEM TO SLEEP. Had my mother bring her cat to this inhumane place for 2 weeks while helping me move. The cat was emaciated by the time she picked him up. Within 2 hours he was brought to another clinic which asked "was this our kennel?" They made sure not to place blame even when they said the cat was dehydrated but the our cat was placed on special food and within 1 week gained more than 1 pound. The condo was placed in a bag and was told that this is what they do for every cat. Well another more truthful employee later said that it was because the "smell" of the condo "bothered" other cats. The cats could be bothered by the fact that they don't get feed and watered enough. The "new" staff and kennel techniques must have been adapted from Auschwitz. And this is factual since I can show the bills that be incurred because of these evil people. (The response from the owner on another review shows how they do not believe that these things happen).

Our Dr tried to save our show rooster,Sunny ... he didn't end up making it but I was very happy with the doctor and how she treated me and our chicken. Great care. Nothing could have saved him but she did all she could. I highly suggest this clinic for avian/poultry medicine.
