Eastgate is a small clinic with dedicated staff and caring veterinarians. They are always welcoming, whether it be for simple routine procedures or those scary times you have to leave your beloved pet for a more intensive surgery. The vets are also not afraid to do more research or consult specialists if needed, which I very much appreciate. Their costs are some of the fairest in the valley, and they are not guided by money when it comes to helping your pet have the best care. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Today I took my rescue dog in to get established with Dr. Gilmore. They were able to get me in within a week on a Saturday! First good sign! What a great experience I had today. My dog was naturally very nervous and a little aggressive out of fear, but both the vet tech and the vet were really comforting and calm and were able to relax my dog a little bit. I was also expecting the recommendation for surgery for my dog's torn ligament, but Dr. Gilmore suggested more of a management plan than costly surgery! I am so happy I came in to Eastgate. They were so friendly and good with my nervous dog. I'm hoping we can make my little Violet more excited to come see all of the awesome people at Eastgate! They are also very reasonable with prices, and their email/text confirmation system is really great for us forgetful folks!

I had to take my daughters dog to EPC while I was caring for her, I called my daughter to let her know her dog was at the vet she was very worried about the cost....I was too. we were both pleasantly surprised when we got the bill! My dog tore his dew claw and I called Eastgate around 5 pm. They close at 6 but said that they would be happy to take a look at his foot. The vet technicians were extremely nice and very comforting for my dog. The veterinarian was awesome and gave me a couple of options to choose from on how to fix the dew claw. Anesthesia, treatment of the dew claw, physical inspection and nail cut was only $70. My dog was back on his feet the next day. Thanks Eastgate!

It doesn't take him long to find the problem whether it be the pet or the owner. He will tell you what it is or find out what it is that needs to be corrected. He is honest and his prices are resonable. I feel very fortunate to have located this clinic.

EXCELLENT VETERINARY SERVICE IN EVERY ASPECT After reading all reviews on Google and Yelp, I then visited each of the 4 local vet clinics in my area. I settled on Eastgate. The reviews were nearly all 5 star, and the few that were not were due to reasons other than care or costs. Eastgate is a small friendly operation compared with the other nearby clinics that had many vets and a huge staff, but that makes it hard for them to get to know your pet. I felt lost due to the size of those facilities, and thus felt quite at home in the warm and personable environment at Eastgate, a good reason for anyone to choose them. I first checked the costs for common visits: checkups, vaccines, nail clips, teeth cleaning, etc. EASTGATE services were less across the board compared to the others and a big PLUS, is this clinic does not pad bills, add extraneous costs, nor try to sell you anything, which is a big turn-off to me and mentioned by several reviewers of the other vet clinics. The front end office was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the wait for my appt was reasonable. The clinic offers many services and appointments can be booked online on their easy-to-use website. New patient records can also be filled out online. These aspects were my second reason for choosing them, so I booked an appt. After meeting the veterinarian, the experience was all I hoped it would be. Dr. Cieszynski and his vet techs are calm and not rushed, making thema pleasure to work with. Dr. C has decades of experience. I have worked as a vet tech in the past and know good practices when I see them. They also emphasize techniques from the Fear Free method of interacting with the pet patient, which was great relief for my dog who doesn't like cold exam tables and quick movements. He was able to easily receive a checkup and his vaccination updates without his typical nervousness. Overall, I highly recommend EASTGATE VET CLINIC. Check them out with a visit for yourself, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I was traveling out of state with my dog and had to put him in a doggy day care in Arizona where I think he contracted kennel cough so I called to get my dog in, which the lady told me she had an appt available. When I told her what was going on and that I wanted to get him medicine she stated that they didn't do anything for kennel cough and if he wasn't having trouble breathing that he could wait until we drove home to Washington to save me money. For whatever reason she was very adiment that my dog did not need to be seen. It's my money and If I want to spend it helping my dog whats in any business of hers!!!! I thought that's what a vet clinic is there for! Needless to say I called my vet back home and they told me there is medication and to try to get him in at another vet before he does start to have breathing issues. So I called Animal Medical Center on 5 mile road and they were more than willing to help. This place gets ZERO stars from me but I had to do 1 to write a review!!!!

Eastgate Pet Clinic is very professional and the vets have a vast wealth of experience! Another clinic wanted to run a bunch of expensive tests on our fur baby, saying they had no idea what was wrong. We tried Eastgate Pet Clinic after a friend suggested them. Eastgate vet knew exactly what needed to be done and explained everything thoroughly. Our fur baby is finally getting better and we couldn't be happier! We drive quite a ways to come to Eastgate, but it is well worth it. We are absolutely satisfied and would suggest Eastgate to anyone needing to find an awesome vet clinic.

Went to Eastgate Pet Clinic to have my puppy receive his third set of vaccinations, and the staff was really great. The staff gave him tons of treats to reward his good behavior, and even clipped his nails and gave him a "puppy treat bag" filled with food and info brochures while there. It's definitely a small vet clinic, but we had no problem getting a same-day appointment and the staff was sweet and attentive to our puppy.

Eastgate Pet Clinic & Dr. C (Cieszynski) has been our Vet & Clinic (sometimes seeing Dr. Gilmore) since moving to Idaho, in 2003. I brought Buddy on the plane with me, when we came; he was down in the undercarriage with the luggage; he was sedated, But Not Happy There!! I cannot remember How we chose Eastgate - But we ARE SO Fortunate That We Did!! Buddy was 12 yrs. old & Dr. C & the staff were Always SO GOOD with him; however, that did not prevent him from shaking his bones, even as we left our house to go to the Vet; because somehow, he knew where we were going!! They have always been competitive with their prices & have written RX'S for the dog, even though we may not have purchased the script from them. In mid-December 2014, we needed to put Buddy to sleep; we have only had to do that, one other time, in California & it near killed us then, also! Dr. C. & his staff, Really Were & Are Superior in their Help & Advise - The Way They Handled The Entire "Ordeal" for us! We cannot say enough About HOW They Helped Us Through That Time; the week following the euthanasia, we received the Most Beautiful Card in the Mail, from Dr. C & the Clinic; we cried when we saw the card & read the inscription; It was a photo like Card, Not Glossy, but More Real!! It Was Our Buddy or easily could have been Him; Black Lab Mix, with his Beautiful Amber Eyes, We Cried & Cried Some More!! I Framed IT, It Was So Wonderful & REAL!! This Clinic with Dr. C. & Dr. Gilmore, Are Extremely Caring & Feeling With You; they handled the cremation & documents - All that has to be done, which made it so much EASIER for us! Our youngest son, lives very close to us; he & His family have multiple dogs & Had Several Bad Experiences with other clinics. They felt continually, that they were Over Charged, Etc. & Really Started Looking for Another Place to take their animals!! So Dad/Grandpa Told Them "To Look No Further, Than Eastgate Pet Clinic!!" - - So They Didn't & Now they are Enjoying The Doctors & Staff At Eastgate Clinic, Also! IF YOU HAVE HAD PROBLEMS With Finding A Vet You Like & A Clinic You'd Like - Get Yourself Over To Eastgate Mall on Boise Ave. & Apple St. & You Will Be In For A Real Treat - Dr. C. is "Dr. Cieszynski," & Dr. Gilmore - Well, is Dr. Gilmore!! We have A Brand New Dog Now; we got him at the West Valley Humane Society & He Is A Gem!! We didn't wait To Long, after Buddy passed - it could have been two Months?? He is smaller, than Buddy, BUT that is because, Dr. C. told us, that he is Border Collie & Lab; if there could be A Better, Smarter Dog than Buddy - It is our new Doggie - Black Pepper! The receptions lack of personality 101 here in town made it and easy deciding my cat would obtain every single bit of care needed for her issue which was an odd one. They were upfront in telling me the check up would be 51.00 and anything needed would be priced before hand so I could decide further course. Here in my town I was told it differs, 90-140. Walk in is in addition, next day not possible looks like a week even one that said I had asked for food donations for my dog! Really!We all know our medical insurance is good but our pets are costly. No one can deny that. But here, receptions were so welcomed. They talked to my cat in low soft tones telling her it will be okay while they had hard time drawing blood because she needed hydration. The costs were extremely low for all the test we were running and even home items I needed from her samples were provided with great instruction s. Results will be in tomorrow.as simple as one day! Instead of , we will let you know...which is several days or let us house your animal til then racking up more fake charges. We had 3 people helping with kind words. My cat barely moved even though she needed a few sticks. I wouldn’t have been able to watch my cat suffer with harsh hold down or less that decent emotion. The doctor was so inviting with his questions and answers. I left with more that fair pricing anywhere at all. Because they are lower priced ,it does not discount 1ounce of respect and care. Mine is 12 you and I had one in my town say..if people cant afford their vet bills adopt them out to someone who can. Seriously this is the world we live in. I used to take in mastiffs I rescued some I even paid for. The cost of food and hip issues make these gentle giants costly. Never once did I put the person down and if I needed to raise some money for person to keep theirs I would have! I rescued 48in one year all different owners. Some people have hearts and this clinic is OUTSTANDING so thank you all.
