I've had some great vets, but Cottonwood is the best! They helped me troubleshoot an issue my dog had for a long time when other vets hadn't yet found the answer. I feel like they have a perfect balance between affordable and high-quality care. When I had to take one dog for repeated follow-up exams, they only charged me for the first exam. I have two high energy hunting dogs, and I'm so impressed with the staff's ability to handle them!

We were not satisfied with the service we received - the pricing is higher than the other vets here in town, they didn't explain our cat's condition properly or why he needed a certain medication, and the reception staff are incredibly rude and treat their patents' families like they are a burden.

This vets office killed my rabbit. We brought him here in perfect health. Bandit would lick my feet every morning and jump on our beds to wake us up. Bandit was only one year old . He was the most playful pet a person could ask for. When he began to itch his ears more than Normal I googled why that might happen. The most common response was ear mites. I did a plethora of reaserch and decided the best dicision would be to take him to the vet that I assumed would be an expert on the subject. This was the biggest mistake I have ever made. A perfectly heathy one year old bunny dies in my arms in front of my 7 year old and my parents visiting from Montana. We were all very attached to this bunny that was a very big part of our family. this has been more traumatic for us than i can put into words. Our bunny died the same day this man treated him. Please do not trust him with your pets that you consider family. He could care less and just wants your money . We are completely devastated. Have you ever had family die in your arm? Tonight I experienced just that. I emplore you to take your beloved animals elsewhere. My 7 year old called bandit his brother and just watched him die in my arms. All because this man has zero business with your small pets. I'm in total shock how something like this could ever happen. Please do not give this place your business and money . Please heed my warning. The only reason I put one star is because that is the minimum required to write a review . I'm in total shock and disbelief . This truly feels like a bad dream. You better believe any recourse I can take I most certainly will. This vet office just killed a part of our family!!!!

We were super impressed by the vet. The staff was nice too. The c-section was done very well, the stitches were perfect. The 2 mouse sized puppies I was afraid would be dead on arrival because of the long time breach labor. They were born lifeless but they got them going again. The vet acted like he cared and that is important. The last dog I had surgery (in a different place), died during surgery so I was super worried. Thank you!

Unfortunately, we had a negative experience at Cottonwood. We boarded our dogs there this past weekend. We were excited for inexpensive boarding, but we learned our lesson: you get what you pay for. We received a voicemail on Monday morning that we needed to pick up the dogs as quickly as possible, as they were barking loudly and being disruptive and no one could get any work done. Since we had traveled home early that morning, we had slept in a little. The next voicemail was just dogs barking. (Highly unprofessional.) When we got there, there were ZERO cars in the parking lot and NO BARKING. Not even when our dogs heard us talking.....It was very sad that the staff didn't understand the nature of dogs. They had been alone most of the day Sunday, so of course, when people and other animals showed up, they barked. Then they acclimated and were quiet. It was frustrating to be treated like our dogs were such a burden. Then, when we took our dogs home, we found that they required grooming, since they had been laying in their own urine all weekend. Their joints were rubbed raw from laying on the hard floor, despite us being told they would put a blanket in there for them. I am very displeased with the lack of care for our dogs. If they were not able to handle our dogs, I wish they would have just told us from the get-go. Our interactions were limited to one vet tech/receptionist, so I can't speak for the vets and other techs, but we will not return and we recommend others avoid it as well.
