We were lucky to have chosen Community Animal Hospital since moving to Easton 13 years ago. It would not be possible to find a better facility anywhere. The reception staff is friendly and always helpful with any questions we may have. I cannot say enough as far as the doctors are concerned, they have always been there for our little dogs anytime day or night. It gives us peace of mind knowing we are able to reach a doctor on weekends & holidays. Our little Pom , Duet, loves Dr. Chad and he has kept her healthy for the 6 years since we rescued her when she was 10. We could not be happier with the service we receive at Community Animal Hospital and we recommend it highly.

Cleo and her family nominate Dr. Alpert “hero to all things furry and feathered”. Thank you for all you have done.

My dog loves to go see the "girls" at CAH. They are so nice to him, even if he is a 100lb hyper puppy. I really trust CAH. The prices are more than fair.

sunni millen-larose

Dr. Alpert has a personality better suited for research. Although she is a skilled Vet, she has no people skills. Money seems to be her only motivation to talk to humans...

Mallory N

We have had a great experience with Dr. Alpert and her staff. They have provided great care for our two kitties! They have answered our questions and quelled fears. I recommend them to others for their high quality care.

Worst place ever !! I wouldn’t even have my enemies dog put down there !! Terrible with animals

Laura Northrop

Our family and pets LOVE Community Animal Hospital! From the office staff and techs to all of the docs. It is such a comfort to know that we can see any of the Vets and feel completely confident and comfortable that we are receiving great and up to date care for our beloved animals! These people are the most knowledgeable, compassionate, sympathetic and caring individuals you could ever have in your pet's lives! We have received caring check up calls, cards and caring all through our pet's lives from beginning to end. We HIGHLY recommend this practice!

When I moved to the Eastern shore from the Annapolis area eight years ago, I will admit, I was afraid it might be difficult to find a veterinarian that could provide the level of care for my pets I'd grown accustomed to. I'm happy to say that I could not have been more mistaken. The veterinarians at Community Animal Hospital offer a truly outstanding level of care, knowledge, skills, and empathy. They have saved several of my dogs' lives with early diagnosis and effective treatment of medical problems, and by going above and beyond the call of duty by providing after-hours care for my dogs. And don't even get me started on the fact that they have a doctor on call at all times! I have called on a Sunday after my dog ate something questionable and was talking to one of their reassuring veterinarians within five minutes. Amazing. I mean, who does that these days? Community Animal Hospital, that's who. I happily drive half an hour out of my way to take my pups here; they are absolutely worth the trip. If you are looking for an animal hospital that offers superior, modern care and old-fashioned warmth and caring, this is the place for you. (I hope they like me, too, because they are good and stuck with me as a client, heh!) 8/5/15 Update: I wrote this review three years ago and I feel the same way about Community Animal Hospital now. Since writing this review, the wonderful CAH vets have continued to guide and nurse my pups through cancer, kidney disease, knee surgery, allergies, and (thankfully) wellness with compassion and skill. I'd also like to add that as a doting and devoted dog-mom, I really love how the techs treat my "kids". They're always happy to see them, eager to greet and pet them, and restrain them gently and safely for necessary treatments and tests, etc. You can always count on a friendly greeting from the front desk, too. Just all around, a great team.

We have been taking out animals to Community Vet for 15 years. They have always treated us and our pets as family. The doctors have always guided us to the best care for our pets and provided them with the best care.

Jean McDermott

I took my little Dixie in for her annual "well baby" checkup and found the staff to be very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I recommend them without reservation

Caring professionals.

We have known Dr. Alpert for over ten years now. She was the veterinarian we brought our pup to from day one. Over the years we’ve had several health scares with our dog and she and her staff have always been amazing to work with. They are so compassionate and truly loved our dog. This past week we had to say goodbye to our sweet 10 year old dog. In the process of her deteriorating health, Dr. Alpert was truly wonderful to both us and our sick pup. When it was finally time to say goodbye we had Dr. Alpert make a house call so that we could spend our final moments together as a family. She made everything so peaceful and memorable for us and our young children and for that we will be forever grateful. We wouldn’t go to any other veterinarian, this clinic and staff are wonderful.

Connie Loveland

We have had many occasions to visit CAH - regular appointments and emergencies and have always received kind, courteous and professional veterinary care for our collection of cats and dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Kasey Wozniak

Everyone there has been nothing but great and friendly every time I have been there. They work well with my shy dog and feisty kitty. I also appreciate that they are AAHA accredited. Great dog classes too

Hayley Harrington

I have absolutely loved this vet clinic. They have been amazing with all three of my dogs. We have totally different dogs from a small shitzu to a large German Sheppard and I've been impressed with it all. Their grooming is amazing as well! I'm a total dog mom and I have trust this vet completely.

I love Dr Alpert and her amazing staff. They go far beyond just treating your beloved family member. She and her staff really love and care about their patients. They keep you up to date on appointments and services you and your baby might like.A huge 5 Star rating for this wonderful hospital. Dr Alpert is very experienced taking care of your babies. This Animal Hospital is top notch.

Bill Fix

Some times the truth is hard to hear. Sometimes there are no cures. This was true for me and my dog. I had to have a second opinion, because letting go is hard. The staff is caring, and honest .

Katie Taylor

There are not enough words to express how great this place truly is. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and they all go to Community. They are quick to get me in when I have an emergency while providing the utmost care to my furkids. The whole crew is very kind and you can tell they all love their jobs. Dr. Alpert is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They truly are an amazing veterinarian clinic.

We have been with Dr. Chad for quite a few years now. He is like famiily to us and our furry babies because of his friendly and caring attitude as well as his outstanding medical care and knowledge. He has taken care of our beloved Jesse (golden retriever), our Bo (yellow lab) and now our rescue of one year, Toby. We have total faith and trust in him as well as all of the Doctors and staff at Community Animal Hospital.

Brooke Forney

We took our dog Toby to Community Animal Hospital. Toby was acting weird and had some seizure like activities, the employees at the vet where very kind, helpful and professional. They knew what they were doing. They got us into an examination room in a timely manner. The Doctor was very nice and showed a professional concern as to what could be going on with our dog. Overall my experience of Community Animal Hospital was fantastic. I will continue to go back for all my pet's needs.

Amie Denayer

I am always amazed at the love, care, and concern the team at Community Animal Provides. So thankful.

Stacey Hofmann

A professional, caring animal hospital that has treated my dogs for more than 17 years from puppyhood to well care to illnesses to crossing over the rainbow bridge. They have always been extremely knowledgeable, take the time to explain treatment protocol, and treat our family and animals with respect and dignity in those hard times.

Debbie Huber

I spent many years trying to find the right veterinarian and now that I've found Community Animal Hospital, I will never leave. The people there (doctors, office staff, techs, everybody) treat me and my animals as if we are family. I take my 2 dogs and 2 cats (plus several rats) to them and have never had a bad experience. They take care of their health, grooming, puppy classes and socialization, and anything else I need. They have it all. And whenever I have a decision to make regarding health services, I never feel pressured. I'm just given the information and they answer all of my questions in order to make the best decision for my animals. The people there have become more like friends and family to me and my animals!

Andie Gines

Took my two little kitties in to get neutered. They were super friendly, made appointments for the same week, and have the best prices around for cat neutering! Just got my babies back, and they are great! Their incisions are the cleanest and most careful I've ever seen, and my cats are feeling better than I've ever seen after their treatment. I have great faith in their work and trust my kitties lives with them!

Tara L

Ryan Moody

The vet was awful she was rough with my dog. And when my dog yelped and tried to get away she told me I need to socialize her and I had better do it soon because soon she wouldn't be able to be socialised. My dog loves everyone and will lick you she has no manners but she is not agressive as the vet had said.

Mindy Northup

Jenny Capell

The dr and technicians was very rude, and treated my dog horribly. I took him in to get a shot and she told me to get out of the room. When I went into the lobby I heard her screaming and swearing at my dog for no reason. When I told her I was frustrated with how she treated him she told me that if I had a problem with how she does anything then she will fax my dogs information to another vet and to get out. This was so unprofessional and I recommend nobody to take their animals here.

Kathy Pearson

Michael Wood

Fine Doctors that really care about your animal. They also have great hours and quick prescription pick up.

Kim Stewart

not loyal to the patients

Holli Harnsberger

If I could give CAH more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. I would recommend this vet office to anybody who is in need of a good vet, a safe place to board their pets, or a great place to get your pet groomed or given a 5 star spa treatment! I have 3 animals and every time I go in there, they know exactly who I am and they know each of my animals. (And I only go in for routine visits, it's not like we are there all the time!) Dr. Alpert is a very great vet who genuinely cares about not only the patients, but their owners as well. She makes sure that I understand the reasons behind procedures and she does a nice job with handling my animals so that they are at ease so that I don't worry while they are getting examined (I have an antsy kitty that doesn't do well with shots or pills). I have worked with several of the staff as well. Brandie, Sara, Summer, and Colleen are all very friendly and make me feel welcome whenever I walk in the door. One of the best things about CAH is the fact that they are very flexible with scheduling. I work crazy hours and am always able to get an appointment that works for me. I don't have to change my work hours for vet appointments, and I can typically get in on short notice when I need to as well. I can't say enough good about this place. I always know that my pets are in good hands when they are there.

Branzell Porchia

I took my older dog took her back and said they would come the to get a torn nail clipped, they took her back and said they would come back to tell me if she just needed a nail trim or somethings. After waiting, five minutes, I hear these horrible screams from my dog (who never barks) she was crying and it so awful to hear. They brought her out to me and said she had been really "dramatic" when they had to take her nail off. I did not appreciate the unprofessionalism of them calling my dog "dramatic" while she was just expressing pain. People that take care of animals should know better than anyone that animals are family to many of us. I wouldn't send my grandma to the back room, to have a procedure done, without wanting to be there to support her and help her through a painful procedure.

Chalea Cox

Dr Alpert and the girls are amazing! I've been taking my cats there for quite a while. Everyone is always kind and helpful. They truly care about the animals where I feel some vets just care about the cash. Will never stop taking my babies there.

Graeme Hemphill-Hart

CVT friend of mine gave this place a two thumbs up when I told her what kind of care they gave my kitty. In terms of surgical practice and in terms of medicines prescribed they aren't cutting corners or taking risks. Payment plan with my pet insurance very reasonable as well. Preferred vet care for the area.

Rebecca Russ

Great doctor!

Wendy Sundquist

We have been going to Community Animal Hospital since we arrived to the eastern shore 15 years ago. They are kind and most professional with very sound advice from routine health care to complicated medical issues to palliative/comfort care. When we needed emergency services in the middle of the night Community Animal Hospital staff were there for us and our beloved animals. From the veterinarians to the vet techs to the office staff we are most grateful for their services as well as their warmth and compassion. We would recommend Community Animal Hospital to anyone who needs professional care the for the pets they love and cherish. Very sincerely, Wendy Sundquist and Tris Procopio

Dr. Hutchinson is absolutely the best. Goes above and beyond to help. Gives accurate information and just cares well for all types of animals and pets

Lynda Pennell

Great place to work.

robert murphy

The doctor and staff was very compassionate when we had to put down our 13 year-old Lab, a therapy dog and hunting partner for many years.

Jane Maravilla

I liked their service and how well they treated Willy Nelson, my Husbands and I's little dog.

The gaming Sibs

Dr. Owen took time after hours to give me great advice on my German Shephard. Very helpful.

Josie Garcia

The Doctor was so great with my old kitty, she was so kind and even clipped his nails! Paid a little more than 100 for my sweet boy to be all better, seems like decwnt prices! Great gals and everyone I met was so nice.

Jerod Thompson

We have three dogs.. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Unless you want gold floors with a salesman trying to sell you. This place is truly the best!

Adrienne Kezirian

Excellent care and services! Dr. Engvalson and Dr. Alpert are both very professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to caring for pets. The staff is always friendly and helpful during stressful visits. I can't say enough good things about Community Animal Hospital!

John L. Davis

There is not enough space in this review to list all the good things about Community Animal Hospital and the staff. Awesome is the first word that comes to mind. Dr Chad and the other staff have helped ups in the best of times and in tragic times. Each visit is a comfortable and uplifting experience. They are great to us. Thank you to all.

Michael loftus

I've been using CAH for over 15 years. They're compassionate, knowledgeable and family. They'll take care of your fur baby.

David Smith

After visiting several local Veterinary Hospitals we chose Community. We have been bringing our two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers to see Dr. Joe and Dr. Chad for the past 4 years. They know the breed and our Chessies are quickly put at ease with their friendly front desk crew and experienced technicians. After a through interview and examination they diagnose the problem and prescribed the cure. One of the staff is always available for emergencies. Flexible appointments to meet my schedule. This is an experienced, talented, and friendly crew.

Great with cats and dogs

Hanna Geshelin

My dog and cat receive excellent care here. All the staff relate well both to pets and to owners, and I appreciate Dr. Alpert's calm, thoughtful personality. She's given me good advice when I've had to call her frantically in the middle of the night (like when the dog got into a sack of chocolate). I also very much appreciate that there's never pressure to purchase pet food or other things from the clinic--although they have food, treats, supplements, and other things available at competitive prices if I ask. (Got a cat hair problem? They recommended a tool that REALLY helps!)

Pat Hinkel

Our Springer Spaniels have seen all the Doctors at Community Animal Hospital over the past ten years and we could not be more pleased with the care and attention of not only the Doctors but the entire staff. Be it routine questions or emergency care, during office hours or late at night or the weekend, we know they are available. Dr Donna was most compassionate when we lost our Max to cancer. Dr Chad has done several surgeries on Hershey and I feel that he takes care of Hershey as if he was his own. We are most fortunate to have such a caring team for our vet care!

Trisha Jacobsen

They are great people and have treated my mini schnauzer with nothing but love and the upmost quality of care

Wasan Alqaraini

Great place !!! Saved my puppy life after he was in really bad shape of other veterinarian mistake when he had his spay surgery. Very greatfull and they were so nice and helpful

I can't say enough good thinks about Community Animal Hospital. My dogs are like my children, and there is no one I would entrust them to other than the vets at Community Animal Hospital. Not only have they provided routine care for generations of my dogs, but they literally saved the life of my golden retriever Charlie a couple of years ago when he needed immediate intervention for a life threatening condition over a weekend. Charlie is now almost 14 years old, and still going strong. Simply the best!

Elizabeth Bell

We have been bringing our pack of dogs to Community for many years. They know our pets well and know me by name as soon as I walk in the door :) Dr. Chad is and amazing vet and very patient with all my questions, I never feel rushed and I trust him completely. All my dogs love him too! :)

Cyndi Carpenter

Bre Lum

I was very disappointed by my experience here. The vet that worked with my cat was very condescending with giving me advice. And the advice she gave me was terrible. She told me to put a litter box in my bedroom next to the bed, and I was 7 months pregnant! ICK!

Jenna Abbott

I tried a lot of vets over the years in Pocatello, but Community Animal Hospital was the one that stuck. In fact, I wish I had found them sooner! Even when I moved to Idaho Falls and had a vet down the street, I'd still pack up the boys and take them to CAH. Dr. Alpert and the staff are always welcoming and friendly, I feel like their pricing is very fair and they always do what's best for your pet. They really do care about you and your pet. I've since moved away from Idaho and CAH is definitely one of the things I still miss!

KC C

I love them, they are so great. My kitty is not the best behaved kitty at the vet and they take their time with her.

Margaret Nock

I can't say enough good things about the staff and vets. We have received excellent care, advice, information and compassion over the 4 yrs that we've been in the area. We have lived and traveled quite a bit and have always had small dogs or cats and I can honestly say that this is one of the best all round vet clinics that I've been to. They respond to emergencies during the night or on weekends and encourage you to call if you have any questions or concerns. They also have a reptile specialist on staff, as well as a wonderful pet cremation service if ever needed. I highly recommend them.

karena colombo

The most caring professional veterinarians & staff. I could never entrust my kids with anyone other than Community Animal Hospital.

J.C. Feil

Ever since the first day we picked up our "Maggie The Cat" over eleven years ago from Talbot Humane we have been utilizing the services of Community Animal Hospital. The veterinarians, technicians, and staff are all excellent and so very helpful no matter what happens or at what hour. The experience, kindness, and caring for the animal (and its owners) is what sets CAH apart. I personally want to single out Dr. Donna Nizolek who has been the primary in taking care of our feline. She is calm, measured, and extremely knowledgeable and exudes confidence. I have been fortunate to have had two amazing vets in my lifetime (one in the 80's) and Donna is the second. I trust her implicitly. And, once again, thanks to all the staff for the outstanding level of care. It is much appreciated. Sincerely, J.C. Feil

We love Community Animal Hospital. Our vet is wonderful to our pup. We adopted him through the Idaho Falls Shelter and were reffered to CAH as their Pocatello partner. We are so grateful for their expertise and honesty. We need that as first-time dog owners. We recommend CAH and wouldn't take our dog anywhere else.

A Dr from this office was on call Friday morning and answered the emergency line when I called my Vet's (Alta) number. I proceeded to explain that my 6 1/2 month old German Shepherd had a fever of 106 degrees that was NOT coming down despite our efforts to cool him. I tell the Dr that he is dying and screaming and I need him to be seen so that we could at least end his pain and suffering. I was told more than once that Alta would be opening in about 20 minutes and asked could it wait till they opened?!?! I couldn't believe that someone who is supposed to help an animal no matter what would give that type of response to my situation!!! He had to end up being driven from Old Town to Alameda where his temp went from 106 to 107.3 and had to be put down! Yes...we knew that he was most likely too far gone before I actually put him in the car...but that is not the point...the Dr from this office should be totally ashamed of herself!! She should NEVER be the Dr on call for Emergencies if she doesn't care about someone's pet!!!

Tori Daw

My dog left there with burst blood vessels in his eye, rug burn on his chin from being muzzled as well as a bleeding tongue. Maybe you should respect pet owners when they tell you to let them help you with their pet. I shouldn't leave a vet clinic bawling because of how my pet was treated.

Sharon Dobson

i have been dealing with Community Animal Hospital since 1998. If my 4 legged friends could talk they would say that they are the best in the state. I have been one of those fortunate or unfortunate pet owners that seems to fall in love with problem pets for many of those years. Problems as in allergies, diabetes, arthritis. Drs. Joe and Donna and their team have been terrific in the care and followup of their patients (my pets). We live a good 35 to 40 minutes from their office and it does not occur to me to go anywhere else for the care of my best friends. they deserve the best.

Karen Abbott

Dr Alpert and her staff are professional and friendly...I have never experienced anything else. Dr Alpert is both compassionate and upfront with pet care and treatment. She never gave us false hope--but she did give us true hope--when our elderly Schnauzer experienced multiple seizures in the span of a few hours. She gave us the best care and he is going like gangbusters again.

Debra Davis-Johnson

Great professional care and staff are so kind and attentive. My dogs loved the experience-thank you:)

Sherry Elder

At Community Animal Hospital our animals are more then pets, they are family. I first discovered Community Animal Hospital when my 16 year old cat's kidneys started to fail him. They were so compassionate in our journey through his dialysis treatment, and gave me all of the facts and information our family needed without sugar coating the inevitable. When it came time for him to cross the rainbow bridge they gave the situation the amount of respect you would expect for the human equivalent. I have since adopted two cats and would not trust them anywhere else. They are always willing to answer questions, even over the phone, and listen to my concerns fully. The staff are the mostly friendly and compassionate people I have ever met, their full concern is the health and safety of the animals that are brought in. Also they are the only AAHA-accredited office in town, which means they are evaluated on 900 standards of veterinary excellence. Veterinarian practices are not required to be certified like a human doctor, however they have gone above and beyond to hold this accreditation consistently since 1979. I would not trust anyone else with my fur babies, and I encourage you to connect with them and get your fur baby the service and dedication they deserve!

Crystal Thomas

I've been bringing my pets here ever since we moved to Easton. Even though there are several vets, I never feel like it's too big. They know and work with my dogs' quirks. They've been through the deaths of two of my boys with me-they care. The 24 hr emergency care is also a *huge* plus in my mind.

Aki

Great staff! I took my cat in to Community for his check up and shots. Dr. Alpert was not only very nice but she was also very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns quickly and efficiently, getting my cat and I in and out so it was very easy on him. The facilities are really nice and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable, everyone was really friendly. We'll definitely be going back!

James Dean

I was on the phone with Dr. Alpert before coming to the clinic for my dog to be checked. When I told her on the phone I needed to check my financial situation first, she tells me in a rude tone, uhhh I'm a little concerned your dog might die... that was the first red flag, but I decided to give her another chance. Went down to the office and was willing to pay the emergency service fee and when I got in the room with her she was very rude, talked down to me like I was nothing! Just because my dog was in labor with her first litter and it was a total accident, I am still a paying customer and deserve to be treated fairly! She tries to tell me she just cares for your pet but I'm sorry I'm the one paying you! I told her she was being very rude, and that I didn't like how she was treating me, she pointed to the door and told me to leave if I didn't like it. So I said ok bye! she says she is the on call vet for 4 hospitals here in town the 2 she isn't are Hawthorne, and Bannock so I went to Bannock got excellent service. The vet there is very nice! Treated my dog very good! I will definitely go back to Bannock Animal Hospital! But never again will I go to Pocatello Community Animal Hospital!

Kristi Olson

I have an old dog that suffers terribly from arthritis - He was at the point I thought I would have to put him down. But through the Doc's recommendation of laser treatment - glucosamine and pain management he was walking the ridge line with me with in a few weeks. In my mind it was truly a miracle Now if only I could keep him from over doing it and flaring up old injuries all will be good -

Jane McCauley

My two dogs have been cared for by the wonderful vets at Community Animal Hospital since they were 3 months old. They are now 11, so I have worked with these vets for quite awhile. In my experience each one of the doctors is kind, gentle and very competent. One of my dogs has Addison's Disease and is hypothyroid: she gets an injection monthly and takes medication daily. She is being well taken care of, and the clinic --including the friendly, helpful women on the front desk-- is very responsive whenever I have a concern about the dog. The other dog, sister of the first one described, is currently having severe difficulty with her hind legs supporting her. I feel like the vet working with her considers my observations and suggestions about her and her treatment fully. We are a team working to help this dog regain the use of her hind legs. I would rate this practice an A+

Standard Nerd

They do a good job, but I feel like they up sell services that may not really be needed and I would recommend getting your prescriptions elsewhere because you can get them much cheaper.

Donna Graziano

Always attentive and caring. We've been taking our dogs there for 15 years. All the Dr's are fantastic but we especially love Dr. Chad.

shana Morgan

We have been using this vet for about 3 years and honestly I have been happier with their service then any other vet. Dr Donna and Dr Joe are great. The cost is very good compared to other vets and they do not push unneeded services just to make a buck..my favorite part is the nurse visit boosters. No office fee and in and out in under 5 mins.

Dave Vann

This, I believe, is the second review I've posted. I lost Fred last Thanksgiving and Chad and the folks at Community were just great. This week Harley had to have surgery, actually three procedures, all done at the same time. Chad, again was doing all three and the folks at Community had given me a low and high price range depending on how things went. At 1PM Chad called to say that everything had gone smoothly but because Harley was so groggy he really wanted to keep her overnight to make sure she went through recovery okay. Oh oh, there goes the budget, but when it's your constant companion you know you'll find a way. So this morning I go to pick her up and ask what the damage is --- and they all most had to get a chair for me, it was less than the LOW estimate I'd been quoted! The owners, Joe & Donna, have put together not only a successful business plan but they've managed to combine it with some of the finest vets I've ever run across at the most reasonable prices I've ever seen. A final word about service. When your dog is sick at 1AM the last thing you want to hear is "our normal business hours are.....". Not at Community Animal Hospital. No matter what time, day, night or holiday, if it's an emergency someone will be available for you.

Laura Sb

The vet, Julia Alpert, was quite condescending every time I asked a question. I misspoke and asked when my cat could be spaded and then corrected myself because it is a boy I changed it to neutered. She made a point of correcting me as if I hadn't spoken and then decided to reply. This is only one example of her condescending attitude. I am highly educated too but I don't speak to people the way she spoke to me. We will not be going back. Her assistant Summer was great and so was the front desk staff, not really a receptionist. This was for my son's cat and they did treat the call well. However, you need to learn that the cat has a owner and you do not need to talk down to them. They are the ones who have the actual money to pay you. Maybe you should try to remember that if you want repeat customers. I would not recommend this vet to anyone and will warn others to not go here unless they want to be treated poorly.

Ethel Pew

Wonderful office staff and technicians, they go above and beyond to help you out. Having seen all of the vets at one time or another I can say they are all great! They listen to your concerns and provide a wealth of knowledge to treat their patients. You know just how much they care when you receive a followup call to see how your pet is doing after they have seen the vet for an illness. When you have an emergency it is great to be able to take your pet to see their regular vet instead of someone that does not know your pet and its health issues.

Jessie Burneston

Friendly and courteous staff. Knowledgeable doctors and techs.

Dear Dr. Chad Hutchison, Thank you for the years you took care of our beloved Shane. His special needs were met with such expertise and compassion. Our Bailey gets so excited when it comes time for his visits. He loves to visit with all of your staff. We highly recommend your Community Animal Hospital to all animal owners. .

Chelsey Williams

Both doctors are absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else!

Janica Supino

Very friendly and nice my cats first visit to the vet she was nervous but after it she was fine very gentle with my animal love them

gay reynolds

I love these people, they helped so much with my Rottie Gracie when she was so sick and directed us to the specialists. And when poor old Buck got hit by the train and had to be put down, they were very compassionate and concerned with his comfort as well as our anguish. They are always willing to work with us and get us in when we have an emergency. Highly recommend these folks for your furry kids.

Michael StLaurent

Caring, clean and reasonably priced. I've been going here for approximately the last 4 years and I recommend them highly.

I have been a client for 20 years and highly recommend this hospital. Dr. Donna is compassionate and knowledgeable; exactly what I think is important in a veterinarian. All of the doctors and staff care very much about their clients. Doctors are on-call if you need them and they work closely with speciality veterinarians when necessary. I couldn't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else!

This hospital by far has the very best staff, experienced, caring doctors that we have ever taken our animals to. We have 3 cats , 1 dog and 6 pet rats. It was hard for us to find an experienced doctor that was knowledgeable about rats. We hit the jackpot. We came across Dr. MICHAEL OWENS who specializes in small pets. We love our rats. They are great pets but frequently have issues with tumors and a number of other issues. We have taken them to our regular vet but she she had little experience with rats and the other vet we took them to treated them like they had the plague. We had to take one to an emergency hospital for respiratory issues and end up paying over 1000 just to end up having her put to sleep. Not the Community animal Hospital of Easton. They have on call doctors who got out of bed twice at 4 a.m. to stop one of my rats bleeding from ripping out stitches. Twice. The amazing part of it was that we were charged only 150.00. Dr. Owens and the other Doctors treated our rats with love, respect and care that any animal owner wants their pets to have. Never did they make us feel like " they are just rats". Their prices are beyond reasonable which is rare for veterinary care. . If you love your pets, take them to this hospital. I guarantee that you'll never want to go anywhere else.

I love this clinic! These guys won us over when we had an emergency after hours cat visit that resulted in the unfortunate loss of the cat. Though they didn't know us, we received a very kind handwritten condolence card that immediately won us over. They have since helped us through cancer with two other dogs and I have never met a team more dedicated and caring. Dr. Alpert is the only vet I've had who truly seemed to care and offered comfort to me when we recently lost our Boxer and that, if nothing else has won our family over as life long patrons. Everyone in this office shows care and compassion and love for animals - they know all of their names and personalities like they are their own family.

Wonderful vets and care

Compassionate professional care, with veternarians that balance common sense with a strong foundation in evidence-based care. My pets have been patients of this practice for over 25 years and I have nothing but the highest regard for this team of doctors, technicians, and front desk personnel. They listen to, and are responsive to, your concerns. Although we feel comfortable having any of the doctors see any one of animals, Dr. Donna will always hold a special place in my heart. She spent a long night and day on the phone with me, calmly talking me through delivering 5 of 10 puppies at home. This turned into another long night as she and Dr. Joe performed a Caesarian delivery of the remaining 5 puppies. Thanks to the two of them, we had a litter of beautiful and healthy puppies!

Dr Alpert was absolutely amazing with my service dog. She saw that my dog was nervous and she took her time with her. Talked to her very gently. Dr Alpert also complimented me about how well her teeth looked and also brought up in a very nice way to me how my dog should loose a few lbs. But in a way I was never offended or felt like a dummy. This place is amazing and the whole staff was friendly and answered any questions I had.. very knowledgeable too on heart worm stuff flea and tick stuff and joint therapy

Community Animal Hospital has been taking care of my dogs for 25 years. They've treated everything from cuts and puncture wounds to ear infections, orthopedic issues and even cancer. As a law enforcement K-9 handler for over 20 years, I wanted the best care possible to ensure that my K-9 partners were ready for service. The vets at Community treated every one of my dogs professionally and with great compassion. I would not go anywhere else.

A fantastic vet! So pleasant and payments are so manageable even on a fixed income.

I was able to be seen right away when my dog was having an allergic reaction. The assistant was very thorough and gentle. I have a very shy dog and he responded well to the Dr., she was very calm and thorough as well. She had us in and out in a very timely fashion and I felt like we got great service!

My dog got in the garbage and ate a prk chop bone. It got stuck in his esophagus. Dr. Alpert did surgery right away and got it out. She and her staff were amazing! They were so caring. My dog is doing great!

Dr. Alpert comes across as extremely condescending and judgmental. Simple questions are handled like we're unfit animal owners. We are experienced dog owners and have trained difficult breeds. After vast amounts of research we decided to get a Rhodesian Ridgeback. From the onset we were treated as if we had no business owning the breed, and she hated the fact that we got one. Her attitude didn't change over two different visits. Her demeanor is abrasive, short, and ill tempered. The dog isn't paying the bill - the owners are. Before you act so rudely to new customers, perhaps consider the consequences. We will never be returning and will actively warn others to take their patronage and pets to someone with some manners.

Dr. Chad was very gentle and kind to all of my babies. I took two guinea pigs and a very large cat in for treatment, and I could not have asked for better care or service.

I have been going to Community Animal Hospital for at least 13 yrs. It started as an emergency visit for my yellow lab, Ranger, and I never stopped. He got the best care in his later years. After he passed away, years later, I brought in Tucker. He came a a 2 month old lab pup and grew into a gentle giant of 142 lbs at 11 years. At some point every vet took care of him. He developed health problems in later years. If I was concerned, I called. And believed me, I called a lot. I always got answers or sometimes he needed a visit. Many times I felt like a pest, but everyone from the vets, techs and the girls at the desk were kind and considerate. Over time they all became my friends. When Tuck died, the hugs and tears got me thru. Now my new lab puppy, Beau, is coming here and I have confidence he will get the same care as the 2 before him received. Thanks CAH. I appreciate all you have done for us. And thank you Dr. Chad and Dr. Joe for all you did for Tucker. It will never be forgotten. And thank you to the girls out front, for putting up with my many calls.

Beautiful on the inside, the building and the hearts of those that work there. We're from out of state and our sweet old lab was very sick. We were seen quickly. But the many tests they ran told us about things our vet back home had missed. We ended up sending him to the meadows of heaven. Our vet back home doesn't even compare to the thoroughness of care we received here. I wish we had gone to Community Animal Hospital a long time ago. Much love to the wonderful people here. Best veterinarian experience I've ever had... ever.
