I work at State Hospital South and live in Pocatello. Today, on my way home with my friend/co-worker, we passed a kitten that had been hit by a car. It was still alive and we were able to get it out of the road. My friend found the Blackfoot Animal Clinic by searching on-line. It was minutes from closing time, but when I called them and explained the situation, they did not hesitate to tell us to bring the kitten to them. Once there, the staff was amazing. They responded immediately by calling for the doctor and taking the kitten and I to an exam room. I don't know who the staff members were because I was too stressed to get names, but a nurse and doctor checked the kitten out and let me know she had died. The vet was very sympathetic and offered to take care of the kitten's remains. He also thanked me for bringing her in and offered his sympathy. I wish I lived in Blackfoot just so I could take my precious pets to the Blackfoot Animal Clinic. If you are looking for a vet, I would seriously consider the Blackfoot Animal Clinic. Thank you BAC for all you did for all of us today!!!

The vets at this small-town animal clinic always treat us and our pets like we're awesome neighbors. They never act like we're paranoid pet parents, or that we don't care for our pets enough if we're tight on funds. This sweet boy has been treated 2x in 4 months, and no matter how much he tries to hide in my purse, or in the corner, they're always so sweet. They call him "Handsome" and"Buddy" and rub his ears or chin to keep him calm during his exam. Dr Parsons has also handled the euthenasia of 3 of our cats and he's so kind and caring about the process. The clinic even sends out a sympathy card to us because we've lost a small furry member of our family

Always been our go to place for our pet care needs. Dr. Murphy REALLY cares about the animals, I can tell how she interacts with our cat and dog that she looks at pets as beloved family members and not just "another animal". The staff are friendly as well. I can imagine the hard work everyone puts in especially they have a lot of clients but evenso, they do not hesitate to accept your pets for emergencies or even for "urgent" concerns you have regardless if you're unsure. I would give 10 stars if I can.

If I could I would not even give one star these people killed a 10 week puppy by messing with his spine popping his back to the point the puppy vodmited and now the puppy can not function at all won’t even eat we are having to put him down the puppy was functioning fine until they took him and popped his back and neck why do you mess with a puppy when nothing was wrong with him walking and eating fine to top it off we took him to get his shot s not to mess with him spinal cord
