I really did have high hopes in this vet. I had used a previous vet in the Roswell area that was definitely just trying to get as much money out of me as possible and didn't care about checking my dog out at all. So I try Rose since most of the reviews were great. I brought my shih tzu in with a cough that he had developed as well as a mass in his neck. The vet kept telling me "wow this is strange" "none of our vets know what this is", and I'm almost about to break in tears because my mind is going everywhere thinking what it could be. So she ultimately decides to put him under a sedative try and drain it and send him with antibiotics. The antibiotics I received was only a 5 day supply which got the mass away but came straight back the next day. So I had to call and request a longer antibiotic and pay for 2 antibiotic treatments when she should of been well aware that he needed to be on it longer. Not a big deal it went away. The real issue I have is the cough. They assumed since my dog comes to my hair salon with me everyday to work that that's why he was coughing. I just kind of accepted it but was uneasy with that answer. So I go get a second opinion, having to pay another vet visit, and he knew in about 30 seconds that my dog had a collapsing trachea, which is common in shih tzus. I cannot believe I had to go to a completely different vet for someone to actually take me seriously and check my dog. I would not come back here because I don't have faith that they know what they're doing, and definitely didn't take the time to even look. If you have a smaller shih Tzu, DO NOT COME HERE. I cannot believe the amount of money and time I've had to spend here only to figure out they were not doing their job correctly. Very nice staff but I'm just baffled that this was able to come out of their vet without a diagnosis.

I've got three Aussie's (2 mine and 1 foster) who have all been seen by Dr. Rosenthal, and I could not be more happy. Dr. Rosenthal is very personable, professional, and very gentle with the pups. Shereen was extremely thorough with all and any information given at discharge and during appointments. The staff genuinely care for the animals and it definitely shows. I am so happy with this Animal Hospital and feel very confident with my loves in their care. You guys are awesome!!

So let me start off by saying that I recently moved from NJ about 4 months ago and my first concern was who will be Jack's doctor now??? So I started looking into Vets near me and a lot pop out but their reviews were not that good so I decided to try ROSE ANIMAL HOSPITAL and I was impressed with their service. Dr. Courtney Rosenthal is so nice she treats my baby like a real person. She is so loving and caring and she just loves dogs or my dog idk but she is amazing with my dog. The staff are great also specially one girl who helped me a lot the first visit I forgot her name but she was really nice to Jack and me. Thank you guys for being a great to all our fur babies.

We love Rose Animal Hospital. I have two dogs and one cat. Outside of he usual check ups, they also groom my one long haired Labrodoodle and do a fantastic job! About a year ago, my dog was attacked by another dog and had multiple bites on her neck and back that ripped through into her skin, muscles and almost hit her jugular. The vets had to stitch her multiple layers of skin and muscles back together. Though it was a long road back recovery - and many office visits - my dog is fully recovered. Everyone at the office was excellent with her. We will never use anyone else!

Can’t say enough good things about Rose. On Sunday night we saw that our dog, Hudson, developed an ailment and our normal vet is closed for Christmas Eve. Tried Rose because it said they were open for a few hours. Indeed they were and they were able to see us quickly in the morning. The service was exceptional and they were so sweet to my pup. Dr. Rosenthal provided us with a wonderful experience. Our cat Sawyer was vomiting during the snow storm this winter and we couldn't get to our out of town vet. Rose Animal Hospital was just down the street and they were actually open! The staff and the doctor were welcoming, kind, and informative. They treated Sawyer and followed up with us to make sure he was okay. We returned a few months later for an eye issue, and Dr. Rosenthal explained everything she was doing and thinking clearly. Rose Animal Hospital has become our forever vet! They are amazing and I will never go to another vet in this area ever again. Over the 8 years we've lived in this area we have taken our dogs to 3 other vets in Roswell and we were constantly frustrated with either the rude front office staff, the vet, and/or the extremely high costs! We even drove to SC to a relative's vet a few times because the costs were literally 1/4 of what they are here. That was all before we found Rose Animal Hospital. They changed everything. Dr. Rosenthal is very caring and definitely knows her stuff - she is super thorough and takes a methodical approach to problem solving when the issue isn't obvious. She doesn't jump to expensive procedures prematurely and she explains the situation and all of the options with pros/cons very well. She also stays very current in her training and uses nearby specialists when an issue is outside of her core competencies. My dogs are extremely well cared for now that we found her and it's such a relief! Her husband runs the front office with a few co-workers and they couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. They remember you and your dogs! Imagine that! Their prices are super reasonable too, so we don't feel like we've been robbed every time we take them in - which is a lot since they are very old. The office itself is immaculate and very comfortable. We LOVE this vet and we will never go anywhere else!!!

It's taken me 9 months to finally be emotionally able to share my horrific experience I had the first and last time using Rose Animal Hospital. I boarded my dog Stella here. When I rescued Stella she was suffering from major separation anxiety. It took six months of working with her; being by her side 24-7 to slowly being able to leave her for up to 6 hours at a time without her becoming upset. I needed a close place to board my dog since her regular vet was filled up. I found Rose Animal Hospital online and trusted the reviews and the 5-star rating so I booked with them. I made a wellness appointment first, which Stella passed 100%. I discussed in detail what Stella went through before I rescued her and explained to this hospital her issue with separation anxiety. I was led to believe she understood what that meant. She asked if I wanted the "Luxury Suite" and I specifically said NO because Stella would need to see other people/activity due to her issue with anxiety, especially this being the first time I was leaving her since adopting her. I dropped her off on a Friday afternoon. I did not hear from the hospital until I called and left a VM the following Monday morning to check on how she was doing. I had to leave a message. That morning I was hiking the Grand Canyon and the valley had no cell service. A few hours later after the climb out I checked my phone and NEVER did it cross my mind did I think I would hear a VM from Rose Animal H. saying "Please call us right away, this is a life emergency." All they told me is she might not make it. They ignored what I said and put her in the Luxury Suite Friday night, closed off from everything. Basically solitary confinement to Stella. They proceeded to give her a sedative without my consent and in doing so Stella went into convulsions. Upon seeing the pressure wounds on her legs I don't know what happened but THE PICTURES SAY IT ALL. The one photo is a healthy happy dog right before her visit here. They were also trying to get my consent to bring her somewhere else because Stella became so ill they said she might not make it and they weren't equipped to handle it. I was not having her moved in that condition, to another strange place to feel more anxious! I was stuck in AZ and couldn't get her. I had to call to get updated details, not them calling me. My friend was picking Stella up due to my flight coming in right when the hospital closed that Sat. My friend had to sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes until she finally asked to see Stella. When they finally brought her out, that is when they said she had wounds. Not once did they mention it on the phone when she called for updates, or to me when I called. It took me A FULL WEEK of caring for Stella 3 times a day changing her bandages and cleaning her wounds before they started to heal. If she was injured this bad on the Sat. before, and this place was taking care of her, why would her wounds look like this 6 days later? She had skin missing from her nose and lip. She had kidney damage along with other organ issues. I took her to her regular vet the next day for a check up to confirm all the damage that was done and had the wounds looked at to make sure I could take care of them properly. I had to carry her outside to go to the bathroom the first week home because she was too weak to walk on her own. Before this, our morning routine was jogging 3 miles in our hilly neighborhood. To this day she can only walk a mile and half the most at time. I am sharing this with the public so this does not happen to another dog.

I'm so happy I found this place! My dog Gunner started going to Rose in February, he was having terrible bowel/stomach symptoms that my old vet couldn't figure out and was just over prescribing him meds to mask the symptoms, it was nightmare. I went to Rose and met with Dr. Tiffany, she is AMAZING! Gunner loved her and everyone at Rose, they really listened and sympathized with what was going on. Right away Dr. Tiffany ran a few test and suggested an ultrasound which uncovered what was going on. He is much better now! The staff is always there to answer my MANY question and concerns (lol crazy dog mom here!), it's just such a great place! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Clean establishment and very friendly staff! This is the only place I'll ever trust with my dog :)

I first went to Rose to pick up a puppy that I was going to foster. First impression of the office was WOW! Just very cool and welcoming. Most important was the staff interaction with the baby I was picking up. There was little doubt as to how much they cared about him. And since he was still within a rescue organization, I'm guessing they weren't getting their normal fees on him. Every return visit with our other fosters only gets better. They do not forget these dogs...you never feel like just a number here. Any vet that donates this much time, energy & resources to the rescue community is AAA++++ in my book. LOVE ROSE!

We went through hell and back through 4 different vets around the Atlanta area because our cat Toto had what was suspected to be FIP. After an extremely expensive surgery and threats to put him down for "biting" a vet tech that was aggressive with him, we made an appointment with Dr. Baird at Rose Animal Hospital. Having a chronically ill cat herself, she understood exactly what we were going through and knew what medication to start him on immediately. Since then, he is back to his normal self with no FIP symptoms in sight! While his diagnosis will take a specialized doctor, Toto would be dead today if it weren't for her expertise. Whenever I have any pressing questions about my cat's medication or changes to it, Rose has always been very helpful over the phone to answer my questions when other vets would make you schedule an appointment. Every time I pay for an appointment here, I'm surprised at how reasonable the prices are. I always expect it to be $1k per visit like other vets around here, but Rose typically charges me between $60-120 per appointment depending on what I'm in for. I will recommend them, and especially Dr. Baird, to anyone. <3

This was my first time taking my 3 year old Pit Bull, Leilah, into see a Vet after moving to GA. I was nervous, so was Leilah. The staff at Rose Animal Hospital were so good to both of us. They understood that Leilah was very nervous and they constantly give her words of encouragement and showed compassion. I was so happy they didn't treat her any differently cuz Leilah is a Pit Bull.
