The doctors are individually exceptional, but also dedicated to consultations, communication and referrals whenever complex situations would benefit from further input. The technicians are impressively well trained and professional in dealings with clients. The practice is efficient and well managed and the staff remarkably stable. Over the 30 Years I have been a client, I have never been unhappy with the care given my cats or the respect shown to me.

We recently switched to Dr Almand & Pharr Road as a result of friend's recommendations. We had previously been seeing another local veterinarian for years, but, their practice has been undergoing changes. Our dog is older, somewhat arthritic and diagnosed with a situation that will probably claim her within the next year. We intend to make it a great year for her. Dr Almand's course of treatment was to honor that, give her medication and lifestyle recommendations to make her time as great as it could be. Our prior vet advocated test after test and invasive surgeries when the ultimate outcome is already dictated. We prefer the kind, intelligent & pragmatic solutions offered by Dr. Almand. Her staff is great as well.

After changing 6 veterinarians around the town, I can finally say that Pharr Road Animal clinic is the right clinic for my fur babies. I can't praise the staff of Pharr road enough, right from the receptionist to the technicians and veterinarians, every service is impeccable and remarkable. Especially, Dr. Tracy Sasher is the best Vet that I have come across till date. She is extremely knowledgeable in conventional as well as alternative medicine. She never ignores or sidelines my concerns and discusses with an open mind without being judgmental. She never makes us feel rushed and gives us her precious time during every visit. She even let us borrow a help 'em harness for Casper till we get our own. I am all praises for technician Amber as well. My senior dog Casper is having Kidney disease with many other health issues, I was really upset at the other vet’s I took Casper before going to Pharr road, because no one tried to look out for different strategies for Casper, he was just a senior dog with not much left, but at Pharr road, Casper was welcomed with an open arm, and I can see that they are not ready to give up on him just like me, for them every life matters. I am glad that I stumbled upon Pharr road animal hospital, the care, concern and expert treatment I receive for Casper, is genuine and unmatchable, what else do an animal lover and worried pet parent need.

We are new to Pharr Road Animal Hospital, but already Dr. Marsh has changed our sweet Caisa Belle's life! A previous vet put our sweet girl on some un-needed medicines for skin allergies, and Dr. Marsh was quick to get her on the correct combination of medicines, food, and shampoo needed to treat her. It has only been a week, and already we can tell a difference in Caisa's skin, hair and her overall personality. Dr. Marsh also diagnosed Caisa with heart worms and within two days had us on a treatment plan that worked with Caisa, and with us. She called me three days in a row to check on Caisa and to explain the process of what the next few months will entail. She also waited at the office for me to bring Caisa in for some chest x-rays after work, and stayed to tell me the results that same day. We've never had a vet take the time and care with us that she did. Dr. Marsh was personable, welcoming, informative and took the time to explain things and write things down on a level that I would understand. I have nothing but good words to say about her and our experience so far, and Caisa loved her to! Although the treatment process ahead may not be fun, we are extremely thankful to be doing it with Pharr Road Animal Hospital and with Dr. Marsh. I would recommend both to anyone looking for an amazing vet and experience for their pet!

Pharr Road has given my two dogs the best possible care! When I first adopted my dogs, it was obvious that they had not received the veterinary care that they needed. After reviewing several vets, I chose Pharr Road. From the beginning they have been so wonderful, and caring. When one dog was involved in a dog attack, he was taken to the emergency vet. Not even 12 hours later, Dr. Paschal had called me to check on my dog! You do not get that kind of care, and attention to detail at many vets. Granted, they are pricier than other vets in the area, but I truly believe that you get what you pay for.

I had never been here before but needed somewhere to go pretty quickly. I called Monday and they were able to see me Tuesday. The staff was very friendly. My cat was clearly stressed to be there and one employee came out with a calming spray on a towel to help settle her nerves. I didn't have to wait long. I had an appointment at noon and was seen and checked out by 12:30. I loved it so much I made appointments for annual checkups for my other pets for the next week!

I can attest that Dr. Sasher is amazing and being involved in breeding and competition herself, she is always a wonderful guidance in making the right choices. The staff is great. The doctors are great. I am very very confident that Pharr road and Dr Sasher far exceed many other vets in the Atlanta area. I would not use another vet. Dr. Sasher spends as much time as needed with her patients, be it 10 minutes or an hour, she NEVER rushes you and goes thru as many scenarios as needed to make sure she helps you make an educated decision that is right for her patients. Her guidance has given me the security that my dogs are in exceptional hands. I have tried using 2 other vets in the Atlanta/Buckhead area and both have left me feeling like I am just a "number" with a bill to be paid. Dr. Sasher and her supporting staff at Pharr Road are top notch. She herself is the equivalent of a "true humanitarian" in the animal world. Her compassion, medical knowledge and level headed guidance is always well thought out and precise. When i was dis-satisfied with the other two vets I went to, I called Pharr Road and told them "how picky" I was about the medical professional I consulted with about my dogs and what I do with my dogs, they HIGHLY recommended Dr. Sasher and Im greatful that they did. Lastly what I like most about her is that she does not practice her craft with an ego. If there is something she does not know or can not do, she will recommend the best professionals to consult with. There is something great about someone who has the confidence to say I dont do everything, but what I do, I do well!

Wonderful, but your wallet wouldn't agree! This is the only vet I've gone to more than once and stayed with consistently. Everyone was so nice, helpful and attentive and from the first visit I felt very comfortable there, almost like I'd been going for years. Dr. Pascal always returns calls and explains very thing thoroughly (besides the costs!) and even called in a prescription for my dog while we were out of town. However, you will pay a HUGE price for said convenience and comfort. I had always felt like I was paying a premium but finally found out the extent when dr. Pascal called in a prescription for my dog while we were in Hilton head. I. Was. Shocked. I'd been paying $150 every month for my dogs meds that actually cost $60. Now I know why she was hesitant to call it in at first and tried every other option before agreeing. The thing that makes me mad is that I was knowingly and blatantly lied to about the cost. I'd asked if I could get it anywhere cheaper, online or otherwise, and was told very confidently that only one manufacturer exists for this med and $150 was the price they pay and thus they don't profit from this med (and an award winning explanation of why for extra convincing bc I called bs right out of the gate) Well now I know for sure that was a flat out LIE. I get they must make money but when I've shelled out $4k in less than a month, how about have a little heart and help me save $80? And when you're asked a question directly, don't lie... save the rip off for every other customer who doesn't inquire about a cheaper price. If you're on a budget or your pet has a lot of veterinary needs, you'd be better off somewhere else bc take it from me... That extra cost for convenience adds up when both of your animals have major vet needs at the same time!

My Yellow Lab ate a heart rate monitor. My parents yellow lab swallowed a massive chew whole. My 5-pound Malteese-Pomerianian needed knee surgery. Dr. Pashcal guided my wife and I through all of these scary circumstances with a tremendous amount of professionalism, honesty and genuine care. We feel incredibly lucky to have someone like Dr. Paschal in the area to help us deal with the unpredictable events associated with puppy ownership. These people really care about dogs and it shows. For over a year, my pitbull boxer mix has been suffering with severe skin allergies. Took him to vets but they had no idea how to address the cause. Finally, I looked up Dr. Satcher at this facility to see if we can find a solution. Happy to say that my dog has been almost bump free for two weeks. She offered holistic solutions that used topical and diet treatments. She spent over an hour with us (which she totally didn't have to do). If you have a dog with allergy issues, take them here!

My cat is a little (a lot) high strung and they both had no problem spending as much time as we needed for her to feel comfortable. Let me first preface this review by saying, I do not make a habit of writing reviews in general unless I really have something to say. :-) I've been going to Pharr Road Animal Hospital for several years. But this year in particular has been challenging. My furchild has recently been diagnosed with diabetes 2/4/2016. At first I felt extremely guilty because I felt I had let her down but Dr. Horner talked me off the ledge of guilt and has been a constant source of support for both of us. Every obstacle my furbaby has overcome is met with high cheers and support from Dr. Horner. But just this week, my furbaby got really sick: Ketosis-Dog. Not an easy thing to deal with especially since my baby was just diagnosed with diabetes. Upon diagnosis, my first thought is and was, whatever it takes to make her tail wag again is what we do. Our biggest cheerleader, Dr. Horner prescribed an aggressive treatment plan and we are fighting ketosis together. My furchild is improving and the results have been positive. In addition to Dr. Horner we have had help from Dr. Pogue, she has been great as well. I took my cat here for the first time about a year ago for a routine check-up. Everyone was very caring and patient, and I think my cat received very good care. My only complaint was that they were not able to give her the pills that they prescribed her for fleas and worms. I understand that my cat is difficult (as cats are), but it was disappointing and daunting that I was sent home with pills for my cat.

I took my five and half month old Lab/Ret mix for a Laparoscopic Ovectomy procedure. The entire experience has been extraordinary. Met with Dr. Steven Winokur and Dr. Brittany Marsh prior to the surgery. Dr. Winokur patiently explained the pre-surgery and surgery process that made me extremely comfortable. We just had our dog's teeth cleaned and a growth removed from his eyelid by Dr. Coleman, his tech Megan and the rest of his team, and couldn't be happier with the results. Whenever my rescue Golden, Chrissie, and I go to Dr. Paschal and Pharr Road Animal Hospital, we get the best treatment in the world. I've tried other vets over past decade, so I have a comparison. Since first coming to Dr. Paschal 1 year ago, I saw that she discusses various options and costs and helps you figure out what is best for your pet. She also keeps your pet's needs in mind and lets you know when new products are available that will help her. After having five skin infections while seeing another vet in January 2015, since coming to Pharr Road in February Chrissie has become the picture of health. Dr. Paschal also clearly cares about her human and animal clients. Once I had an emergency since Chrissie had gotten a stick stuck in her gums, and Pharr Road advised me how to get through the night, since there wasn't much bleeding, and then Dr. Paschal took care of Chrissie early the next morning. I completely depend on Dr. Paschal and Pharr Road Animal Hospital for my cherished pet's care. Before closing I need to say the support staff is wonderful, as well. Thank you Pharr Road!
