Lance Animal Hospital is the best as far as we are concerned. Our vet is Dr. Lara Chambers. She is very competent and has become a wonderful friend. She and the staff saved our 7 year old Cocker Spaniel's life when she found a grapefruit sized non-cancerous tumor on his spleen. She performed surgery to remove the tumor and today a year later he's absolutely healed.

My dog 13 year old Bailey has had a skin condition for 10 years, we have taken her to many different Veterinary Doctors including the University of Ga Animal Hospital and each one has given her antibiotics. expensive shampoos, antifungal meds ect. Took her here hoping to finally find a cure only to get more of the same, treat the symptoms without any cure. Mean while her skin condition had progressed to the point we thought we were going to have her put down she was in really bad shape. We finally after all these years and thousands of dollars spent have gotten her skin condition completely cleared up, I won't say how on here but I will say we did it without any help from this place, I really feel like 90% of veterinary clinics are not competent enough to cure these types of illnesses or they don't want to so they can keep you coming back to get more of money. You be the judge of that. There is no money for them in a healthy pet.

My dachshund hurt her back and was paralyzed in her back legs. I called Lance Animal Hospital to seek alternative therapies as all my vet could do was crate rest and steroids. Before we even came for our first appointment, Dr. Lance herself called me at 7:30 in the evening (long after her clinic closes) to discuss my dog. I was so impressed that she took time out of her evening to do this! We came for 4 appointments total and can say that everyone of her staff is friendly and caring. They took great care of my dog and I am very pleased to say that she is up and walking again! Thanks Dr. Lance for your compassionate care for Lucy & me! I will highly recommend your clinic to all of my friends!

I've been going to Dr. Marie and to her staff pretty much since she was first getting started I believe back in 2009. She is the only Vet I trust with my dogs and will only trust with my dogs as long as I live here. She saved my dogs life back in 2010 when he was attacked by another dog and had severe scares and bites that had to be stiched up and drains put in. Both my dogs absolutely luv her and the place, its weird cause they know where we are going and where we are when we get there and they don't mind. Since 2009 they have extended their services and added Holistic Health and Natural Healing for the animals. In combination with Natural Healing and what you do with your body physically, you have to be aware of you put into your body and also your animals. Lance Animal Hospital also can supply you and your animals with the BEST water you can ever drink, it's called KANGEN WATER!!!! Beware of getting the 3 yr. rabies vaccine for your dog!! A couple of years ago, I took my small dog to Lance Vet for an annual check-up. The tech recommended I get the 3 year rabies vaccine. I said 'no'. When the vet came in the room, she talked me into the 3 yr. vaccine. Going against my gut feeling, I agreed. Within 2 weeks, my dog developed a big lump on her side ... took her to another vet for treatment. Shortly thereafter, another big lump appeared ... back to the vet. Shortly after that, another big lump ... back to the vet. I truly feel that the 3 big lumps within a 6 week period were due to that 3 yr. vaccine.

We live in Canada and winter in Florida. We always make sure we stop at Lance Animal Hospital on our way home. We love Dr. Marie and Davarn as well as the rest of the staff. We have found them to go above and beyond our dogs needs. I have the utmost confidence in their care. We breed dogs and have had a number of different reasons to visit them. All have been a great experience and our dogs where very well taken care of. Wish they where closer as they would be our all time vet!

I take my boxer Winston to see Dr. Yates and he absolutely loves her!! He is very anxious and doesn't do well in public but the Lance team and Dr. Yates do a great job keeping him calm. Dr. Yates is a great vet, very knowledgeable and friendly and loves on my dog from start to finish. Highly recommend her and the rest of the Lance team!

Best vet in Hall County. Dr Lance and her staff are great/ . They do offer non traditional services ( acupuncture, herbal Medicine, Food Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy etc. . ) which a great option for many animals. We have been taking our dogs to her for 2+ yrs. We recently had to put one of our dogs to sleep and she and the staff were all so very caring and kind. Dr Lance always takes the time to explain things and answer your questions and never in a hurry. Davorin Bozja does the cold laser therapy which helped our dog greatly and she loved her visits. She always works with UGA which is also a great facility if you should need them.

Before I tell you why low rating I have to say the front desk personnel is great! And I use to love this vet but last 2 times I have went they have not done all they said they were going to during exam that I paid for and I didn't realize it until I got home and I had to call back to ask them. Didn't feel like taking dog all the way back 2 hours later when I realized it and called. This was a new puppy and they were suppose to worm her and they didn't give her the stuff. I paid for that service to. Also they didn't do something else but don't remember what it was right now. Really have to check you're getting all you pay for now and not getting a lot of extras they try to sale you every time you go.

My cat had an abscess that they did surgery on. They gave the cat Burkholderia during surgery with unsterile tools (along with 4 other cats...one being Dr. Laura's cat who died from the infection). As if that wasn't bad enough, they continued to charge me over $2000 dollars to try and nurse her back to health which took over 4 months (meds 4 times a day and touching the wound multiple times a day). So they were the ones who infected the cat but made me pay for it. Please be cautious taking your animals here. They talk a good game, but they don't back it up. They also lied about UGA doing a case study on the Burkholderia outbreak they had. I've spoken with UGA extensively and they have no idea what Lance was talking about.

Denise the front receptionist is rude as I'll get out. Dr.Lance is impersonal and beyond uncaring. Will never take an animal here ever! The only reason my family has to come here is due to Holly's king Charles dogs that dr lance uses in order to make a ton of money... even though holly could do much better when it comes to an animal hospital! I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals!

I took a deceased dog there...it wasnt mine. It got ran over. The staff wasn't real sympathetic but they let me turn her in , I thought maybe she had a chip but she didn't. They wanted me to pay to cremate her....I did... I was just trying to do the right thing....

BEWARE! Dr. Yates was incompetent and allowed my cat to suffer. I took my ill 19 year old cat to Lance Animal Vet practice for a suspected UTI and a full senior panel work-up. Dr. Yates claimed it was too difficult to take blood and urine samples. (Which in 19 years had never happened before.) How difficult is it to take a sample from a very sick, very old cat? She then proceeded to assume renal issues and sold me several types of expensive food. 3 weeks later, at another vet's office, we discovered that my cat does NOT have renal failure, but instead had a now very bad UTI. DON'T SEE THIS VET!

My family chose Lance Animal Hospital on the recommendation that one of the Veternarians there was not only a friend but a fine surgeon who cared deeply about the animals that she provided assistance to in her practice. Our dog Sammie had a tiny lump that we discovered on a trip to Fla and following several failed attempts to find a professional who truly recognized our love for our special dog we finally made an appt with Dr. Lara Chambers. Although we have a highly visible and recognized animal hospital right across the street from our home they did not demonstrate the compassion and sensitivity that made us comfortable with a decision to treat our 4 pawed family member. I say this because we reside approximately 22 miles away from Lance Animal Hospital we never the less gladly travel to their location because of Dr Chambers presence there. She was the Ultimate Professional upon our 1st meeting some 5 years ago and remains a constant and composed Veternarian to this day. We consider her our lifesaver as our dog is a family member to us and Dr. Chambers recognized that immediately upon our arrival. She was quiet, informative and brilliant. It is refreshing to say the least to discover a top notch Professional who truly cares and provides the epitome of extraordinary bedside manners. Our dog Sammie was found to have a mass cell tumor. Dr Chambers removed the tumor with precision and provided proper medical parameters to assure he had a successful outcome. She did. Following this procedure she has become a mainstay in our lives as each time we see her we are amazed at her unchanging demeanor. If you would like to experience this level of treatment please give her a call at Lance Animal Hospital. I promise you will not regret your decision. This is the absolute best vet I have been to hands down! The staff is friendly and seem to care so much for what they do. They explained everything to me before running any test(including pricing) they didn't pressure me into any unnecessary treatments as many vets in the past have done. I can not express enough how great this staff was to me and my fur baby, this will be the ONLY place I ever take my dog from now on. I went on vacation and had Lance take care of my older female pug..when i returned was informed that she had died...the found her in the cage none responsive they tried to revive her....when i went to find out what occurred..the veteran showed me an xray of her lungs that had completely filled with fluid.....the poor dog basically panted herself to death...she had a rasp when excited but what kind of care takers do they have not to recognize that a little pug is suffering..surely the person letting the dog out for rest breaks would or should of noticed something before the dog's lungs filled completely up..oh the vet consoled me by saying they wouldn't charge me for the week for the dog..i would not recommend them to anyone they may be expensive...but.

Some very unkind person "dumped" a beautiful brindle Doberman at our home, we took him to this vet and they ran the panels to check his health and tried to find his original home as he was chipped. When it became apparent that the previous owners no longer wanted him, he became part of our family. In his forever home now for almost two years, he has become more loving and he knows that he will never be "dumped" again. He developed a growth on his hind quarter, we returned to Lance and they ran blood work, diagnosed him and gave us the reassurance that he was not in any pain. I am very protective of these wonderful loving creatures and I can recommend without hesitation Lance Vet Clinic to anyone that is seeking professional vet care for their four legged family members.

I bring my pug and my cat to Dr. Yates. My pug gets very scared at the vet and can even become aggressive when getting shots and other treatments. Dr. Yates and the vet techs always take great care of him and handle it very well. Dr. Yates is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am always very confident in her care and treatments. We were clients of Dr. Marie's before she "made it"....she was very caring and personable and truly care about the animals; however, now that she has "made it", her concern is money and only the almighty dollar. She has worked with us and others in allowing clients to post date checks; however, that is no longer the case. Our cat has an urgent issue, his head is cocked to the right side and his eye is swollen shut. Due to our medical need at the same time, we asked for a 2 week post date (as opposed to our normal 1 month)....oh no!!!! How dare we ask that! She tried to force us to get a Care Credit charge card - we don't do credit cards. Her staff is unbelievable! I had to call 4 times before anyone would even speak to me. I spoke to Rebekkah and Heather. Rebekkah was too lazy to take a message, so I had to call back. I even left a message for the office administrator, but of course, no answer. AFter 3 days, Dr. Marie finally called back - very hatefully, there is no telling what Rebekkah told her, cause at first Rebekkah would not even have her call me, so I was quite shocked when she did. I am very saddened that she has turned this way. They will also try to gouge you with every test known to man kind. When I asked her what the treatment would be without the test, she said "the same"....and I said if we did the test? again, the same! I cut one bill from a possible $600 to only $200 (which we post dated for 1 month!) Be careful when going there or you will be in debt with unnecessary tests and surprise charges. We will, unfortunately, be taking our 5 dogs, and 4 cats to another vet.

Dr. Lance & staff listened to me & took fabulous care of my pup. Will never be able to thank them enough for their loving care. Great folks with great care & compassion for our companions.
