Their system keeps up with everything related to Sara who came from the shelter at about age 11. She is in good health now and is very peppy for her age (13) now. Truly love Dr. Chapman and his staff! My fur baby chiweenie, Rocko, got very sick and was worried he was not going to make it. Took him to Hoschton Animal Hospital and they took real good care of him. Dr. Chapman was very thorough and in conclusion Rocko had to have exploratory surgery. Dr. Chapman found during surgery that Rocko had swallowed a whole acorn and a piece of what looked like a knot out of a piece of wood! How my chiweenie got those down whole is still a mystery. That being said, he is back and am so very happy I have the Hoschton Animal hospital as a part of our family now. Very grateful for Dr. Chapman and his entire staff(Daniel, Ashton, Amy, Abbey, etc...) Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! ❤

I had to have my young, healthy cat put down unexpectedly, after he drank antifreeze. This was devastating to me. But the vet, vet techs & other staff were so wonderful, kind & helpful. Horrible experience yesterday and today. Our dog was attacked but the skin was damaged and she was well enough to move around and we checked her to see if there was any puncture and there was maybe one we weren't too sure. Sadly we couldn't stitch all the damages so my mother decided to take her to the vet especially since it happened over night. Get there and they are constantly slapping us in the face about rabies and why she didn't get a rabies shot. Of course we are concerned but we just want her to get stitched up and have her feel better. Nurses acted weird and snippy with us but once the doc arrived he said himself it was just skin damage but to be safe they need to put tubes in her for drainage. The bill was understandably high and we were willing to pay but my mom didn't feel safe with her being there with the way they were acting especially when one of the techs grabbed one of the open wounds on the neck and almost strangled the dog when she was getting shots. They kept us updated on the dog and said they were gonna keep her over night but my mom didn't feel safe still aND insisted to take her but they said she would be fine and in better care. Next day my mom gets a call and find out that our dog had died over night and they don't understand what happened since she looked fine. So she goes to their office to pick up the dog and they tell her they did her a favor of knocking the bill down since the dog died. Do us a favor next time and listen to us or at least keep our dog alive so we don't have to give our dog a proper burial especially when we were told everything is fine. And to tell us you did us a favor is extremely disrespectful when you didn't treat our dog correctly. To others out there, please go to another hospital I've never had such an awful experience and to have our dog die there all alone is so upsetting and I'm so full of anger and sadness.

They helped me through the hardest thing I had to do and that was to put my little dog out of her pain, they understood and hugged and helped me to let her go. The folks at Hoschton Animal Hospital are amazing. Not only do they have the technical expertise to care for your furry friends but they truly care about them too. They'll even board a sick pet to help give them medicine for their treatment (had to go out of town and we couldn't get a sitter to administer bunny medicine) - The cost is very reasonable (at least for Rabbits, YMMV with other pets). We even received a condolences card when they learned Mr. Buns passed away (in his sleep, peacefully at home). These folks really care, and they're top notch in their knowledge of "regular" pets and "exotics" :)

We have boarded our dog with this clinic twice. Both times he came back relaxed and happy. We have brought our dog for Immunizations and vet care and each time we left feeling that our little guy was in good hands and they would take care of him. My husband is disabled and being in a wheelchair adds extra difficulty to bringing our pet since he is the one to do so. The office has been courteous and helpful and made it easy for us. When we have had concerns, they have been addressed immediately. I will continue to recommend this office.

Awful experience! If you come here they are only going to milk you for your money. My dog wasn't feeling well but "alert" as the vet said himself and they immediately jumped to $160 blood work for pancreatitis and assured me that that would be the way to diagnose it. After the test was done and he was explaining to me that there is a suspicion of pancreatitis he goes 'but we won't know unless we run an additional test and that $37', seriously?!? I asked him why we didn't do that test first and he gave me the BS of 'well, they go hand in hand with each other', BULL! my sister in law works as a vet tech at Suwanee Animal Hospital and she said they could've done the cheaper one to know and then done blood work if they thought there was a greater risk. When I asked him what the treatment was he slapped on another $60, um, no! I only went to this vet because I lived close and there wasn't any appointments at their original vets office until tomorrow but I have learned my lesson! And when I told him no I don't want to do any treatment as of right now because I wanted a second opinion he goes " okay, well, pancreatitis isn't something to joke about and your dog will die if you don't do anything about it". Seriously?! Thanks for the judgement, you have NO idea how much money I have spent on these dogs to make sure their lives are healthy. I will do treatment but not with YOU. DO NOT go here, they will nickel and dime you to death!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. After taking my dog to an ER vet and told she needed bone fusion or amputation. I brought her to see Dr. Stout who told me after doing a thorough exam and X-rays and all she had was a small fracture that would heal with splinting and time. The front staff are super friendly, techs are knowledgeable and caring and the 3 doctors are amazing. Thank you guys again for saving dippy.

I've been taking all my pets to Hoschton Animal Hospital since 2004. Even after I moved to Flowery Branch I still take all my babies to see them. I trust them and they have shown to be loving and gentle at some very bad times ( 5 pets had to go to heaven) and surgery on both my dogs back paws this past year. They are kind and loving and excellent vets. I can't say enough about how good and kind they are.

We have been with Hoschton Animal Hospital for years. All of the staff at the hospital is genuinely concerned about your pet's welfare and they aren't pushy. But at the same time, they have done things for us that go beyond the standard service. We've had emergencies and they've made themselves available to help. We had concerns which they helped us with. But most important is the care and loving attention they give our pets (5 dogs). We would recommend Hoschton Animal Hospital for good care and maintenance.

Recently moved to the area and I am very grateful to have found a new vet for my rescue dog, Wally. Dr. Chapman is great and very thorough, helped us determine Wally has hip dysplasia and recommended a great product we'll have to try to help keep him happy and active. The staff there are so friendly and kind (Amanda and Abbey, thank you!) and they made sure I had ALL my questions answered about possible flea and heartworm protection for my pup. I'm glad it was such a pleasant experience for us and we will be back in 6 mos for our next heartworm treatment.

Dr Chapman is the single best doctor I ever met. This is not your regular vet, he is on the cutting edge and can start where ordinary vets give up and do palliative care only. His assistant, Heath, deserves a special mention too for patiently putting up with a hypochondriac pet parent :) I went in wanting the Medivet stem cell treatment for my old dog. Dr Chapman recommended seeing if he responded to platelet rich plasma first as the effects are similar but shorter acting. It is also about a tenth of the price. They took good care of my big whiny baby, Dr Chapman is able to think on his feet and consider new ideas. You would think most doctors could do this but often they can't. My only issue with Hoschton Animal Clinic is that it is so far away from where I live that I often have to use a place that although excellent by most standards, is looking a bit shabby compared to Hoschton. ...Amazing place...I live an hour away and I don't mind to spend time in car to drive over there, because I know that my animals are in best professional, loving, caring hands...I also had to use once emergency service on Sunday and I had great fast respond.... My dog had same day surgery witch safe my dog's life....All employers are super friendly and they treat you and your pet like their own family. All of them they have bunch of animals at home on their own...what tells me that this clinic is not here just for business and make money ,but they are animals lovers and they are here to help .....Prices are very, very low compare to other places. I been in USA for 15 years ...living in Buckhead and exactly 15 years I go to this clinic and few of my other friends as well ...There is NO way I'm changing them no matter how far I live...My animals means a lot to me and they deserve the best .....Hoschton Animal Hospital has best doctors and best team in Georgia ...
