GVR is comprised of an amazing team of professionals that go the extra mile for their patients and clients. As an undergraduate Pre Vet student, I have loved interning here for the past two summers! Their clinic is state of art with great rehabilitation methods (underwater treadmill, swimming pool, laser therapy etc) and dedicated Veterinarians and Therapists! Love this practice and cannot say enough good things!

I took my 10-year-old dog here for what his vet believed was a herniated disk or some sort of nerve damage. I couldn't afford to do an MRI to find out exactly what was wrong, so I decided to give physical therapy a try. Before his rehab sessions, Simon's back legs were buckling badly where his butt would almost touch the floor as he stood and he could not lift/wag/move his tail at all. He'd lag behind me during our walks and could not stand well for long periods of time. After 4 sessions of acupuncture and laser therapy and 1 session of underwater treadmill, my boy is doing SO MUCH better. He's able to lift and wag his tail, he stands for long periods of time without his back legs buckling, he trots happily on his walks ahead of me, and he seems to be much happier and in better spirits! Dr. Vaca and all the assistants are patient with Simon when he's nervous and they do an amazing job at helping him get his quality of life back. Definitely recommend GA Vet Rehab

GVR is an amazing place with amazing staff from all the experienced doctors, to wonderful rehab assistants and technicians, to their friendly front staff. They are extremely thorough and treat every client with like family. I would recommend anyone go there if they want a comprehensive thoughtful consultation and guidance. They truly do care about everyone who walks through their doors.

Had my first visit to GA Vet. Rehab today and was so pleased. The staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They spent much extra time with my dog. Her meds were changed. She was fitted for a cart. She was also given lazer treatment. The services my dog received were excellent. No unnecessary services were pushed on us. I felt the pricing was very fair. Extra impressed right here! I would suggest this office to anyone with a pet experiencing orthopedic issues.

GVR is awesome! All three of the DVM's here are wonderful, and Rachel the doggy recreation therapist is super sweet too. The setup is really nice and they have half-doors where the dog be let off leash in the room but still be able to see out and feel comfortable. They even have a pool, gym and underwater treadmill.

The folks at GVR were amazing. They were all so kind and helpful. The facility was first class as well. When it was time for our exam, the vet and tech got on the floor with our dogs and examined them at a pace that was comfortable to our dogs. That meant the world to me. It was as low stress as you could possibly ask for.

What a wonderful place. Very friendly atmosphere from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Dr. O was very thorough with our little dogs ivdd condition. Took the time to evaluate and provide treatment options. We listened and accepted all of the treatment options as they did not attempt to oversell any services. We will be going back for more visits. Highly recommend whether you live far or near if your furry pet needs some expert help with their physical condition.

Had our 11 year old pug in for her initial evaluation today due to problems with hind legs. The staff is wonderful. A very calming atmosphere from moment you step in! Our pug had 1st acupuncture treatment which went well. Highly recommend GVR.

After my 12 yr old Chihuahua fell and injured her back, an orthopedic specialist recommended an expensive MRI and thought she would probably need surgery. I took her to GA Vet Rehab for a second opinion. They were able to get her back to normal with chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, laser therapy and pool physical therapy. Much less expensive and, more importantly, much less risky and less traumatic for the dog. Dr. Orenbuch is the best!

When my 8 month old cat accidentally broke her leg playing with our other cat, I was heartbroken for her. Luckily GVS in Sandy Springs that night and Dr. Cross the next morning operated on her. When we picked her up and they recommended a physical therapy appointment as follow up, I rolled my eyes. But, I was going to do everything I could for this little girl. Today was her appointment at GVR. I am so happy that I did it! The physician (Dr. Bailey) was wonderful as were the techs and visiting vet student. Thankfully she is 15 days post op and doing great. What is most telling about the integrity of this well staffed and equipped place is that they did NOT try to get me to use services that were not needed. That type of integrity is VERY hard to find. As a physician, I am embarrassed that I am probably not as warm and caring as these people are! I highly recommend GVR.

Dr Horne is caring, knowledgeable, and a very competent vet. We took our tripod boxer mix in for an evaluation for a prosthetic. She spent a lot of time with us to make sure we understood how to provide for his special musculoskeletal needs. We left with an action plan to keep him healthy, mobile, and pain-free. The staff was attentive, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend their clinic.

So very disappointing. Will start by saying all personnel, except the vet, were very friendly and nice. Dr Vaca is someone most pet owners and lovers would not want to deal with. While i understand that some examination is necessary, I stepped out of the room and listened to my dog scream in pain while she did her exam. Even in the lobby, I could still hear him. Dr. Vaca’s comment to me was, “I can’t examine your dog. He’s so dramatic.” She was provided recent xrays, and history from three other veterinarians diagnosing the problem as severe hip dysplasia. I asked her what other info she needed, and explained that we were there for pain management. She insisted that she must have a complete orthopedic exam involving knees, etc. She was cold, and completely unsympathetic when I explained that my dog had been in a lot of pain recently. He was muzzled at my recommendation, but Dr Vaca insisted that he was “flailing around” too much to be examined. I would love for her to have said, that in order to be compassionate, and fair to my dog, sedation was needed. I would have said fine to that. Please ask which vet you are seeing, and avoid this one if you can.

Brought my dog in for spinal core injuries and paralyzed for three days. Brought him in from recommendation. They will treat your dog nice and friendly. After acupuncture, laser therapy, and exercices. My dog is recovering very fast!

I took my 2.5 year old lab in today for an evaluation and a hydrotherapy session. She has hip dysplasia, so we will be coming in regularly for sessions to help her lose weight and hopefully help improve her condition. Everyone we met today was super nice and very informative. Dr. Horne was the vet we saw today for my pup’s eval. You can really tell everyone here cares for the animals that walk through their doors, and the whole atmosphere is just really comforting. The pricing is fair considering this is a state of the art facility specializing in physical rehabilitation for animals. They have packages for different therapies that save you some money. I highly recommend GVR if you want your babies to be in good hands while they are healing.

Cant say enough good things about these guys, they have really helped our dog's leg weakness issues. We had thought he had some significant orthopedic issues but it turns out that he just had leg weakness and muscle loss. We took him to a hydrotherapy session and a land based session once a week each for three weeks and it made a huge difference, he now ambulates up and down stairs without any issues! They also do spinal adjustments which has also helped him significantly. We will continue to take our dog here as long as we have him with us, they really care for him and love him, it shows every time we bring him in.
