The doctor's and staff are great- with the exception of one.. Andrea from the front desk! She is very blunt, rude, and condescending. She imposes her personal opinions on us concerning our dog's health and treatments. Let go of this nasty lady! She is a stain on the clinic!!

I found Dunwoody Animal Medical Center online and decided to take my adopted Husky there for her initial check up. This place is AH-MAZING! They are on the expensive side but you get what you pay for! My dog is like my child and they treat her as such! They ask lots of questions and genuinely care! My Husky has had some skin issues and eye allergy issues and they have been handled with no issue! I know my dog is in good hands! They dont give unnecessary tests or meds and give alternative/cheaper solutions.

Dr. Johnson and his staff are knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. They also have very cool exam tables that have a nice foam that provides grip and cushioning for the animals, the tables are also electric so they can move them down and up for the bigger older dogs who have issues, and they happen to be scales!

As a disclaimer, I am Cecil Johnson, the owner of the Dunwoody Animal Medical Center. I did not see any other method to respond to Ms Salinas other than to create a post. Ms Salinas worked for me in October of 2016. She was released after 3 days of employment. For the record, I did indeed graduate cum laude from the Veterinary College of the University of Georgia in 1983. I was selected as one of 15 students nationwide to be awarded an internship at the Animal Medical Center, one of only 2 private hospitals in the country offering internships at the time. So, yes I actually do have degrees. Oh...and a stuffed animal that I sometimes share with my younger clients :-)

I absolutely love Dunwoody Animal Medical Center! We have been taking our dogs here for 5 years and even though we don't live in the area we continue to come here. The office is always clean and I've never had a problem getting an appointment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Johnson is an excellent vet who takes his time listening to clients, educating, and making sure all questions are answered. We've also seen Dr. Pinsky a time or two and she was amazing as well.

We love Dr. Gould. She's wonderful. If it weren't for her, we'd find another practice. They nickle and dime you for everything and their accounting is a bit shady. Just one example: I like to board my geriatric cat there when we leave town because I trust the vets, but they charge to give 1/4 tsp of Miralax into the cats food (costs more than the med itself and takes 2 secs), and they offered to trim nails and brush the knots out of his fur, but didn't tell me that it costs extra until I saw the bill. $15 to trim cat nails? Again, vets are great, business model kind of sucks.

I thought my puppies may have a tick on them. I freaked and Dunwoody Animal Medical Center calmed my fears. We had never been there and they told me to come right in and leave the puppies as they will work them in. I did and within an hour they called to tell me it was a false alarm. No ticks, no fleas, they are very healthy. The whole staff was so nice to me. We have been with our vet in Marietta for almost two years but I believe we have a new vet. I highly recommend them!

A great group of professionals and staff. Vets take time to explain and have been able to handle all my dog’s needs more than efficiently. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
