I have kennelled my two babies Lexee and Carlee here three times and the staff is absolutely wonderful even when the girls come from the back both my babies run to them. I don't trust anyone with my kids but I trust this place! One story I want to tell was my flight was late getting in and I thought I was not going to be able to pick my babies up after not seeing them for a week. The workers stayed an extra 15 minutes so I could pick them up that day! They are so wonderful here and I am so grateful I found this place!! Thank you guys so much for being so wonderful!! I would recommend this place to anyone with pets!

I was disappointed with a recent visit I had at the animal hospital. My cat was seriously ill and we had come to the tough decision to put him down. The whole staff was incredibly rude and thoughtless when it came to the actual process. It was an emotional time and what was needed was professionalism and care. What the doctor and vet assistant gave was attitude and inappropriate behavior and actions. Your vet assistant should be fired because he apparently thinks it's "all about him." It's not, it's about the precious animal and family that chose to make the decision. The doctor should go back to school. She wanted to euthanize without sedating. She clearly does not have any confidence in her skill or profession. She only cared about euthanizing and not about how much the animal was stressed out. Also,they did not use correct pronouns. The staff used "it" within earshot of the owners. The animal is a part of the family and important.

Zach Adams and Angie Taylor are great great great with the animals and Katie Thornton is wonderful with the animals as well as your pocket :) You can not go wrong taking the your fur babies here!!!!

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats who routinely receive vet and grooming care at Creekside Animal Hospital. I am a retired vet tech so I am very picky about who treats my pets. I have found the vets here to be very caring and knowledgeable about my pets needs. Dr Tarabula the new owner is very kind and listens attentively to all your needs. He also seems to be current on all the new treatments available to helping our fur babies. My dogs get their "spa day" once a month(usually) and always come back looking and smelling great! Katie, their Reception manager, is so easy to talk to and anytime I have any concern or issue with service she totally takes care of it for me with patience and understanding. The whole staff has bent over backwards to help me in and out of the clinic as I have a 1 and a 3 year old children to deal with as well. No place is perfect, but this place is always willing to make anything that seems wrong to me right with joy. That means a lot to me! I highly recommend this veterinary office for all your pet needs.

My family has used this vet Clinique for years and we’ve never been disappointed. I brought my 3 year old Rottweiler, Kobe there when he started getting sick, turned out he had lymphoma and we sadly had to put him down a couple months after finding this out. The staff were so good to Kobe and showed so much care for him and even sent us a letter and donated money in his name after he passed away. I have nothing bad to say about this place. If you want a trustworthy vet to take your pet then I recommend this place.

My dog had a large lump on his paw. Both the doctor here and their lab misdiagnosed the lump as benign, and didn't recommend any follow-up. Sadly, I waited a few months to get a second opinion from a different clinic. They detected cancer cells under the microscope, right in their own office, and had my dog in for surgery the very next day. The lab report concurred - it was a sarcoma.

Have used Creekside for 6 years. Loved Dr Sam and was happy with John. Have spent thousands of dollars there. Recently I decided to cut my costs so I went elsewhere for the annual shots. The vet swore that 2 of the shots were 3-year shots and weren't needed. Took Mulligan in for a grooming and got a call that the shots were only 1 year and he needed them. Told them to just groom him. Then got a call from the vet that he needed those shots and that it was unsafe for the other animals there to be exposed to Mulligan. Wow, what a shock. Immediately went to pick up Mulligan. Groomer was friendly but the other 2 receptionists did not acknowledge me. No hello, goodbye, or eye contact. Amazing. Mulligan now has the unnecessary shots, a new groomer, and a new vet. Hopefully, the new people will be better than what I recently experienced. Couldn't be any worse.

We found this clinic and Dr Orton after searching for a surgeon to remove Ivy's mast cell tumor from her ear. Our previous vet insisted on removing her entire ear which we felt unnecessary. Dr Orton stated removing the tumor only was possible and respected our opinion and did as we asked. The tumor was successfully removed and her ear remained intact. Since then we moved all of our dogs to this facility due to the compassion and respect the staff and Dr Orton showed us and Ivy. He remembers her each time he sees her and is following another situation with her carefully and respectfully. He is reassuring and compassionate and we appreciate that. Ivy is a nervous dog but takes to him easily and we are so confident in him and so happy we found him. He literally saved her life. We do not live that close to this clinic but gladly make the drive. Dr Orton and his staff are amazing. His tech Ashley is such a joy and the front desk is caring and actually smiles.

My beloved fur pet Bichon suddenly had a disease over the summer and I had to decide to euthanize her. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to do. The staff at Creekside tried everything and offered options but with her deterioration it wasn't plausible. It was especially hard on that day when we watched our fur pet slipping away so fast. The staff at Creekside Animal Hospital was AMAZING! Dr. Shelby Hixon cried with me and when we left I felt like I had a friend standing with me during the whole thing. Since then we have got a new fur baby. The staff at Creekside has been amazing and I couldn't ask for better customer service. My puppy has never felt nervous going in there, in fact she gets excited to see all her friends. I feel very blessed to be a customer at Creekside Animal hospital. They feel like family.

They even sent me a very sweet hand signed note of sympathy hand signed by the entire office including the doctors. I can’t thank you all enough for being so kind and understanding as I was sobbing over my doggie “Inky” whom I miss so much!!

They gave me all the information I needed to proactively and comfortably progress him through this devastating disease and were so empathetic throughout the process. Most importantly, the day I had to "say good-bye" to my buddy, they were both available (Dr. Julie came in on her day off to pay her respects) and made an EXTREMELY HARD day as bearable as possible. I will always cherish both of their kindness towards myself and more importantly for Dallas! My husband and I are new to Cumming and when my baby girl Eleanor had a suspicious spot pop up on her belly; this hospital was able to get us in literally the same day. The entire front office staff are so caring and give my dog so much attention the moment we walk in the door. Dr Hixon got her scheduled for a biopsy and she made sure all my questions were answered before the procedure, and put my mind at ease. They took amazing care of her, she was ready to play that same day. The Vet we had for our follow up appt kept calling the offsite lab to make sure they sent over our results. She called me that night after hours to let me know the good news. She didn't rush the conversation and kept making sure all my questions were answered. I love that. Thank you so much!!! The techs are the best. So gentle and unlimited belly rubs are given to my little fur child. She couldnt be in better hands. I am so happy I found this place, and know my dog is getting excellent care.

The people there were great and always nice. but they just want your money. They were great in the beginning however towards our last few visits there they did not help our dog at all. they would prescribe her products that would cost us an arm and a leg and then in the next visit say we never actually needed that product or administer the medicine in a cheaper better form after paying full price for a bottle of pills. They would only make the poor dog worse after each and every visit. After a month of watching her suffer it was time to go to a new vet. in the course of 6 hours after visiting with the new veterinarian she was playing again and showed immediate progression towards better health. Creekside Animal Hospital is a huge waste of money and almost cost our dog her life. will never go back and will never recommend to anybody.

Creekside Animal Hospital is literally the best of the best. Every time I bring one of my pets to see them I have been nothing but impressed with their care, empathy, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. There office is a no judgement zone which is not what I have experiences in other offices. Vet care is never cheap, nor should it be but their technicians have everything broken down line by line and work with you on what is best for your pet and your budget. This past week (memorial day weekend) we were in the process of moving and I needed emergency housing for one of my dogs and they got her in same day and taken care of. She was extremely nervous and I was too leaving her, but they put both of us right at ease from the time we walked in the doors. I called the next day to check on her and was sent pictures so I could see she was okay. I will never take my babies anywhere else! I am very thankful I found you all.

I brought my cat daisy there yesterday for an abscess, infection, etc and they brought the bill down for me so it was affordable and they were so kind. I brought my dog diesel in today too and it was not terribly expensive either and they were great with him. Their hospital is very nice and clean and all of the people working there were so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back for all my animals' needs from now on. The doctors were just as nice!

They care about money more than they do your pet. They wouldnt even try and diagnose my dog because i didnt have the money up front. They said they think its parvo (shes a year old and had her shots) hooked her up to IVs and sent us on our way. That cost 150 dollars...we found a clinic a few days later and they took her immediately. Still have yet to see the bill..turns out our dog was poisoned some how and had hookworms (even though she was just treated) which a poo smear and simple blood work could have showed...now shes fighting for her life with a clinic that cares more about getting your pet well over getting paid first. Just hope its not too late...oh and when my wife was picking up our still dying dog she noticed and woman boarding hers about to go on vacation...they gave her the option to pay when she got back...nice...thanks for nothing...oh and the clinic we took her to excepts payment plans which the director at Creekside said "just isnt the way of things anymore) got 150 out of our already low budget...way to step up guys. You have seriously lost sight of whats really important.

What a wonderful experience! From the moment I came in the door I was greeted with kindness and that continued as we entered the exam room. The doctor was compassionate and knowledgeable. He was patient as I asked all sorts of questions. I walked away knowing more about the disease and what I need to do. The prices seemed very fair for the exceptional service I received. I hate to see my puppy go through this, but I am confident that the people at Creekside Hospital will continue to love on him as much as I do. ❤

What a great place. We have a Cane Corso and have been to many different places over the years. Not only did they recognize the breed right away without mistaking Moose, but they were very knowledgeable about him as well. The staff was very polite, happy and positive. It has been difficult for us to find a place with this kind of service and atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home away from home for your pets.

My cat, Toby, has big problems. Huge! No other clinic wanted to take on these problems. Then I found Creekside. They have been the difference between life and death for my boy. They got him to the specialist he needed, and they have treated him with such love and respect despite his condition. They have never given up on him. I was concerned the clinic would lose this special quality with the passing of Dr Adams. While he is greatly missed, the new doctors are just as amazing. Dr Donnerstag is a rock star! The clinic is always clean, the staff is friendly and courteous, and my cat is doing well despite his issues. I couldn't ask for more!

The staff is horrible, annd show no compassion. First they told us intial visit was free, too only try and charge $300 and guaranteed my wife that our cat was going to die. And then tried charging triple of what chewy charges for medication. These people are worthless. Trust me when I say find somewhere else to go. My cat has never been healthier thanks for nothing.

This place shows no compassion or care what so ever! We recently moved to the area and when our cat got ill we decided to try this place out. It turned out our cat had kidney failure and these vets essentially said there was no chance and we shouldn't even try to help him get better. Seeking a second opinion we drove to our old vet (about 25 miles away) and they knew that we weren't willing to give up without trying so they gave us another option and gave our cat a fighting chance. Unfortunately, the treatment didn't help so we took out cat back to this place to say goodbye. THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!!! They knew we were coming to put our baby down and showed no sympathy. The lady at the front desk couldn't even be bothered to get off the phone and acknowledge us,Then the actual vet showed us no sympathy.He didn't even do the cat the favor of sedating it before they put him down so he struggled in his last moments. There was no we're sorry for your loss or anything said to us. As if putting our cat down wasn't already difficult enough, this place made the experience even worse! We will no be going back to this place, even if that means driving an extra twenty minutes to give our pets the care they deserve.

We take our pets for their annual check ups here, and it is always quick, and they try to be as calming as possible while they're getting shots. Anytime there has been an after hours pet emergency they were able to help, and direct us what to do and where to go. Great animal hospital, highly recommend taking your animal family members here.

The staff is organized and neat. They are all professional and caring. They followed up after our appointment to make sure kitty was doing well and see if we needed anything else. I wanted to find someone who was cheaper but it turned out-it was not worth it! You get what you pay for. I learned my lesson the hard way. Nice to be back.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! Been taking my fur babies here for the last five years and always had great experiences! The staff is always very nice and greet me and my babies by name when we arrive. This last trip my smaller (5 lb.) dog had a reaction to some of her shots, so I called around 5:45 and Dr. Tarabula called me back himself, told me what to try and gave me his personal cell phone number to call him on later in the evening if she didn't start feeling better soon. I was very impressed!!! This was the first time I had seen him, usually I see Dr. Bradshaw which I love, but he definitely made a great first impression!!! Creekside Animal Hospital is amazing! My husband and I moved to the area about 3 years ago and have an 8-ish yr old lab. We've gone to a couple other vets and just never felt like it was a good fit. A friend suggested Creekside, so we made an appointment, and it has been the best vet experience we've ever had. The front staff (Lori and Cindy) are ALWAYS welcoming and helpful. All the vet techs have been outstanding (special thanks to Ashley and Ashley!). And, Dr. Hixon is by far the best vet we have ever had. She is smart, incredibly knowledgeable, articulate and kind. She knows we have a ‘special’ pup who has extreme anxiety when it comes to visiting the vet, and she always makes him feel comfortable… sitting on the floor to perform an exam is the norm! We’ve had to visit several times in the last few months to get a few issues addressed and every single time we visit, we get the same amazing service. As dog parents, we feel at ease and know he is in great hands. Thank you!!

I recently brought in my mini Aussie for a pre-dental examination. The entire visit was a very positive experience. The vet tech and vet were very caring and gentle with my nervous pup. They were thorough with the examination and gave good recommendations for dental hygiene. The front desk staff were also very friendly. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. (I have had several other visits here with my Mastiff and all were positive).

We don't live in Georgia. We are camping at Lake Lanier for a few weeks. Yesterday our 15 year old dog, Richie, suddenly went into a major health crisis. His tongue was very pale and he was barely breathing. We had seen Creekside Animal Hospital on our trips to the grocery store across the street from there, so we took Richie there. I told the lady at the desk that it was an emergency, and she took us right back to an exam room. Within seconds, a vet tech came and took Richie back to the hospital area where a doctor was waiting for him. In less than a minute, the vet tech came and took us back to where Richie and the doctor were. Dr. Orton was really wonderful, and the vet tech Ashley was great! Sadly, Richie was too far gone, and despite their dedicated efforts, he passed away. Since we had never been there before, no one there knew us, but Dr. Orton, Ashley, and both of the ladies at the front desk were SO kind and compassionate! They all made us feel as though we had been clients there for years, and their sorrow for our loss was genuine. I would definitely recommend Creekside Animal Hospital to anyone who needs medical care for their pets. And, if we need vet care in the future when we are in the area, we will absolutely go back there.

Dr. Donnerstag and Dr. Hixon are awsome both showed genuine compassion and concern for my 2 cats and dog. They answerd all my questions and even helped me with brining some of the costs down due to my temporay fixed income. Katie and Lori at the front is great they always help me with questions and concerns about costs, perscription food etc.
