To be fair, this should be two stars but our last visit was so terrible, I'm dropping it another star. Our first few visits were fine, routine check-ups for a healthy puppy so nothing a quick stop to the nurses couldn't fix. Then, we asked to see the doctor for our latest visit, since our puppy was losing patches of fur and exhibited heavy dandruff. Also inquiring about checking for ear mites, we were told we had to specifically request the doctor. Once we got there, we waited a long time only for a nurse to stop by and say everything was fine. We still insisted on seeing the doctor. An assistant walked in, and after carelessly dismissing the skin issue, later determined the puppy did indeed have dandruff. And when checking for ear mites, the assistant yanked on the puppy's ears, so much so that our puppy growled a bit. Hearing this, the assistant insisted we needed to neuter him right away, because of his "temper." What the actual hell. Someone please explain to me how a soft growl in pain equates to needing to be neutered. If they'd mentioned that it was time to neuter based on his age, that would have made sense. But neuter him because he growled when you yanked on his ears? And you're a worker in the animal care field? We won't be coming back here.

Honestly, i can NOT count on one hand of to many great offices here other than this place...And how personable and knowledgeable Dr Gross is. I am originally from Florida and I always trust one vet back there when growing up. However, some vet offices around here need to learn how to do a whoooosa and realize pet parents have questions due to ever changing dog foods changing that are coming out. The new studies that have been done to protect your family pets. However, This is your vet office to become knowledgeable and for this vet office to educate pet parents.

I am beside myself. I brought a kitten in for a Urinary Tract Infection. Instead of just giving her an antibiotic shot, they gave me these huge pills to dump on her food(More pill than food) she thew up her Capstar, they tried to give her 3 or 4 times, food&Medicine. Now she has not eaten, 2 weeks later, still in pain. Bring her back & ask me to leave her there. I am picking her up soon&hope this baby has some releif. My normal vet Dr. Curt Garner would have handled this different & she would be better by now. If I was paying for this instead of Kitty Konnection, I would not have returned

I was recommended to Care More by Four Paws when our dog wouldn't let them cut her nails. It turned out PetSmart had cut two of her nails far too short & the only way she would let anyone touch her paws was to be sedated. I had never had this done to her before & was very nervous about it but the people at Care More were beyond helpful & helped put my mind at ease. The staff definitely made a situation that was a bad one into one that was as simple as it could be with little stress on our dog. I am now having to have this done again for her, but by a vet where I live & am paying well over $100 for just the sedation. At Care More I paid $38 for sedation & the nail clipping. So if you're looking for a great vet that cares for your animal & is budget friendly, I would recommend Care More 100 times.

They are amazing! My regular vet closed unexpectedly and I had to find a new doctor for my elderly pup Sam. They saw us right away and got his thyroid prescription taken care of even though we were moving out of town. I had to visit again because he had an ear infection right before we moved. They did a check up and bloodwork just to check everything for his annual visit so it would be taken care of before we moved. After the move they sent the new vet his prescriptions. I never write reviews but I felt like i had to tell others about their great care. Highly recommended and pricing is great.

We absolutely love Dr. Grossman and the staff here. We recently adopted 2 kittens, and immediately had one of them with an eye infection. Off to the new to us vet around the corner! He was great with our babies, and he and the tech took the time to send a card welcoming us to the family and wishing our cat a speedy recovery. We've since had to go back a few more times (did you know cats could have outie belly buttons? Neither did we. Dr. Grossman assured us though that our cat was fine.), and every time he's been awesome. After our last visit, we got texted a few days later to find out if kitty was doing better, because if the meds hadn't worked we were going to need to take more dramatic measures. Prices are reasonable, the staff is super sweet and we are always in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Their follow up is beautiful, and we feel incredibly fortunate that they are our new vet! Even if Midnight would rather hide in the sink when we get there. :)

Hello, my name is Odysseus. My human found me at a gas station a little over a month ago. Imagine her heartbreak when they told her that I am heartworm positive! After calling around to different vets, I told mom that I would only be seen at Caremore. It’s where the happy dogs go. Every time I come, I do not get discriminated for my breed. I am told how handsome I am. I only have the 10/10 best treatment here at Caremore. I told mom I won’t be going to any other vet. And, in a few months, I’ll be heartworm free! Mom keeps saying that, “Caremore saved her dogs life.” But in reality, I’m just a sleeeepy Pitt bull/GSP mix. I don’t even know anything is wrong with me. Take your pets to Caremore. I always wag my tail coming through the door. I love all the attention I get from staff. Bless Caremore! I don’t ever wait. Ever. It’s always so fast. It’s half the cost of any other vet with twice the quality in their treatments!

This vet is great except for a few minor details.. We have always brought our animals here, but will change soon. There is one receptionist or worker named Megan that is VERY rude. She makes the entire experience unpleasant. Even when I call, she is rude. Just a simple request to fax previous records to a different vet and she is was unprofessional. I had to call 3 times to get them faxed. If you don't like rudeness, don't go here.

My first experience with caremore was using them for foster dogs. I loved their office, how patient and kind they were - so much that I switched my 3 personal dogs to their office. My previous vet acted like I was an inconvenience to have 3 dogs at once at the vet. Caremore is so sweet, patient, helps me check out even offer to hold their leashes while I sign papers or pay. They even gave me a multi dog discount!! I love caremore.

Care More has provided care for our rescue's foster dogs for years ... most dogs are freshly pulled from the shelter, with no known history and multiple health issues. Dr Gross and his staff have provided the highest quality care for all! One very early morning, I arrived with a dying kitten thinking the only solution was to have him humanely euthanized... but Dr Gross opened the door himself (they weren't yet open) and told me to leave the kitten and he'd see what he could do. Sure enough... the kitty had low blood sugar and they were able to bring him back from death's door! That's just one example of the awesome care our fosters get with Care More Animal Hospital!

We've been taking our dogs to Dr. Gross at Care More Animal Hospital for a few years now and we LOVE THIS CLINIC! We found them after having a rather disturbing experience with Evans Animal Hospital. We first went to Dr. Gross for a second opinion after someone at Evans Animal hospital gave us a downright ridiculous "diagnosis" . Our female lab had a small mammary cyst and someone at Evans Animal hospital visually inspected it and then "diagnosed" it as "breast cancer that could swell to grapefruit size in a couple weeks." This individual then proceeded to inform us that it needed to but surgically removed and she needed to be spayed immediately for the pretty price of $600-$700! Being medically minded people, my husband and I both know very well that you can't diagnose cancer of any kind simply by looking at it and palpating it. So, we went to see Dr. Gross. He confirmed our benign cyst theory and spent a considerable amount of time explaining and discussing the current research on the topic. He was thoughtful, very knowledgeable, clearly up-to-date with current research and did not jump to potentially profitable conclusions. We've been going to him ever since. The whole clinic is so friendly and helpful. They also have very reasonable rates and have fit us in on short notice several times. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants an honest, thoughtful approach to the care of their animals.

Dr. Gross has been absolutely awesome to my dog Oso and is a truly caring professional. Whenever he greets his patients he acts as if they're his own pets. This is something you almost never see with Doctors and Vets these days! Not only are the costs reasonable, but when I needed to go back to the clinic after the first treatment didn't work for Oso's skin infection, they only charged me for additional medication which was very reasonably priced. They could've nickle and dimed us for a million "visit" and "examination" fees like other places, but they didn't. Thank you all for being awesome and for taking care of our puppy. Care more is an amazing clinic. We went on July 29th. My dog had been limping for a few days. They were Professional and very caring. It didnt take long for us to get put in a room and didnt take long to get seen. In addition, their prices are beyond reasonable and they are literally 5 minutes from us. I highly recommend them. We have visited the vet more than I would have liked but they have always been great. We found out our dog needed surgery right before we moved to GA and our vet recommended to find an AAHA vet. We ended up at Care More and performed the surgery. It was half the cost of our previous vet. My dog has had to be seen for allergies. And we were able to bring him right in when he strained his back. We drive 25 minutes from our house and pass several other vets because of the great care we have received here. They even have some toys to keep kids entertained. The only negative for us is that they have cats roaming in the waiting area and our dog is very reactive to cats.

After hearing the sales pitch that there was nothing left but exploratory surgery, I agreed, only to arrive and find my sweet dog, spilt from one end to the other and in horrible pain. The story is too horrible to describe in detail. She passed in the night from what I later found out could have been handled by a blood test instead of surgery! Bast*rd!!

I took my guniea pig to this place due to her having an URI, I must admit the staff and MD were friendly and they did the job of assessing my guinea pig but the MD misdiagnosed her, I told him that it was more than likely she had an URI but the MD told me it was conjunctivitis, well needless to say Suzie died 2 days ago of an URI, even though the staff was friendly I will not be taking any of my other animals there

I have noticed some negative feedback by a few reviewers, but I challenge you to find any animal hospital that has a substantial number of reviews and does not have at least some negative feedback... you simply can't please all the people all of the time. What I do know is that my dad was taking our animals to see Dr. Gross when I was 15 and I have been taking my animals to him on and off ever since; I am now 51. The only reason I have not consistently taken them to him is because I now live a fair distance from where he practices, however, anytime I have any problems where I am really concerned for the animal, I make the drive to see Dr. Gross... He is a really good veterinarian and, more than that, a really good person!

I went to another clinic owned by Dr.Gross when I lived in Augusta in 1991, and in times of dire need (not really trusting the care my fur babies were receiving 3 counties away), I have made the drive to his "new" clinic in Martinez when needed. I am totally confounded by the negative reviews I have read here. The only way I can begin to understand the negative reviews, is that it is traumatic enough to have a sick pet, and the financial burden only makes emotions run amuck. Dr. Gross is top notch, period. And you can rest assured, that any vet that he has on board is of the highest caliber. Yes, I get my feathers ruffled when I don't see the vet, especially when it is something serious...However, I know that the techs are NOT practicing Veterinary medicine. They take them to the back to be seen by a vet when they are very busy. Vets are medical Dr.'s. They have paid premium dollars to get their training, just as "people" doctors do. If vets charged what they are worthy of, very few people could afford a pet. I haven't had any new pets since my husband died, and have recently adopted 2 rescues. I was concerned about the level of care I was getting, so I made the hour drive to Care More. It is a busy clinic because the CARE is outstanding. I will continue to drive from McDuffie County to Care More as long as I have fur babies. Dr. Gross has saved several of my babies over the years, everything from poisoning to serious infections. He is also a true master of animal husbandry, he will not take your money just because you want to keep trying. If it is time to help an animal to stop suffering, he will let you know. You simply cannot get better veterinary care.

Dr. Emily is the absolute best. She cares deeply for the well-being of your beloved pet and has helped my family and I tremendously getting our 7 yr old pit (who has a heart murmur) the best care. Words can never express my gratitude. The other staff members are also very kind and welcoming. A well deserved 5 stars!
