Horrible. The place is absolutely horrible. They don't explain anything to you and hand you a bill for $780 for a 90 minute visit where nothing but a shot was given to my dog. I seriously felt like I was in my worst nightmare. I left feeling totally unsure of my dogs condition. The lobby is dead silent and the only thing you hear is a click ticking and animals crying...and the staff is just as cold. The vet gave me 1 scenario for my dog and it was worst case, she totally freeked me out and didn't do anything but try to get be to leave my dog there so she could charge me more money. I took him home and to his vet the next morning...$61 and a pill for his issue and a vet telling me my dog us going to be fine, and I was out the door. This is the LAST place you want to be in the middle of the night when you're probably already stressed about your pet. Unless your pet is literally on it's last leg....don't even think about going to this hell hole. They should be ashamed of themselves trying to inflate a $315 bill to $781. Everything about it was awful and a 1 star review is 2 stars too many.

Hello, ...and thank you for following up about Oreo. I picked him up today from his regular vet and we believe he is on the mend. I can't thank Dr. Hawkins enough for helping us in our time of crisis...he really took time to explain everything in great detail...which I appreciated. I also, thought the staff there was great as I sat crying my eyes out in the waiting room. I appreciate everything everyone did for Oreo and me during our emergency. Thank you! Oreo and Beverly

I was very impressed with the competent, compassionate care my dog received and my expectations were high since I am also a veterinarian. Please keep 2 points in mind when reading reviews: 1. Veterinary care, especially emergency care, is expensive. If you find a cheap emergency clinic (I certainly haven't heard of one), be skeptical . . . very skeptical 2. Promises cannot be made in medicine (human or animal). Every case is different, some go smoothly, some do not. No matter how much effort is put into saving a pet, sometimes it is not enough. It's tough for everyone, your vet included. I hope I never need their services again but I would bring any of my pets there in a heartbeat.

I brought my dog in around midnight on a Friday last week after I tripped and fell on top of her. She's a small dog (10 pounds) and this has always been one of my biggest fears. She was beginning to go into shock when she was admitted and I was terrified she was going to die. She had a lot of internal bleeding in her stomach and her body temperature dropped as low as 95. Every staff member I spoke to was kind and understanding and all the doctors and techs took wonderful care of her. They were thorough in checking everything and making sure she was stable before sending her home. I was worried sick and calling three times a day to check on her and wanting to come visit her every day. I was never made to feel like i was bothering or inconveniencing anyone. The price was expensive ($2500), but it's emergency care and was around what I expected for fluids, pain meds, ultrasounds, xrays, and constant monitoring of bloodwork. I didn't feel like i was charged unnecessarily for anything. I didn't have any money saved up for an emergency like this, but I was able to apply and get approved for carecredit before leaving the hospital. Thank you for taking such good care of Treasure. I think you saved her life, and i am so grateful.

Much thanks to Dr. Byron Hawkins, Neesha, and team for their competent, compassionate and caring treatment of our sweet 13 year old Lab, Lily. We walked in scared and upset, and were quickly calmed by Dr. Hawkins' knowledge and demeanor. As a people doctor and people nurse couple, we knew relatively what was going on, but Dr. Hawkins took his time to take us through every step of evaluation and treatment. We are so grateful to have the Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton available when our own veterinarian can't be there and for emergencies like we just had. Additionally, by the time we arrived at our own veterinarian for follow-up care the next morning, the office already had Lily's records from the night before and had spoken with Dr. Hawkins. This type of care coordination is exceptional! Today, Lily is resting comfortably in her pet bed and we have this team to thank for it. Dan and Cindy

We took our precious, Chocolate Lab, Princess in on the afternoon of Saturday 12/20 because she was vomiting repeatedly and thought she might have a blockage in your intestines, stomach, something! We were just worried sick about her because she was so lethargic and very unlike herself. Dr. Hawkins was able to very quickly determine there was in fact a blockage and by Saturday evening he had operated on her and removed the washcloth she had eaten! (yes, washcloth, Labs eat the strangest things I guess). Dr. Hawkins, Diane and Chris were absolutely wonderful to us and to Princess. We received very fast and very reliable care. Dr. Hawkins took the time to explain what he saw and what he wanted to try before opting for surgery. Diane is an angel and has the most wonderful calming demeanor and even though I was so scared about my Princess, she and Dr. Hawkins made me feel like everything was going to be ok and IT WAS!! Princess was home the next day and the best Christmas gift ever was having her at home and feeling so much better! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Dr. Hawkins, Diane, Chris & all the staff at Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton. You took great care of my Chocolate Bunny Princess "Baby Girl" and for that I will be forever grateful!

worst service ever. I will never come back here. we arrived with a simple case of my friend's dog stomach ache and procrastinated the service for 3 hours. when the dr.Fitzgerald final decided to gave us attention was to ask what happens with the dog instead to tell us that the procedure was ok. All this time the front desk was lying and saying for 3 hours that the treatment was applied when it wasn't. I want to gave negative score. .!!!!

This past January I brought in my kitty, Fred, who was blocked. (He couldn't urinate.) He was there from Thursday night thru Sunday being treated. Dr. Hawkins, Dr. Owens, and Dr. Fitzgerald all had a hand in treating Fred. All the Dr's and the entire nursing staff were very compassionate and I know Fred received the best care possible. Unfortunately emergencies happen and although I hope to not visit them often, I know where I will be taking all my pets in an emergency!

I took my dog here after he was bit severely on his leg by a neighbors dog. My neighbor came with to assume some of the cost because she felt awful. They took my dog back said they would take vitals and get back with us. We waited in the lobby for over an hour to have the doctor call us back to a room that smelled of dogs anal glands, I mentioned the smell and the tech moved us to a room next door. The vet came into the room and explained that he would need sedation and stitched (which we obviously knew would be the case) and then instructed us that it would be a few hours and I should go home to wait for the call he would be ready. I was annoyed that they hadn't taken action to tend to my dog sooner. We were then sent to the desk to pay the charges (which I felt were exorbitant, even for an emergency clinic). I wasn't happy that the doctor didn't review the charges with us in the exam room and explain what they were for. Instead I had to discuss them with the receptionist who had to continuously go back to ask the vet questions. At any rate, I was called three hours later to pick up my dog. When they walked him out his stitches were not covered and his leg was actively bleeding and not even properly cleaned. I said something to the vet tech and she said "It will be fine." I took our dog to our regular vet this morning who was baffled they didn't rap the wound in gauze, if anything else to prevent infection. Not pleased at all and I will not be taking any of my pets here again.

It’s up to you. Heed the very mixed reviews here and try and find another provider or else ignore them and take your chances. Our yellow lab got a cut between his toes that required a few stitches. It was late at night and this facility was close by. Before I give you the reasons for the two star review let me tell you the good things about this place. First, they are open after hours. Second, the place is generally clean. Third, I felt the people were kind enough and cared about our situation. Lastly, I think the care our dog received was decent and the sutures he received were professionally done. Unfortunately, I cannot get past the ridiculously high fees this place charges. Just read the other reviews. My dog received a few stitches. This is not rocket science. My kids and I have all had emergency room visits for stitches that were less than half the cost of this visit. Our total bill was $825. Many of the charges seemed exorbitant. But here are 2 of the 12 line item charges that really got me. Emergency Office Visit $100 - just to step in the door? There are $725 in other charges, so what is this? Bandage, small light $65.53 - are you kidding me. This was the typical light gauze bandage wrapped around his foot. These places take advantage of the fact that your regular vet is not open and also know that many of us will do anything for our sick pet. There are other after-hours options around this big city. If your pet is not having a dire emergency I suggest you drive another 20 minutes and save yourself hundreds of dollars.

It is Thanksgiving Day, so I called first to ensure they were open. The receptionist was rude on the phone. I still brought my dog there because I was desperate. Upon entering, the receptionist rudely told us to grab a clipboard and stay on one side of the waiting room. When I asked for a pen to complete the paperwork, the receptionist threw it instead of just handing it to me as I was walking towards her. I asked if she was serious, and she didn’t respond. I immediately walked out with my sick dog. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service in my entire life. I refuse to put my dog under their care.

Suddenly one night my darling dog Molly couldn't stand on her hind legs. She literally went from running that afternoon to being unable to support herself that night. Her front legs seemed okay though. I took her to AEC on Mansell Rd. They would not allow me with her during the exam and they decided she must have ingested some poison or toxin. I insisted that she never eats anything (she's 10 years old) other than what I give her. We live in a townhouse so she is never even alone in the yard. She never even chewed on anything other than her toys as a puppy. But Dr. Hawkins was certain she needed to be given charcoal and spend the night throwing up and on an IV. Still insisting there was a poison in her system her blood work came back completely normal that night. The next morning I picked her up and she still could support her back legs. I took her to my regular vet, Johns Creek Vet where, within 5 minutes of a physical exam, my doctor determined that she had swelling on her spine due to mild arthritis. This was confirmed 10 minutes later with an x-ray. My dog was tortured with heaving and throwing up and completely wrongly misdiagnosed by Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton and Dr. Hawkins. And I was handed a bill for $769.30. Never take your beloved pet here. They don't have a clue what the Hippocratic Oath is.

Absolutely spectacular care and wonderful bedside manner of all involved in my Siberian Husky, Tru’s, sudden onset of an ear infection. From Janet at the front desk, to Rachel the tech, to the incredibly personable, Dr. Jerry Fitzgerald, I could not be more pleased. Thank you.

Worst ever. I had to transfer my kitten to here because my vet didn't have someone overnight on the weekends. I was told it would be a simple transfer. Not only was the receptionist completely incompetent and it was like talking to a wall, it was over an hour to even see the doctor myself. My kitten didn't need blood tests, anesthesia, or to be reassessed because he had had that done less than twelve hours prior. All he needed was to be monitored on his IV for hia pancreantitus. They did all that anyways, charging us for what my kitten didn't need and the receptionist gave me a really difficult time. Not only that I watched as a woman came in to ask for help getting her dog out of the car and the receptionist just looks at the dog and says "he looks like he can walk fine to me" and the dog had been attacked and couldn't walk. Never got the chance to speak to the doctor as I left and they called almost right as I got back 30 minutes later. Never going back there again for anything

My 85 y/o mother-in-law took her 14 year old dog here to be euthanized. We fill out their form and clearly state EUTHANIZATION. They take the dog away to the back almost immediately ... The doctor comes out and starts going over a full blow assessment to include recommending an MRI for a brain tumor and --- well I cut in and said sir, no one here is in the mind of trying to save the dog. It's 14 years old and is clearly days away from dying of it's own accord. We're here for the euthanasia services to save it from suffering the final ends. Any viable operation would clearly see that the dog is beyond saving and further see that it is clearly marked "Euthanize" at the top of his work order form... So they charge my mother-in-law and additional $100 for seeing the "doctor" - I feel they took advantage of a poor elderly woman who was clearly in distress. Mostly I'm upset that the staff that we talked to on the phone said that it would be $85 + 45 ($130) and they managed to ponzi almost double that.

My dog had bone stuck on jaw. Came in and they saw my dog immediately. They had removed the bone and we were in and out of the AEC in less than 30 minutes. Diane N. and Dr. Hawkins were wonderful. Highly recommend.

I was shocked at how bad my experience was and how poor the customer service was. I came in with a friend's cat that needed IV fluids and antibiotics. Their estimate was about $600, but I was told by the receptionist that this is just an estimate and they are usually high and the last person had a $120 credit back when they actually picked up their pet. I also asked that I be called if any additional charges were added so that I could approve them. They said they would do so. I picked her up later and I had to pay another $140 (no one had called me by the way for authorization) and the receptionist at time of pick up had a serious attitude problem. No one told me the results of the tests, the status of the cat or the fact that the cat needed to go to my primary care vet after I picked her up. Poor service, Poor communication, Rude Staff (the second receptionist, not the first one), and costs are much higher than other emergency vets in the area. They also did not tell me that they were faxing the paperwork to my vet, so there was a lot of wasted time with my explaining to them what was going on - all for not. Would not recommend! Only go here if you have no other choice. Also, I asked the rude receptionist to have a manager call me to discuss fees when they re-opened at 6pm. 3 days later and no one has. Awful!!!

My 8 year old Pekepoo was in extreme pain and I opted to take her in for care. Initially, I placed a call to the clinic and I spoke with the most courteous and professional Representative who actually listened to my concerns and she encouraged me to come in. Upon my arrival I was promptly greeted and Bailey was triaged almost instantaneously, within a few minutes the doctor came out, sat down and asked me questions, discussed her diagnosis and treatment plan. He too was AMAZING, you see for me the way you're made to feel beats everything. The doctor was so warm and knowledgeable that I asked him if he were in private practice anywhere, but he's not. However, if you're looking for a good urgent care for your pet, this place has my vote. Hopefully, Bailey won't ever require emergency care again but if she does I have them on speed dial.

I called them in a state of panic because my dog had ingested 100 grams of dark chocolate. I entered the info into an online calculator and it said that the reaction could be severe, even cause death! The woman who answered the phone immediately knew that he would be fine. She calmly walked me through the calculator again and I realized that I had inadvertently typed 100 oz, not grams. He would be fine, thank goodness. I will continue to call them for any animal emergency! I am so grateful for her wise and calm manner!

HORIFFIC!! NOT sure who hired the staff, but very rude. (Especially the older front desk lady!) Ignored me multiple times when asking how my dog was. NEVER asked for my Concent nor signature , but decided to give my dog Medication anyway. I waited an hour 1/2, for them to keep ignoring me. Even a few people that came in after me had been seen an left. I still knew NOTHING about my dog! I had my last straw, I then asked them to release my dog to me that instant. They then gave me a bill of 180$ The cops where then called! When my dog was released to me, her wound wasn’t cleaned.Tissue still dangling, an slightly bleeding. She couldn’t even stand nor sit. I asked for gauze or any sort of wrap To put around her wound. They then told me no. Long story short, DO NOT bring your fluffy loved ones to this Vet Clinic. Truly dissapointed!

On New Year's Eve our 11 year old 5lb Pekingese was suffering to breathe. It had been building for about a week, so we took the dog here. They people were very nice and even though they were busy, they worked us in and took a look at the dog. They did x-rays and blood work, etc. and came back to tell us that a portion with his heart was enlarged and that he was suffering from heart disease. They gave him a diuretic and sent him home $600 later. He got a lot worse over the next two days before we could get into the regular vet. My wife took him to the regular vet expecting to put the dog down. She called me an hour later and told me that he didn't have heart disease, that he had pneumonia. They did another x-ray to show us that the way the dog was laying in the first one distorted the view and that he would be fine. They took him off the diuretic (which apparently is terrible for you if you have pneumonia and made him worse) and put him on an antibiotic. A week later he is a new dog, you'd never know he was sick. Overall they were nice but the diagnosis was dead wrong, the medication made our dog worse, and it cost us $600. Not a great experience.

Linda Owens

Our family has had several emergency situations and was very pleased with the competent and compassionate care provided. Simply the best emergency clinic around.

Laura Temin

Heartless place. Not the kond of doctor and staff you want to ever see, especially in an emergency. It was an awful experience for me and my dog. Go elsewhere!

Sue Shaw

Terrible experience! Different doctors telling you different things. They are also unable to insert a catheter on a SEDATED cat without puncturing his urethra thus causing $500 more dollars in damage and who knows how much else, since we now have to take him to another vet to make sure he is okay after his stay at this place. DO NOT GO HERE. You will be overcharged, lied to, and they will try to convince you that their incompetence was merely an expected "complication." We will be calling the manager and will NOT be visiting this "hospital" ever again.

During the thansgiving holiday, brought in my injured pet, did not experience any rudeness. The care was professional albeit a bit expensive. When I called for a status at 5 am, I was informed that I owed $25. - I had already paid the bill provided in full. That was a tad disconcerting. Again though, the care and treatment of my pet was excellent.

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience at this location. I took my dog here because he was throwing up and had bloody stool. The staff has a cold disposition from the old lady at the front desk joking about the pit bull crying(he was hit by a car) I believe her exact worlds where “if he’s crying we know he’s alive.” To the Doctor given me a 1700 quote on what MAYBE wrong with my puppy before they even did X-rays. I did not feel they cared about my puppy, but they did care about the money. After doing X-rays they stated he need surgery ASAP because something was stuck in his intestines (but could not tell me what it was or where it was exactly ). I refused and asked for him to be released so I can take him to his vet in the morning. They agreed but only after telling me if he dies(which he probably would per the old lady) they are not responsible. I took him to his vet the next morning and he was diagnosed with an ulcer that was bleeding causing the symptoms above. They treated him for dehydration(because of the vomiting) and gave him meds for the ulcer. He was released after a few hours. Please save yourself the headache, and the money most expensive unhelpful visit ever.

I respect the staff and their combined experience. They are professional, compassionate and honest. I hate having to come here for obvious reasons, but I also am relieved knowing they are the best and they give the best care!

Having had 3 cats, we have been to AECNF more times than most. One is a donor cat for our other kidney transplant cat. He had emergency surgery for swallowing a construction staple. The staff was excellent in all aspects. BooBoo did well without complications and came home. Our kidney transplant cat, Goosie, had numerous challenges and because of her situation it sometimes required collaboration with the transplant unit. They were very willing to have conversations with the unit to insure her kidney would be ok. The Doctors and staff at AECNF who contributed in her care could not have given more time and energy every time we had to go there. They always were able to treat the most unusual emergency situations that I'm sure most ER vets have never handled. They were always there for us in making sure this little gal got the best possible care. We had a great team working with us. We could not have handled everything that was thrown at us because of the transplant without Animal Emergency Center of North Fulton. I tell all my friends and family to go there if they ever need ER care. Thoughtful, talented, caring -- A great practice - a great service.

Took both my dogs here after they were bitten by a copperhead. The staff was very friendly and they were prompt in diagnosing the problem and getting the needed treatment started. The doctor and the nursing staff were always happy to answer questions, both in person and over the phone. Dr. Spivey was upbeat, but also straightforward and honest about the risks we were facing with the dogs and what treatment plans were available to us. She over-estimated the cost, which was great because when we picked the dogs up there were no surprise costs (in fact we received a refund for both dogs' treatments). The only reason I did not give them 5 stars, is that Dr. Spivey discussed the treatments of our dogs and others' in the open, instead of taking owners back to the rooms to discuss money and treatment. It wasn't a huge deal for us, but while we were there we overheard conversations about euthanasia and the different costs of treatments for a few different patients. People may be more comfortable with these discussions happening in private. Other than that, the entire experience was a good as it could be when you are worried for a pet.

Dr. Hawkins and teamed saved our 11 week old Golden’s life! On November 5th my husband and I adopted an adorable golden retriever puppy. We named her Winter. We had the best week with Winter, and over the course of the following 7 days she captured our hearts. The very next Saturday, we noticed that began to get sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy. After 24 hours of declining sickness we took Winter to the ER to see what was wrong. Dr. Hawkins confirmed the worst. Despite having her first round of vaccinations and close care, our Winter has parvovirus AND campylobacter. She was immediately admitted for hospitalization. She was hospitalized a total of 8 days at an unaffiliated clinic in the area that could see her around the clock and treat her for both Campylobacter AND Parvo. With little to no progress and a horrible prognosis we decided it may be best to bring her home and make her comfortable. THANKFULLY, we consulted with Dr. Hawkins and team of AECNF hoping to get advice on home care. We received a call a few hours later from Dr. Hawkins. He had a brand new plan to try on our baby as other vets had simply given up and prepared us for the worst... not on Dr. Hawkins watch! Fast forward 12 hours - our puppy Winter was wagging her tail, sniffing, and completely alive! We were in disbelief as we were told there was nothing left to do at other ER Clinics. We are going on 24 hours since she was seen by Dr. Hawkins team and she’s improved to the point we are FINALLY talking about bringing her home. Eating, drinking, and totally not liking her IV - which is great! (Going on day 10!) Thanks to Dr. Hawkins advice and love for our puppy, Winter has more than a fighting chance to keep living a happy, healthy life. It feels like a miracle but really this organization is knowledgeable, dedicated, and willing to fight! Thank you Dr. Hawkins & Dr. Murphy for making the live saving decisions to give our baby a second chance! We are so grateful!

This has been a very hard time for me and my family but the staff here has went above and beyond to help us feel better as well as our baby coco. Thank you guys so much I know she is in good hands and she will pull through this with y'all s help. From my family to your staff big thanks to all good work

Cared more about the money than my cat.

Laura Maggioli

My experience with all the doctors and staff was wonderful. They were always available to take my call, always knew her status, and were honest with me about cost. My dog had a obstruction over the New Years holiday and they advised I see my vet if the obstruction did not move within 24 hours. They took xrays and handed them to me on a CD and shared with my vet the following Saturday where surgery was required to remove obstruction. I then took my dog back to the center for observation post surgery and they immediately knew there was complications and advised me my dog was very sick and needed plasma transfusions ASAP. I was in shock but put 100% of my trust in these doctors and after 6 transfusion over 4 days and constantly checking clotting and liver values my dog pulled through. Without the quick response time and constant care my dog would not have made it. My only wish is that they would be open 24/7 so I would not have had to move my dog from their care back to my vet but the communication between Doctors was excellent which reassured me. Thanks so much for all you did for Maggie May!

Natalie Scott

I had to bring my cat in to be seen today. This was my first time coming to this location, and I can't say enough good things about the team here. Unfortunately I had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to my cat of 10 years, but everyone there did all they could to make this decision and process as easy as it possibly could be. It was very evident that they truly care about their jobs and the animals and parents that come in. If ever in need of emergency care, I would highly recommend coming here.

Scott Rawlins

One of my dogs was recently diagnosed with kidney failure, spinal stenosis and possible brain tumor from my vet. She had a major seizure during the day that left her unable to really move. Fast forward to almost midnight that same night and she had another, pretty major seizure. She's almost 14 yrs old and I made the tough decision that it was time. We brought her in and the staff and vets were sympathetic to our needs. My 17 yr old daughter was with me and this was a traumatic experience for her. They were caring. I asked if they could keep her body for a couple of days so that could make the necessary arrangements. They did, but said that I would need to pay a deposit of some sort because some people don't come back for their pets. Who does that?! The only reason for the 4 stars is that there was some confusion between the vet and office manager when completing the necessary paperwork. This caused my daughter and I some waiting time in the front area. Not really I what I wanted after losing our beloved family member.

My roommate brought my dog there in Thursday morning she had a stroke and heart disease. I called ahead of time at 7:00am and the person that answered the phone tried to talk me into waiting on a vet to open it might be cheaper because they were closing at 8. My dog was in distress and pain. I couldn't wait. I explained my roommate was handicapped and could they meet her at the door. When she got to the door the girl at the front desk saw her and got up and left and she had to ring the bell and wait. She was very unprofessional and would never recommend them to anyone.

Gianine Lopez

If you can't financially afford to pay 100% of the bill, DO NOT GO HERE! They are unsympathetic and will send you home to let your pet die!!!! Sick and greedy!!! Took my 500 and wouldn't settle for a payment plan to get my dog through the night!! Evil and disgusting!!!

Paul Klein

Dr. Hawkins and his team are THE VERY BEST!!! You could not ask for a more qualified and caring group of people. If your pet is in need of urgent attention, then this is the place to go!

Tanner Tucker

Staff was caring and patient with our questions. However, our experience was greatly enhanced by the office manager/receptionist, Janet (middle-aged , blonde). Janet was not only knowledgeable and patient, but well organized and very professional. Advice to management: clone her. If I had a better idea of the market price for their services, it may affect my review.I don't understand why a 20 hour stay cost as much as the surgery to remove a blockage - that is my own ignorance. I would also ask if Janet is on-duty because from among the other admin staff, Janet seems to be the best equipped to serve you and your pet.

Oweleo Titi

I should've gotten her name but I didn't. An angel answered the phone at 9:45pm on Saturday night. She was so helpful. She told me how to take my dogs pulse. She looked up resources for me on the internet. I didn't have a visit but I have 3 dogs and I know a good Vet when I see it. This is good place. I can tell.

Kristen Capovilla

Please don’t go here guys. Their prices are ASTRONOMICAL. Not only did we sit there for four hours without finding out exactly what was wrong with our dog but we were charged nearly 800 dollars for an X-ray, office visit, iv and Pepcid ac. I’m a nurse and that’s double what we charge in a hospital setting! I was so upset over the cost I went home and looked at my bill from another emergency vet I had gone to in the area just six months before. Two x rays, iv, anesthesia, SURGERY on a leg, a full leg cast, and all my take home meds for 1100. These people were nice enough but they’re ripping off the community their serving. Go elsewhere.

mina

Place is great! We were afraid our dog had a snake bite. With in maybe 10 minuets (mind you it was mermorial day) they took him in and 10 minuets later they confirmed he didn’t have a snake bite. The staff was amazing! We did have a wait after because they wanted to see our dog more but the wait was because there were other critical patients. I would definitely recommend this place. And the fact this place was open on Memorial Day when all the other places were closed is awesome!

Max Castle

This place has been amazing right from the very beginning. They took care of our pup right away! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and helped put me and my pups anxieties to rest! From Diane at the front desk to Angela an Kim who took my baby into the treatment area; amazing care! Not to mention Dr. Fitzgerald! I trust them 100% Thank you so much for all that you do!

Kathy Jaques

My husband and I brought our elderly dog, Abby, to your clinic last Saturday. I wanted to reach out to thank you for providing such a dignified way to say good-bye to our precious friend, for your empathy and words of encouragement as we sobbed and grieved and for your reassurance that we were doing the right thing. You may never have any idea how important that quilt was to me to see as we settled in for final moments. Such a small thing - but provided warmth and love at the exact moment my heart needed it. The woman at the front desk was an absolute angel - affirming every choice and absorbing my tears with her warmth (I'm so sorry that I don't know your name). And the vet was clear, kind and warm to Abby - making her parting so peaceful although so very sad for us. Thank you for being wonderful human beings.

Bright idea...(insert sarcasm) I gave my dog, Selig a soup bone for Christmas. After devouring the marrow it was a perfect fit around his lower jaw and stuck behind his canines. He was thrashing about trying to get it off with blood everywhere. I was trying to hold his 95 lbs from doing more damage. On the 45 minute trip he calmed down & I was able to ice the jaw. We were met by Chris, who was extremely nice & knew all the right things to say. He took Selig in the back. We were told both Drs were in surgery so we knew there would be a wait. Of course when one of your family members is at the emergency vet your mind races...sedation, cutting the bone off, what kind of damage... Five minutes later Chris walks out with Selig MINUS the bone! I was so elated I gave Chris a hug. He was able to slip the bone off!! No sedation, no cutting...and my Christmas present...no charge! Thank you Chris and Animal Emergency of North Fulton
