Dr. Otte and all of the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They get us in quickly and answer all of our questions. I feel like our greys are in the best hands. Love the Pet ID cards they send out after yearly checkup too!

My Greybies love this place. The Drs speak to the animals like Doolittle, humans just pay the bill. Not close to where we live, but specialize in Greyhound care. Friendly staff Good hours Highly recommend

Ive been coming here for years with various pets. The staff is always thoughtful and very kind. Wait times are always reasonable, if at all! Theres no real such thing as a cheap Vet. But their prices are always comparable and for the service and peace of mind they provide im happy to do business with them! Ill be continuing my business with them for the foreseeable future.

THIS PLACE IS WORTH THE DRIVE The doctor and staff are the most compassionate and caring team I have ever met. I was there for an emergency for my beloved furry kitten. I was delighted when I saw how the staff interacted with their other furry patients, making them at ease and comfortable. The vet took her time to talk and listen to me than she carefully explained my options. Even if you do not live close THIS PLACE IS WORTH THE DRIVE, I live in Mandarin, there are vets all around me in less than 5 minutes, but for me, the drive is worth the kindness and highly competent care that Willowdale provides. The waiting room is inviting and their prices are more than reasonable...an Emergency visit that cost me $100 on a Saturday for EVERYTHING is simply amazing. Minnie-Meows is doing GREAT!!! I trust Dr Spicer completely with my kitties. She has given loving and thorough care to: my kitty with eye and kidney issues who made it to 20 years, a kitty with mouth cancer, regular vet service to all, a prediabetic kitty and now a special boy with a tail pull injury. She is thorough with examination, reads their history, explains things so I can understand, gives choices and options, understands economic decisions, and empathizes with the sometimes brutal decisions we animal caretakers have to make. And she loves cats! Staff is always great, wait time is very short.

Very attentive to needs of pets and owners. Had to have a dog of 17 yrs euthanized and changed clinic to accomplish this difficult task. Nearby Pet clinic required a physical $$ prior to putting my dear boy down. Willowdale was a great place and is my new clinic for my other 2 dogs.

If you love your pet do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to bring them as this place does not care about animals at all. Brought my cat over to Willowdale which is located across the street from my residence in Pace Island. Advised the lady who came to the front desk that it was an emergency and he was extremely sick. Received the response "We can't take him right now maybe you should try such and such place". Never once even inquired about the state of my pet when she turned and walked away. I have been a pet owner for 30 years and in other places I have lived have always had positive experiences with Veterinary Centers even in cases where I have had to put animals to sleep due to illness. If you love your pet do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to bring them as this place does not care about animals at all. This place is wonderful. Had a bit of an emergency with my dog, and they were the only local vet who could get me in on a weekend, despite my dog not being a client. They were prompt and kind, and very very personable and friendly with my dog. Dr. Gimble was patient and careful with him while she examined him and her explanation made me feel a lot better. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and the total was not expensive for what ended up being a visit and two meds. This will be my go to for all my vet needs from here on out.

Willowdale is a place that my pups have ALWAYS been excited to go. Over 20 years ago, we started taking our dogs to Dr. otte and now we share with Dr Gimball!! Why? Because Chevy and Missy love them both!!! These Veterinarians are the most compassionate, genuine and trustworthy friends to our babies. Chevy and Missy's needs are always on the top of their list. They never rush the visit. They play and talk to them....they feel at home, their. Their puppy faces show utter excitement when they get out of the vehicle and smell where they are. If you want a good vet for your babies, no doubt, hands down....take them to Willowdale. ;)

Everyone that works here is amazing! We’ve been bringing our pets here for over 20 years and we’ve never been disappointed. It is great they open for a few hours on Saturdays for those of us who work Mon-Friday. I even had an emergency visit on a Saturday and they got us right in. Just knowing they are able to do that definitely gives us peace of mind our fur-babies are in good hands!

Beware of Willowdale. Be wary indeed. I was refused time sensitive care for my dog on a Wednesday at 11:59 am. I was told that they had "a meeting". I was informed that all of the Vets were absent, which was a blatant lie. I was told to go to another clinic, in downtown Jacksonville. I have taken my animal companions to Willowdale for many years now, and have always paid my bills upon completion of services. The original owner/Vet Dr. Jean Otte, is an exceptional, competent and compassionate professional who will always go above and beyond to take care of the animals entrusted into her care. Sadly, ownership-and policies have changed. Lying to my face and refusing my dog care is not the way to retain my trust. Henceforth I will schedule my appointments only with Dr Otte, and when she departs Willowdale I will find another Vet Clinic/Hospital. My animals are too important to me to rely upon untrustworthy folk.

My new pup Goose had his first appointment with Dr. Otte and it went so well. I got there early because I didn’t know if we would need to do paperwork and we were brought straight back to a room. The staff was so welcoming and sweet to my new baby boy. The doctor was very informative about training and food and what not, but also very specific about the information for his breed. I was so happy with this visit and I can’t wait for all of his healthcare needs to be addressed here in the future!
