I moved to the Orlando area 2 years ago and have bounced between vets since then, never totally jazzed with my experience with any particular practice. Wrangling 2 cats into carriers and transporting them to the vet is never a great experience and, needless to say, causes a ridiculous amount of stress. That being said, I have become very picky about where I take my cats for vet care. Waterford Lakes AH was recommended to me by a coworker and, while it was well out of my way, I decided to give it a shot. I am so happy that I did. I brought Rascal & Gremlin to see Dr. Reinhardt and can say with confidence that I have finally found our permanent vet in Orlando. Dr. Reinhardt and his team were outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure that Rascal & Gremlin were comfortable, thoroughly examined, and well taken care of. Dr. Reinhardt was on time, welcoming, and took the time to answer every single question I had. I am truly confident in his ability as a professional, and will most definitely be taking Rascal & Gremlin to Waterford Lakes in the future. 100% recommend.

I called in the morning as a new client, because my cat was pulling out her fur. They saw me within 15 minutes of getting to the office. The gals in the front office could not have been kinder or any more understanding. The Doctor was great with my cat. The cat was in pain, and the Doctor was so gentle with her. The Vet Tech, Barbara was amazing with the cat. They were busy and had lots of animals coming in, but they took the time to address my concerns. I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this animal hospital.

I also appreciate being able to checkout while still in the exam room so that I don't have to worry about my protective dog while attempting to pay in a small space with other pets, and so that the front desk staff are available to check in other customers and answer the telephone (a big reason I switched from my last vet).

I have been taking my 2 adorable dogs in this facility for 8 years. So far, they do great job of taking care of them. Their service is great. Doctors and staffs are friendly and welcoming. They do free nail trim when you take them in for yearly vaccination or any procedure. The last only thing i could complain if i do is their charges. i think most animal hospital charge so much.Overall, they are still the best in pet care around the area and Recommended!

I took my cat after he was injured in a fight., in his leg, Dr Chris saw him, and even I asked if an RX would be needed, he adviced against since the examination was enough to determine the RX was not needed. My cat was sent home with an analgesic , the staff called. 2 days after to know how he was doing, my cat, my cat is almost recovered just in time when meds are over.

Staff is always very friendly and are great about talking through which products work best for your pet and at the right price. I really appreciated that they took the time to explain each flea/heartworm medications they carry and they were willing to tell me that the $50 cheaper one was actually better for my puppy. On this specific visit, they were short staffed due to a dog bite, though the wait was a little longer than usual, they were still very friendly and made sure my puppy got the attention she deserved. :) 10/10 recommend

I love Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I have used them as my Vet for a few years now, but this was the first time I used their Groomer services. Two years ago I used a different groomer who damaged my dog's fur so bad that it took this long to grow back in right. I was so happy with the results yesterday with the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital Groomer! I explained what I was hoping to have done and she sent me a picture when she was done to make sure I was happy before I came to pick up my dog. She was perfect! I won't use anyone else!!

We brought our puppy there for a second opinion as he was having GI issues for 6 weeks that have been refractory to everything our other vet had tried. From the moment I arrived the staff at the front desk were very polite and friendly. The Tech that took the history was very thorough so when Dr. Lewandowski came in she was well informed of the problem. She did a thorough exam and although I didn't think that was necessary, as a physician i understood why she did it. She had insight as to his problem that we had not heard previously. Her plan was well thought out. They did another stool sample and called us with the results promptly. It was positive. We had just had a stool sample analyzed 2 days before which was negative. Overall an excellent experience. I would recommend this animal clinic and Dr. Lewandowski without hesitation. I'm seriously thinking now of changing veterinarian clinics as this experience was so terrific.

I've been taking my dogs here for a little over 2 years and always had a positive experience with the front desk, vet techs, and veterinarians. I do want to give a BIG shout out to Dr. Donnelly though. We never had a bad experience with the other doctors but she is extremely caring and thorough on her examinations. She made some of our toughest times with our terminal dog much better under her care. She always make sure we understand what is happening and is understanding of our concerns. I have been to other Vets over the years and can honestly say the team here truly cares about your pet's wellbeing.

My mischievous 8 month old pitty mix chewed up something very harmful. I called a vet close to me but they couldn't see him and suggested a larger clinic that may have more staff available. I looked up who else was close with good ratings and I'm oh so glad i brought him to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital! The staff answered all my questions, validated my concerns, took my pup in promptly, and displayed genuine compassion and concern. Dr Donnelly was amazing and the office made a follow up call to check on my pup.

It only took us around 30 minutes to be called, nurse questions n fill paperwork, Dr review, explanation, first time/visit, first vaccination n test, Dr's consultation n set next appointments. 1. Dr. Blake is absolutely phenomenal! We take our small chihuahua to him and he never tries to sell us medications or procedures we don't need! He shoots us straight and will even call afterwards just to check in on Noel. I would 100% recommend paying him a visit. 2. Our other dog is a larger rescue who is terrified of the vet, we see another vet at Waterford Lakes for him. The situation with him is not ideal because I do not see any friendliness or action taken to help make him comfortable or calm down. He is a big baby but just terrified of the vet from his former situations.

After so many positive reviews, we felt comfortable boarding our cat here while visiting my parents. However, we had a very bad experience. Upon dropping her off, they insisted she needed a fecal exam, although the paperwork from our vet clearly listed that she was not due until the end of February. We were leaving the next morning and had no other option but to let them do it. We do not hear a thing from them until 5-6 days later when they call us to tell us she has fleas and tested positive for tapeworm. Why did it take this long to get fecal exam results when it should be done in minutes? Our cat is on Revolution, a great flea preventative, and is strictly indoors so it seems suspect that she would get or come into contact with fleas. She also showed absolutely no signs of fleas/tapeworm before dropping her off. Either they made this up to hike our bill up, or she came into contact with fleas while boarding. Their "treatment" was a dose of Revolution which as I stated, she is already on and received her last dose two weeks prior to boarding. Additionally, I packed one extra serving of food for her, neatly divided into ziplock bags by serving along with a note with clear feeding instructions. However, upon picking her up, there were three baggies of food remaining, so it seems as if she missed two meals throughout her stay. We also were able to see the room where the cats are kept and the sun shines directly into the cages along one wall- it looks like it would be very hot and uncomfortable. We would advise anyone to go elsewhere for boarding.

The technician and secretary were friendly and helpful. The vet was awesome. He explained a lot to us, answered all our questions fully, and gave us antibiotics. Everything was explained well. This was one of my most positive vet experiences. The price was reasonable too. I highly recommend this place.

I love Dr. Blake. He is caring and never makes you feel rushed. But, most importantly, he is so knowledgeable and has many years of experience. He explains everything in great detail and takes the time to listen and answer all of my questions. As with most pet owners, my dog is EXTREMELY important to me and having a great veterinarian who I can count upon to always do the right thing is my highest priority. He always calls me with test results the next day and he shows me the X-rays on the exam room computer as he explains his interpretation. Also, very important is the fact that WLAH makes sure that ALL X-rays are also read by a veterinary radiologist. To me, having faith in my dog's veterinarian is as important as having full trust in my own physician.

We have been taking our dogs to this facility for several years without any incidents. For that reason, we decided to board our dogs with them, for a week, while we took a trip out of town. All the dogs had their examinations/required vaccinations there prior to dropping them off. Halfway through our trip, we get a call from their office saying that one of our 4 dogs has a problem with one of his eyes. We approved the examination and treatment. Upon our return to pick them, 3 out of the 4 dogs had issues. Besides the eye on the one, another had a filthy ear, and another had diarrhea. The eye issue developed into an ulcer which required surgery a week later to have it removed at our expense (over a $1000). Since all of this occurred during the time that they had care, custody, and control of our dogs, the least they could have done is pick up the tab instead of sticking it to us on top of all the money we already spent with them. We take very good care of our pets and it is a HUGE disappointment that it came to this. Needless to say, we are looking for a new veterinarian. Attached are a few photos.

I leave a 1 cause I can't leave a 0. I took my dogs and cat in for boarding on September 21st. My English Pointer dog is very excitable and was having trouble calming down. In the excitement of being taken to his boarding run he scraped his paw and it was bleeding. The tech advised us and ensured us that it was not serious. Fast forward 1 hour and we received a phone call telling us that the paw had a "puncture" and that for a vet check up, sedation, a bandage, antibiotics, pain meds, and a cone it would cost $280! Or that they could do everything but antibiotics and pain meds for $150. For something that happened in their care! Are you kidding me?! I immediately returned and picked up my pets. First off it was NOT a puncture. It was a scrape that stopped bleeding after I washed his paw with soap and water. Honestly I felt like I was being robbed! I thought I could trust these guys but obviously all they care about is money. This happened in their care! They should've done whatever possible to fix it. I think they wanted to overcharge me and at the end of the day just sedate my dog cause he was nervous. I'll never return. I'm leaving a scathingly bad review on google. I'll tell anyone and everyone never to go this vet. They're liars and thieves.

Well had to take the new pup for shots and heart worm meds. Place very clean staff also nice showed us how to keep her ears clean and trimmed up her nails since she is not street walking yet to keep them down will recommend taking your furry babies here its a Good place.

They were able to get me in the same day, and calmly figure out what was going on and what I needed to do next. I would highly recommend Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I been using them for over 10 years. When I first moved to Florida one of my dogs (German Shepherd) was considered vicious but WLAH had no issues. They handle big dogs very well. The doctors here are very good with my dogs. They listen to concerns and make recommendations, but don't push. They allow you to keep the same doctor if you choose. We also use them to board our animals. Make sure you reserve early. I have recommended WLAH to friends and co-workers. When I had to put down one of my dogs they were very sympathetic, and even sent a card. The only negative thing is we lose the blankets that we take in during boarding, but that's on us for not remembering to pick them up.

Brought my dog Sam in for limber tail. Everyone was gentle, kind, and reassuring. They we're also ok with the fact I brought my other dog with me into the exam room. Wish I knew the names of the vet and the assistant but kudos to both of you. It was evident that you cared. My dogs are literally the two loves of my life and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. Sam's limber tail is already improving and I'm resting easier. Cost was reasonable. I will definitely bring my doggies there if needed in the future.

We've been bringing our four dogs to Waterford for quite awhile now, and we love the veterinary team here. I recently brought my senior Greyhound in for her checkup, and I came in with a few concerns about her legs. The vet spent a lot of time sitting on the floor and feeling Lily's legs, moving her legs, and asking me all the questions needed. I know Lily is getting the best care (along with my other dogs), and I am so comfortable with the staff here. Everybody is very friendly, and they love the animals!

I took my husky puppy in yesterday after he was attacked by two other dogs. I called ahead to make sure I could get in and when I arrived I was greeted at the door by the woman I spoke to on the phone she was very friendly and welcoming and gentle and great with my pup. They took him right into the back and he was seen promptly. I spoke with the assistants and the doctor herself and everyone was very friendly, understanding, and they took the time to go over everything with me. My dog also seemed to of had a great experience as he was in much better spirits when we left!! Thank you so much to all the staff and doctors for everything!! I’ve been taking my dogs there for about a year and everyone has been so wonderful! I’m always greeted kindly and receive excellent service. My dogs see Dr. Reinhardt as exclusively as possible. They both love him and love going to the vet. We don’t have to go in often and I was impressed when I stopped in, about 6 months after our first visit, to pick up heartworm meds that he remembered both dogs by name and asked about them. Dr. Reinhardt has always been honest and up front about any treatments required and I have never felt pressured to have any unnecessary procedures or tests done. I plan to move to a different part of Orlando in the fall and have no intention of switching vets, no matter the commute.

Excellent animal hospital. The front staff is very kind and polite, while the waiting area is both clean and large enough in size to be comfortable for us and most importantly our pets. The Veterinarians and technicians are also very kind, helpful, and explain everything very well while also addressing any concerns we may have at the same time. We haven't done any grooming service so I cannot comment on that aspect. My only complaint is the costs may be a bit higher than some other places but this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, you may check out another place for price but come back here for service.
