My service/therapy dog Boomer has been a patient at PHVC for years and we wouldn't have it any other way. The entire staff from reception, Vet techs, to the doctors go out of their way to make visits pleasurable. We've had some challenging health issues to deal with but the kind folks at PHVC always find a way to make things better.

I cannot put into words how amazing this staff is! my baby girl was rushed into the vet about a week ago because she wasn't breathing very well. the doctors were very patient and informative. in the time we were waiting for results on her tests we were able to go be with her. while we were with her there was also another doctor there by her side comforting her the whole time. at the end we had to make the most heart wrenching decision to let our baby go, so she wouldn't suffer anymore. the doctors brought us in a private room with Shadow and let us take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. with that being the worst day of my life I can't ignore the fact that the doctors were incredible through it all. we ended up cremating here and were told we'd get her back in a week. she came back a few days after along with a card with personalized sympathies from everyone there and Shadow's inked paw print which I really wanted but never got the chance to ask. they just knew. still very hard everyday but just a huge thank you to everyone here!

Our dog, Royce, got loose and we were so lucky that a good samaritan found him and took him to this vet near our house. They could have told the good samaritan to take him to the shelter but agreed to board him for the day. We went to get him and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more caring. They called the microchip company and unfortunately they had the old owner's info on file. I would not HESITATE to bring any of our animals here in the future. I was amazed at their kindness and compassion. Thank you for all of your help and for what you did for us!

When we moved to FL in 1998 with our best guy - Rascal - a rambunctious Chihuahua, I was referred to the Vet Clinic -- then owned by Dr. Bogart. One day I go in and am told she is gone and a Dr. McGoldrick has bought her practice! Well, I was not a happy camper. So I made an appointment, not for my Rascal, but for me to interview this Dr. McGoldrick!!! That was in 2003 -- and we now consider Dr. & Mrs. McGoldrick as members of our family. We lost our precious Rascal - Dr. McGoldrick and Kris were right there with us - as was their staff - comforting us in the kindest of ways. Over the course of the years we added two beautiful little girl ChiChis -- Schotzi and Lucy. And just this year a new little man came into our life -- TBoy. We also recently added Dr. Parks to our family as she cared for our aging Schotzi during a tough bout with her pancreas and arthritis. I have had animals all my life -- been to many vets -- but never have my pets -- my precious family members -- been treated with such care, kindness, consideration, love, empathy -- as they are by Dr. McGoldrick and each and every member of his staff. They have been and will continue to be a blessing to our family.

My dog is a rescue and truly is terrified of people , which often times comes out in ferocious barking and jumping and nipping. The staff at this office has been so kind and compassionate with her. It’s the only place I go where she doesn’t bark at people. We will never go anywhere else.

We've been taking our 4 legged kids to Dr. McGoldrick and staff since he first bought the place from Dr. Bogart. I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone else. Dr. McGoldrick was there with us from the start at Izzy's first appointment when she was 6 months old and we found out she had underdeveloped kidneys to the very end when we all cried as she went to a better place. I had to leave our cat Goobs overnight for observation and I started to cry... Dr. McGoldrick crouched down and explained to me that he would be ok. Of course I felt like a big sissy afterwards but he did make me feel much better. Every time one of my animals has an appointment, they always call to check in the next day to see how they are doing. Even if they just got a shot. Kind and compassionate go a long way and everyone at this office exudes it. Your "kids" would be very lucky to be a part of this clinic and their care.

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. From the reception staff to my vet tech Carrie to Dr. Turk himself, everyone went above and beyond to help my cat when I brought him in last minute for urinary problems. Hes very anxious at the vet, and everyone took extra care to make sure he was calm and comfortable. They were very thorough during the exam and made sure I understood his condition and what to do for him. This is not my regular vet, but the difference in care we received from this clinic and my usual vet was night and day. I'll only be going to the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor from now on. I hate that my little guy isn't feeling well, but so glad it led us here.

I actually ended up here by mistake. I was looking for the ER clinic we took my daughter's dog to, but it had gone out of business. These girls got Lilly in and the Dr. was great. They will be Lilly's new vet.

I've been going to The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor for years! I drive over 20 miles to bring my fur babies for great care! I have tried local places closer to my house and they are not even remotely comparable. The staff and doctors and amazing! They are professional, knowledge, listen, and provide excellent recommendations. My fur babies love it there and are treated so well! They are great at communicating and even call after appts to check up on your fur baby to make sure they are doing well! Excellent customer service and truly caring and compassionate people! Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful people here. They got me in immediately when I was a new customer to help my boy, The next day they did the same for me as his condition had worsened. I had to put him down today and they did everything possible to make my cat and myself comfortable. Ive never had to put down a pet before and they really made the process much easier for me. Fantastic caring people here. Thank you again.

This is the BEST vet office. The clinic has stayed open later than their usual hours before when we really needed them back in 2016. They helped us through a difficult time with one of our cats needing surgery. Since then, they have always found a way to get me into their office when I call at the last minute and I'm so thankful for that when my husband and I both work full-time. They are extremely nice, caring, helpful, and want the best for my cats. As with every vet office, sometimes I have to wait a little longer than I'd like to, but I'm okay with it since I trust the vet and know that they are doing everything they can. Also, there are other vet clinics out there that are cheaper, but you get what you pay for!! This is the best vet office in Palm Harbor! We moved a little further out about 2 years ago, but I still make the commute because I do not trust any other clinic with our cats!

Great service and care for your pets. They contacted us several times while our dog was sick to ensure she, and the rest of the family, were doing well. Dr. Frazee did an amazing job for us.

In my opinion, Dr. Murphy is one of the worst avian vets. He diagnosed my bird with a condition that she did not have. After many appts and another opinion I was informed that Peaches, my African Grey, was indeed very healthy and did not have Aspergillus. I spent countless hours, money, and tears thinking that I would lose my girl. That never happened. She is 16 and extremely healthy. This is a vet that needs to be put out of business.

I can tell you that I started going to Dr McGoldrick when he first started his practice with my brand new Chi Tucker. Tucker got very sick and I was sick with worry. I have never met a more compassionate and warm Doctor that you know REALLY CARES for your babies. Each and every person that works there care deeply for your furkids. Dr. McGoldrick called me and walked me through every step because I was very tight with money and it was looking like Dr McGoldrick might have to go in and see if there was some deeper issue that test were not showing. He allowed me to take Tucker home but, called me the next day eary to check on him and then had his staff follow up with me every couple of hours until the seriousness of Tucker's conditioned passed. I was thankful that he was willing to wait and access things before going right into surgery. I feel confident and comfortable that if at anytime he would have taken a turn for the worse he would have been right there no questions asked. I love his whole staff they are like family and I feel very comfortable putting my furkids in their hands. They also walk you through the cost of everything before they do anything so, there are no surprises at the end. If you are not using them you are missing out. I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

The owners and staffs are really nice. The knowledge, care, and compassion they show for all of their customers and clients is top notch. I am not a perfect person so sometimes I just have to 'Pop In' without an appointment, one quick call, and they do their best to get me in.

We have used several veterinarians in the area, and there are many. We are very happy with the Vet Clinic. Everyone is polite and they treat the dogs with care. Nobody likes going to the vet, but it's nice knowing you have a good one if you need them.

Last week I took my Bichon in to get his teeth cleaned because he had such bad breath. I thought he might have a bad tooth, but what I found out was that all his teeth were rotten and his entire mouth was infected. They had to pull all of his teeth. I felt so horrible. I was sure it was my fault. But when I came in to pick him up after the surgery, the doctor spent almost 30 minutes with me showing me pictures they had taken during the surgery of why it had to be done (of course they had called to get my approval) and showed me how extensive the problem was. He was so kind and never made me feel like it was my fault, though I'm sure it was. The entire staff was so kind and caring. They have called each day to check on him and I did have to take him back for an antibiotic shot because he was not eating and I couldn't give him the pill. If you love your pet please check their teeth. And if you need a vet, I would highly recommend them. They really do take care of your pet and really care.

My Harley came in barely able to walk and hadn't eaten anything in two days, I was scared to say the least. The staff and Dr was amazing, fully explained my options and what they thought was going on based on the info we had at that point. One UTI and Three days later my main man was back to himself, thanks for everything you and your team did!

My Charlee and I just relocated to Pawley’s Island South Carolina. One of my main concerns leaving Florida was the exceptional care Charlee has received for the last 4 years. Dr. George Malnati recommended the Vet Clinic after he operated on Charlee’s back legs. Two vets previously had said she was ok. Charlee is 15 and had fantastic care from the entire staff every visit. Thank you so much!
