Excellent experience today, as usual. The entire staff was professional, loving and friendly. My Mini Schnauzer was made to feel comfortable during his visit. I was thoroughly informed of our particular issue and the cost was affordable. I moved away a few years ago and had serious issues with another vet. Thank God I brought Willie Nelson back. Was a near perfect visit.

Love these people.. they have taken care of my animals for years.. the girls are so kind to us and the doctors are patient and understanding. Only thing I hate is that Nassau County does not have a vet hospital so after 5 PM you have to drive to Southside to go there.. I understand that it is hard for them to be on call and get out of bed to come in and meet you at the office.. but it is very hard on the owners too. Especially the after hours emergency visit which is double of what Pet Care Center charged. The hospital needs money upfront BEFORE they see the pet (little family member).

Pet Care Center of Nassau has always been there for my furbabies (and me)! Dr. Norstrud met me at the clinic one night when my baby boy had his first seizure. I do not think he could have survived the trip to Jacksonville. Dr. Norstrud worked with great compassion to stop the seizures. Since that late night visit years ago I have gone to Pet Care Center of Nassau for medical care, medications, Science Diet food, and doggie treats for my little ones. Recently we had a major health issue with my tiny girl and Dr. Arbo worked worked us in very early that morning. By noon we were seeing veterinary specialists for further evaluation - thanks to Dr. Arbo. This practice is phenomenal. The vets are great! The staff is very friendly and supremely efficient. Mercedes is so kind (also on top of everything)! I am thankful to have these professionals caring for my furkids!

I have been taking my companions to The Pet Care Center of Nassau for 3 years now. When we moved we had our beloved elderly dog with us and she passed away about a year after we moved. We have a new puppy now. The vets (especially Dr. Arbo) and the entire staff are wonderful. They are very engaged and interested in their patients. The care they provide is thoughtful yet pragmatic. I would (and have) recommended them to anyone with a companion animal.

We love this clinic. They took excellent care of our beagle puppy when she had her surgery to get spayed. She had to return a few days later due to her stitches being a little red and swollen and they checked her out for free and assured me that all was well and ended my worries. She later returned for the rest of her vaccinations and all of the friendly staff took time to say hello to her and get some puppy love. Very caring and friendly staff and Dr Arbo is outstanding!

We left our home during Hurricane Florence and boarded our dog here. The staff was incredibly accommodating and discounted our dog’s stay out of the goodness of their own hearts. The kennels were larger than I expected and one employee had just finished bathing our dog and taking her for a walk prior my picking her up. All for no extra charge. Can’t say enough good things about our experience here!

Besides having a great way with their furry patients, they explain everything and discuss plans of action. The office runs efficiently and my appointment has always been on time. The center is clean and orderly, and they even have separate waiting rooms so dogs and cats don't have to be together. It's a great place to keep your pet healthy.

Our two Poodles, Blossom & Sage just love Pet Care Center of Nassau. Dr Jason Arbo is our vet. Routine visits are always excellent but this time it was not routine. On a Sunday, our little Blossom was having a problem and we called the emergency number. The on-call vet (happened to be Dr Arbo) rang us right back. He listened, gave us good advice, calmed us down and helped us realize we didn't need immediate attention. On Monday, we called and got right in. Turned out bleeding that we thought was a problem was not. Excellent news but the real excellent part was the service and compassion our little girlie and we received. This is the kind of vet we want for our family!!

Harley was mine and Chris Myers World, and we were his. Harley gave us some of our life’s most treasured and savored memories, unconditional love, companionship, a unique and admirable innocence, and loyalty. 4 Paws Pet Clinic was an integral part of our family. All of the folks at 4 Paws gave Harley unprecedented attention and compassion, with such gentleness and care. At no time did we ever feel that 4 Paws was suggesting care for Harley that was anything other than in his best interest. These people are truly animal lovers, all of whom genuinely care deeply and personally about every one of their patients. When it was discovered, very suddenly that Harley was ill, he was immediately scheduled by 4 Paws with Oak Creek Veterinary Hospital, and he was admitted for surgery within a couple of hours. Harley had Splenetic Cancer, which had metastasized to his other organs. This is an illness not uncommon, but todays’s technology still cannot pinpoint a cause. At 56 days old, Harley became accustomed to falling asleep in my arm, with his head on my shoulder. Every night the ritual of him laying on a shoulder with my arm around him, looking into my eyes as I told him a bedtime story, until he fell asleep never changed. I savored every night. Just 9 1/2 years old seems way too short. But, in that 9 1/2 years, we weren’t apart for 72 hours total. Every day, he would lay under my desk as I got through the work that I needed to do, then it was walk time. Harley would scream and tear around the house at words like “walk,” “ride in the truck,” “go swimming,” “rollerblading” and “frisbee.” He would never start eating his breakfast or dinner alone. He would only eat after we also sat down to have a meal together. Afterword, the tradition was to sit stubbornly in front of his toy closet until one of us got him a chew toy. I have had the blessings of loving and being loved in my life, but nothing compares to the bond and companionship I had with this sweet little pal, Harley. This little guy will rest in my heart forever… Harley had one hard evening. By 3:00 AM, Harley was telling us that it was time. We drove through the early morning hours to arrive at 4 Paws at 7:00 AM. They immediately took him in, handled him with such gentleness and care, and provided him with such a peaceful and dignified cross over the Rainbow Bridge. There was not a dry eye at 4 Paws. They are so caring and such wonderful people. Thank you all at 4 Paws for helping us in our greatest time of need. We all will hold Harley in our hearts.

I have had lots of great experiences over the years. The most recent was the heartbreaking decision to have our ailing senior Lab put to sleep after almost 14 years with us. While the experience of making that choice was expected because she had been failing for a while now they really helped us with the process and allowed us to stay with her as long as we needed after the vet determined she was "gone". We really appreciated the care we got from them over the years and were blessed to have such compassionate people there for us at the end of her wonderful life.

We found the Pet Care Center when we moved to Fernandina Beach a year and a half or so ago. The office staff is excellent: friendly, helpful, and well educated. All the vets are top notch! Dr Jason Arbo has been guiding us through our Archie’s later years as he deals with his old age problems. I highly recommend this practice for their outstanding service! They don’t over medicate, they listen, and tolerate rambunctious dogs like our Charlie!

The vets and staff are incredible! I don't have any complaints! I have a German Shepherd who wasn't expected to live past puppyhood because of a severe heart problem. She will be 5 in January. I fully believe a good part of the reason she is still with me is because of the care she's received from them! I just acquired another German Shepherd puppy and he goes to them, as well. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else! Dr. Norstrud handled my dog's surgery 4 years ago and she was amazing! Dr. Arbo has been taking care of my furbabies since then.
