Took my dog here for a suspected uti. When I returned they explained to me that they couldn't get my dog to use to bathroom and insisted I pay $60 for watching my dog not pee. As you could imagine I was not a happy camper. Though the poor receptionist tried to compromise a price on my next visit, I was having none of it. I would not recommend to worst enemy.

Plantation Animal Hospital is an amazing institution. During my two years in Fleming Island I used them for vet services and boarding. I travel frequently for business and dropped off my golden doodle several times. I was very please to find out that he was always taken care of and had an outlet to release his boundless energy in my absence via the play park. The staff are top of the line. They are attentive, caring and treat each animal as if it were their own. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a new vet or boarding service in the area.

I would not trust my dogs at another vet. I have been going to Plantation Animal Hospital for around 10 years now. Their vets are all very knowledgeable, friendly, and have your pets best interest in mind all of the time. They are very thorough, if you are looking for a bargain basement vet, that just gives you your shots and are on your way, this is not the place for you. However, if your dog or cat is part of the family, and you want to make sure they are healthy, and that your vet listens to you when you have a health concern, and makes sure they find the problem THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Dr. Sheri does acupuncture on elderly dogs for arthritis, and you can even get adequan (liquid glucosamine) shots here to help your pups as the age. Plantation has also been with us through the sad times, recommending cancer and heart specialists to me when my four legged kids got older and ill, and they were right there with me to help them over the rainbow bridge in the most compassionate manner, and even helping me pick out urns after the fact. I have moved about an hour away to the beach, but I still bring my dogs across town to Plantation, because I know there isn't a better veterinary office around!

I absolutely LOVE Plantation Animal Hospital. I have had two dogs when I lived in Fleming Island and took both Phoebe and Phinneaus to them. All staff was kind, concerned for my pets well being and truly cared for them when we boarded them. When Phoebe got sick with IBD, Plantation's doctors showed me comfort and quality time with Phoebe before they put her to rest. A year ago this month we moved to Ormond Beach, Fl ( 1 hour and 15 minutes away). I still bring Phinneaus to them as I totally trust them with my baby. Juanita is one of my special ladies who genuinely LOVES Phinneaus. She gives him special attention and knows how Phinneaus' personality is pretty special. A shout out to all the Plantation's team. We LOVE all of you. See you on the 23rd of October.

We have used PAH for 20 yrs. Every tech and Vet is compassionate, love animals , and is so honest is working with your pets. Just recently, I had to put my two 15 yr old pups to Rainbow Bridge. It was a difficult decision with Dr. Vodevic giving me honest feedback on what my babies were feeling. The entire clinic was caring and said good bye to Percy and Beau. I received a handwritten note from the Vet with paw prints and fur cutting with very personal note. I can’t say enough. Obviously, we have been happy there for almost 20 yrs- having at least one cat or dog the entire time.

CHad to come here for a quick pg test on our English bulldog. It was about a two hour drive but well worth it. They gave my pup a bottle of water since it was such a long drive. The artwork on the walls are amazing and the place is surprisingly very clean.

Dr. Sheri Cone walked us through every aspect of our dog’s procedure with emails, phone calls, even giving us her personal cell number for after hours and on weekends. The price was exactly what was presented...really our last bill included a surprise discount. Plantation Animal Hospital is the best of the best from our experience and we are so thankful our local vet recommended Dr. Cone for our specific pet needs.

Our first visit to PAH was today! Our pooch, Samson, loved it and so did we! The facility is clean, spacious, and displays are inviting. The receptionists were warm and knowledgeable (I apologize for not catching their names). Our appointment was swift (which is to be expected for the annual exam of a healthy young adult dog)! Dr. Vodevic and Becca tended to our pet and Chad showed us the ins-and-outs of the facility. Impressively organized and competitively priced - definitely a stand-out in Clay County. I just want to say the staff and vets at this office are the best. We had a very old dog and they (especially Dr. Lisi) added years and quality of life for him. I will be forever grateful to them for that. In addition we live in an area where people dump animals and we have brought in several rescue cats- including kittens who needed blood transfusions. Dr. Lacy went home and got her cat-Jimmie Dean to donate blood and save them. I'm happy to say I was able to find them good homes.. Recently we took an injured cat my husband found on the highway and they (especially Dr. Cone) went above and beyond to save this animal-all the while being considerate and compassionate towards us money wise. Again I cannot thank the vets and staff enough.

Took my buddy (Deeohjee) in as a semi emergency because he was getting lesions on his skin. Although I did not have an appointment He was able to be seen in short time. He's on meds and I am happy to say he gets healthier every day. The staff, the vet, and the vet techs were just great and I'm treated as a friend every time I'm there. I can't thank them enough.

I couldn't find a vet to look at my mom's dog other than them (walk ins not welcome in most of the vets). However, she ended up being put down within 2 hours and they charged over 700 for that visit. I have paid similar amounts for a pup with a heart condition were they pulled fluid out of her chest. So they will not be my vet of choice as this is crazy high.

Our 6 yr old mini-Aussie shepherd, Stella, had a dismal diagnosis: lymphoma. We were all overwhelmed by huge chemotherapy expenditures for an oncology specialist and an uncertain outcome on the horizon. Devastated by her prognosis, we were extremely anxious about Stella's quality of life. Emotionally torn, we turned to Dr Fred Cohn for a second opinion. His expertise and compassion not only gave Stella a positive direction in her state of well-being, but as an added bonus, he was able to hold our expenses down. Today, Stella is romping around, and we can see a twinkle in her eye and a bounce in her step again. We appreciate Dr. Fred's constant efforts to research the best therapies for Stella, and even enabling us to get financial assistance from The ROSCO Foundation. The Drs and Staff were utterly amazing! Everyone at Plantation Animal Hospital encouragingly and kindly shared in Stella's care and comfort; from the receptionists to the Techs to the Drs. All of their caregiving was always punctuated with reassuring words and warm smiles. We are optimistic about Stella, but even if things take a turn, we know that she has been given a good quality of life and a fighting chance. For this, and for everyone at Plantation Animal Hospital who made it so, we are eternally grateful!

My puppy I bought from Vanity pets had his health certificate from this place ! It was hand written with the wrong DOB and 14 numbers for the microchip numbers which makes it an invalid microchip .My pup has kennel cough and I have spent a lot of money getting him healthy again ..These people should know these things if they are practicing vets ...I am fortunate to have a wonderful vet in Chimney Lakes that will have to rescan for microchip and we have him on his second round of antibiotics ..We were offered $100 free service to go to this vet .. I would like to thank Fleming Plantation vets for their recent response ..I realise now that the info given to you from Vanity Pets was wrong...Harry is getting better and his cough is almost gone . He has been checked for his Micro chip and found the missing digit . Thank you for responding with care .

After having our beloved Peanut for 14 years we had to make the difficult decision to have him put to sleep. It was a very difficult and challenging decision for our family. We found Plantation Animal Hospital and made our way there. We had never been seen and had no previous experience with this facility and found the staff and Dr. Cone were great. Peanut was our daughters dog and this past September she moved to Kansas and during the whole process Dr. Cone spoke with her on the phone and kept her involved in the process. It was amazing to see his compassion for our situation. This all took place after hours on the Saturday after Christmas and none of the staff rushed us and let us ask any and all questions that we had. Dr. Cone even took time out of his day two days later to call us and check up to see how we were doing. I highly recommend Dr. Cone and Plantation Animal Hospital.

Forever thankful to Dr Lisi Vodevic! After almost 6 years with kidney disease finally our Toby cat went to sleep forever. Long years ,full with ups and downs specific to KD and all this time our Dr Lisi was there with us. Always kind, caring, patient and open minded when it came to new ideas about nutrition introducing meds and fluids etc But most of all TRULY LOVING our girl. We have taken our pets (Cats) to them since they were babies. They were convenient at best but not very organised or professional. Appointments would be set early in the day, but the animals werent usually seen til late afternoon. No call or explanation ever given. Thankfully we never had to have anything major done to the cats, however most recently our long hair cat went in for a hygenic shave...she gets a little wiggly and anxious so they usually give her something light to relax. Apparently someone made a huge mistake cause the sedative was too much and our little girl passed away. Nothing else leading up to this had ever been wrong with her and was always given a clean bill of health. This was clearly Dr error. This is unacceptable and feel that anyone considering this facility should know what they are getting into.

I know my dogs will be well taken care of and receive the best care possible no matter how small or large the issue.
