I am so impressed with the ordeal of bringing my baby Rusty to this facility. He was so sick and needs dental surgery, which I was told by 3 other doctors they wouldn't do it because of his heart murmur. Dr. Ross Valdez didn't blink an eye about his condition and assure me he wasn't worried and scheduled his surgery in 3 weeks after the infection is under control. The care he has given him so far has improved him considerable in just a few days. I am looking forward to finally getting the help he so desperately needs to prolong his life and make him a happy baby again. Dr. Ross Valdez personally called me about all the tests results and put my mind at ease. I would recommend this place for anyone who has a fur baby in need of professional attention and care. I will let everyone know of the outcome of the surgery and I pray for a healthy happy ending for my Rusty Man. Glenda Cox

I was very happy with the service at park heights. I called the same day and they took my dog in right away. The staff was super nice and very helpful they even called later to check on my dog. I am glad I found them I recently moved from another state and won't go anywhere else. Amazing service if your looking for a friendly vet clinic I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Valdez has overseen the care and health of my Boxer for the past 10+ years until she past last December. I now have a new Boxer puppy and took her in for her first puppy visit. You can't believe the caring wonderful bedside manner by Dr. Valdez until you experience it for your pet. Highly recommend this Veterinarian.

Outstanding vet care. Me and my mom both agreed this is the vet everyone should bring their animals to. Dr Valdez and his office staff are outstanding and the care they give the animals is impeccable. I feel that my dog is in good hands and I trust there decisions on the care they provide. I have three cats and a dog and three parakeets. The doctors and the staff are fantastic and they are very compassionate and patient with my fur babies. I never worry because I know if there is something wrong and it is fixable that they will be able to do it. And they have a wonderful Angel fund that you can donate to that will help people with their pets that cannot afford the bills. Wonderful place I will never take my fur babies anywhere else

This is by far, the best place to bring your fur babies. Dr. Mango and Dr. Valdez are not only knowledgeable and experienced, but they are caring and understanding. Unlike some of the other vets in Lake County that only care about charging for any and everything(and I say this only because I’ve heard people tell me about thier experiences at other places), their main concern is always the health and well being of our furry babies. In the 25 years I’ve been taking my babies there, I have never gone home with any doubts, worries, concern, suspicions or skepticism. I’ve always had full confidence in them and their staff, and I’m so grateful for everything they have done.

Our dog Casey suddenly stopped walking and we brought her in to see Dr. Valdez. We were told that she had severe arthritis. While we feared the worst, we left with some medication and in two days she was up walking again and running within the week. Dr. Valdez was wonderful. He took time to answer all our questions about what we could do to help her in terms of diet and exercise and he offered several very helpful suggestions. Our dogs are our kids and we don't trust them with just anyone. I would highly recommend Dr. Valdez and the kind folks at Park Heights Animal Care Center.

Absolutely love the doctors here! My two pups have both been vetted here, one large breed and one small, both treated beautifully! My cat is special needs with a history.. and can be a bit of a jerk. The staff handle him with compassion, care and understanding. Dr. M even went so far as to consult a kitty specialist regarding his issues.. finally a real vet willing to look for issues and treat my fur child as I would if I were a vet. The building itself is small but clean. There are two sides and waiting areas, one for cats and one for dogs. Affordable rates, great staff, good doctors.

I had a 3:45 appointment to bring my cat in, but unfortunately I couldn't catch her until my mom got home around 4:30. We raced through a monsoon and rush hour construction traffic and got there around 4:58 with plenty of time to spare (The office didn't close until 5:30). The receptionist told me that we would have to come another time, but I nor my mother could do that (I live in Orlando with a regularly busy schedule and my mother has an 8am-6pm work schedule monday through friday). They decided to keep the cat overnight, for blood work and monitoring the cat. My mom called about the cat today after she finished work earlier than usual. The office claimed there was nothing wrong cat, but the office insisted she come in and speak with the vet at 4:30. She got in earlier around 4:10 and heard the office staff brag how they made someone who was late yesterday pay the boarding fee overnight and was proud of it. Around 4:45 they took her in to a room where the cat was to be brought in. At 5:00, she had enough, walked out to reception and demanded to pay the bill. Reception said that she couldn't leave without seeing the vet. She eventually paid, got the cat and went home. When she got home, the vet called her and asked if someone could bring her in next week, but no one is available to bring the cat in. EDIT: I received a phone call today from Dr. Valdez to explain that we had not been charged that overnight boarding fee the nurses claimed that had make. He also asked how my kitty was doing and was enthusiastic to hear that she was doing better. Even though I was still not satisfied by the nurse staff, the brightens my heart that Dr. Valdez is such a wonderful vet and cares deeply about all his cuddly, furry patients.
