We were traveling and our dog got sick. Called from the road and they squeezed us in. The staff was very thorough and caring. Even detected a thryoid issue our regular vet did not. Stellar service, wonderful team. Appreciate all your hard work to get our 4 legged baby well.

Both of my fur-babies were patients there for 14+ years until they passed, the kindness & compassion they had always shown both of them & us were like no other. If you're looking for & needing a Vet to treat your pets as their own, this is where you need to go.

In short, all I can say is Nassau Veterinary Hospital is AWESOME! We are new to the area and happy to say we have found a veterinary home for our boy Roo! Everyone is so incredibly nice, fun and professional! Even though they were booked, they let me drop Roo off in case some time cleared up. Thankfully it did and they got him all taken care of! Heck he left with such a happy smile, you would think he had a spa day instead of a surgery :). Thank you again so much, we are thankful to be able to bring Roo to such a fantastic place!

Dr. Carter and Dr.Oswald and the staff are just great. We moved to the area 3 years ago and Dr. Carter was recommended to us by a friend. Since then, Dr. Carter and Dr. Oswald have seen us through the loss of our two geriatric dogs and have been there every step of the way as we treated for heartworms in the dog we recently acquired from the county shelter. It is clearly more than just a business for Dr. Carter - and the compassion and loving care are evident in every member of the staff. But having said that, I have also found them to be very pragmatic in their approach and understanding - within reason - of budget and financial considerations. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice to anyone seeking true compassion in the care for their beloved pets.
