EDIT: I have to completely take back my review from this place. If I could give 0 stars I would. After seeing them my beardie never seemed to improve from coccidia treatment. I decided to take my girl to another specialist. Turns out she was extremely over medicated and should have never been given the colon cleanser they prescribed. They also gave her an enema which I also found out is not good for bearded dragons. Due to their treatment she now suffers from possible kidney damage from being on antibiotics 7 days longer than what should be allowed. Save your pets and money and find a vet that will properly diagnose and prescribe meds. I now have a beardie who needs lots of treatments I can not afford and I am having to rehome her to someone who can. He also gave advise to stop feeding feeders that are more nutritious and switch out for crickets, which are notorious for parasites and very little nutritional value. He also suggested meal worms over super worms, which have a harder exoskeleton and can cause impaction. The worst is he wanted me to fast her one day a week and stop feeding mostly protein daily. She is less than a year old and needs 80% protein in Her diet to grow properly and healthy. Avoid this vet. It doesnt matter how nice and kind they are, they are not knowledgeable in bearded dragon and now me and my beardie both have to suffer from it. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Brought my bearded dragon here for the first time. My drive from tampa was completely worth it!! Not only was the staff extremely welcoming and cheerful, they were very helpful and knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure I understood everything and to give my beardie the best care that they could. Prices are very fair also. Very infectious and positive attitude in that entire office. Will definitely continue my visits here.

Dr. Macko took care of her immediately when I came in, and let me know all options and now just 2 days later after receiving the medication my little one is feeling herself again! We came in to get a second opinion about our hedgehog Luna's health. The vet we went to previously was ABSOLUTELY no help. The doctor who saw us was SO wonderful. Gave our sweet Luna a thorough exam and found very serious life threatening issues. She gave us her clear, unbiased professional council and didnt try to give false hope, which we are deeply grateful for. Simply gave us the fact and her concerns and let my wife and I make the calls. After some tests (which were SUPER FAST), it was decided that either Luna would need to be put down, or we could have emergency surgery performed. It sucked to hear, but odds weren't good. Our doctor provided us an estimate for the cost and THEY WERE ABLE TO DO SURGERY THAT SAME DAY AND SAVE OUR HEDGEHOGS LIFE. We had an absolute rollercoaster of a day, but you guys were so good to us and made the day survivable. Even if Luna didnt make it, we know for a FACT that they are the type of people who would have done anything they could to save our tiny loveable hedgehog. Thank you all from the hearts of two humans and a hog.

I have a leopard gecko who was in a ton of pain! He had a horrible prolapse and Dr.Diaz was the person to help! I did not have an appointment but I went right at 3pm because the awesome office staff told me to be there at 3pm after surgery hours! So I did and I was out of there by 3:30ish with all the prescriptions to help my big boy! On the way to the vet he was not moving and his head was down the whole ride. When we got home he had his head mighty high and looked better already! This was a big scare for my boyfriend and I! We are so thankful for Dr.Diaz and his AWESOME staff! I don’t even know where to begin. My hedgehog Quilliam hasn’t been doing too good so I made an appointment with Dr. Diaz. Not only were the people super nice on the phone, they were able to get me an appointment the next day. From the moment I stepped into the office I felt comfortable. They got me into a room instantly and treated me and Quilliam like their top priority. I didn’t catch his name, but the man that came in before the doctor was super nice and gentle with my baby. Quilliam is like a child to me so to have them show him and myself so much respect was amazing. Dr. Diaz was VERY knowledgeable about hedgehogs and I felt safe with his diagnosis even though it wasn’t very good. He took his time to answer my questions, and I had a lot. He gave me plenty of options and was just so caring. I felt like he genuinely cared about Quilliam and I. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you have a pet that needs vet attention, you can absolutely trust these people to take care of them. Absolute BEST service and staff. Thank you guys ❤️

Great place will never go anywhere eles. This is the place to go I have a peacock and they treated her right and was very helpful they gave use the medicine my bird needed and they even cared she was in pain. No other vets really care about the pain our pets go though but they did by giving her pain meds.this place saved my peacocks life

Had to take my 3 fursnakes (ferrets) into this vet got them some vaccines they had adverse reactions same day, i was told it could be something else and to bring them in i said let me monitor it a bit longer and it had subsided i was told the vaccines gives no reactions however internet research says otherwise on many sources all said and done theyre alive and seemingly fine now so 4 stars

I have never met a veterinarian so kind and genuine. I know my animals are recieving the best care possible here, and I couldnt picture bringing them anywhere else. Dr. Santiago makes me feel like my animals and myself are a priority, and I can tell he is this way with every client. Every person in his building has been kind and helpful. I have been bringing my rats and bearded dragon to him for years and the 2 hour drive for me to get there is well worth it. Dr. Diaz did a fantastic job with her, and he was very open and helpful during her recovery, too. I posted a concern on here yesterday because this is the first animal hospital I walked into that does not have an examination table and that my pet's weight was not checked. Luckily, Exotic Animal Hospital of Orlando popped up in my area. The staff is so welcoming and Santiago Diaz was full of expert advice. Even my normally fussy boy seemed at ease.
