Used to love it took my dogs their for years on and off. But last time they charge me $200 for the treatment ok I can deal with that it was needed but the follow-up visit charge me $24 to tell me okay he looks good looks like everything's working all of five minutes of his time for $24 didn't see that is fair but it is what it is found me a new vet good luck to companion I wish them the best.

This is the most reasonable Animal Hospital in the area most places I called they wanted an arm and a leg for a pet examination office visit what not..... when you go hear your first office visit is free and they are so very caring about your animal and very nice and polite and not pushy or rude like most places and they really do care about you and your pets so please give them a chance.

We have been to Companion Pet Hospital twice in the last 6 month's. The first time was to help our wolf go up to doggie heaven and the owner was so kind and gracious. The second time was for our GSD who had a bladder infection. The owner was knowledgeable and gave us every option possible to treat our dog. Most places in Florida always go for the most expensive route first and then guilt trip you into not spending the most money possible if you want to see all price points. The Dr was beyond professional. We highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Duke is a wonderful and caring Vet. He saved my bird's life. That was eleven years ago. Dr. Duke is extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to talk to you and thoroughly explain what needs to be done for your animal. I would not go to any one else.

They are very caring and helpful i just had to put my dog down after he was suffering from old age 15years old they were not "officially" open but helped us anyway they treated him with respect and cared for him till the end i will miss him but they made it easy. i have also had other great times with them for normal checkups....

It's okay, that's about it. Staff was friendly, Dr. was good although I left there not really sure of what they were saying was wrong with my puppy. I felt like they were to quick to send me to an animal hospital when it really was not necessary, I took my puppy home and kept forcing water on him

Companion pet Hospital has recently has a new veterinarian. I had to take my own dog to them this time. He was diagnosed with cancer. They were very pleasant and compassionate to our situation. Unfortunately Rayfer has gone down hill within a month. Today may he rest in peace.

I had a cat (Adam) for 14 1/2 years that got sick. Everyone was so great. They gave him antibiotics and pain meds but within 48 hours, he left us. This is my first time with this veterinan. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Not only is the doctor amazing, the staff is equally incredible. They worked outr sick kitty cat in. Took amazing care of her and went over all results completely, as well as giving us detailed home instructions. I feel like I can breath again knowing that our family member received such fabulous emergency care and is on the path to mending. I would 100% recommend this pet hospital,vet and his loving staff. I was a brand new client, called ahead to get estimate for my 3 years old rottie to have her annual check up, was quoted $185. Upon our initial meeting with Dr Duke, he did not introduce himself, nor was he friendly. Upon leaving to check out, our bill came to $270. When confronting the lady at front desk, she said that the doctor must have thought it was necessary to add more costly services to the check up. The bill was the bill. Then, we noticed that the office did not provide us with the Rabies Tag after our dog was vaccinated. And, they also gave our dog the 3 year vaccine without discussing with us if we wanted the 3 year or the 1 year. We luckily called ahead to animal services to find out the cost of the tag, it was an additional $20. And, every year after that, we still have to go to animal services to pick up and pay for another tag. Will not be returning to this doctor. Do yourself a favor, take your dog or cat elsewhere.

Dr. Sandhu is a great doctor and staff was excellent but the way he bad mouths his employees is unfair. I overheard them in the lobby and I felt bad for the woman he was speaking to.

They showed a level of caring that I didn't expect when we lost our Paco. There's a new Vet at this location. However, he continues the Legacy of the old vet, and is building a Legacy as an awesome vet to take your pets to. He sees our three dogs. We've used vets in Tampa who would muzzle your dog, but the vets at companion haven't done that to our dogs. We have one who looks like a pitbull, but is actually a Greyhound Boxer mix who most people are afraid of, but to this vet he's just another dog. I say that in a good way. The vet doesn't treat our dog any different than he would a Yorkie, or any other little or big dog. Highly recommend this vet, and his entire staff.

It was understaffed, i stood at the desk for almost ten minutes waiting for a receptionist. I took my dog in to euthanized and Dr Duke said two words the whole time I was in the office. The tech had to push him away from my dog on the table because he was trying to give him the meds before asking if I had any questions or if I was ready for him to administer the medication. He had no bedside manner at all. He had no empathy for what I was going though at all. After he administered the meds, he checked my dog with his stethoscope, said "he's gone" and walked out of the room. Don't EVER take your pets here if you are looking for someone to empathize with you and treat your animals as their own.

We have been taking our animals here for 45 years and when Dr. Duke retired we were very glad that he sold the practice to Dr. Sandhu. He kept Sara, the vet tech, on and that made us even happier. We love Dr. Sandhu and Sara and the new receptionist . All of the staff are wonderful. We drive several miles out of the way and pass several other vets before we get there because of how good they are. Try them and I believe that you will also come to love them.

Great vet! He quickly diagnosed the problem with our beagle. The medication he prescribed had immediate results while we waiting on the test to determine the source of the problem. Dr. Sandhu even called on Memorial Day to give us the lab results. We are so thankful to find a great vet close to home.

I was fortunate enough to find him through a pet shop hosting a mobile shot vet clinic in the Fishhawk area. Unfortunately, the pet shop stop hosting him but I was able to follow him to his physical office. Best vet office I've been to! Doesn't try to give you BS for your pet, just the necessary shots/treatment. (Side note: I saw the vet watering/treating the outside plants in the morning and thought that was noble of him to take the time to do so)

This place is a disgrace. They will rip you off anyway possible. Started goin here 4 months ago got my boy on trifexis been on it since. Came in to wiegh him and get his medicine and the vet tech was tryin to tell me he hasent been checked for heart worms since 3mo old lol no possible because he was a year when i brought him into this place. They would not give me his treatment said he has to have a heart worm test. I said he just had one 4 months ago. Tech wanted to agrue with me about everything i said. No customer service very rude and disrespectful. Also the lady at the front desk is very rude and mean. Not welcoming or nice at all. I highly dont recommend this place and will never be back. Also what if i would have bought 12months supply four months ago???? Then this would have never happened. They refused to sell me any trifexis without givin them pointless money for another heartworm test that e just had 4 months ago

I was a client of Dr. Duke. My dog is insulin dependent due to his diabetes. The first shady thing I noticed is that they would not give me a prescription for his insulin and or diabetes food to fill through pet meds. Stated they do not give prescriptions. I was starting to run out of insulin and called and placed a order for my dog. This was on a Wednesday. The girl acted like she had no clue who my dog was and or what medicine he was on. I then contacted the "manager" who apologized and assured me that his insulin would be here no later then Monday by 1. I called and the same girl from before told me it was not in. I said wait...my dog gets sick with no insulin and he has been low since the weekend due to the first mistake. I asked to speak with the manager and she refused to get onto the phone. the girl began repeating herself over and over again about they do not ship out on weekends and that its not "life threatening". Wait...when my dog was in here you said he was border line diabetic coma and needed his insulin. now he can wait almost 4 days because of your mistake. After demanding the manager again the girl hung up. I made multiple calls back to the vet and they would just dump me in voicemail. Finally the manager picked up with an attitude and told me she ordered it but was told after the fact it would be here until Tuesday and or Wednesday. no apologize...no call back..nothing....I said I would like to speak with Dr. Duke. She then advised that no one speaks to Dr. Duke. She then said it was ok for the prior tech to hang up on me because she is a grown woman and if I was rude I deserve it....how do you know I was rude? you wouldn't come to the phone? Then she tells me that I am fired from the office as a client...and she will call and cancel my dogs insulin. Also told me I can come pick up his records. I have never in my life been treated in this manner. I also never knew someone could be so heartless to cancel my dogs insulin. Dr. Duke if you read this...you lost a customer. sorry I couldn't speak with you directly.

I’ve been going to this location for 7 years. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. When Dr Duke retired and the new one took over, he is funny and great to talk to. Also his prices are better than ever. I’d recommend him anytime. I had to bring in my dog today for an unexpected visit cause she was attacked by another dog, Lilly Rose is my dog and she just loves the staff there as much as I do. They enjoy the workout they get with my 86 lb puppy lol . Thanks Dr. Sandhu and staff you are great .
