Techs are the best. My dog is scared about nail cuts but they are very understanding and patience.
Great people who really care about all the little creatures! Love, love, love this place!!
Used them for 10 yrs plus and always provided satisfaction
I just want to start out by saying I love the front staff. Sonya always has a smile on her face and she always greets me and my pet. I gave a fake name because what I'm bout to say is not very good about the back staff. I have been coming here for years and I have never seen such rudeness in my life. Kelly is the most rudest person I have ever met in my life coming up to the front desk and yelling at the staff and slamming doors? How can a person who loves animals be so hateful towards the employees at the front desk? The reason why I still bring my pets here is because of Sonya and Pam. If it wasn't for them being here I wouldn't bother coming at all. Kelly needs to take a deep breath and find something she is happy with... I don't see her ever being a happy person at bayshore.
Lucy Lu got excellent care from the staff at Bayshore Animal Hospital
Good vets
Dr.are great. Really care.
Nice people works well with my dogs.
Great place full of caring individuals
Small locally owned animal hospital. The staff are fantastic! Especially OP at the front desk!
Vet and staff took great care of my cat
They were very helpful and friendly. I feel the doctors were knowledgeable and caring.
Very welcoming place. Concerned staff made the visit for my dog extremely easy. I have been here several times and will continue to drive up from Osprey to use Bayshore Animal Hospital.
My Squirrel doesn't think much of going, but they are the best Vets for your exotic animals.. I have a 40 pound
I have seen Dr. Teed since his arrival. I believe this is his calling. His disposition with the families of these beloved creatures. I can't imagine ever losing or having a sick animal. I believe this man's knowledge is truly unique. I have 100% faith in this doctor. Anyone looking for a vet should make their appointment immediately!
The doctors and staff are caring, informative and very professional. The place is clean. It's a pleasure to know my pet is in good hands.
Awesome team of doctors and techs. My family has been bringing our animals to Bayshore Animal Hospital since 1977. They explain everything whether it be shots, medicines, or surgery. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies.
Super nice people they took in a injured turtle that my dog got hold and made sure it got help thanks so much
Very clean clinic. Extreamly friendly staff. Affordable pricing.
I have been taking my animals to Bayshore Animal Hospital for years. I cant say enough good things about this clinic. The dedication that the Doctors and staff have towards their patients is apparent from the minute you enter their establishment. I always feel welcome and they are very eager to answer any questions that I have about my dog Sprocket. I can always feel comfortable that he is in good hands when I take him to Bayshore Animal Hospital.
We've been bringing our Cockatoo for 10 years and they are always consistent. They take good care of of her and the price is reasonable.
Couldn’t be happier with this place. Everyone from the front desk back is so warm, caring and inviting. But the real superstar is Dr. Nic he’s hands on, caring, dedicated, and good at what he does. He even went as far as bringing his own dog as a blood donor for my anemic dog Incase she needed a blood transfusion during her emergency surgery. I previously had to put a dog down here about 4 years back and they went above and beyond each and every time. I would bet my life on this place and everyone inside of it.
Best place to bring any animal.
Best vet in bradenton
Dr. Tana and the Bayshore Animal Hospital are amazing. One of my chickens had a severely impacted crop, so I called Bayshore wondering if they would see me (most practices don't have avian specialists). They got me in within the hour, and Dr. Tana and the staff were very kind and helpful. The chicken needed surgery and Dr. Tana even stayed late to perform it. That kind of dedication means the world to pet owners.
They take great care in their work
Worst. Visit. Ever. They had me come in 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, which only took 1 minute (tops). Then I waited about an hour to see anyone, and had no communication until I was informed that I would be required to give my cat a shot--even through it was completely unrelated to my issue. The doctor kept making excuses--and not apologies-- and calling my cat by the name of Scabby... He was also quite rough with her when trying to take a sample. He took a glass slide and rubbed it directly on her (after scratching off a scab and aggravating her until she bled), instead of using a cotton swab to get a sample. I told them that she was very upset being outside of her home and that I should be with her at all times. They took her back for blood work and were surprised when she became even more upset. Over an hour and a half later, I went to check out (and had to wait for someone to check me out for another 10 minutes), and they told me my total. It was not what I was expecting. When I inquired about the high price, it turns out that in addition to the unwanted shot, they were trying to attach a fee for tags that I had not ordered. Overall, a nightmare.
Dr. Mike is great and he knows his stuff! My family and I have been taking our pets to see him for over 20 years. He truly cares about his clients and their pets.
Great vet office. Clean and friendly personnel. They alsi specialize in exotic veterinary services. Very knowledgeable.
I would give it 5 Stars if the building was up to date. As far as actually doing their job I highly recommend them. All the staff is very friendly and it is one of the only places that has an avian vet in Bradenton.
Love this place and the ppl
This place was recommended who has lived in the area for 45 years. I've been taking my dog for 5 years. Good vet.
Started going there recently for my birds. And, now I take my older dog in for laser therapy. Wonderful people. Very caring.
Dr. Caceres is a great choice with pets! He is extremely compassionate with all people and animals. This hospital is willing to work with you and understand how important the health and well being of your furry family members are to you, no matter your situation. They talk you through treatment and give your step by step instructions on how to treat pets at home. My cat definitely has a permanent Veterinary office here at Bayshore Animal Hospital. 10 out of 10 would recommend to any pet owner or animal out there! Thank you so much for treating my cat and finding a plan that is accessible to our family!
Took the greatest care of us and for a fair price! Thank you so much for a positive experience.
When I recieved a phone call for a reminder. The woman calling wasn't very friendly at all. Once we got to our appointment. We were told there was a specific area for cats in the far right corner of the waiting room. We sat in the waiting room for an hour just waiting. However we arrived earlier than our appointment. People came in the people behind the desk seemed more friendly to the regular clients than to the new clients. No one else sat in the cat area, but us. We had brought our cat in for an exam to have his tooth removed which was very infected and extremely loose. Once we were back there one of doctors a dark haired lady. Looked at his teeth, which I felt was very rough in her handling of our cat. She showed us our cats teeth was very infected. Some sort of disease, I forgot what it's called. Without numbing him up she pulled the really bad tooth right then and there, which left the root in his mouth. She told us it might reabsorb into his gum. She checked the rest of his teeth to see if they were loose. His other fang was loose, but NOT in the condition of his other fang that was really bad. This tooth was loose, but not loose enough to pull without numbing him up which she pulled the tooth, the not so bad tooth right then and there. She handled his mouth without care! MY baby should have been numbed before any extraction as well he should have been on antibiotics before pulling his one tooth. After being done, she began to clean his mouth with some cleaning solution, but she kept touching his gum socket with the tip of the dispenser. After being done she checked his weight and cleaned his ears. Gave him a shot of antibiotics and painkiller. Prescribed medicine. Sure the price was right for doing all of this. However, with the rough handling of our cat. Once our cat was home, the next day he threw up the antibiotic. We called back to ask what could be wrong with him. They told us he could be septic. He got really weak and wouldn't eat, drink, or even go to the bathroom. Sad thing is I read the reviews for this place before going there. There's one thing people love more than people that's their dogs and cats. I will begin to believe the reviews where my cat is concerned. I'm surprised this place is still in business. We took our cat to Braden River Animal Hospital thinking he wouldn't make it, we signed papers to have him put to sleep. Cause he was so weak. As we came in Braden River Animal Hospital it didn't take long to see the doctor maybe 10 minutes to be called back. During the consultation with Dr. Clekis he offered our cat a second chance at life which we gladly accepted. Right now our kitty is being cared for at Braden River Animal Hospital, on new meds. Whatever, the outcome we are EXTREMELY Grateful to Dr. Clekis for his care and concern as well taking the time to actually talk to us. I would always choose Braden River Animal Hospital over any other animal hospital down here.
This is the most amazing team to care for my cat. I have never had a problem here. They are so gentle with my little girl. If I find injured birds I always bring them here to be cared for. It's always a pleasure to come here. Thank you so much for your wonderful service to our community!
I have been taking my pup here and had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and doctors.
Besides mixing up my appt I was very impressed. The staff was very friendly & knowledgble. The clinic seemed clean & well organized. Dr T was great.
Very nice people
They did surgery on our bunny and we're wonderful. Very caring Vet & staff
Love this office. I highly recommend them, in fact I already have!
Dr. Teed & Marta helped my kitty boy Georgie in his final moments and me while I made decision and cried. Very kind and compassionate!
Great place for Exotic Animal Service!
My whole family use Bayshore Animal Hospital, having tried many vets in the area over the last 12 years. The staff go above and beyond, and really love our pets, it's evident in the way they treat them, talk to them, and in how our pets behave around them. I highly recommend this practice.
They are very friendly and great with my pets. We have used them since 2004 and we have always been happy with their services.
Vet and staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Took excellent care of my lil whiskey! Worked around my work schedule. Facilities are clean. I would recommend them to anyone with pets...especially small or exotic like my guinea pig.... Thanks guys!!!!
Good kind people. Good vet
Seems I am not the only one who thinks the customer service is horrible. Also a 400% MARK-UP ON RX MEDICATIONS IS A SLAP IN THE FACE! I changed vets after calling for a refill on my rx, which they said they would not fill until the dr saw me (more $$$), I explained I was almost out of my pets medication, they said they could give me pills but my kitty needs the compounded liquid medication, to which they told me it would not be ordered and someone would call me WITHIN 24 hours about, worst case, the very next day, since the dr was out of town. It was FIVE DAYS later when i called a different vet and made an appointment (still no word from these guys), who saw me immediately. I got a call from these people later the following week saying the medication was in, the very same one I was told would NOT BE ORDERED. I already moved on, so sadly their 400% mark-up on the meds for my pet will wash out to only 200% mark-up... good riddance y'all
The people were sooooo nice and professional. I could tell that they cared a lot!
Very nice people
Clean, staff is very friendly.
Thank goodness for Dr. Jones bird Vet, grateful to have an exotic vet in Bradenton
Front desk could have been nicer
My dog was having spasms and falling they suspected mini mal seizures, on a return visit was confirmed blind , even though I'm not happy I would definitely go there again
They handle all types of pets. Affordable and caring
Can't say enough good about this veterinary hospital. Over the years (years!) I've had dogs, cats, and birds - never had a problem - only the best veterinary care for my animals - there's something to be said about becoming a familiar face at a business, any business - of course (!) they are friendlier to people they've known for years - get over it! Dr. Mossler is the kindest and most caring man you could ever hope to have caring for your pets! Dr. Weber is also pretty awesome! You gotta love these veterinarians - they work all day and then still take the time to take care of injured wildlife at the end of their day - for free! Maybe if the person with the cat with the bad tooth had not waited so long to bring her 'baby' to be treated it wouldn't have nearly died - maybe the veterinarian she saw later saw the cat as it was in recovery from the excellent and 'reasonably priced' care she received from Bayshore Animal Hospital!
I called inquiring about their prices on Female cat spays. The woman on the phone was not the most pleasant person to talk to. I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then for her to tell me in the most crappiest voice that it was $528.17. I inquired about bay shore animal hospital because of the good reviews. First impressions are everything and the woman that answered the phone made me feel like I was unwanted and an annoyance. I was going to use your services again because I want my animal to be in good hands but I think I will take my business else where.
They care!
They were kind and dr. Nic is very good and nice too. My cat should be better soon.
Professional, helpful staff & great doctors!
It's a long story.
Wait took longer than proceedure
Helped us in a time of sorrow
The the best veterinarians in Bradenton Florida
Caring people, good service,
The most compassionate people and my dogs just loved them
I am always impressed by the service, level of care, and knowledge at Bayshore. Both the front desk staff and the veterinarians are very personable, always acting with a caring and warm bed side manner. Your pet's best interest is always at the forefront of their concerns, which I really appreciate. Our nearby business offers pet services and we feel extremely confident referring clients to Bayshore. We have no doubt that they'll have a fantastic experience.
I love how they take exotic animals in
(Translated by Google) I am interested in how much my cat would get to operate and 2 babies with vaccine (Original) Me interests saver cuanto me saldria operar a mi gata y 2 Bebe con vacuna
The doctors are fine, but the front desk employees are the most inept, stupid people I have ever come across. I don't know how many times they have screwed up my appointments, taken walk-ins in front of me, had me fill out new patient forms each time I went there for my cat. Three times. And they argue with you instead of being honest that they've screwed up your appointment. The appointment is taken by someone during the week, and when you show up on Saturday, they say that you are wrong. And they make you wait for a half hour before they inform you of this! I am so done with these people.
Dr. Jones killed my pet and doesn't care one bit. I paid $266.68 for them to kill my chinchilla. I was told that since he died before he could take the medicine if I returned it they would refund it. My chinchilla was ok when I took him in, in less than 8 hours of picking him up he was dead. Dr. Teed and the front staff are very nice but I pray Dr. Jones becomes the harshest victim of karma.
Extremely kind in a very difficult time. Thank you
They take care of my bobby on short notice
The doctors and staff there are all very kind and provide great care to my dog .he started going to that vet at 8 weeks old and currently he is 13 yrs old with a heart condition ! I wouldnt trust any one else ....
The vets and vet techs are so great to work with. My family has been bringing our pets here for close to 20 years, so that's saying something.
We have all of our pets a patients at Bayshore Animal Clinic... we've tried others on-and-off over the last 15 years because we lived nearer to their offices, but we always come back here. I'd like to respond to some of the 1 and 2 star reviews: I agree with some of the reviews that they don't have an upscale waiting room. It's clean but basic.I was a vet tech for several years, and clean but basic is good. Plush furnishings, televisions and other amenities are for the pet owners and do zero for your pet. What we have found -- as have the three family members who have switched to Bayshore in the last year or so -- is that the care is quite good and the cost is reasonable. In the Sarasota area, vet care can be ridiculously expensive. Bayshore is a bit more reasonable than some, but with a high quality of care. Dr. Mosseller is particularly excellent with birds, and there are two other vets on staff at any given time who work primarily with dogs and cats. The only caveat I have is that the office is not outfitted with an ultrasound or other high end equipment... there is a lab in house for basic tests and an XRay machine, otherwise high level testing has to be done in other facilities with a referral. But other than that minor inconvenience, this hospital is highly recommended.
They are better priced than most. Dr Mossler was amazing but retired I think but I still go there, never had a bad experience. Narrow isle makes it hard for me to check out when it takes time bc my JRT isn't friendly toward other dogs.
My family and I have owned dogs since the day I was born. I have had the opportunity to know many veterinarians over the years. I can honestly say Dr. Mossler and the staff of Bayshore Animal Hospital are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and caring. Our current dog, a Scottish Terrier, has experienced both allergies and skin problems, and Dr. Mossler has treated him with 100% success. Also, this is one of the few Animal Hospitals that has the capacity, experience, and compassion to treat wild animals, often without financial reimbursement. Clearly, Dr. Mossler and the staff of Bayshore Animal Hospital are totally committed to the health and welfare of ALL the animals in our community. I would strongly, and wholeheartedly, recommend Dr. Mossler and the Bayshore Animal Hospital to everyone. I have informed Dr Mossler that he is never allowed to retire :)
Great service and staff and very fair prices.
Done with this business! Several days ago I scheduled an appt for 10:50 this morning. I was pressed for time having taken the day off work due to out-of-state family coming for 2 graduations taking place tomorrow, but this was the only available appt this week. When I checked in I was told I was not on the schedule and looking further, the snarky receptionist told me my appt was actually on Monday. I know for a fact I did not schedule on Monday as I have the day off TODAY and have a huge budget meeting at work on Monday! There is no way I would have scheduled for Monday. I told her that, but clearly, she did not believe me. After sitting for 45 minutes, I asked if a technician could trim my dogs nails while we waited for a vet. Again, Ms. Snarky told me all the technicians were busy and I'd have to wait my turn. I asked again how long that might be and she said there were 3 people ahead of me, so it would be a while. She said I could leave my 100# dog and come back and get him later this afternoon, but since I'll be making a trip to the airport this afternoon, that wasn't going to work. She reiterated that I'd have to wait my turn since I was a walk-in. I told her - again - why I would not have scheduled for Monday and she said it was possible it was their error (they have new people up front), but I'd still have to wait for people who had an appt to be seen. Anyone who had an appt AFTER 10:50 was actually jumping ahead of me, but Ms. Snarky was not about to make any concessions for their error whatsoever. I left and will find another vet next week. I felt I was overcharged last time I was there and I almost didn't go back ... among other charges, the vet gave me a prescription for 60 pain pills for my dog and he actually only used 2 of them. At $1 per pill, the vet certainly could have given me a prescription for fewer pills and if my dog needed more, I could have gone back to pick them up. This is a busy office, so I'm quite sure they don't care, but I'm done with this place. The customer service STINKS! Not once did I hear any apology for their error and my inconvenience. Ms. Snarky could use a "Customer Service 101" course.
Loving care!
Wonderful staff and Doctors!!!!
Excellent pet care
