Love the people, very friendly, helpful, caring. Doctor Brooks is the best and goes over and beyond to help care for his patients. The whole staff knows what their doing and the office is clean and very animal friendly..I will travel as far as I have to in order for my pets to go to this clinic.

Make sure you get a thorough explanation of what they are going to do to your pet. Will be taking our pet elsewhere as I feel this is not a veterinarian clinc that truly loves pets or doesn't really care. In it for the money as we were definitely taken for more money than were we told to start with. 5/7/2019 update. We were never given an estimate upfront even when asked how much, nor told about a vacinaton my dog would receive for being boarded. Nor did we get a printed plan, only after the fact. I also didn't appreciate my dog being dragged across your floor because he didn't want to go back for service. Seems that reading other reviews nothing is ever your fault. Have to wonder about a vet who's main degree is agriculture. Like I stated earlier nothing is ever your fault! I was given none of what you say. You're not only a bad vet but very dishonest! My $28 spa day turned into a $300 bill. We were definitely taken by you and your staff! Also why is it people are not allowed back with their pets? Plus if you don't know me or my pet how can you even make these comments you know nothing about? Stick to agriculture because your a terrible vet with a poor business attitude! The other poor reviews paint the exact picture. You shouldn't be in business.

I really love Dr. Brookes. The clinic personnel are all very friendly and the care for our cat Stella and dog AJ is more than I could ask for in service. Dr. Brookes has his cell phone available to his clients owners and he seems to genuinely have a deep love of animals. Could not ask for a better place to take your four legged loved ones.

When I had to have my precious Missy put down the sympathy and support given were top of the line. I trust very few people with my pets but Dr. Brooks and his staff are on that list.

Worst vet EVER he is hateful Nd abusive twords the animals. He takes up volunteer work to look good for his clients. I worked here in high school and can honestly say he is a walking demon. He only treats his own dog with care and love numerous times I witnessed him smack tiny Chihuahuas hit bigger dogs in the head and nobody knows because of the fake face he puts on. Talk about the devil in sheep's clothing. I didn't want to leave here and yes I QUIT because of his abuse and my dad came down and tried to toe to toe with him but of course he only picks on animals smaller than him and beats his wife black and blue. Anyone who honestly thinks he is a good person to their animals isn't someone who pays enough attention to them. If you can't see this fool for what darkness he has inside ur just as bad as he. He has anger problems severely but talking with him once u would never suspect how evil he is. He should not be in business. I felt bad for leaving all of your helpless animals with him but I can't save them all. Working for him made me not want to work in a vet ever again but I gave it a go anyways and realized there are so much more wonderful vet doctors who really love the animals but this one is a rotten APPLE. DONT BOTHER COMMENTING BROOKS YOUR REPLIES ARE ALL JUST AS FAKE AS UR CARE FOR HELPLESS ANIMALS. AND I THINK U ARE A COWARD!!!!! SHOW UR TRUE COLORS AND STOP ACTING. -5 stars! Such a terrible place. Dr. Brooks is horrible to his staff and patients. I’m not surprised by all these negative comments for they seem pretty accurate. No wonder they are constantly looking for new people to hire. He needs to be SHUT DOWN. Don’t give this man your money. Take your pet elsewhere. If you truly care about animals take them somewhere else. And as for jobs, he will not try to build you up. He thinks he is better than everyone else but jokes on him. He is not the best doctor and definitely not the best human being there is. If he really cares about animals he should have his clients go ANYWHERE else but there. And if this man ever made you second guess your career know that no other animal hospital is like his. I’m now in veterinary school and I just want to say that I’m disappointed that he carries the title and not the heart...

Dr. Brooks is an AMAZING vet! We have been taking our puppies, kitties, and even bunnies to him for 13 years. He has saved Abby's life on more than one occasion (she likes to swallow things) and also saved Jay's life when we first got him (he was malnourished and infested with fleas). He's even helped me out with my pup, Ryder, even though I'm in Orlando going to school. I didn't trust my vets here and he gave me free advice that ended up saving me about $300! Really, he is truly amazing.

They must use the same unprofessional office support staff for billing as they do for secretarial services. I have received notice that I had unpaid bills for animals I do not have. They have threatened legal action for services that cannot exist because there are no animals to receive them. I know this is not a case of mistaken address as they referred to me by name in the notice. I see though from the rest of the reviews that this "clinic" is more interested in turning a profit than providing customer service to their human and animals patrons. The office staff has been of no help with the issue and insist there were services rendered for imaginary animals. I request documentation of office visits and receipts. *And just received a call from my ex-husband. BAC tried to charge his card for the alleged services. How would they even get his information? Very fraudulent that they would attempt the charge a card they are not in anyway authorized to use.

Doc is great! We have brought all our animals to Bartow Animal Clinic for years and they have provided great service from routine vaccinations, boarding to emergency care. I have never felted pressured to buy products or services as I have elsewhere. Dr. Brooks has gone above and beyond after an emergency with our Lenny and we trust him with all our babies!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. witnessed erica the old vet tech sit on top of a dog and smack him in the nose with nail clippers when he pulled his paw away while she was trimming his nails. dr brooks is a nasty man who verbally and emotionally abuses his employees. people are constantly quitting because he is so awful. pets nails are cut until they bleed. disgusting nasty place.

I wouldn't even give this place one star! The staff that works there are nice, the doctor, on the other hand is not only abusive to his staff, he is also abusive to the animals when the owner isn't there, and mainly abusive to the animals that do not act how he wants them to act, and he says you have to correct them when doing bad behavior, i agree with that, BUT hitting a dog is NOT the answer, nor is it your dog to hit. I can take rude comments but to watch him throw his hand back as far as he could and slam the medal part of the nail clippers on top of the dogs head is absolutely horrible. He also has a major mouth on him, I am sure he thought no one was around him but I was there behind him hearing him cuss up a storm over an animal in his care, I just turned around and walked away. He also like I said is beyond RUDE to his staff. It is one thing to correct someone on his staff who may have messed up, its another thing to be super rude and making snide comments. I have heard from and know past employees or people who have volunteered there, and they will all tell you the same things I am saying. This is one place that could ruin you in wanting a career in this field if you never knew there were WAY better clinics around. He certainly has his loyal clients fooled on who they think the owner/doctor is. What staff he has that has put up with him truly are angles, he is not though. I am sure no one really has the balls to stand up and I wasn't going to but I cant take the image of him hitting that poor dog out of my head. The animals cant talk but I can. Believe what you will, I only hope more people will come forward and tell what it is like to work on the inside like I have. I wasn't there long, thank God, the situation that happened saved me from having to work at this place. Saying I hated it, is the nice way to put it. My response to Dr. Brook's response, I had a huge response typed out, not needed, because you show your colors on your own, therefore I am only going to address a few things here. First off please note i never stated I quit, I was while employed with you looking for a new job after I saw what i saw. You can in fact try and make me look bad all you want I stand by what I say and I know SEVERAL people who can back me up, even one dating back to the start of your practice. And all I have to say stating family death, 3 days of bereavement, legally never got it, note those days start the day of the death, which i was terminated in that time frame.

We have used Bartow Animal Clinic for years and Tim Brooks is fantastic. Our dogs love him and he takes great care of them. It is nice because he is knowledgable enough to diagnose any issues correctly the first time unlike other vets who seem to guess and cause you to come back several times before they get it right. Bartow animal clinic charges fair prices and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Dr. Brooks is active in the community and supports other local business which is very important in any small town community.

I haven't had a negative experience in the office and everyone has always been nice but there has been some confusion over the health plans being billed. As my brother had taken one of my dogs while we hit a rough patch money wise and he was going to have the health plan billed to him and he thought that they had it worked out but they were still charging my card. Idk if my brother did everything he was supposed to, to switch it or not. But we have him back now so it no longer matters. But overall they treat me and my dogs well.

Bartow Animal Clinic is the only place I would trust to care for my animals. They are always friendly and accommodating too. Not only do they care for my puppy (not really a puppy 1.5 years now) but they treat him like it is their own. They remember him by name and they show excitement when I bring him in. My schedule is sometimes a little crazy and they always do great at accommodating the times I need for scheduling. They provide full service to, from my normal Vet appointments to grooming and even boarding.

I CANT BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS STILL OPEN. I worked for Bartow Animal Clinic for about a week. While there, I witnessed the Vet tech/receptionist smack the dogs in the face with the nail clippers to subdue them while trimming their nails. She also threatened to take my check away and use it to buy new locks. I may have not turned the key in as quickly as they would have liked, considering I was on vacation, but WITHHOLDING CHECKS FROM EMPLOYEES IS ILLEGAL. The vet tech also used the N word multiple times. How could I tell dr brooks about it when he is just as evil as she was? He is SO RUDE to his employees and will call you stupid and incompetent. It's abuse. The staff and the animals are abused and it's so sad. Please do not take your pets here. Go elsewhere.
