Very nice ,well trained staff.. excellent dr's!! I had been bringing my girls since they were 3 month old and say girls because they treat them very nice and friendly!!!! Dr willys your the best!!!
Friendly people, great with the family fur baby. Very clean office.
I recently moved from the area, and definitely miss the level of care my dog received at VCA Valley Animal Hospital. Both Danielle and Christine were fantastic and very gentle with my dog, and the receptionists were always pleasant.
I've been taking my animals here for over 30 years and have always received wonderful service.
The staff at VCA is top notch.. They explained everything in detail that I could understand. They made sure my dog was comfortable and took care of his issues and followed up after. The level of customer service was incredible. Christine Smith VMD and Christina Marek are people that are understanding and I want to thank them for attention to detail. I recommend VCA for all your pets needs..
I was nervous about visiting the hospital mostly because of the price but I was able to download a coupon online since I was a new customer. The front desk staff could have been a little cheerful but it was 7 at night so I let it slide. My chihuahua Belli CONSTANTLY has a skin infection so I am accustomed to going to the vet at least once a month. The vet (Dr. Jodi) was superb! I am absolutely happy that I finally went. She was not into just giving my dog some steroids and an antibiotic. She explained her reasoning and did not make me feel uncomfortable about pricing or what items I could and could not afford. I was able to take a few items off. The doctors visit was pricier than what I am accustomed to ($61 compared to $21) but it was worth it. She flooded me with knowledge and was very into our conversation. I visited a previous vet and I felt like I was being rushed and he did nothing in regards of explaining his decision for treatment or the products he insisted I purchased. I would recommend this place to any of my other animal lovers. AND the vet techs were nice as well. The location was constantly being swept and was very clean.
Great staff and business
I have been going to VCA Valley Vet for almost 6 years with my dog Bruno and have never had more than a wonderful experience. Dr. Willis and all the staff, including her other veterinarians, are very helpful and have the health of your pet as their first priority. I go there and both of my daughters pets go there as well, they are a caring group of people!
This is the only place I will take my fur babies. The staff is amazing and so gentle. Very helpful and informative as well.
Great place! People friendly
Great place to bring your fur babies!
Love Dr Willis and Dr. Dan Great staff
All the people who work here demonstrate their love of animals...
Have been going here for 10-15 years with both my dogs, all good experience's.... I highly recommend them.
Very friendly staff, very helpful and can tell it's about the best care they can give the animals.my dog has become a beast with a small circle of friends. They handled it well, was a much better experience then anticipated. Thanks Doc
They take wonderful care of your pets
We bring our 2 dogs there. Pleasant, compassionate staff!
Best pet care! All the veterinarians are loving and compassionate and truly want what's best for your animal. They are not out for the $$. Love them!
I love this place the staff and doctors are great.
Amazing people who work to help
My Persian cat recently became so ill that we had no option but to put him to sleep. VCA South Windsor accommodated us on a Sunday when most other places were closed. It was heart wrenching but the staff there made us feel they understood what we were going through. They assured us his remains would be taken care of by them until we were able to make proper arrangement for burial. They were very kind and empathetic. A month later we received a condolence card from the office with comforting words from the staff. We felt so touched. Thank you VCA.
VCA Valley fits my needs for all my pets! The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Dr. DeRico provides excellent, compassionate, quality care for all three of my pets. Dr. DeRico is.very knowledgeable with all types of issues, simple to complicated, and is very talented. I am so happy I found this hospital!
Too expensive
My 10 lb. Jack Russel Terrier was sick for about 6 weeks. We brought her to two different vets before being referred to VCA Valley Animal Hospital. Neither of the other two vets even suggested xrays for her, but VCA Valley did. They found that she had something (turned out to be a piece of a rope toy) lodged in her small intestine. They were able to do emergency surgery and remove it. They saved her life. I have had 2 follow-up visits with them and have been extremely impressed with everyone on their staff from the Doctors to the Technicians to the Front Desk help. They've called daily to check on how she is doing and they actually make me feel like they care! I would recommend this vet to EVERYONE! I will be moving all of my other pets over to them, as well. We have seen Dr. Jacobsen (AMAZING!!!!) and Dr. Funaro (She's good, but seems a little new - but again she did a great job too - she left me a very detailed message and then fully explained everything to me again when I called her back). They are very easy to talk to about payment options, and if there is something that they can waive for you, they do! I don't normally give out 5 stars, but they're very deserving of it, I wish I could give them 6!
Highly recommended. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Brought my little guy in for what could have been a major surgery. Not only did we avoid surgery, but my whole visit cost less than $65.
Just got a new puppy and the people and the vet were all very nice
They are great vets, caring and available, we bring all five pets to them 4 dogs and a cat. Love the care they bring
Great place. Very helpful
Very friendly staff, fair prices. Overall very good vet!
I have a ferret and the closest vca that dealt with exotic pets was in South Hadley Ma which at the time was a 40 minute drive for me. I recently moved to Connecticut and sawe there were a few vcas closer to me so I sent this office a few emails just simply asking if they treat ferrets. I never received a response. I hate using phones, I prefer emails so it's how I do things. The South Hadley office, I wasn't impressed with at all, very unorganized and the staff were rude so I really wanted to find a new vca. Personally, all vcas should treat all the same animals, not just one or 2 in every state. Ridiculous
My family has been bringing our pets here for years. Service is always phenomenal. Employees are kind and understanding! I trust my dogs lives with the staff here and wouldn't have it any other way! Thanks for always being amazing VCA!
Recently brought my 9 yr old samoyed to this vet hospital, he was really sick, stopped eating, couldn't walk, we took him to 2 other vets before coming here, my dog hadn't been himself the past few months & i took him in to another vet about a month ago, when his symptoms were just mild crankyness & not wanting to do much lately, they couldn't find anything to suggest he was as sick as he was, the vet we took him to after he got really sick over the weekend didn't do anything for him , we had to bring my beautiful Mellow to him in a wheel barrel & the dr sent us home without doing any diagnostic work & told us to keep giving him the antibiotics he was taking before he went off his food. I even asked the dr to give him iv fluids or steroids or even a shot of vitamins just something to make him more comfortable, but he got nothing! This VCA hospital did everything they could for him, the initial estimate was around $1,000, they did xrays & blood work & iv fluids & when the tests started to show he had pancreatic cancer & was dying, we had to make the difficult decision to let him go, they only charged us around 500 for everything including euthanasia . Ive owned animals all of my life & ive been to atleast a dozen different veterinary hospitals, this one was by far the most compassionate, considerate, and affordable hospital for the care they provide. Even when i had to let him go, they were very kind about it. They didn't judge me for being young or treat me like i couldn't pay the bill like many other vets have, they even did an autopsy for no charge to give me some peace of mind that the cancer was too far progressed to save him, as the primary tumor had died & started rotting & had spread to the neighboring organs. It was my first visit with this hospital, we are new to the area and we had 4 dogs (3 now) I've gone to multiple area vets for various reasons since moving out here and none of them are as equipped or efficient or effective or affordable as this hospital is. Much of the diagnostic equipment is on site, so the testing wasn't as expensive as a hospital that outsources the diagnostic lab work. Please, if you have a real problem with your pet, bring them here first, i wish i did. They are a good, well equipped hospital that seems to know what they are doing. I know they would of been the hospital to save him if he had a chance to live. Miss my big fluffy hero so much, i love you Mellow, 9 years was too short for a great soul like yours.
Have taking my dog to Valley Vet Dr fanaro and it's the only place I would ever go
I love VCA Valley in South Windsor. I have always taken my pets there. I currently have a 15 year old Shih Tzu who is suffering from atypical Cushings. Very difficult to treat. She has constant recurring skin infections. Dr Jodi Willis has been wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and spends lots of time with me discussing the condition and possible treatment options. She is sympathetic to the high cost of treatments and tries to find ways to save a little (like larger pills to cut into parts- cheaper than getting smaller dose pills). It is obvious that she loves animals and always has their best interests at heart. I would not want to go to any other vet, especially for such a difficult continuous problem that constantly needs checking and treatment revision and adaptation. Dr Willis is never too busy or impatient. She's the BEST.
Expensive and the staff are not good with misbehaving dogs
Worst place ever! Filthy building and the staff is not helpful at all. Dr. Burnett was so rough with my cat! He made my cat bleed after cutting his claws! Very unprofessional. Walked into the room and he slammed my filed down on the table. I have heard several times to stay away from Valley Vet and I wish I listened!
I read the review about staying away from VCA Valley--- I'm not sure who wrote this review...but I have no idea why. They are amazing and Dr. Willis is the best vet ever. We just moved from CT to NC and we are contemplating a trip home just so our cat can see Dr. Willis. She was always so unbelievably kind and gentle with our cat. It's very obvious what an animal lover she really is. I love VCA Valley and I think they are the best vet in the area.
Took a friend s cat for nail clipping. Arrived early for the appointment. Very nice and accommodating. Great with the animals.
Wonderful people
The staff truly cares about you and your pets ♡
Expensive, helpful thougb
Very nice people very good with animals
Dr Willis is very knowledgeable and caring
Good care for pets but very Expensive !
They really seem to care for their animal patients. Pricing might hurt the wallet.. but all and all they were amazing to my pup.
Saved my cat angels life. Great doctors.
I've been a customer for 20 years. Specifically, the last 12 years, VCA has been caring for my 3 dogs. Dr. Frank McAleer (Dr. Mac) has ALWAYS gone above and beyond when it came to my pets. He is honest, concerned, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable and ALWAYS makes himself available for questions by returning his voicemails. I can't say enough about the rest of the staff also. They are professional and caring. I highly recommend them.
Been my vet for my family's pets since the 70's
Loved the hospital the staff was great they were so nice and helpful and genuinely concerned . The doc was my reason for 4stars not 5 she seemed terrified of my dog it was unsettling. I would recommend and go back just ask for a different doc.
Very good experience...happy.
