From reception until you’re in an exam room, everyone is very kind and friendly. The staff here has been patient with my cat and his urinary issues. They explain everything thoroughly and let you ask questions if you’re confused. I would definitey recommend Snowflake to friends & family searching for a new place!

I needed to have my indoor/outdoor cat boarded on an emergency basis as my cat sitter got injured. I was on vacation on the west coast. I called Snowflakes and they came to the rescue. They picked up my cat the same day that I called and got him set up with an indoor/outdoor setting. Given that my cat was indoor/outdoor, this setting was what was needed. When I called for status how my cat was doing, I was able to speak to a tech who provided me an update . I called several times during my vacation and was always able to talk to a person . The fee for boarding is quite reasonable as compared to other facilities providing similar service.

The vet techs and doctors are so fantastic! I have two cats that I bring to Snowflake and they are very accommodating and focus on my cats' needs and listen to my concerns.

Extremely rude staff smells they gave us the wrong appointment and made my dogs nails bleed when they attempted to groom her. Will NEVER recommend this place

Nice managers who love their animals. Odd industrial, dead-end location, a small "farm" next to transmission and body shops. Woman checking in our poodle was very thorough on his meds.

What a complete and utter shame of a veterinary practice. I tried to assist my wife in getting the care necessary for her dog, and the vet (thinking i was someone else) started speaking negatively about my wife and slandering her. I immediately called the owners and left a voicemail, more than once, and never received a call back. I reached out to a neighborhood vet who immediately (within a couple hours) provided care for the dog and his specific medical needs. The other practice was amazing and attentive, and expressed how dangerous the lack of attention Snowflake provided could be to the dog's health. The other vet was appalled at the misinformation that was given to us by Snowflake, and when they reached out to Snowflake they were completely shocked by how Snowflake spoke of my wife. This practice could learn a lot from much more caring vets.

Five starts are not enough. There aren't enough words to describe the gratitude and appreciation I have for the staff at Snowflake. I took my fur baby for a sick visit that ended up in scheduling surgery. Everyone we encountered was sympathetic, understanding, completely professional and most importantly kind. They all took the time to thoroughly explain the problem and after to sit and comfort me. My fur baby was given lots of love and fantastic care. THANK YOU!

Snowflake Pet center was a total Godsend today. One of my larger dogs attacked my smaller dog and left him with some pretty intense wounds on his face. My regular vet office couldn't fit us in but Snowflake would, even as a new patient. I was able to save SO much by avoiding the animal ER. Every staff member was genuinely personable, kind and honest with me. I felt comfortable asking questions and they gave me honest answers and advice. The prices were more than fair and my pup is well on his way to recovery. I am very particular about the care that my fur babies receive and I 100% recommend Snowflake to anyone who needs care or boarding for their pet. Thank you, everyone at Snowflake. You made a scary situation as smooth as possible.

My family and I have used Snowflake for decades. Always professional and helpful. For everything from birds to cats and dogs. Ignore the people posting negative reviews who've never actually been there and are just upset at unproven rumors by a deranged woman out for her 15 minutes of fame.

Just an "okay" grooming and hospital. I would never board there. Compared to other pet facilities in Milford, Snowflake has a strong smell, and it seems like they do not clean their floors enough. We usually bring our dog there to get his hair cut because the groomer does a good job with hair cuts. Staff say that a bath is included with the cut. Unfortunately, every time we pick up our dog, he never smells like he had a bath. He always smells like Snowflake. It could be that the facility smell is so strong it does not matter if our dog had a bath or not because he just smells like the center. The stench might be in the air. The hospital entrance floor/waiting area was also not clean, and had pieces of poop on the floor and smears that were not clean. I find that HIGHLY unusual for a pet hospital because its a method to transmit illnesses. At our Vet's office in Orange, that is NEVER seen at all. The staff will immediately clean any mess and leave the floor spotless. So, every time that we bring our dog back after grooming or visiting Snowflake, we have to give him a 2nd bath at home. We put up with it because the haircut is good, and the price is right, but we immediately wash him when home. I could not even imagine him bringing other dog's feces into our house. Since I have heard of their animals going missing, it would have to be a dire emergency for us to ever use them for boarding.

These guys are great! They were kind and considerate with my mother and her Pomeranian. They were informative and very helpful and we left as more informed pet owners! I cannot recommend them enough!

If I could give negative stars I would, however that's not an option. I switched my dog Chase to this vet after 10 years at Spring Glen Vetinary Clinic because they were friends of a friend and I heard good things. I rescued my Chase, who is now 12 years old, as a puppy from a life of being used as a bait dog. His difficult past led him to be very distrusting of males and other dogs, I brought him to Tufts behavioral clinic in Massachusetts when he was 1 and I was told the only chance he had at a normal life would be if he was medicated with prozac to relieve his anxiety. I was informed by Tufts that if we choose to put Chase on these meds and then ever I wanted him to come off of it, it was necessary to ween it out of his system. Fast forward to eleven years later when we are using Snowflake as our vet clinic, I called in a prescription refill for Chase to the pharmacy (two days before he ever ran out) and was informed that it needed doctor approval. The pharmacist tried to contact the vet and did not receive any information. When I contacted the vet I was informed (for the first time) that Chase needed to be seen before the prescription could be refilled (this was on a Wednesday.) I explained to the vet that I would not be able to get him in for at least a week as I work full time, have young children and go to graduate school. I expressed my concern about him just abruptly stopping the medicine and it making him sick or irritable towards the young children in the house. They informed me that he would be fine even if he had to wait the week because it was in his system. They also informed me in a very nasty tone that "this is why you don't let medicine just run out before calling to refill it" , mind you I called two days before it ran out. I asked to speak with the vet (as the person I had been speaking to was a secretary) and I was informed that a vet would call me back as soon as possible. Four hours later when I returned from night classes and still had not heard from the vet I called them and left a message explaining that I had yet to hear from a vet to discuss the possibility of enough pills until I can make it in, that I was always informed this was an unsafe med to stop abruptly and that I was upset with how they were handling it. I explained to them that if they did not resolve this immediately for my dog I would report them. By 10 AM the next morning I still had not heard anything back and when a family member of mine called to try and get more information, the secretary at the front desk (mistaking him for the friend that I had in common with the Snowflake) told him that I was crazy, called them up drunk and threatened them and that they were sending me a letter to drop Chase as a patient. How incredibly unprofessional not only to negatively discuss a client with anyone who calls but to drop a patient in need of service via mail without giving them any idea that it was being done. I immediately contacted my previous vet (spring glen) who filled the prescription right away as they recognized the potential danger to Chase if he abruptly stopped the medication. They also gave enough of the prescription to last the few days until I could bring him in to be seen. Oh, and when Spring Glen called for his records the secretary informed them as well that I was "crazy." Thank God Spring Glen Vetinary clinic knew me from years prior working together and informed Snowflake that it was not the case. The sad thing too was that even the pharmacist called to check on chase as they were concerned about him abruptly stopping his medication. It seems everyone but Snowflake is aware of the potential dangers this poses, even a pharmacist. I would never recommend this place as they clearly do not have the best interest of the animals at heart. It does not matter how difficult you find a person, you do not leave the animal suffering.

Been using them for years. My dog loves boarding here in the indoor/ outdoor heated/air conditioned run. The best part is the dogs are never alone because the owners live on site. Grooming is fantastic too!

I really appreciate Snowflake!!! They were so kind and understanding when my beloved yorkie was very sick and almost didn't make it. Two years later I loss my precious baby girl and I felt like they were family, they were very comforting. I felt as they truly cared about Chulie, and they saw her as my little family member and knew that she meant the world to me.

Snowflake is a great place for dog daycare. The staff is friendly and they really like animals. They are sometimes understaffed, and the parking is marginal.
