Very gentle with my monster of a cat. Also very reassuring. Open on a Sunday for emergencies. My cat only needed an assessment and it was very affordable. Edit :I've taken all three of my cats here in the past year. They diagnosed my elderly cat and helped guide him to his final place with so much care and compassion. There was never a point I felt pressured into treatment which has been my experience with most vets. They fully respect that as a pet owner I am the advocate and voice for my companion. All of this made letting go of my best friend easier, as I felt I did what was right for him. The poem written by their receptionist, mailed to me a few weeks later was a comforting surprise. I wouldn't dream of taking my babies any place else. Dr. Mead is the cat whisperer, calm & knowledgeable! The ladies at the front desk are amazing, friendly accommodating and great listeners. The office is clean and the atmosphere friendly & relaxed. I love that they are open until 8pm most nights so making an appointment is easy!

I was charged $122.00 including $52.00 for a “partial office visit” with a doctor that I literally never saw.I had an appointment that I called to say I would be 10 min late for and I told that would be fine. I arrived exactly 10 minutes late but had to wait for the staff for another 10 minutes before they took me and my dog in the back. I waited there for another few minutes. At that point a vet tech came and took my dog in the back for 3 to 5 actual minutes and then my dog was returned to me by the vet tech and I was told I could leave. I never once saw a doctor. When I asked about this they told me that I was 20 minutes late, even though I was only 10 minutes late and the remainder of the time I was waiting for the staff. I was told this was why the doctor didn’t have time to see me because she had to have her lunch.

I have trusted all my animals to Ridgehill Animal Hospital since they opened and I have never had any kind of problem. All the doctors have been very caring and sensitive to my families needs as well as my dogs needs. They handle my dogs with kid gloves and they are always very gentle with them. They give them as much time as is needed and always have time for my many questions. Their follow up care is amazing. I firmly believe that everyone from the front desk ladies to the handlers to the doctors love my dogs as much as I do. I love everyone there and it's like going to visit family when we go there. I have many wonderful memories of the folks at Ridgehill who I have laughed with many time and have occasionally have shared some tears with. I can't say enough about how amazing Ridgehill has been! They go above and beyond any vet office I have been to. My dog Bandit has had a mysterious set of seizure-like episodes and they have been with us every step of the way. The entire practice is there to offer advice and assistance whenever I need it. I appreciate everything they have done for us! If you are looking for a kind, supportive, and animal loving vet office this would definitely be it!

The Ridgehill Animal Hospital that's a whole separate conversation but what I can say is the people are very nice there however I still don't think that animal doctoring is brought up to speed they just take care of the basics and they don't have a clue when it's something that's a little of scare they have to do multiple surgeries just to try and find nothing out it's been the same way for 40 years at Ridgehill veterinary hospital it doesn't make sense to me but they haven't furthered the research but they sure don't mind taking your money 45-minute visit $350 pretty extreme pricing if you ask me but the real disgusting part of it is two days later I had to put my cat to sleep because she only got worse and they charge me another $190 for that I just think it's ridiculous to me and you still have to put your cat to sleep two days later I will try to find better veterinary care for my animals

Great Animal Hospital. Took imediate, emergency care of my 21lb dog that was savagely attacked by a 55lb dog in the care of the Owner of Halfway Home Rescue Inc., Stephanie Maselli. The staff helped walking me through protocols for such a case, when the Owner denied even being on the premises. Just another reason we've continued to drive several miles there to treat our two dogs.

We very much like the staff here and the doctors are awesome. They were able to save the teeth of our cat that Banfield wanted to pull and didn't botch the anesthesia during the cleaning like Banfield did. Would give five stars except I've never been in and out of the place in less than 15 minutes even when the place is empty and I'm only stopping in for a bag of food.

I started bringing my 3 dogs to Ridge Hill since last year my old boss recommended it and I couldn't be happier. For the price and care and attention they give my dogs it's so worth it. I've had my fair share with vets and this staff really cares about your pets. There's a receptionist their I'm not fond of but other than that everyone else is so sweet and caring and always try their best to help. I would definitely recommend Ridge hill to anyone looking for a vet who actually cares and listens to you and your pets need without exploiting you. Check them out they're amazing.

They go above and beyond at this animal hospital. My dog has severe anxiety around other dogs and people and will sometimes lash out, but unfortunately he requires vet visits for occassional urinary tract problems and bad allergies. Whenever he has a problem, they work with me to get the care he needs. The front desk staff is also always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

I had a pretty good experience here. My only Debbie downer is the price. For the same service that I got up in Windsor I paid $25, here I paid $125. For that price difference I'm tempted to drive to Windsor when I need to see the vet or try to find something cheaper around here. But let's not get caught up on sticker shock. Let's talk about the positives! The Reception They were very friendly! The two techs up front we're welcoming, polite, friendly, and very helpful. Treated me and my pet with respect and the experience completely stress free and warming. The Doctor Didn't have to wait long to be seen. My appointment was at 530 and I was in a pet room by 540. The nurse took my pets vitals and said the doctor would be in shortly. My cat wondered around the office, sniffing and eyeing everything up. Doctor was in within 5 minutes. Was polite and friendly. Quickly and gently administered the required shots and I was on my way. Out Processing Same two polite techs up front when I left. Same level of friendliness towards me and my pet. Billed me and gave me all of my required documents. Wished me a happy holiday and I was on my way. Bonus Points So originally I came here because my sister-in-law just bought a new dog and told me about this place, so on her referral I checked the place out. I came back the next day after work to drop off a stool sample for my pet. Lo and behold who I bumped into but my sister-in-law and one of the techs from the day before! Again, the front staff was polite and friendly to not only me but my sister-in-law and her new dog. So overall, a good experience. Only issue is the price and it might very well be competitive for the area and my old place up in Windsor is just really inexpensive.

Ridgehill Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing. They clearly put animals above all else. Even though I was a new patient they booked my dog immediately for the emergency surgery she needed. The veterinarians and entire team and staff was extremely warm and calmed my anxiety about my dog’s condition. They were great with following up and keeping me posted as to how she was doing during and after her surgery. They treated Zeppelynne, my Rottweiler as though she was their own, which meant the world to me. Also, their pricing was extremely reasonable to the point where it really surprised me. I am switching all my pets to them because they were so wonderful. I will forever be grateful to them for saving my baby girl’s life. I would send anyone there.
