My friend's guinea pig was misdiagnosed by this place and he died within an hour, please DO NOT bring your pets here. She is so sad and is grieving for her pet. please tell others and like this comment.

I'd like to quickly disclose that I work in the dog industry and have never written a review like this before. In June of 2019, one of my neighbor's dogs who I was help caring for came down with a bad case of diarrhea. I notified my neighbor and we decided I should bring her in to her veterinarian, Dr. Poster. I was charged $808.51 for the visit. During this visit, the dog had to have "mandatory x-rays" taken. Basically, I was charged $808.51 for the dog to spend four hours at the office, have gold bond powder applied to her rear end, two weeks worth of antibiotics, a five day GI dog food kit and said x-rays. $808.51. I contacted my personal vet after this and they only perform x-rays under extreme circumstances. I also had my puppy spade and had a hot spot on her cheek treated for ~ $650 the month before. She spent the night at the veterinary office and had a major procedure done in which anesthesia was administered. There was nothing average about this visit to Dr. Poster. I was completely ripped off and if you're thinking about going to this office or are already a client, I hope you read this review.

It killed my friends guinea pig by miss diagnosing it. I wouldn't use this hospital unless you want your beloved pet to die.

My guinea pig came to this vet because he was sick. Went there, it was very welcoming and everyone was nice. BUT there was cats walking around the intire practice. They diagnosed my guinea pig bloat. They claimed to force feed him with baby food and this powder, and CLAIMED HE WOULD BE OK BY THURSDAY. Then an hour later, he passed out. We called and took him to a hospital where he died because his were twisted. Looking at the reviews alot of people had MANY GUINEA PIGS that had passed. If you need a vet to take your pet to PLEASE GO TO SOUTH WILTION VETERNARY GROUP. I don't want this to happen to your little fella. RIP OREO

Poster Animal Hospital is a wonderful place, run by people who truly love and care about animals. Dr. Poster has devoted her life to animal welfare. Save Our Strays also is at this location and offers wonderful adoptions services. It's all about the animals at this place, there are no gimmicks and no hype, just compassion, caring, and true concern for the welfare of animals.

Thieves. Came in early to the appointment per their request. They weighed my dog and charged me $125.00 then gave me an estimate of over $1,000. It took me about 20 minutes tto figure out the finances and then they said that the doctor was busy and couldnt treat my dog! I asked for my money back and they wanted me to leave!!!!!
