I started taking my two pups here within the last couple months and I love it. The staff is friendly and the facility (both inside and outside) is very clean. Dr. King is so sweet and takes the time to answer my questions/go over any concerns I have. My dogs are my babies and I fully trust the staff with their care!

Either their hours are wrong online or their staff is legitimately sending phone calls straight to voicemail up to 45 minutes before closing which is UNACCEPTABLE. This has happened to me a number of times when i called as my cat is a pt there. However, this last time my cat was exhibiting strange behavior at 530, according to the hours online they are open until 6 so I thought I would call them and try to get him seen there so since there are much closer to me than VCA shoreline who is 20 minutes minimum away without traffic. 530 is high traffic time, I'm sitting the waiting room now while he is being seen but thank goodness I hauled ass and for here in less than 20.

I took my cat to Milford Animal Hospital yesterday for the first time and was sincerely impressed. Right from the start, having a separate area for cats to wait with Feliway towels and calming music was amazing. Simba relaxed immediately and even started purring. I did not wait long before being brought back by a cheerful, kind, and reassuring tech who made me feel at ease and we connected over our orange cats. Dr. King came in and was amazing. She joked with me and Simba first that he was a domestic mountain lion because he is such a big boy which made me laugh and feel comfortable. She took my concern seriously and did a very complete exam while being gentle and then put my heart at ease as to Simba's health. She also was great to answer all my questions and really think through what could be going on with him. At the end we decided he is fine and not to take further action but monitor him. I was so happy to hear this! Also, I am looking forward to bringing both my boys back to see Dr. King for their annual appointments. I highly recommend Milford Animal Hospital and will not take either of my boys anywhere else!

My service dog became ill and in a month's time she'd lost about 1/4 of her body weight and 60% of her hair. Her old veterinarian's office charged me a fortune and came to no conclusions as her health deteriorated. On my FIRST visit to Dr. Sachar he listened to all of my concerns, communicated with the dermatologist who'd seen her the prior week and I Knew exactly what was wrong with her and the treatment they were going to use Every day when she came in to get an injection of antibiotics, the entire office staff would greet us and the first Vet Tech she ever saw there made it a point to come out and talk to me about her progress. This is the first practice I've ever been to where everyone truly cares about every animal that comes through the door.

The staff was very friendly and questioned us about our concerns for our dog. The vet does a head to tail exam from ears to eyes to mouth checked her heart and lungs which was our concern. The vet tells us there was no issue, which was a relief to us. They do some blood work and waiting for the results. All in all we love this place and the people who work here.

Large very clean facility with nice personnel. They are very good with last minute emergency appointments. The only thing that is bad is they don't have after hour calls. So you have to call a 24 hour emergency hospital which pieper memorial and north haven ones are great.

We have been seeing Dr. Sachar for about 10 years. I would recommend him and the team at Milford Animal Hospital to anyone. Recently I brought our 10 year old mix in with breathing problems. While the news was sad, Dr. Sachar help us every step of the way. Having to say good bye to your best friend is never easy, but his caring nature and true professionalism made it much easier. I trust the team at Milford Animal Hospital to only do what is best for our animals They have showed time and time again, that they care for not only the animals they treat, but their humans as well.

Just switched to this vet facility so it was our 1st time going. The staff was friendly, and they all made you feel welcome. They go out if they're way to make your pet comfortable. Wish I had listened to a friend years ago. I would recommend this place to anybody with a Pet.

I went here to get Heartgard and nexgard for my dog with prescription and records completely available via email. I was barely greeted and was immediately told no. I explained that I indeed have a prescription from a licensed vet from home for just this reason and that I have medical records available. This man consulted with others at the desk and they stated my dog would have to be established with one of their vets with implications that the prescription and records I have directly from my vet were forged. I was treated like I was trying to scam your clinic into these preventative medications. I understand some skepticism but at least look at the documentation. It's hard enough being 1500 miles from my vet, home, support without being treated like a scammer. It's not hard to be human and kind.

Unexpectedly had to put my beloved cat down today and had to take my 3 year old with me. the staff, especially our doctor, was extraordinarily kind and helpful. I appreciate how well the handled it as I was overcome with grief, tissues and hugs were given all around. I'm so happy to have them to help us!

For years I used North Haven Animal Hospital. Not only is the facilities Top 10, But the Doctors are cutting edge! In addition, they have a wonderful staff! Totally surprised! And they have the most comprehensive modern labratories and quickest diagnostic capability of any facilities I have ever experienced!

Milford Animal Hospital is wonderful! I have been taking my dog there since he was a puppy. They always manage to get us in for an appointment even when it is last minute. Everyone is so caring and vested in my dog's health. During a recent emergency they kept in touch with me to follow up on my dog's recovery and progress and were just as happy as I was that he was getting better. They are not only competent but caring- it is the perfect combination. I am always grateful for their expertise and compassion. I would recommend them to anyone- your pets are in good hands at MAH.

Kindest people ever. My dog was dying in my arms after being rejected by 2 vets, Milford animal hospital rushed triage and got us in asap. My poor baby had to pass and walk rainbow bridge. They comforted us, gave us a private room asap to say goodbye to our baby, and then went over the options with us. VERY comfortable and welcoming place . This is now my new vet I will go to for any needs of my animals. Thank you so much for your help.

We were refereed to Milford Animal Hospital by friends. Dr. Sachar was very caring for our cat and us. We travel about 35 min to go there and it is very much worth it. I thought our cats issue was a major one, as well as expensive. We had her to another veterinary clinic (closer) for the same issue years back were told it could many things it will take time and visits to determine the exact issue. I was amazed how quickly he was able to determine the problem. Much to my relief he said it was minor and easy to resolve. It has been three days since he gave her a shot and she is so much better already. I am so thankful we have found a great Veterinary Hospital that has your animals interest AND a visit does not break your bank. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and the facilities is great. Separate areas for cats and dogs to keep there stress level in check. No matter what the drive you will be happy you made the trip.

Six star rating for this hospital for sure (if I could, lol) These veterinary professionals are very kind and compassionate! One of our cats had to have a delicate operation done on her. However, but she is very skiddish around new people. She eventually warmed up to the staff here although it did take several minutes. We actually thought about going to someone closer, but a friend referred us here instead because they had good experiences. Even though it was a farther drive for us it was definitely worth it. From the moment we walked in we w were greeted professionally and the entire process was explained to us in full detail. All of our questions were answered, and we had all the information we needed to provide proper care for our pet. When we finally brought our cat in, she was obviously very nervous about being a new surrounding. However, the technicians and the veterinary staff were all very kind and patient with her. Their expertise and their professionalism is very apparent in their daily operations. I'd definitely recommend this veterinary practice to anyone looking for a compassionate and caring team of dedicated staff!! Thank you so much to everyone at Milford Animal Hospital!!
