Called a bunch of different vets around the area to find one with experience with Hedgehogs. From the first phone conversation you could just tell they knew what they were talking about. Young Hedgehogs are grumpy and can be really difficult to work with, but the tech and doctor Kelley were both awesome with him!

Last week was my first time at KB&AH for our beloved ferret, Banjo. Our original exotic Vet couldn’t take us in, and referred us over to them which was an emergency. As busy as they were that day, they still squeezed us in to figure out what was wrong with my sick little buddy. They broke down all the costs for everything before they did any testing (which I really appreciated). Dr. Azureen Erdman spent time with me to figure out the best option for him. She never forced anything on me. I spent over 3 hours there to figure out the best solution with their help and guidance. We ended up having to put him down, but I can’t express enough how amazing Dr. Erdman was, the vet tech as well as other staff members. I was even able to get a clay molding of his little paw prints in memory of him. I highly recommend them to anyone. My husband and I plan on using them for our dogs from this point forward.

I've been bringing my pets to Kensington for a while, and I've never had a negative experience. They are knowledgeable, thorough, kind, passionate and excellent. Many other exotic veterinarians I've tried don't compare to the knowledge and expertise of the staff at Kensington. I once had a bird with a broken wing, and I had to get him in to a 24-hour emergency vet. They patched him up, put his bones back together, sure. But he lost mobility of his wing, and the 24-hour vet said they did their best, but that's how he would have to live now. I took my bird to Kensington and the doctor there said there was another way the other vet could have done the surgery, and this way my bird could have retained use of his wing. Too bad I didn't know about Kensington sooner. They were able to give him some mobility back though, amazingly. This is just one example of the overflowing competence of Kensington Bird and Animal.

My go-to place to keep the little friends healthy and happy. Finding an exotics vet is harder than a standard vet, finding a good one is next to impossible. If you have small animals and birds or dogs and cats, bring them here!

Our rabbit has been to Kensington Vet for almost 7 years now. He has been neutered, had some eye issues resolved and even gets his nails clipped every time. I feel very confident in my Vet's ability to make sure the well-visits cover everything as rabbits are difficult to diagnose if they have a problem. The staff is highly competent and very nice to work with.

KBAH PROVIDES THE BEST CARE PET OWNERS CAN'T GIVE AT HOME. We have been taking Nero, a blue and gold macaw for 18 years and never a day or time of disatisfaction. We felt confident leaving him in KBAH for weeks at a time. The staff members are professional, knowledgeable and friendly all at the same time. You have set a high standard. Refused to see my partner’s dog while he was in acute pain, because he missed his February “check-up” with them. What kind of policy is that? These people care more about money than the comfort and well-being of your animal. Imagine going to a hospital with a broken arm, only for them to refuse treatment because you haven’t had your yearly physical. This place should be ashamed to call themselves a hospital.

KBAH is our go to vet every. Single. Time. Knowledgeable and caring staff go the extra mile to explain everything you need to know about suggested shots, preventative meds, and tests. They have online ordering with great discounts for purchases and coupons through email, or you can pick up at the office. They have been a stable part of our family and fur kids for many years and will be for many many more!

I use Kensington Vet for our birds and rabbit. They do not have late hours and are only open until noon on Saturday. I have always been very pleased with them. It's a small office so I wouldn't be comfortable taking our pitbull there. I would highly recommend them for small animals including cats and small dogs.

Other places wanted to do $80 physicals on this $15 bird before clipping; Kensington didn’t insist On it, but they made me fully aware of a possible problem Moe might have that us causing an overgrown beak, so we’ll be keeping an eye on Him

This is the best expirience I've had with a vet in my 20 years of being a pet owner. The staff is always really nice to both the humans and the animals, and they are good at explaining everything in a way I can understand. They are so good with my hedgehog and handle her better than me. The pricing is also extremely reasonable. It is very obvious that they care about the animals and their health more than making money. I will absolutely be returning, and I recommend it to anyone with a pet, especially hedgehog owners
