Our one and a half year old Black Labrador Retriever Blue LOVES High Ridge Animal Hospital. Friendly staff, great doctors and yummy dog cookies! From a simple nail trimming, a physical exam to surgery, it has been a pleasure to go there for all our dogs needs for years now (My husband's family has been taking their pets there for probably about 40 years!) I would highly recommend this veterinary facility to anyone in need of high quality veterinarian pet care!

Missy with black cat on the photo is the best assistant vet I ever met. She is caring with the animals and very knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions and helping the pet owners. Karen at the front desk is great, caring and always answering questions quickly. Missy and Karen are always contributing a great deal at making my experience at this place worth the $. I tried many vet places in Stamford and thanks to them this is the best one. Dr Sullivan is also a fantastic Vet there. I truly believe that this place would not be the same without Missy.

Everyone at High Ridge cares about your pets, from the super friendly and caring staff at the front desk to the wonderful vet techs to the knowledgeable doctors. All of the doctors are impressive and wonderful, but I have spent the most time Dr. Galanski and she takes time to explain, gives you options, and spends time with you on any questions you may have! There have been many times I have called them on a whim and they have made sure both dogs are okay and kept an eye on them all day while I was at work. She has come up with treatment plans to keep both of my 13 year old munchkins happy and healthy for now despite cancer and heart disease and I could not be happier. Definitely pay a visit here, you will not regret it and you will be thankful your pets are in such great hands! Thank you all so very much for this continued wonderful experience! Thankful to you.

We have been bringing our dogs to High Ridge Animal Hospital for over 20 years. The staff are some of the most caring people you can ask for. They treat your animals like they are their own and they advise you on treatments, or not, accordingly. They are very informative and I must say that over the years we have been bringing our dogs there I have received quite an education. If you love your animals I don't believe you can find a better place for them for treatment and boarding.

We had an appointment for our cat, exam + rabies shot. Cat was an established patient.They took the cat away and gave it the shot but said they were too busy for the exam.The cat was in distress and we asked that at least the vet feel for the lump we found. They said, no time, make an appointment for a full work up. We took the poor guy to another vet and after exam, lymphoma was the diagnosis. Cat had to be put down. Since this practice has changed ownership they place $$$ ahead of compassion. My advice, find a vet that cares for your pet over their profits.

love love love Dr. Shattuck and all the vets here. They are super sweet to my Molly, they hop on the phone when needed, and I have found they go above and beyond. I also appreciate that their prices are reasonable and they don't make you feel like a bad person when you take that into account when thinking about procedures and medications. Highly recommend!!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience here! We called as we were in the process to adopt a dog and the receptionist was very helpful and explained what we would need to do once we had her. Once we got our wonderful Gracie, I called again and they allowed us to drop off her medical forms at our convenience and setting up her initial appointment (physical and refill of medications the shelter had given us only a month's supply of) was a breeze. Once we got there for our first visit the check in process was easy. We were only in the waiting room for a total of 10 minutes so things must run very smoothly. The staff is lovely and all of them clearly have a love for animals. We saw Dr. Dianna Shattuck. She is great at her job, found a heart murmur that previous vets were unable to find, and reassured us on how Gracie's further treatment would go. Getting a refill of her medications was easy and they can print out an invoice for you to send for pet insurance claims if you have insurance. Overall a great experience with people who really care about their jobs and the animals! Would highly recommend.

If I could give no stars I would, for the most part everyone was very sweet to my dog. Karen at the front desk was a complete angel with him and when we called she was very considerate and helpful. But my dogs care from Dr Schattuck was absolutely horrible, she gave him a pill that caused him to have neurological issues and caused him to not be able to stand up, we had to bring him to New york city for an MRI and it turns out it was just a pill ($7000.00 later). And then 4 months later he started bleeding from his nose and somehow he had an aggressive brain tumor- he just had a full body scan and they found nothing...If you love your dog don't bring them to see her!

I have no complaints for the service the Veterinarians have provided at high ridge animal hospital. But the poor service the front desk offers. I have been talked down to, and ignored by the girls at the front desk. Good service begins at the front desk, and if you have ignorant rude receptionist how do you expect to have clients come back? I do not recommend this place, I currently go to Davis Animal hospital and they are far more interested in keeping clients there; than Dr. Garman is.

I can't say enough great things about High Ridge Animal Hospital. Staff are so friendly, and all the techs/Vets are amazing. With my busy work schedule I don't always have the time to schedule an appointment days in advance. There have been several times where I was able to call for an appointment and conveniently be scheduled for a visit that same day. I highly recommend!

They are NOT GOOD for small animals! They charged me 50$ to see a guy who on the website says nothing about treating small animals, and who I feel mishandled my pet, gave me advice that would cause issues with my rats' respiratory system, and in general had a poor bedside manner, where he rushed to get me out of the room and deal with me. I feel he invalidated my very real concerns and knew very little about rats, or disliked them enough that he didn't care about my pet's health enough to listen to my concerns. The rest of the staff was perfectly kind and even reassured me over the phone and answered questions Dr. Brzoska himself didn't give me a chance to ask. Also, at the time I thought my rat was having seizures, and he said that they were probably "stomach aches" that were causing her to violently throw herself around the cage (which is totally against rat behavior and bizarre to suggest), and because of that decided to test for giardia- it turns out they did have it, though there is no difference now that they are cured and before they were treated, so I'm pretty sure they were asymptomatic. I'm probably not ever going to go back if I can avoid it because my experiences with Dr. Brzoska specifically. I went to East Shore Veterinary Hospital today which was a much better experience, because not only was the staff perfect, Dr. Cieplik was everything Dr. Brzoska wasn't, and more. The price was also almost 20$ cheaper at 36$.

I was recommended by a friend to come to High Ridge Animal Hospital and I was not disappointed! The Vets, nurses and staff overall are the friendliest people I've met and they care so much about the pets that come through the doors. They have a cute welcome sign each day for each pet coming in - nice touch! I've never had issues here and always feel like they will take the time to answer any/all of my questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I chose High Ridge Animal hospital as they were recommended to me. I was a new dog mommy and Shadow is a rescue dog. Our first visit in May of this year was thorough and Dr. G appeared very competent and is! I have had reasons to call and questions were always handled with courtesy even though I am a novice and called with questions which experienced pet owners know. Yesterday I was in total fear as Shadow couldn't move. We made it in and Dr.G and Missy were caring and compassionate. Dr. G performed the necessary tests and found it was Lyme disease. The meds were effective overnight and my precious Shadow is perky, walking, eating, did her business. Yes, I give High Ridge Animal Hospital 10 stars. Thank you Dr. G for your expertise!!

Starting taking 100lb mis bread dog here when I moved in the area. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Have enjoyed my visits. The only down side parking is tight and limited.

This hospital is not trained properly to provide fear-free care for your animal. This center also appears to be lacking accreditation by the AAHA, which is a modern standard for animal hospitals. Dr. Brzoska was disrespectful, confrontational, and lacking empathy. If you're looking for an old-school and unprofessional veterinary experience, go here.

We've been taking our golden lab Yuki here for 11+ yrs. This place has the most knowledgeable, friendly & caring experts and the customer experience is always positive. Last week, Yuki wasn't eating and not only did I get an appt within 2 hrs (late on a Fri PM) but the vet tech, Erin was able to immediately calm Yuki to get her to stop shaking from nervousness. Dr. Murphy is also amazing, explaining everything thoroughly and recommending a cost-conscious, step-by-step plan for treatment and diagnosis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The doctors at High Ridge Animal Hospital are been great. We've been taking our dog there for 10 years now, and they have seen him through many medical conditions such as allergies, ear infections, arthritis, even eating a stuffed animal as a puppy. They're knowledgeable, attentive, and caring. Dr Shattuck is our primary physician there, and she's terrific. We've seen all of them though through the years, and highly recommend each of them. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.

Many thanks to Michael and Dr. Galanski for their compassion and sympathy as we said goodbye to our beloved Rascal yesterday. They helped make a difficult time as peaceful and comforting as possible. I made a mistake by not knowing that my follow up appointment there was a charge for so I left. The girl at the desk comes running out after me frantic like I'm trying to RIP them off. So I go back inside and the nurse accuses me that there is always a problem that I dont pay. I WAS VERY OFFENDED. I have been going to them for 8 years. DONT GO HERE THEY ARE A RIPOFF!!! 300 dollars for an ear infection. GO NEXT DOOR TO RIPPAWAM!!!

Helpful, thorough and conscientious! My appointment was right on time and I got every minute of Dr. Shattuck's attention. She was very thorough and helpful, outlined our treatment options very clearly and was very straight-forward. I believe we got the best possible attention and service. Dr. Shattuck was clearly a professional and was excited to share her knowledge and expertise so that we would be fully prepared and informed to take the best care of our cat. She was also very considerate in dealing with our cat who has been very skittish and even attacked other vets, but our cat warmed right up to her and remained friendly even after a painful vaccination. We will be bringing our cat back for anything that comes up in the future. Thank you Dr. Shattuck, and everyone who took such good care of us!
