Just make sure you take your checkbook......ridiculously high rates for simple procedures.....$38 for a bath? $18 to trim nails? Unnecessary vaccines to board to run up your bill just because it's "their policy"? The women in the office must be trained as salespeople because they constantly badger you for additional services when you just want to drop off the dogs for boarding. I was new to the area and I picked them out of a phone book. Do yourself and your bank account a favor.....go somewhere else.

Sure, I'll leave a review. This establishment is money hungry, dishonest and unprofessional. Rude reception on top of that. A vet at this establishment is responsible for the loss of part of my cats tail. When I threatened to get a lawyer, she called me and my cat a charity case. Horrible people here.

Dr. Stephanie Bogart is fantastic!!!! My dog (silky terrier) Mugsy has been having seizures for over a year and half now. He had 4 seizures within a short span of time. The love and care that my dog received from Dr. Stephanie Bogart was so amazing. I called the office on Sunday at 12:30, the office was closing in 30 minutes ( l live 30 minutes away ) the staff told me to still come and Dr. Bogart will see your dog. Dr. Bogart took the time to educate me about my dog's condition, she also gave me all the avenues we could chose from to help him get better. I am a mother of 5 children and their health of course is very important to me and their doctor of course had to be the best! Well, I'm telling you all right now bringing your pet to this office is the best choice you will ever make for your pet. Brookfield animal hospital has the best doctors for my dogs and I trust my pets are getting the best care that they desire. Let's face it....it's like having 2 more kids in the house! The result of our great experience.... I have transferred my dogs medical records from our previous vet to Brookfield animal hospital. We couldn't be any happier and Mugsy is feeling fantastic...

They've become too big... they're not "hungry" any longer. Made attempt to have K9 seen for rapid onset of immobity AND not eating. Business "opens" (supposedly)at 8 am. Was informed by receptionist that Doctor doesn't come in until 9 am.... AND... that first appointment was not until 2:45. I have (or should I say "had") 5 dogs being attended to by this office and spend some considerable money there. Not looking for ANY special arrangements or treatment, ... but this was somewhat of an emergency and needed something sooner than a 2:45... THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS.....

This place is unbelievably awful. They are looking to jack your bill up from the second you walk through the door. They train their people to up sell and its the same song and dance no matter which person you get (sales robots). My dog went in for boarding perfectly healthy and came out several days later with an ear infection and what seems to be a UTI. I called to voice my concerns as a long time customer. I was directed to an office manager (Joan). From the very second she got on the phone with me she was defensive and argumentative. She proceeded to accuse me of being rude to her staff and neglecting my animals. Which is absolutely absurd and quite frankly shocking. Bottom line hear is that there are many places you can take your animals for boarding and care. Think twice before you bring them here!

I was very happy with the care my dog received at Brookfield Animal Hospital. We saw Dr. Salvatore, and he took a genuine interest in my dog's symptoms, he talked through his thoughts on diagnosis and treatment, and he was very friendly and professional. I feel like the doctor and the staff put in the extra time and care to make sure I felt good, and my dog was well cared for. I would recommend these folks without reservation.

My shepherd is hard to handle, dominate, territorial and high energy. He stayed two nights and was SPOILED ROTTON by the staff , didn't want to leave. The staff at BAH LOVED him and he LOVED them! Prices are NOT high so idk what the above are taking about. Gormet bisquies, ortho bed and for only a few dollars more they send you pics and texts everyday and one on one playtime several times a day. I love this place. ...I trust them like i trust my family...

Dr. Baxter takes care of my pups as if they were her own. She returns every phone call and takes as much time as is needed to care for my fur babies. I would not trust just anyone to care for my two pups. I am beyond grateful we found her and couldn’t imagine what we would do without her!!!! I cannot thank you enough for the care and genuine concern Jordan and Huarache have received from her. She not only cares for our puppies but realizes that they are part of our family and that is a trait that is not easy to find.

Recently I had to put two of our pets down. Both were older pets, but that doesn't make it any easier to have to make that dreaded decision. We were very fortunate to have both Sage and Luke for the 16 wonderful years we did. We also consider ourselves very lucky to have such a good animal hospital right here in Brookfield. As I sat down to write this review, to thank the doctors and staff at Brookfield Animal Hospital, for being so caring and compassionate, as well as for the beautiful letter the sent us, and the generous contribution they made to Cornell in Sage's and Luke's memory. I was surprised to see a review that in my opinion was frankly difficult to believe that this could be an accurate representation of someone's experience with this practice. This practice always gives a quote to the client, that must be signed by the client, before any type of treatment is given. I can't speak for other clients. I can speak for the many friends and family members that have been going to this practice for as long as I can remember. There prices are comparable to the other area veterinarians. But most importantly, they care about your pet as well as the pets owner. Not to mention that the staff is amazing! Your pet receives the best care from top notch Doctors, and the staff is easy to work with. Can't ask for more than that! Thanks Brookfield Animal Hospital! Sincerely, Kathy McKean

Lynsay Baxter is a very unexperienced and unknowledgeable vet. I brought my doggie in because her front paw was hurting. Right away she tells me we need to test her for Lyme disease? Really? Then she poked and prodded her for an hour while my dog was in so much pain and intense. Then she gives us pain medication and anti-inflammatory and lets us go. I called her on the weekend which was 4 days later and told her that my dog wasn't any better and wanted to bring her in but she only said to me to continue giving her the meds and she gave me emergency phone number? Really? She didn't take her condition seriously and didn't offer us any further steps to try to get to root of the problem . What are the meds supposed to do? My baby was still in so much pain and discomfort . The next day my dog lost control of her limps and she couldn't walk anymore. Brought her in to another doctor in the same group and he sent us to a neurologist. They found a tumor in her spine but they couldn't do anything because she was on the freaking anti-inflammatory that Baxter given her and they had to wean her off first. That alone got the condition so much worse as it was a fast growing tumor .My dog didn't improve and had to put her to sleep after 4 days.Baxter contributed in her death. My in-laws had warned me that Brookfield Animal Hospital was responsible for the death of their dog. I guess I should have listened.

I have to say that everyone at Brookfield Animal Hospital really does care about your family members both 2 legged and 4 legged. I have used them for about 15 years and they have always been kind, attentive and loving to all of my pets. I had to put my 1st dog down after we found out he had cancer, they were there from the beginning to the end with Jack my sweet boy #1 and then we got Rocky who loved going to visit his cookie friends at Brookfield Animal Hospital. We have had Rocky for 10 years, then I was willed my mother-in-laws dog Rooney, he also enjoyed going to see his friends at Brookfield Animal Hospital. All the Dr.'s took wonderful care of them, they always explained everything that was going on with them. Rocky was not himself one day and I took him to see Dr. Bogart (whom I love dearly) and sweet boy #2's symptoms did not help trying to figure out why he was acting funny. She took blood and gave him antibiotic for his fever. Rocky did not recover from what ever ailed him. Rocky passes in his sleep in his own bed at home. Sometimes Dr.'s no matter for humans or animals don't have all the answers there are just something's that can't be answered. Everyone at Brookfield Animal Hospital really cared about my sweet boy and always showed compassion, love and always helped the family members with laughter or with hugs. I love them and will continue to use them throughout the years. We are happy to say that since Rocky passed on Feb 3, 2106 we have decided to rescue another puppy and give it a loving home and take it to the BEST VET around Brookfield Animal Hospital. Thank you to the staff and Dr.'s for all the help with all of our animals. I love you all and will HIGHLY recommend you to all of my friends and family.

from the moment we walked in I felt welcomed and cared for. the staff take genuine interest in our pets. I have the upmost trust in this place. True, it is not a budget facility. Also true- they have always been up front with costs, going over each and every treatment, vaccine and test to make sure I am aware of any costs, and allowing me to decline any treatment or test if I choose. I am grateful to Dr. Baxter for giving us excellent care. She spent so much time with us, answered all of my questions, and really showed how much she loves what she does.

The doctors are very nice here. They take their time with you which is why I like this place. However, they recently raised the price of a nail trim to $19.50 plus tax. Based on the fact I have spent thousands of dollars there having the teeth removed from 3 pets over the last 5 years, I asked them to lower the price of the nail clipping because I couldn't afford this new high price. Their reply was, bring your dog in for a checkup and we'll give you %10 off the nail clippings. That translates into, Spend $60 on a check up and save $2 on a nail clipping. Instead of insulting me like that, they should have just said no.

I never used this veterinary office before today I didn't even know what to expect. My beautiful cat "Bella" had gotten sick last week. she wasn't eating or drinking any thing. I knew I had to make the hardest decision ever. As she was an older cat. The staff were so comforting and the vet Stephanie was there with me as I said my goodbyes. We've been bringing our multi-pet family to BAH for over a decade. Our dogs and cats have run the gauntlet of medical issues: torn ACL, hyperactive thyroid, tooth infection, failing liver, failing kidney, tumors, dislocated hip, abscesses galore, arthritis, and so on. In 2009 (long before this was available at other local vet hospitals), BAH offered laser therapy to treat our dog's arthritis. When one of our cats, the one with a heart murmur, had a bad abscess that would normally be treated surgically, BAH used laser therapy to heal the abscess so our cat wouldn't have to undergo anesthesia. The vets have consistently offered us different treatment options, from conservative to aggressive, and spent a lot of time to answer our questions about the pros and cons of each treatment. It's a shame to hear some have not have a positive experience, as we've always felt BAH has a very caring attitude and real affection for our pets.

One elderly lab who eventually had to be put to sleep, was treated with the utmost compassion and gentle care. The office is modern and clean. We have been patients of BAH for several years for two dogs, one who is elderly and fragile, one young and bouncy and one cat. The care we have received has been the best of any veterinary hospital we've ever used. The vets are kind, professional, approaching our pets needs in a logical and careful manner, the staff is friendly, professional and wonderful with the animals. This week however, they went above and beyond for us. We brought our young, bouncy dog in because she had lost her bounce, Dr Bogart assessed her carefully and identified a life threatening condition that required immediate surgery. Under her care and guidance our Mika's life was saved! The emergency surgery was a success, we understood the risks and what was happening, we were well prepared for any outcome but the outcome we were given was THE BEST POSSIBLE!!! The staff was just amazing, beyond professional, kind, clear, compassionate, all you would hope for. We have used many vets over the years, searching for a practice that would care for our pets in just the way BAH cares. If you are looking for a professional, highly qualified practice with staff that treats you with care and compassion, this is the veterinary practice for you. We can only say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the return of our precious pup!
