This is also a day spa for dogs and our dog loves this place. The staff is amazing and grounds are very nice. I highly recommend checking it out. Dog groomer and animal hospital on site as well.

I had an "almost" emergency with my cat. This was the first time going to them. They saw me right away and even called to get the records sent from our previous pet. They were extremely kind and friendly. Took good care of my cat and called twice after our visit to check up on him. The vet was fantastic. Really good and down to earth guy. They treated our cat wonderfully. I would suggest them to anyone.

My dogs are old patients of Dr. Fedorich's. I own Vizslas, most of which compete in confirmation and competition obedience. Dr. Fedorich was my vet for 7 years while living in Ct. and I would not trust anyone else with my dogs but him. His compassion, knowledge and guidance was always superior. Since I bred and competed with my dogs and did not just keep them as house pets, he was sensitive enough to work me through a vet regimen that most breeders find vets wont do. His commitment to the medicine and knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge and spend the time explaining even the most mundane particulars was so appreciated. He cared about my animals as much as I did. What I admired most was that if he did not know something or it was not something within his regular scope of practice he was humble enough to recommend who to consult with to get the best treatment. He saw me thru two deaths, both of which would have been much worse had it not been for him, and he saw me thru one successful breeding. His compassion during my loss and his personal attempt to guide me thru my dogs illnesses sets him far above any other vet I can think of. His facility is state of the art, but his knowledge grows along with it which is very important. Take away the machines and you still have to know how to practice your craft. He is exceptional at his craft in my humble opinion. I would not recommend any other vet in the shoreline area other than Dr. Fedorich.

Dr Fedorich and his team have been consistently caring and responsive with my cats. They have nursed more than one cat through some serious health issues, they are always careful to explain options and accommodating of our needs. Big plus is that they have a boarding facility attached to the hospital - that has been helpful to us for taking care of our cats who needed daily meds while we were traveling away from home.

I've been taking my dog Bosley to Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook and daycare since 2014 and won't take him anywhere else. Dr Fedorich treated him for white shaker syndrome and got him healthy. Bos goes to doggie daycare 3 to 5 times a week and literally pulls me inside and scratches at the door to get in. There is no better place. Daycare staff are great as well and watch over the pups and give them a lot of attention. Try them you won't regret it!! PamT

Robbery. To get a cat spayed you have to pay $200+ to vaccinate and then another $800+ to have her fixed. A grand to help Keep the population of these things under control. Absolutely ridiculous and excessive. This is manipulating animal lovers and bamboozling them out of their money. Stay away or better yet, don’t get animals as long as there are Shysters like this out there.

The Vet Dr. Federich and some of his staff feel challenged easily with questions of why certain things are being done. Felt that I was a problem when I simply asked if I could keep my cat in his carrier bc he gets anxious and aggressive if he is out too long. Insert eye roll and deep sigh from tech. Won't be going back.

The staff is great! very compassionate with both my dogs when we had to put one down and the other was grieving. During financial hardship they were also very understanding. I truly recommend them. The place is immaculate too!

Our chocolate lab received top notch care at Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook. Dr. Fedorich is caring and compassionate and his staff is cheerful and attentive. Rooms are all bright and clean. I recently toured the brand new boarding facility they call the "Inn and Spa" and must say it is also top notch and stands head and shoulder above others I've seen. Highly recommend.

An unplanned dog adoption meant finding a vet and fast! We were referred by a friend and couldn’t be more pleased and impressed by the office. We take our pup for both routine visits and over night stays. We especially love how detailed and thorough they are with exams. We always leave feeling fully informed and our dog is always happy.
