Took an hour to see a vet for a scheduled appointment.

The staff and doctors truly care about their patients and take the time to make sure everything is addressed. I recommend Dr Birkholz! And Dr Hov for cats!

Michelle Stoddard

Really friendly and helpful and very professional. I've been taking my pets for years and I've always appreciated them. Thank you so much!

Kristy Anderson

This was my first time with this vet. Excellent receptionist, prices were less than others I called, and did very well with my cat. I also liked the cleanliness of their office.

If I could rate negative stars, I would. Horribly over priced for simple procedures, and they get downright hostile when you tell them so. They repeatedly try to find ways to charge you for extra things that you don't want or need, and traumatized my poor cat :( After remarking how wonderfully calm and docile my little cat was, they then tried to claim that the was scratching and biting the staff so badly that they were unable to perform the procedure (lancing an abscess on her ear) without full sedation and "box restraint", and that she would need to be quarantined for ten days. The full bill for everything they were trying to charge me for (remember, this is lancing an abscess on a cat's ear...) was well over $700 and they had a goddamn CHOKER LEASH on my cat when I told them forget it, I was going somewhere else. I have never seen anything like this place, and I can't even believe this happened. BEWARE!!!

It's always hard to find a good vet as our pets are like family, but we truly love this place. The vet, the techs, and the girls up front are all wonderful. It's super welcoming and they are extremely accommodations to our schedules. They always follow up on the health of our pets and our puppy actually enjoys going to see his "vet friends". I always recommend this place to friends and families.

I'm sad to give a bad review especially since I've been taking my pets to N Academy Vet Hospital for 16 yrs. However, my husband and I have both experienced problems with the front desk. It has been difficult to get prescriptions filled because of front desk error and most recently when a mistake was made it was handled very unprofessionally. After 16 years I will be changing vets.

I’ve been taking my pets to this vet office and have seen several different doctors and each time my animals were well taken care of. The staff is usually very friendly and docs are very nice. They do offer a military discount which is nice and helpful. Dr. Hehn is great with my animals and is willing to answer all my questions about my pets and their care.

I don't even know how to express how bad this veterinary practice is, if that's what you can even call it. I took my new puppy there for a wellness check and learned that he needed some medication. Got through the initial round of meds and went back in for a follow-up. Was told that the original problem was taken care of, but there was another problem that required him to go through another round of meds. When I tried to ask questions, I was basically ignored. Got through the second round of meds and took a fecal in for a follow-up check. Received a call from the hospital saying that everything was clear and was asked if he still had soft stool. He did, so they automatically put him on another round of meds, for a longer duration...now having him on meds for essentially a month out of a month-and-a-half. Fast forward seven days, on round three of the meds, my puppy stops eating and has liquid stool. Call the hospital and one of the now three different doctors I've dealt with calls me back. During the conversation the doctor says that his last fecal was not clear (so now someone has lied to me about results) and proceeds to try scare tactics about my puppy's health in order to get me to rush him in for more 'tests' and 'treatments'. When I asked if having him on these meds for such a long time could cause this, I was basically told 'not possible' and to continue giving him two of the three meds he was on. Yeah, right...he wasn't even eating. I stopped the meds and slowly got my puppy eating again. His appetite came back in a couple of days, and his stools went back to being soft, but normal. I got him in to see another veterinarian at another hospital, only to confirm that in fact his fecal was clear. So, was my puppy given unnecessary medications? Most likely. The veterinarian said the meds he was on were mild and shouldn't have caused those problems, but if he has a sensitive stomach it could create an issue. Apparently something that was too much for the veterinarians at NAV to comprehend. It was also too much for them to take into consideration that he was a four-month-old teething puppy. Not once was it recommended to me by them to try changing his food, probiotics, or canned pumpkin to help with his soft stool. But thanks to the other veterinarian, it's no longer an issue. NAV wanted to run more tests and have specially compounded meds made for him. Irrational much?! Through all of this, I never once received a follow-up call to see how my puppy was doing. DVMs? That's questionable. From what I experienced they like to use methods like scare tactics, guilt and shaming to try and generate more business. My puppy is doing much better now, but no thanks to NAV. It scares me to think what else they would have tried to 'treat' him for if I hadn't called bullshit.

Alright, let's start by saying I love this vet clinic with all my heart. They have been the most compassionate and caring vet office I've ever been to. My fur babies have been taken care of by a few of the different vets that they have there but one stands out above all. Forgive me because I'm terrible with names but she's the "cat lady" vet lol. And having a fellow cat lady care for my babies always warms my heart. They all truly care about your pets when they come in But she especially has a big heart for the kitties. I first went there to get one of my cats spayed and unfortunately her incision site got infected about a week later ( my cat wouldnt stop biting her stiches). I took her to the emergency vet at first since it was after hours and they were going to charge me over $1000 because the infection had gotten bad internally. I didnt realise how bad it was because the outside was not too bad. Well i couldnt afford that So I called VCA right when they opened in the morning. They got me in same day and really helped me out financially. I was so worried i was going to have to put my baby down but the "cat lady" vet went above and beyond saving my baby and i cant thank her enough for that. The front office staff and all the vet techs are also amazing. They always want to say hi to your babies and are totally understanding when your curious as all hell cat refuses to stay in their carrier. Most vets demand you keep them in there but they understand sometimes theres no telling a cat what to do Lol. As far as some of these negative posts go, 2 things you need to understand. 1. Yes sometimes a quoted price on the phone is not the same price you end up paying. Well DUH it's QUOTED! Your pet could need more or less when they get there so yea prices can change. Dont be an idiot. Quoted prices only include what they think you need while youre on the phone. The vet could notice something once they examine your pet. Again, DUH. 2. I saw some people complaining about wait times.... Well again, dont be an idiot. This is a vet clinic. Not a doctors office. Sometimes pets dont want to cooperate with the vets and an appointment that should have only been 30 min now took a hr. It happens. All in all, remember vets and vet techs dont become vets or techs for the money. They do it because they love animals and want to help animals. And this vet clinic reminds me of that every single time I'm in there with my babies.

Krystal Bailey

Make sure you ask what you will be charged before taking your pet back. A follow-up shot was billed as a check-up so 100 dollars later, lesson learned. They will not check on charges either before running your card.

Lauren Soito

I absolutely love this clinic! Every time I bring my pet, Chance, here it's a great experience. Today we saw Dr. Dorsett, and she was wonderful. She was professional and good about making Chance feel comfortable. The rest of the staff here are have such a positive attitude, they're informative, and seem genuinely happy to be there. As long as we live in the springs this will be our fo to vet Clinic.

Dr. Birkholz is amazing. She took excellent care of our family dog who struggled with many health issues. I would highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and sweet.

Dr. John Adams has cared for our dogs since we came to Colorado in 1994. He has become more than our Veterinarian, he is our friend. Dr. John has always been respectful of our love for our pets and has cared for them with respect and dignity. Not just a Doctor who carefully examines and prescribes, John has shown us more than once his skill as a surgeon when the need arose. Whether involving one of our Miniature Schnauzers or one of our Bouvier, we feel comfortable with them being in the hands of Dr. John Adams and his equally competent and caring staff.

Edward Thompson

My husband and I have been taking Kit, our Sheltie, to North Academy Veterinary Hospital for four years. All of the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Adams performed two surgeries on Kit. Both surgeries were very successful and she is a happy, healthy four year old dog.

Tyler Litchhult

Omg. Just the best. Had a flight and was taking dog but needed vaccine shot. Squeezed us in and was so friendly in an pressed situation. So thankful

When I first met my forever friend, Bruce, I also met an amazing veterinarian. I picked him up after a large rescue performed by National Mill Dog Rescue. There was one veterinarian there and they were from North Academy. Seeing that person volunteer their time to help such a great cause gave me comfort that they would treat Bruce with the same level of care. My vet recommended to get trupanion pet insurance in Bruce's first visit and boy am I glad they did. He is a very active dog and unfortunately has arthritis at the ripe old age of 1. His meds and treatments have been covered since day 1 and it has saved me a lot of money. Through being neutered, dental exams, sliced paw pads, and behavioral problems, the vets at this clinic have been nothing but amazing to Bruce and I (and our wallets). Being a privately owned, they always make time and are never too busy. All the vets there treat Bruce as if he was their own. Their attention to detail and level of care is unmatched. I highly recommend this practice and trupanion pet insurance

The staff at North Academy Vet have always been extremely professional and caring when it comes to the treatment of my pets. I have recommended them to my friends and family, and many of them use their services. Sometimes my dog and I come by just to say hello and get a treat!

Kane Garcia

This Vet Hospital was great, Dr. Birkholz was wonderful. She had awesome bed side manner with my (AKITA) puppy. Always very friendly and welcoming. Military friendly.

Pam Diaz

We love the staff at North Academy Vet Hospital. They are very caring and concerned about our pet and have provided outstanding care. Highly recommend them to everyone!

A huge shout out to everyone at VCA! Thank you for taking such excellent care of my puppy. Dr. Birkholz and Dr. Hehn are WONDERFUL. You helped me with my fears when it came to my puppy to giving me a ton of options of care. Thank you to all the wonderful gals that answer the phone and will take time out of their day to answer every single one of my questions. YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Princess Katnip

I have been going to VCA North Academy since I was adopted by my owner, around June of 2013. They saved my life, and I will FURever be thankful! Yes things get busy, but their #1 concern is animal health, so they take time for EACH and EVERY patient! If you need anything, and I mean ANYTHING, all you really need to do is ASK! These people went without lunch and held their bladders for me so I could have my dental procedure (and my teeth were NASTY I tell ya)! They stay late, spend lots of nights thinking about their patients, and are willing to go above and beyond for these animals. They truly are compassionate people! Thank You VCA NORTH ACADEMY for letting me live a longer, happier life!

Peggy Rinehart

I had never been there before and I had a dog that was bleeding out of her bottom but I remember that there was a hospital close by and my vet had refused to see her because they were too booked I walked in hoping they could help me nobody was in there so I was pretty happy about that I didn't think there would be a long wait they said oh sorry we can't see her we're too booked I ask them if this was a hospital they said yes but we're too booked I said there's nobody in here and they had nothing to say what kind of veterinary hospital or veterinary clinic does not see an animal that is bleeding I can't figure this out Buxton did the same thing to me so I'm changing over to High plains veterinary hospital because they're the ones who have always come through for me and I wished I would have changed a long time ago...but I certainly would never go here in an emergency whether it says hospital or not save time and go somewhere else .. it could save your dog's life

Vca North Academy Vet Hospital is extremely inconsistent and has poor practices/customer service. My girlfriend and I called and inquired on cost of spaying our dog. When we called we were quoted ~180 plus or minus a little depending on if she was in heat. We drop her off under the assumption that with taxes we were looking at a cost of around $200. My girlfriend calls me in tears while at work because the "around $180" turned into $293 and change. I called the vet and inquired why when we were quoted a price it ended up being one and a half times the cost. The lady's response on the phone was "well she weighs 56 pounds and at 55 and over the cost is $270. The worst thing is my invoice says i should have been charged $293.10 but the lady who ran my card over the phone decided to tip herself and ran my card for $295 and change. I have informed my entire family of what happened so the 10+ animals we have combined will be looking for a more consistent and professional vet.

Started off happy with the place. But then my boxer developed some type off cancer and had to have surgery. When i was called by the doctor to bring him back for a checkup, i was checked in and waited over a hr before someone finally asked if i was waiting to check out and hadn't even been seen yet. I ended up leaving without my Boxer even being looked at after his surgery. This was at the end of July and to this day still no call with a apology. Horrible customer service on my end!!!

Mariah Fast

Before giving my dogs vaccines i asked for pricing i was told one price and then at check out i was told something completely different i asked to speak with the nurse so i could comfront her but she didnt want to come back out. They were extremely expensive i paid $400 for each dog to recieve a parvo and rabies shot. And to make things worse they were more interested in each others conversation then helping their patients. I will never come her again!

I have a dog, who's abdomen all of a sudden began to appear swollen. Took him there for a check up, they did Xrays and told me he has gas and fat, and he is healthy. Now, a while later I ended up taking him to ER because he had too much blood in his urine. As it turned out, he has cancer, and the reason for a swallen abdomen is his enlarged spleen! Because it's been a while, now it's too late to do any kind of cancer treatment! The spleen developped a mass which enlarged overtime and raptured! But had they caught it back when I took him there for a check up, my dog would not have to suffer! Needless to say, I will never use this vet clinic again!

Danielle Longmire

I think she said her name was Kitty, or something close to that. But she made me feel like my puppy was going to get a really amazing family treatment when I was mistreated by a previous vet horribly. I was compelled at that point to immediately make an appointment. This practice obviously knows what they're doing because their work family sounds so happy. You hardly see that anymore.I can't wait for my tiny dancer's exam. ♡

Trent Knox

They are great with your animals and really care. The only downside is they will quote you one price over the phone and charge you a different one in office.

Tiffany Schooley

I was considering taking my dog to Bansfield until my boss recommended this place to me. It is worth every penny. They veterinarians really get to know your animal, give great advice and they truly care for your pets. We rescued our puppy and she was very sick - they took care of her and even gave us extra free deworming meds "just to be safe". When we had to get a spay/neuter extension our doctor even cited three specific sources as to why German Shepherd mixes need to wait at least 6 mo to be fixed. I like that I never have to worry if Remmi is getting the best care :)

Catherine KittieKat Medlin-Crete

It was great the staff is so very friendly the doctor that saw our dog was amazing and our dog likes to go there and they're very helpful you have any questions they can answer them.

Barb Clark

Extremely expensive. Eager to take your money but not relay information. I waited for 5 days to get the results of a blood test that should have taken just 24 hours to receive. I called every day to get the results before a vet condescended to relay them to me. Don't take your pets here. They overcharge and all they care about is the money. They don't care about the pets at all. Thank goodness my pet is healthy.

Ariaa Jaeger

These folks are amazing! I have taken my pets to the Briargate branch for years. Dr. Rothstein went far and above in skills and professionalism to take care of my 3 year old Chihuahua recently. His kindness and expertise were invaluable and I would not entrust my 2 doggies to anyone else but him. The staff is equally exceptional! They are warm, inviting and compassionate. If you need good pet care go somewhere else. If you want the BEST care then take your pets here!

Susan Fraser

Been going here over 20 years. We've gone through a lot with our cats and dogs - diabetes, cancer, cuts, injuries. Everyone is very caring and compassionate - they love my pets and treat them as their own. The prices are very reasonable - care is superb.

Terri Nunnelley

North Academy Vet Hospital has served our family for 30 plus years. We have received great care from all or the veterinarians and their staff. Thanks for being there for our family and pets!

Celeste Leyvas

Overall a wonderful experience I have come a few different times with my pets. For the care we recieved for our ferrets 5 out of 5. The vet who specializes in them is truly amazing, caring, and is incredibly knowledgeable. Absolutely love her as our vet. For the care we received for our Siberian husky is why I would rate them as a 4 out of 5. The vet who saw my dog the first three times could not give me any help and we had to keep coming back visit after visit, this became costly. This carried on till the vet who sees our ferrets looked at our dog and was able to help. All of my pets are now healthy and happy. Front desk management and customer service spot on and always a delight to see. Very professional and kind. This facility also offers military discount which is a plus. Thank you for our pet care!

Dr joya is the best veterinarian in the world. The staff is very caring. They offer great comfort and do a great job taking care of fur babies. I highly recommend this vet.

Candace Hoskins

Scheduled an appointment for our new pup! Great service. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. The assistant was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The doctor also provided great information and recommendations. The staff was very gentle with our new family member. The office was very clean and tidy.

I’ve been taking my cat to NAV for three years. Dr. Birkholz has always been wonderful. I took him back in three months ago because he was showing signs of a cold. This revealed tumors in his lungs. I was told he has one-two months and there was nothing else they could do; the only help is in Denver. The front staff told me they come down every Tuesday for appointments. Once I explored that option, they said they’ve never been to CO Springs and that they don’t travel. I was referred to Powers Pet ER for an ultrasound to confirm and my experience there was less than acceptable. I was told the report was going to be sent to NAV and I would be called the next day – I waited a week and firmly demanded to speak to a vet regarding the results. Turned out to be a waste of money. The NAV techs also lightly groom my cat and that revealed signs of fleas; black residue visibly all over his fur. They said nothing about it – I didn’t know what it was until I saw an adult flea. I bought the topical from NAV which proved to be ineffective. I gave him four flea baths and bombed twice but could not get rid of them. I called and asked for a referral to a cat groomer, and when I called her, she clearly stated she had never done cats. I managed to get him groomed somewhere else but could not get rid of the fleas. My family’s vet (who lives in the south) recommended an oral flea medication that kills them within a day. I called NAV again requesting a prescription, but the doctors there stated that there is no oral flea medication for cats. I then asked for a doctor to look into it, but the front staff refused to work with me. After all of the misinformation and lack of guidance, I called to make a complaint to the manager and was hung up on. Most of them, not all, were rude, uninformative, insensitive, and arguably incompetent. I had to have my mom call so that the call would be taken. The manager then called me back and informed me that there are two sides to every story and the reason why she instructed her staff not to take my calls is because they told her I was cussing at them when I called. This is entirely untrue. Even if a customer is irate over the impending loss of their pet, the call should have been transferred to the manager immediately. I felt betrayed, as I trusted them with the well-being and life of my cat; my biggest vulnerability. My concerns were not noted at all. I felt as if I was given a handful of excuses. I was only frustrated that no one, after three years and over $5000, was willing to further help me. I found Southern Colorado Internal Medicine, not even 10 minutes away from me, who has not only properly diagnosed my cat, but have ran all the necessary tests, gave me the oral flea medication, and started treating him with chemo. They’ve been absolutely more than helpful, extremely compassionate and totally understanding. I’ve transferred all of my cat's records to SoCo and now Crossroads Vet, right behind my place. I will never deal with North Academy Vet again. It’s a shame, Dr. B will be missed, but most the front staff is the epitome of inexcusable incompetence not only in customer service, but in our relationships with our beloved pets.

We have been using this practice since we started living in Colorado Springs, and now we still drive across town( in an Arctic snowstorm today) to have Dr. Adams care for our animals. Excellent, professional care, and we certainly appreciate the exceptionally reasonable charges. The staff are obviously well trained caring individuals. Absolutely the best animal care in Colorado Springs.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to VCA. Thank you, for taking such great care of pets. My visits have always been pleasant. I would just like to recognize a few individuals who really stood out to me. Yesterday, I called to schedule an appointment for my Kitty. My cat has had previous issues with bladder stones and yesterday I noticed she had blood in her urine. I called and spoke to Valerie. I expressed my concerns to her and she was very helpful. Although, their schedule was booked, she informed me they would make time to see my cat. I arrived about a half an hour early to my appointment and was greeted by friendly faces. I checked in my cat and they got me back right away. Dr. Laura Birkholz, met me in the examine room. I was excited to see her. She was the vet who completed surgery on my cat about a year ago. My cat was so happy to see her. (She was purring so loudly it made it difficult to hear her heartbeat

My pets have been patients of Briargate Veterinary Clinic and North Academy Veterinary Hospital for nearly 20 years. Our pets have always received great care. The veterinarians are always willing to answer any and all questions we may have about the car of our pets. What has always stood out the most for me is the compassion that all of the staff has shown my family during the most difficult of times when one of our pets has passed, or had to be put down. Dr. Mooney has been with us in the room each time comforting our pets, and our family.

Casey Navis

Took my dog here when he was hit by a car. I thought for sure there would be no way to save his leg, it was a compound fracture and infection was also a big concern. They were able to save his leg and avoided infection. I am so thankful that he is doing so well, you never really realize how connected to your pet you are until something nearly devastating happens. Dr. P and Dr. T are amazing, I would gladly trade my primary care provider in for one of these brilliant minds. I'm not lying when I say my dog is excited to go to the vet, the staff is wonderful.

Samantha Clark

Extremely unprofessional and rude. I called was told one price when brought my dog in and I was told another price AFTER they had seen my pet. I was totally blind sided and they refused to work with me. Don't come here! It was one of my worst experiences with a vetinary hospital.

Manuela Phillips

My 3 kitties and I have been going to North Academy Veterinary Hospital for a number of years now. We are ALL extremely happy with ALL of the Doctors and the Staff. You are being treated as a person, not just a patient and the care and dedication that everyone puts forward is exceptional!!!!! Everyone is ALWAYS so nice and helpful and the Doctors provide a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and are ALL so compassionate in the way they care for the Animals. I cannot say enough good things about North Academy Veterinary Hospital, WORDS SIMPLY WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH!!!!!!! Whether you need an Exam or a complex Surgery for your Pet, this Animal Hospital is THE PLACE to take your Pets to!!!!! I can only HIGHLY recommend North Academy Veterinary Hospital and for as long as I have Pets, I will continue to seek the compassionate care the Doctors and the Staff provide!!!! Thank you to EVERYONE for ALWAYS being there for me and my kitties, whenever I needed you!!!!!!

I have been going to North Academy Vets since 1987. We have had some SERIOUSLY medically needy animals and all have been well cared for there. Dr. Berkholz is by far my favorite. She offers medical care balanced with pragmatism. She recommends the highest level of care but offers best options we can afford too. She is always thorough and kind even to our dog who freaks out and poops on her 3 out of 4 visits

Sandra Holm

The staff acts really nice but the owner is not dedicated to you or your pet children. He is dedicated to getiing as much money from you as possible. If your pet passes away and you want them cremated go to Powers Pet Emergency. They know you are going through a hard time and they do not charge you an arm and leg. One of our babies passed away 4 years ago at age 14. North Academy Veterinary Hospital charged us $200.00 for a private cremation and put our baby in a cheap $10 plastic container. Our other baby got sick last week. She was given meds that were to much for her weight. She got a lot worse by the next day. I called their office to have the doctor to call me. I waited over 3 hours and should not have but at the time I trusted them. Our little girl passed away while waiting on the doctor to call. I called them crying and devastated to let them know and how unhappy I was about my call not being rerurned. Did not curse her but did hang up. My husband called to see about having her cremated. They were rude to him and said the private one would be $400.00. They told him he could call someone else so we did. Powers Pet Emergency use the same place as North Academy Veterinary Hospital. The same place that did our other baby 4 years ago. PPE only charged us $139.00 and she will be placed in a nice wooden box. Apparently these clinics can charge an up charge. $400 is taking advantage of people during a very emotional hard time. The staff is so much more kind and considerate at PPE. The treat us and our baby with respect. We will never take our babies to North Academy Veterinary Hospital again. They have signs that they offer the best care for your pets because it is ethical. Not for them because for them it is the green. I think there should be laws for pet care like healthcare for people. Needs regulations. It is not all about the money. It was the way they treated our baby. They could care less. These clinics do not do the work of cremation. They send your baby to Homeward Bound Crematorium. They are great. Why should North Academy Veterinary Hospital profit so much just to make a referral and your grief. We trusted these people. It hurt to learn the truth after12 years and 2 deceased babies. To the office manager. We feel the above is self explanatory. There is nothing to discuss. Also I know your voice. Patricia you are the one I talked to. You said her doctor was working at one of your other clinics. You said you would call her to see if could call me back and if not one of the doctor there in your clinic would call. You did and you know you did.

I didn't realize how valuable and trustworthy North Academy Vet Hospital was until I moved and switched vets. After one appointment with another vet in town, I immediately went back to North Academy. The staff is always friendly and can usually fit my dog in that day. I mostly appreciate how Dr. Pansiera takes the time to explain the care/treatment options to where I fully understand my dog's health problem and treatment plan. She and/or her staff follow up to see how my dog is doing. They truly go the extra mile for my dog!

Brittany Valentino

They were so helpful and considerate of our fur babies! I appreciate them for all or their help and support! Such friendly and caring people here!

Kaleigh Mellinger

Had an appointment at 2 o'clock for my daughters guinea pig. After sitting and waiting for a doctor to come in for almost an hour I finally had to leave. I wasted 2 hours total in drive time and sitting there. No one even came back to say anything like hey the doctor is running behind just to let you know we were just left in a room for 50 minutes. If you value your time and want someone that does as well you should probably go elsewhere.

Beth

My pets have received healthcare here for many years, ever since we moved to Colorado Springs. Now, my pets are very old, but their lives have been extended by the excellent care that they have received. They have had bloodwork, urine check, x-rays, physicals, dental work, and more. All the staff are kind and professional, from the doctors, to the techs, to the desk staff. I have been very satisfied.

Dr. Johnathan Twinkletits

This place was amazing, everyone was extremely nice and caring and they gave me new patient kits for my puppy with a bag of dog food, heart medicine to get her started on, a dog treat, a flashlight that that can hold bags, and information on a lot of stuff inside the kit. They answered any questions I had. Amazing staff, amazing place to take your animals! Banana stickers for all of them!!!!!

Samantha Mickens

Great staff, best vet we have ever gone to! Would recommend it to anyone!

I am exceedingly pleased by the friendly, professional staff at North Academy. Each time I have been to the vet, every employee I speak with (reception, vet-techs, vets, etc.) has always engaged me in a meaning conversation about my pet. I have never felt like they were rushing me away, or didn't care about our dogs. We love this vet so much, we are willing to drive 30 mins north. Their prices are reasonable, and the vets call to follow up on appointments. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Went for the first time today with my dogs and couldn’t have been happier with my experience! All of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and patient. One of my dogs has had an abusive past and doesn’t handle the vet too well but this is the most comfortable I’ve ever seen him in a vet office! I’m so excited that I’ve finally found a vet that I can trust and rely on to take care of my animals!

Dr Hovantez is the best! Thank you for being so wonderful!

All of the staff from receptionists to vets are professional and compassionate. They always do their best to get you in ASAP and provide the best care possible. I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.

This place is great. They got me in last minute even though I had never brought my dog in before and Dr Breden was great with my dog. He normally gets very nervous and she was great with him and made it a good experience. All the staff here are so nice!

I was recommended to this practice by a friend, and couldn't be happier with the consistently warm, friendly, and professional service my dog and I receive. I almost exclusively see Megan Pansiera, who *always* is in a bright, happy, and energetic mood. When my puppy fell inexplicably ill two months ago, Dr. Pansiera went with her gut to run a test that ended up healing my pup. I also just had my puppy spayed there, and was yet again pleased with the friendly techs and behind-the-counter staff. Everyone was full of information and more than happy to answer questions. Upon returning home, I was thrilled to see they'd trimmed my dog's nails while she was under (it's the little things that make such a huge difference!), and Dr. Pansiera even called a couple of days later to check up on how my puppy's healing was going. Thanks to this absolutely top-notch staff (and it's clear that they all love their jobs, and love the pets coming in even more), my dog and I are, in fact, always excited for vet visits. I highly recommend this practice!
