They really care about you and your pets. I was lucky to find them and we make the drive from Aurora to Conifer because they are that good. They have seen 3 of my 4 current furbabies, and they helped me through the loss of one other furbaby. They did a spay on my Gypsy (with the red and gold blanket) and helped save my Sam (chocolate point) when he got really sick. Recently they removed 1950s bad teeth from my oldest cat (not shown) and he is doing fantastic!

Can I give no stars? Apparently not. I took my dog here on 09-01-2017 based on the reviews. However it was a mistake. Greeting staff is nice but no one expect to be yelled at entering the hospital..The reason of the visit was that dog threw up and was drooling with open mouth. Dr. Watson checked her, gave Cerenia injection and, prescription of Penicilin, Famotidine and said it'll significantly improve over night. I was told that it must be some poisoning since the throat looks infected. No improvement and I took her next morning back....I took dog back on 09-05-2017 and had to insist the hospital to be seen after 5pm because the condition is same as 9-01-2017. This time Dr. Palmini did check up. I was told that he wants to x-ray. Dog had a steroid shot and steroid prescription that we picked up next day. After a week the steroids were over I noticed that the dogs head is "caving in". I called back the hospital and presented with diagnosis that it's Myositis or tumor. That condition must be treated immediately with steroids instead going with "mantra" looks like she ate something or was bitten by something. When II took back my dog on 10-13-2017 with diagnosis Dr. Watson looked up on the computer and agreed. I ordered the Patient Chart that is full of typos and simply mistakes. They could not locate the x-ray that was done on 09-05-2017 saying that I wasn't charged for it. Mr. Watson appears to be alternative medicine specialist that is, probably, fine when your animal is healthy and you want to spend time and monies on placibo. My dog was misdiagnosed, mistreated. I took her to the VCA clinic and they put her immediately back on steroids and advised to do extensive blood test and urine test. Which we did. However the dogs head has atrophy and we have to deal with that for the rest of her life. I would not be surprised that they send you with pack of herbs to meditate outside saying that will do the healing. Meanwhile I am awaiting from the owner of this clinic explanation and number and carrier of their Medical Malpractice policy. I will also consider that Board of Veterinary Medicine of Colorado check into this case. They may be good selling wellness plans and vaccinating.. but that's about it. If you care: be aware. Still waiting for their Medical Malpractice policy...Later update: these charlatans don't even respond to BBB: claim #12443085. Will see what Veterinary Board of Colorado have to say but by any means they are busy to encourage to write 5* reviews but if you have a medical condition you go elsewhere. They are charlatans..well unless you like cannabis and stuff.

I’m reposting my honest review from a few years back since somehow it got deleted... To all the Conifer people in regards to Sano animal hospital...Dr. Palmini is deceiving. After lying to my face about our pets, witnessing his employees at the bar drinking and then returning to work, and them calling Animal Control on our family for bringing our pets to him when they needed care I DO NOT trust him or his staff with my animals. I wanted to put this out there for everyone to see because we truly did trust Dr. Palmini for a long time and were appalled by the way he conducted himself to our family. We have removed our 4 dogs from his practice and have had nothing but great care from a different vet. Also, in regards to his employees drinking on the job... we brought this to Dr. Palmini's attention when it happened and he did nothing to solve the problem. I'm warning everyone to reconsider bringing your beloved pets to this horrible doctor.

Our new rescue dog "had" tummy issues. Dr. Watson new exactly what the issue was and prescribed a new diet to help our boy. He has reacted well after the first 2 feedings! His confidence is up and he is finally a happy pup!!! We only go to Sano to treat our 2 dogs and cat. The staff is caring, professional and sincere. Doc Watson is a true animal whisperer, I am constantly amazed with his different approaches to treating our animals. Our pekingese had back issues and Doc Watson fixed her through chiropractics and cold laser therapy. (didn't cost a lot either) I was skeptical at first but he proved he is a terrific vet, this is why noone else besides Doc Watson will see our pack. We love Dr. Palmini too, but we are loyal.....

My 4 year old Chihuahua mix had to have major dental work done. I got estimates from 3 local vets. Sano's was very reasonable. They took wonderful care of her. Matter of fact, I had to delay the appointment, because I could not get in with my dog as soon as they had an availability. Very easy to work with. Met with Dr. Palmini for the exam. Very kind and informative. Exam price was surely reasonable. Was concerned about my dog's teeth and we discussed options. Dr. Palmini worked up a quote right there for dental work. Have not scheduled an appointment to have the work done yet, but imagine I will. Based on initial visit, I would have no problem recommending Sano to take your loved pet for their veterinary needs :)

A very, very good place to go! All techs are very friendly and Dr. Palmini is a very thorough and to the T. Our pup just loves this place!!! I have been to two other vets in Evergreen and they just didn't meet this standard of love and care for our animals. Our dog had a broken tibia and fibia, after one vet failed to set it and then have a backup plan that day for our dog minding you she waited 4days previously with a broken leg. I was very very disappointed. Sano fit us in the same day for surgery and everything went really well.. Also for what we were told it was going to cost from other vets they charged us about half of this and included all her followups, xrays and boot to protect her leg. My long time vet would have milked me out for this...For SURE!! I am so very glad we found Sano so is are pup Mischka... They have been there for me anytime with any problem since. It helps if your vet is a animal hospital for that reason!! If your dog growls at your vet and is not happy to see the vet... I suggest for you not to go there as its more about the happiness and well being of your animal than muzzling them up and acting like its some vicious animal. Your dog knows better than you who you can trust...

Sano Animal Hospital is excellent. The entire staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. All of the vet techs and assistants are caring. I've only met Dr. Watson and he us absolutely great. Very easy to talk to and down to earth and that's after 40 years as a veterinarian. Since I have four dogs and have spent a couple of bucks there, I suggested they start a frequent flyer/bonus rewards program. We all had a good laugh on that one. Highly recommended.

Great Vet Clinic we will be changing to them for all our pet needs from a different local clinic. We just had to have our dogs spleen removed, and was told a price by our regular vet that would not allow us to go through with the operation. I wanted to get a second or third opinion and price. Called Sano got us in with in the hour as we were told by the other clinic that we needed to have the surgery that night. Dr Palmini assured us that she was stable and could schedule a surgery during normal business hours. The surgery went great and we were even able to bring her home that night after being told prior to the surgery we would be not able to due to severity. Its only one day later and she is back to her old self. No outside stitches to worry about with her or removing. The cost was reasonable and a price we could afford. My brother is a vet in the Midwest and said price was high for his area, but still with in reason. They have done a great job of keeping us informed through out the procedure.

Our family dog is coming to the end of her life and we called to get some guidance and help possibly getting some pain meds until we could get her in to put her down. She’s in so much pain she can’t walk. The woman who answered the phone was HORRENDOUS. Cold, short and completely emotionless towards our situation. She said she would leave a note for the doctor. We called back four days later after not hearing anything and the same woman’s response was a hateful and emotionless “I gave him the message. He didn’t respond.” It has now been two weeks and after still never hearing from the doctor at Sano, we will be taking our dog to Family Vet Hospital in Evergreen. That is what true compassion and care looks like. Sano is a joke. Or maybe it’s just the receptionist but I find it hard to believe the vet is unaware of how she treats his customers and clients. The yelp reviews seem more accurate to what we experienced. Also, how is that their actual google reviews differ from the “google” reviews done through their website? Weird. Seems rigged.

This is extremely honest veterinarian office. I was told by Pet Aid that my dog Fuzzy's teeth were abscessed and infected. They told me he was in pain and needed several costly surgical extractions in addition to cleaning at a cost of nearly $1,000.00! I was heart stricken thinking of the pain I was told he was suffering. Being disabled, I could not even afford to pay for this "required" dental work... I called Sano Animal Hospital hoping that they might allow me to make payments. When I bought Fuzzy in to be seen, I was happy to be told that while he did have some gingivitis, that for a ten year old dog his health AND his teeth were in good condition. There were no abscessed or infected teeth. The only thing that Fuzzy required was a thorough cleaning at a fraction of the cost of what Pet Aid told me I would have to pay!!!! Sano Animal Hospital is the greatest!!!! I highly recommend them to all pet owners.

Today is a very sad day for me. Friday I called Sano to request a refill of pain medication for my fourteen year old boxer, which can no longer stand without help. The receptionist said it had been awhile since she had been in. I explained the next time she comes in, it will be to lay her down. She said she would ask the doctor about refilling the RX. I called back today after not receiving any response from them. I was curtly informed the doctor had not responded. I asked her what that meant. She said he did not respond. I again explained the condition of my dog and the fact that I would have to have help to put her in the truck, as I also am aging and not able to lift her up that far. I was met with the most deafening silence for several seconds, as if to say, _ uck you; or at least that was the impression she left. I said thank you and hung up. I cried when I hung up thinking that someone could be so heartless and cruel as to let an animal suffer over not being able to schedule a $70 office visit. I was hoping to get a few more ear scratches and long conversations before having to say goodbye to my best friend. If this is the treatment you want for your furry family member(s), then I guess I would highly recommend them. PS: If you want to see real reviews you might go check the Yelp reviews.

They got me in right away with my 3 sick dogs. All of the staff from the appointment over the phone to the techs to Dr. Watson and Palmini were very caring and comforting. Knowledgeable, professional and accommodating staff. Affordable services. I asked a mountain group on Facebook which vet they would recommend and a lot of the people said Sano. Plus they opened an hour earlier than the other vet I was considering so I went here. Glad I did.

Dr. Palmini was recommended to us by our son. We have a Weimaraner with a very sensitive digestive system that has affected his entire life. Our dog who is 6 years old, has seen by several vets, had numerous tests taken, medicines prescribed, custom dog foods, (all very expensive), with minimal results!!! Dr. Palmini examined him, give him medications to calm, correct, and balance his digestive system down. Now he takes a half tablet every other day, and have a healthy, happy Weim. Dr. Palmini, is a knowledgeable, common sense vet that is focused on providing the best care for your animal, at a reasonable cost!!! Living in Littleton, we do take the drive to Conifer to see our vet. I highly recommend Dr. Palmini and his staff!!!!!

I love this veterinary office. The staff is very caring and lovely people. I really like Dr. Palomino he. He seems like a really good guy and I think he is an excellent vet. This practice has a health care program for your pet, and I really do think it pays off if your dog goes to the vet more than once a year. And even if your dog doesn't, you get peace of mind in knowing that if you do need to go see the vet, that the Office visit fee will not be part of your bill. Because with the health plan, the doctors office visit fee is included in the health care plan. So it makes you less afraid to take your pet to the vet if the animal seems a little off. To put it in other words, sometimes you might hold back on taking your animal to the vet because of the cost. This helps mentally to take your animal to the vet when you think that the animal has a problem. OK, so I'm not putting it into words in the best possible way but if you call Sano hospital they can explain the healthcare plans to you. I love it and got it for all of my animals.

Doc Palmini has been my vet since 2004. He and his support staff have been unwavering in their compassion, care and willingness to hear my concerns and accommodate every variety of situation my pet family has encountered over the years. From puppies and kittens and those happy visits to elderly animals and end of life choices, bringing in injured strays and monitoring an abandoned elderly dog I fostered through his practice so she wouldn’t have to go to a shelter while we searched for her owners, Doc is a true caring partner in the well being of my fuzzy family members. I wish I had a human doctor I had as much faith and trust in.

In the mountains to visit my sister and see her new house. My tiny minpin/terrier mix decided she needed to take on a bull terrier. The bullie got her foot stuck in mine's harness and chaos ensues. Mine ended up with an 8CM gash down her flank. This was at 1500 on a Saturday. Thanks to Google we found Sano and thank the godess we found them. They are amazing. They fixed my baby up and kept us company while we waited for the surgery to finish. I've had to go back a few more times for setbacks and given that I live in Green Valley Ranch area of Denver, waaaaaay out by the airport and drive over an hour to get there... that's saying something. Oh! And on her follow up, I made an appointment for 5 and hit major traffic on the way out and they had no problem taking us back when I got there almost 40 minutes late. They've definitely made a customer for life with my sister and she'll need it since she's fostering and adopting older, special needs animals.

Dr. Palmini and his staff are great. We have been taking our 3 cats and 2 German Shepherds to Sano for a few years now. Dr. P is very compassionate, he is the only vet we have ever had that calls us to check in when we have a pet with an issue. The staff and vets here are great! Very friendly and compassionate, you can tell that they love animals. Our adventure pup has had a couple of emergency injuries on the trail and they have been able to get her in to see the vet as soon as I got to the hospital each time. Her latest injury called for 4 inches of stitches and Dr. Palmini did an amazing job. They even called to check in on her a couple of days later and the cost was reasonable. I'm so happy to find a quality (7 day a week) reliable vet clinic near our home and hiking trails.

What a day! I had left for vacation with my cat on board. He threw up about 5 min from the house so I stopped and cleaned it up. Just outside Conifer he pooped in his carrier and threw up again! I noticed this Animal Hospital and thought perhaps they could help. The front office staff helped get the monster out of my car and gave him a first class spa experience. He came out smelling like a newborn babe and the carrier too––all clean and shiny. Thanks a lot and people in this area are lucky to have such wonderful people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

This vet office is just wonderful! I cannot believe how compassionate they are and you can tell Dr.Palmini really loves and cares about the animals. He is calm and communicates all his thoughts on all issues. He makes sure you understand fully. He does the most thorough exam I have seen any vet do on my pets. Takes his time and then tells you every single option available for your pet's needs. You know he will always tell you if you need to see a specialist and it is out of his office's ability. Just so honest, gentle and caring. The volunteer time/work the doctor does for the local shelter says leaps and bounds about his character and true compassion for animals well being. He recognizes that they are living, breathing beings that feel pain just like we do and just wants to make them feel better. I will go here with all my pets for now on.

I took my dog to another vet who sent me to another hospital where I would have to wait weeks for surgery. In the meantime my dog was not eating. My boss recommended Sano. I called, took him in the next day, they kept him and did the surgery. My kid is doing good and they have called for follow-up. Do not waste time going anywhere else!
