recently my dog has fallen sick and has not been eating so i was going to my Vet weekly and calling them constantly to see if we could figure out why and they didn't really seem to care much and wouldn't run any tests. My uncle told me about this place and I decided to call them and they were able to get me in that day. just the one visit the vet seemed very interested and concerned about my dog and her issues. they ran a bunch of tests and in the one visit were able to tell me more about what was wrong with my dog than my own vet could. i will be going here from now on!

Vet is great. The women working the front desk is the worst. Honestly they are just annoyed when you come in, they aren't inviting, and they act like you are taking up their time as if they aren't being paid to sit at a desk all day. Why bother having a secretary or secretaries if they aren't going to be welcoming. I know this seems like a bit much, but it is enough where my wife and I have chosen another vet after dealing with them two days in a row. They were working 11/19/17 and 11/20/2017 noon to mid-afternoon just in case the person running this place is interested.

This animal hospital has provided us with veterinary services for almost 11 years. A change in owners a while ago was nearly unnoticable. They send out reminders and they have a website now ! A very professional and knowledgeable staff keeps the five stars going ... thanks guys ... jm

Forced me to give up my dog because I couldn't pay his medical bills threatens that I would get called for animal cruelty and that I wasn't allowed to leave with him. He was my baby he got attacked by two pits. They forced me to sign him away to someone that worked there is there anyway thatmy emotional stress from this dog can be handled cause I miss him I had him since he was a puppy. That's was my dog I sold my motorcycle to pay for him but after paying his emergency hospital fees I was already 1500 in medical bills for my dog any animal law specialist that could possible talk to me about my options would be much appreciated thanks

I took my dog in for a check up she over all looked good for her age she is 8 years old but found out she has an infection, And the doctor was quick too take care of my jade and got her on some meds, Very clean clinic and professional. went in to get shoots for my dog but a few days later my dog had "somehow, magically" contracted a skin disease. Had to take my dog to a specialist and spent 600 bucks to find a cure. And now have to spend 50 bucks every month for my dog's steroid pills. Never going back. the lady doctor is clueless in what she is doing.

I took my sick baby there last Saturday. The staff was amazing and got me started on helping my baby. I called back Monday morning because he wasn't getting any better and the lady on the phone had mad rude comments about me giving my dog an iv,when on Saturday the lady said I could because I was in the medical field. Well this Debbie was just rude. When I went to get the iv from them she was just as rude. I came in there to get my dog some help not tho have some vet tech be rude to me the moment I walk in. Other then her the staff is great and Dr Monica is amazing!

Highly recommend! If you're looking for a new vet look no more, seriously. I took my dog here to get fixed acouple months ago. They were great at keeping me informed and even trimmed Huxleys nails while he was out! This morning I attempted to take my cat to a different vet (to save $$). Me and my cat were not treated nicely and Punky was not helped at all. I called ridgewood to ask for help and they got me in right away. Honestly I got more information within five minutes over the phone than I did the entire hour I was at the Value Pet Clinic (DO NOT GO THERE) Ridgewood heard my concerns and took great care of Punky. These people actually care!!! I received treatment for my cat and was made aware of every detail: how to apply the treatment, what was to be expected, what his ailment could be if this treatment didn't work, and finally other treatments we could try in a months time if there was no improvement. They went above and beyond to help my poor kitty. I highly recommend. It's more expensive than some others around here but it is so worth it and will honestly save you money and time in the long run. Furry friends will leave this place on the right track to getting better!

Hate this place desperately. You get what you pay for. They do NOT accommodate EXTRA LARGE dogs like great danes, saint bernards, etc. No help from staff. No eye contact. They tried to put a small muzzle on my dog that clearly would not fit (he broke his on the way accidentally). They made him nervous and were scared thus making him anxious. Can't handle big animals? Work at a small animal clinic. Animal hospital is a laugh. Play pretend all you want. I feel sorry for the young new girl at the desk. Honey, find a new job. These people are awful. You're too good for that. This place is a bunch of old and middle aged woman who hate themselves and others.

Every time I've taken my lab there, the staff has been friendly the care has been excellent, and we've had no problems at all. There are vets much closer, but this is the first place we went to and we haven't looked anywhere since.

Found this place about two months ago. My dog had got into some rat poison and they immediately went to work saving my dogs life. Since then I've taken all four of my dogs there absolutely love this place. Grade A customers service for sure.

Dr. Campos and her entire support staff are awesome. Appointment-making is effortless, and all of the services provided have always had very positive outcomes for our cat. This place is amazing!!! I called on a Saturday no less with my sick cat needing to be seen of course my regular vet couldn't get us in. So I called Ridgewood and spoke with Debbie she told me not to worry they would get us seen asap even thou they too were totally booked, she understood my sense of urgency. Upon arrival Debbie's helpfulness & the whole staff was comforting. Dr. Monica is great she answered all my concerns, what needs to be done & no cost surprises. Ridgewood is now our regular vets, Thank You for being such a caring place from beginning to end.

BATE AND SWITCH!! I bought a boxer with it's "ears done" and he scratched the suchers out. I called "Liz" and told her his cartilage was showing and he needed them stitched. She set an appointment and we took him down. They looked at him "yes, he needs stitches and is extreme pain, but we're not doing anything about it today." They wanted payment for the "consult" and to tell me that he needed stitches and was IN PAIN, then to leave?? SHAME ON YOU!! Your supposed to help animals. I'm so disgusted.

My dog was admitted for surgery there after being attacked by another dog. the receptionist was very polite. The Doctor does not listen to what people ask for. After the surgery my dog had a limp on the right front leg. I asked that they xray that leg and paid for the X-ray. The Doctor x-rayed the neck area instead. When I came in and asked why she x-rayed the neck instead of the foot she said because she thought that is where the problem is. I told her that is not what I asked to get xrayed she said she understood what I wanted but thought that she should xray the neck because she thought the problem was there. She offered to rexray. I didn't want a person that doesn't listen to what I ask for working on my dog. At another vet we found that my dog had a broken paw, that by then, had healed wrong. Thanks for not listening to your customers and always being right. The Docter there is a Mrs know it all.

The vet man handled my puppy when he had an ear infection, cauing him to cry, bleed and snap at her (he's NOT an aggressive dog at all). THe clinic never faxed our dogs heartworm prescriptions when requested. Also, our youngest needed to be seen for an injury during normal business hours and they want to charge us an emergency fee since we were calling for a same day appt. I have since found a new vet in town and will never go back to this awful place.

Well, when i went online to check out reviews of this place after trying to take my hurting bassett hound here, i found it almost amusing that 'Sawyer Parham' had stolen my review almost verbatum. The ' welcoming' when you get to this place by the receptionist is that akin to the city of Troy welcoming a Spartan attack. Basically, if you dont call first you might as well be pond scum in a cesspool of Fukishima toxic waste; at least look at for the vats of descending hot tar from the parapits. I almost felt that the 'receptionist' as she was so poignantly capprescious to point out to me that she had no knowledge of animals and just a simple lacky for the doctor and i quote " i dont know anything, im just a receptionist, "whom could not be disturbed, contained an attrociousness that i felt might somehow poison me in some way , or possibly if i was to have my dog treated here he would come out of it in worse condition. Thankfully , i had my dog treated elsewhere. Please dont visit this place, unless you are willing to subject your animal to people who generally dont seem to care about hurting animals. I certainely would not run a practice this way, and unfortunately my opinions are purely based off of my dealings with a wretched lady operating the front desk. I never met the doctor, but anyone who could employ someone with ' no knowledge of animals' by her own admittance hardly seems like someone i would want 'working' on my pet. Flashes of victor frankenstein and joseph mangele images come to mind.

Took my cat in because she appeared to have neurological problems. The vet recommended a neurologists and when i asked for something for my cat to ease the pain until she was able to get seen. The vet stated no. I had to put her down Friday before she was able to be seen by the neurologist because her body shut down and found out that the vet should of gave her something so she wasn't suffering. Will never go back or recommend.

Wonderful veterinary clinic. I used to drive up north to another vet, but the distance became too much so I switched about a year and a half ago to Ridgewood and I could not be happier. I have utilized this clinic for new puppy visits, yearly vet check ups, vaccinations, sick dog visits and for my barn cat as well. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is attentive and caring, the clinic is clean and comfortable. My dogs have ZERO anxiety about coming here.

Debbie sits up front and conducts phone and walk-in traffic. She sets the tone and enforces their process. I recently took my dog for an exam, which included a vaccine and to schedule a $500+ teeth cleaning. 2 days later, I emailed my new vet's office for advice with a small, flat, white moving segment I found in my newly adopted dog's feces. I was instructed to bring a fresh fecal sample. Unfortunately, I am too busy for that and have been struggling to get my dog to poop in the morning. As samples must be same day, I explained the predicament I was in and asked if they could recommend a good over-the-counter multi-dewormer and tell me the schedule for administering this medication to my dog. I was told again that I needed to bring in a sample. I understand that scientific analysis is necessary for accurate diagnosis, but I don't understand why their customer service excludes advice on a reasonable hunch. I want a vet's office who is in my corner, not an arbiter of bureaucracy. I'll take my dog elsewhere for all his future needs and get advice from someone at PETCO for his tapeworm. Please respond if you know of a friendly vet with great customer service as I am now back at square one in the search for a "forever vet" for my dog. Thanks!

This place has been my veterinarian for all 4 of my dogs. The only time Ive had a bad experience with them was when a vet (dont remember her name) dropped my new puppy and kinda tried to blame it on her being squirmy. I was standing right there and saw it all, Id have to argue that excuse, but she did do an x-ray free of charge and if anything had turned out wrong due to the drop she said she would cover the work needed. Thank goodness nothing was and I got to go about my day with my new little girl. Everything else has been a pleasant experience. The doctors and assistants are always professional and understanding, always answer any concerns I have and Ive always received notifications when they need their checkups. I like this place.

Since we got our puppy from the mall, we have been going to Ridgewood. If anyone has had a puppy, you know that you have to take them in every couple of weeks to get shots. We have always had good customer service, and have always dealt with Debbie. She has been beyond helpful, caring, and so sweet! I would actually schedule my puppy's appointments just for days that I knew she was going to be there. We continue to go just for weigh-ins and to see Debbie! Thank you so much for always taking care of my baby! :)

Terrible customer service. I called them on a Tuesday in order to set up an appointment for my intact male dog due to a bulge on his private area and was fearful of testicular cancer so I wanted to have him seen as soon as possible. Was given an appointment for that Thursday at 8 am. Then I was called the very following day on Wednesday and was told I missed my appointment at 11:10 that day, I explained to the receptionist that that was not my appointment time and/or day that I had scheduled for the previous day. I was then argued with and told that they would not be able to see my pet at the original time that I scheduled the appointment for, and that the time slot was already taken. Then I was transferred to the manager to be told that she was not going to “argue” or “debate” with me and that my pet couldn’t be seen until a time later in that day. Keep in mind, the reason I scheduled the appointment for 8 am on Thursday was because I would be in class from 9am-Noon (They close at noon on Thursday’s), and that would be the only time that I would be able to get in conveniently based off of my busy school and work schedule. My pet’s health and I were held accountable for an error made on their end, and we were not compensated in any sort of way at all to try to rectify the situation. Would not recommend this vet to anyone if they are willing to treat their patients/customers like this.
