We ended up leaving this practice. We always felt like we were being sold things unnecessarily and this disarmed the trust we had for the vet doctors. They did a good job taking care of our dogs, but we always had to have our guard up to discern what was pushy sales technique mixed with fear tactics, and what was actually needed to keep our pets healthy. Bummed bc we thought it had potential, but eventually had enough. The prices were absolutely the highest we had paid for veterinary care.

I just cannot speak highly enough about Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital! All the staff is so kind and helpful, and the doctors are amazing! I recently brought my elderly maine coon mix cat (15+ years) in for a serious emergency and they saved his life! He is a miracle cat thanks to their quick response and treatment. It was a team effort in there and everybody was so compassionate. The emergency visit was only our second visit, but after the first visit a few months ago (for another cat) I knew this was the hospital for us, and now it's settled, they are the best and I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.

My little Australian Shepherd pup was near death (didn’t realize it at the time) and they squeezed her in a half hour before closing for an emergency work up, saving me so much money with our transfer to Animal ER Care! She was running a fever of 105.7, vomiting and in so much pain around her neck. She recovered quickly and is now doing wonderfully! We like the people at this office and do trust them. But, if you're trying to be on a budget, you might want to go to a Vet's office in a more affordable zip code. Compared to other vets, they require more Dr visits (more money per visit) and more rounds of Vacs when trying to get your puppy taken care of. Other vets were half the price of Pine Creek's Quotes for the same services, and most of that was just not requiring my dog see a DR every single time she comes in for her next round of Puppy Vacs. Again, if you dont mind paying the extra, they are pretty nice people. IF you're trying to save a couple hundred dollars, id recommend calling around and comparing prices.

Dr Josh and Dr Van House are very caring and do a great job. I’m sorry Dr Van House left the office. The reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 5 is because; 1. when my dog had an electrocardiagram at Pine Creek by an outside vet, the $500 procedure lasted not even 10 minutes and was performed in a big open room with a bunch of other dogs and veterinary personnel around. I waa rushed out and didn't get a report until 3 days later and had to call several times to get it. My experience for this procedure at Pine Creek is being compared to the same procedure that was done at a local emergency hospital on the same dog a year or so earlier; private room, written report same day, performing vet explained everything in detail. 2. I don’t like that care instructions are not given on paper. They are just given orally. I got care instructions for my dog but then a week later when I finally got the vet notes, it indicated something different than what I was told. When I called, I was told the vet notes were wrong. This means that the vet notes are either not being recorded in a timely manner or that I was told that to cover their mistake. 3. Although I found most of their charges to be reasonable, prescriptions are more than double of what the local pharmacy charges and surgery is out of this world. Dog spaying is more than $400 but HSPPR is $110 for the exact same service.

Although I've only lived in the Springs for a month, my pup was in the middle of recovering from an emergency so we had a couple visits for that. They're very thorough, don't mind questions, and handle my dog very well. She can be very nervous and reactive, but they understand she just needs time to warm up to them. After that she's a star! We also had to bring our cat in because we were worried about his vision. Turns out he'd gone blind! Its rare so the vet we saw referred us to a specialist for more testing and confirmation. Very professional. They have everything you might need and more for sale, participate in Pet Desk (which is an amazing pet provider app), and will send e-reciepts. Can't ask for more.

I would not take my pets ANYWHERE else. There is no comparison to the high level of care. The staff is thorough, caring and genuinely wants to help. Drs Josh and Cristy Fisher have ALWAYS spent the time to explain things. When one of my cats went into kidney failure suddenly, they treated him immediately ( he is not such a nice kitty at the vet ). He was so sick and after 4 days of being on IVs, he pulled through!! It was so scary. They never were bothered by my many calls and questions. I now give him fluids under the skin every day, which he does not like so much. I give him treats every time I do this and he doesn't even know. He is all about food. Thanks to the doctors for saving my cat.

We went to 6 different vets in the Springs before finding Pine Creek. We could not get anyone to explain to us what was happening with our labrador, they would only tell us to take her off certain meds. Pine Creek was the only one who made a recommendation AND explained fully why they were making that recommendation AND how to help her going forward. Our labrador was not in good health when we found Pine Creek and now, thanks to them, now a year later, she is a healthy senior! The front staff is so friendly and helpful. It was my family's good fortune to locate the Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital through a referral provided by a friend of our daughter. Just a few days after we moved to Colorado Springs in July, one - and then the other - of our dogs became ill. In my first telephone call to inquire about arranging for our first dog to be seen, I received a same-day appointment. That really impressed me. The evaluation, treatment and overall care provided to our dog was excellent. Two days later, I went through the same exercise when our second dog became ill. Again, a prompt appointment was scheduled, and comparable evaluation, treatment and care were provided. Our dogs recovered fully within three days of each being treated and provided medication. Since our initial two contacts with the veterinarians and staff at PCVH, both of our dogs have gone back for routine exams, annual vaccinations and to acquire El Paso County dog licenses. From the in-facility courteous treatment to the follow-up telephone calls to see how our dogs were doing, I know we are fortunate to have our dogs as patients of the Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital. Our dogs are 12 and 13 years of age. They have been members of our family for a long time, and we are gratement for the variety of veterinary services we received within weeks of moving to Colorado Springs. The veterinarians and staff at the Texas animal hospital that cared for our dogs were outstanding. They excelled at everything they did for our dogs and for us, and we wondered when we moved away if we would have the good fortune in locating a comparable facility with equally caring and competent staff. Thankfully, we found the Colorado equivalent of the highly skilled and caring staff that cared for our dogs in Texas. Thank you for allowing me to provide this review.

My dogs are always cared for, but when we're seen for a follow-up appointment, I believe that prices tend to be a little to high. My suggestion: Lower the fees when a follow-up is administered, and nothing is done whatsoever. My dog was looked at for five minutes, and I paid almost $50.

What can I say. We took my sick cat to this place after a closer vet lied to us for 2 years. I can't remember who took care of us but she gave us the answer we didn't want to hear. She didn't sugar coat it and we actually needed it. Because of her, we figured out our cat was suffering for so long. We took him in a week later to put him down. The doctor was gentle with him and she even cried with my mother. After we got our ashes back, we got two hand written notes from the vet on how sorry she was. She actually cared. If I could give this place less than 1 * I would. I took my dog in with a swollen eye and face and they misdiagnosed him, he got worse and I took him back in. They kept trying to get me to do exploratory surgery for $800, we gave him antibiotics instead and he got better. Then when we didn't make a follow up appointment they called animal welfare on us. I would not recommend this vet at all, they seem more interested in taking your money than in treating your animal.

Our dog was a rescue and has sound sensitivity, anxiety, fear based aggression, and fear of strangers with men especially. Pine Creek's staff take their time with her and do everything they can to help her relax and learn to trust them. They provide a chill protocol (medication) that we can give her in advance of her appointments that really helps. I could not ask for a better staff and environment to bring our girl to when she needs care. I recommend them to everyone.

I wish I could take the vets and vet techs back to Michigan with me. I was thoroughly impressed and comforted during every visit to Pine Creek. I was visiting Colorado for 10 days and on my first day here I found a lump in my dog's mouth. First off, Pine Creek made room to see Remy as a new patient within 24 hours notice. I was comforted knowing he was going to be seen right away. At the check up, surgery was recommended and soon because my dog wasn't eating. Mind you that during all of this, I was supposed to be on vacation and hiking the mountains with my dog. Pine Creek cared and made me feel at ease during the entire process and surgery because of their knowledge and compassion. I was so happy with the vets AND vet techs. My dog may or may not have cancer - time will tell - but I know that Pine Creek is there to ensure my dog lives a high quality life as long as he is here with me, and that puts me at ease despite not even knowing a diagnosis yet. Thank you Pine Creek for taking such good care of my dog.

My dog got sick and we had to put him down unexpectedly. The facility itself was very nice and the staff was was great too. The reason for the 1 star review is they lost my dogs ashes after he died. Let me repeat what I just said, THIS VET LOST MY DOGS ASHES AFTER HE DIED. I was in complete disbelief and sadness. I had my wedding coming up and was planning on bringing his ashes to the ceremony but that was now out of the question. The vet apologized and wanted to place a donation to an organization of my choice in his honor. I told them they can make that donation in my name and put that donation back into my checking account, I was not going to pay for their negligence. They played ball and gave me a refund. The moral of the story is this vet handled everything the best they could under the circumstances we were all under. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, I lost my best friend of 14 years forever and they lost the little I had left to cherish and remember him by.

Very short wait to see the vet. The vet and the tech were both very knowledgeable and caring when examining my dog. They didn't try to oversell me on medicines that I wouldn't really need, only recommended the vaccines and medicines that they believed my dog needed.

We brought our dog to this office in August after being at another office. They were more aggressive with attempting a diagnosis for him. Within 24 hours, we had a likely diagnosis of a brain tumor. Dr. Alex repeatedly suggested getting a definitive diagnosis with an MRI or CT scan. That would have been $2,000. I had to regularly remind this office that even though we live in Briargate, not everyone in Briargate can drop an extreme amount of money on a 12 year old dog. Just the initial x-ray under anesthesia was $500 and we felt pretty confident that it was a tumor we were dealing with. Sadly, we did end up having to put our dog to sleep last week, as the swelling had gotten out of control and his quality of life had gone down considerably. Previously, I've had to put 3 dogs to sleep. It's always been awful- a hard floor, a bright room, an anxious dog, and some vet tech talking to my dog as the task is being done. The experience at Pine Creek was better than the past experiences- low light, a room with a soft rug and sofa, only my husband and I speaking to my dog as he was put to sleep. I do appreciate Dr. Alex and his care of my dog- even though this clinic appears to be out of range of my budget.

Thanks to his puppy phase of getting into things he shouldn't, we've had to make a few emergency visits, so we've seen all of the vets, and they have all been fantastic. I can't tell you how pleased I am with Dr. Baldwin. She is so attentive to each of my cats when they have had appts., even when we brought in one of our cats that did not have an appt. due to an injury. If you want a vet who cares about the animal, but also listens to you, definitely make an appt.! Update to original appt....Dr. Josh also knows his stuff, cares for the animals he treats and is very thorough. We have behavioral issues with our cats and he is more than helpful. It is much appreciated and we are sad that we have to move.

Dr. Emmy is absolutely incredible, as are the technicians! The front desk staff is friendly and makes scheduling appointments easy! I loved my recent experiences as a cat mommy and my Maverick enjoyed his visit as well! He jumped right on the counter for Dr. Emmy to have his exam without any problems!
