I'm not one to write reviews but PPVC went above and beyond for my dog and me. My dog was older and refused to eat for days. I called to 6 different Vet Clinics in town and not one acted as though it was an issue. Except PPVC. The receptionist took the time to get all the details and scheduled us for first thing the next morning and recommended an alternative to diet to try. Later that day, things turned because my dog wasnt eating and had no energy. They were able to get us in for emergency services right away. The process took about an hour and half, start to finish. We had to wait for labs since her xrays were inconclusive. Jessica, the vet tech called me first thing Thursday morning to check on the situation and to let me know that they were still waiting for 2 more labs. I received a call later in the afternoon with the unfortunate results. My baby was in renal failure. (I had taken her to a different vet a week earlier who did not catch this!!) We scheduled a time for us to come in and say our goodbyes. Which is never easy for anyone. From start to finish, PPVC was extremely responsive, caring and empathetic. Im not 100% sure but I believe the Dr who gave me the results was crying on the phone with me. Dr. Clevenger, who initially saw us was scheduled for a surgery with another animal. She actually stepped out, met us, answered all of our questions and administered the drugs. She stayed with us the whole time, which was great. She was extremely exceptional throughout it all. Throughout this experience, as sad as it is. We never felt rushed or like a nuisance. The amount of care, dedication and emotion that the team gave was well above expectations. They were more in a rush to determine the cause of illness for my dog. I cannot say it enough, but I am glad that I took my baby here. Thank you.

My husband and I have 3 fur-babies and they all come here! One of them was recently diagnosed with diabetes and pikes peak has been amazing at helping us try to get her glucose levels and weight back to normal. Our other two dogs love this place just as much!!! They are always treated with love and the staff genuinely cares about them!! We have mostly worked one on one with Dr. Crochet and Kori (CVT) I cannot rave enough about this office and it's staff. We look forward to many more years and appointments here!!

We love this place. The care and concern they show our dogs, and the thorough manner in which they examine and treat them is unlike any other Vet we've had. They call a couple days later to check up on a dog's progress if there was surgery, teeth cleaning, new meds, whatever. Not sure why there are some bad reviews here as there is nothing rude about these folks in our experience, and we've been taking our dogs to them for nearly 20 years! HIGHLY recommended if you have furry creatures!

They offer loyalty rewards & have mobile apps to help you know when your pets are due for vaccinations, physicals, etc. I use the app to set up appointments. If you're looking for a new vet or your pet has a issue please spare yourself the Google searches or Pet smart vet trips and come here!!!! This clinic went above and beyond my expectations. Dr. Carie is an absolutely wonderful, caring, intelligent vet who has a passion for your animal's health. I brought my cat in right before the holiday weekend (busy busy!) and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen. I felt a little irritated because I do work midnights and stayed up for this appointment but the vet technician manager came back right away and apologized. She offered me some water and snacks also which was great, this made me feel so much better! Finally I was able to see Dr Carie and right away she gave me every option avalaible to treat my cat's ear infection.She was so kind , ,courteous,and very concerened for my pet! Dr. Carie is not a vet who treats symptoms or your main complaint. She figures out the root problem. She took about an hour or so with me (this explains the wait) to educate me on all the medication, treatments, causes of my pets condition. I never felt so informed in a vet clinic! Dr. Carie was so very sweet, and you can tell she has a passion for animals. She's also very knowledge about biology (which is a blessing when you bring your pet in for infections!). Dr. Carie absolutely went above and beyond for my pet. If you're intimidated about vet costs...do not worry here!!!They are VERY reasonably priced and only offer neccessary treatments. Never any surprise costs and you always sign off on any treatments (that they break down on paper for you to see). The staff is professional, courteous. They will remember you and your pet! Oh and did I mention they gave me a phone call the next day to check up on my pet? I will forever be a client here and make sure to mention to anyone that needs a new vet! Thank you so much to Dr Carie and staff from the bottom of my heart. It's so nice to have a happy healthy kitty again!

The receptionist was extremely rude to us in an emergency situation involving our dog. She told us they would not help us and we would need to take him to an ER vet- when asking her where this was located she hung up. Extremely rude and we've been loyal customers for many years. Very disappointing.

The service is awful. If I could have left less stars....I would have. I left them and went to High Country Vet. Hospital. I asked for medical records and the rude comments that written in the notes were completely disrespectful. When I inquired about it - they said they couldn't find any such notes. They are overly priced for a non-emergency veterinary. The wait times are long. Dont waste your time or money.

Great people there. Got our cat in as emergency which a week later turned into euthanasia. He had carcinoma. At his final appointment they were so nice to Spike and to us. They gave him some propofol to tranquilize him first which I haven't seen before. Other vets have just given the lethal dose without tranquilizing.

I'm new to the area and needed to find a new vet. My rescued French Bulldog was sick and needed help. The receptionist started to listen to about my dog's illness, but then interrupted me to tell me I need to go to an emergency vet instead. The soonest she would schedule me is two weeks away. I'm shocked that this vet doesn't provide emergency care. I have 4 pets and give my vets lots of business, but I won't give this one any business, ever. This place can't say that health or wellness for dogs is important to them...obviously they don't care about sick dogs at all. They only want to make a quick buck from healthy dogs getting routine shots.

This place is awful. I took my dog here when he got sick, called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. When I showed up the staff tells me they forgot to put me on the schedule and they will get to me when they get to me, if at all. They diagnosed my pup with cancer and when I asked more questions, they didn't answer and would only tell me to spend more money on scans for answers they already knew. Please, if you love your pets, take them somewhere else before the staff gets a chance to treat you poorly.

They treated my oldest cat with ultimate dignity through the end and then to boot, showed me ultimate compassion with unexpected kind written words from the staff at PPVC, when it was most appreciated, after his loss. I've been looking for months for a place that does good prices on OFA x-rays. So I bargained driving with a good price, I live 2 hours away. When I set up my appointment with them the lady said the hip/elbow x-rays would cost $300. Which is a good price. When I got there they told me it was $500. Which is at the very high end for OFA testing. Thats a big difference and if I wasn't lied to I would have gone to the clinic much closer to where I live because they also charge a lot. I paid and went along with it because I didn't want to waste my 4 hours of driving. I wouldn't suggest this vet. Anywhere you take your pet is going to be much cheaper than this place. And obviously don't trust their quotes.

I waited today for over an hour to see a vet, this was WITH an APPOINTMENT even!! However, I will say Dr. Cary was nice and did seem to earnestly care for my dog. The vet tech Tyler is very helpful and considerate. The front desk staff is rude, not welcoming and need a lesson in customer service. Don't let Dr. May check your dog, she only wants to pad the vet bill and clean out your wallet!! If you ever want to order your pets meds from an online pharmacy this clinic will make you jump through hoops to get a hard copy of the prescription! They are not trying to help the client save any money. I recommend 1800 petmeds! They will save me money on heartguard!

This place is fantastic!! I bring my miniature dachshund here, and they’re always wonderful. Had a mishap a few months ago where my girl hurt her back. Took her to an emergency vet since it was a Sunday and they didn’t do hardly anything for her— decided to bring her into PPVC the next day to get a second opinion after she was still in a lot of pain. They were so wonderful— listened to everything and caught a secondary leg injury that the ER vet missed altogether. And the follow up calls afterwards was so reassuring that they truly cared! Also recently helped me with her again when she had a bladder infection and again, just friendly and caring service. The app is also fantastic. I highly recommend this place for your fur babies!

We've been with PPVC for years with our three rescue dogs. Now, we acquired a wonderful purebred Irish Red & White Setter from Austria ... just a pup. Dr. Clevenger was more than awesome and took so much more time than I expected to examine and provide instruction, ideas, and great care for "Peyton". The entire staff was great with our new puppy. I'm forced to give at least one star, but would rather give them a ticket to hell, as that's where misleading, dishonest, murders belong. This place killed an innocent life that they claimed they could save. This was by far the worst experience I've ever experienced with a vet clinic, not to mention their location and/or building isn't in the nicest area. They are deceiving and up-talk their actual capabilities on what they can do just to get money, regardless of the well-being of the animal. IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY with this business. After having our animal's procedure done, which should have been a simple one, they handed us back our lifeless, over-drugged animal and stated no further intervention was needed even after my questioning, and the animal died 4 hours after getting home. Now, they claim they didn't do anything wrong and refuse to refund half my money on a bill over $800 for a small animal! Again, it's all about money with them. Don't be misled by them, they aren't honest. I dealt with Dr. Carie and the owner, Dr. Marsden.

I hate that there are so many bad reviews of this Clinic, because this is a wonderful place. I'm new to the Clinic but my experience was excellent. They were extremely nice, and they took amazing care of my new German Shepherd puppy. I'm only 17 and new to being a puppy parent and they didn't treat me like a kid, they answered every question I had and helped me out with anything I wasn't familiar with. I don't have very much money and they understood that, so they helped me break every thing down so that I could get the correct care I needed for my pet and still be able to afford it. I had to call the other day because my pup had gotten into the food of a dog I was dog sitting and he got kind of bloated and fat and I was very worried, but my first thought was to call PPVC because I knew they would be able to help me even if there was nothing to worry about and that's exactly what they did. The people that I talked to helped me immediately and at the end of the call I was at peace knowing my pup was going to be okay, all thanks to PPVC. It was nice to know that I could call them with my problem. I've had pets in the past but anytime I had a problem, I always had to go to the internet or call a pet store and that's always confusing, so having a place to call it my Vet is very reassuring. The receptionists were very polite and even made me laugh. PPVC has a very homey and calming feel to it, I get very nervous around new places and people but I didn't feel nervous for one second at PPVC. I would absolutely recommend PPVC to anyone who asks. Thank you for taking care of my pup! :)

Our dogs, Levi and Kovu, have been patients here for several years. We always received outstanding care at a fair price. The most impressive thing to us is how much time Dr. Jaime Clevenger would spend during every exam to fully evaluate our dogs health. She was especially instrumental in helping our older dog who suffers from joint pain, by showing us exercises to range his legs. She clearly cares very much for the animals under her care. We recently moved out of the Springs into a rural area of Peyton and our older dog just had an episode where he could not move his rear legs for a few days. We thought rather than drive forty minutes into the Springs we would try to find a good veterinary clinic in Falcon, since our older dog would likely require more frequent care in the future. We chose what appeared to be the best option, but we were shocked at how poor the care was there especially compared to the outstanding care provided by Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic. Sometimes it takes an experience elsewhere to fully appreciate the care and high standard of service you had been accustomed to, and perhaps had even taken for granted. This was the case for us. After our very disheartening experience at a money-driven veterinary service in Falcon, we fully appreciate the tender and competent care provided by Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic and now realize the 40-minute drive is clearly justified.

I have been coming to Pike Peak Veterinary Clinic Since for about six years. Dr.Bond has been my doctor for almost all of that time. In the first few years of owning my dog, he became very sick and needed a blood transfusion. They acted quickly and saved his life. I have been through so much with my dog and they have there every time. Even when I moved to Arizona I took a referral from Dr.Bond to someone she went to school with. When I came back last year I came right back to this place. When I made an appointment about a month ago, they asked if I had a specific doctor I would like to see, I said yes Dr.Bond to which they said she was longer with the practice. I had to schedule a follow up appointment for a secondary shot and while at that appointment they said my dog was due for his yearly exam. I told them I didn't want to make that appointment. The tech replied with we wont be able to fill any prescriptions for him. I told her that I didn't need any filled at that time, and I don't go through them anymore for prescriptions due to their pricing. After this visit I received a letter in the mail stating that they will no longer be able to service me. When I called to ask why, they said that I had expressed interest in no longer wanting their services. Now I have mixed feeling about this, I had been thinking about switching to Dr.Bond's new office because of all of the wonderful things she has done for me over the years, but I also know that it wasn't just her. Its was also the other staff members. I hadn't fully made the decision but it looks like this was already made for me. From the letter they sent me it seems the tech thought I was rude. From the phone call it seems as she doesn't really know the reason. From what I gather, I was rude, didn't want to schedule a yearly exam at that time, and since I asked what veterinary clinic Dr.Bond had moved to I showed interest elsewhere. In the letter it says: "One of the most important criteria for the delivery of veterinary medical care from clinicians and staff members at Pikes Peak Veterinary Clinic is polite, effective, comfortable and open avenue for communication. Based on your interactions with our personnel, it is evident that our doctors and staff are unable to meet your needs." Well I think the communication is not there. Otherwise they should be able to call me or stop me before I leave and tell me there is a problem, instead I get a letter telling me that they will not help any longer. During this process their customer services really is disappointing, especially to a customer that has been coming to them for 6 years. The good news, I am looking forward to finding Dr. Bonds office and working with her again.

Dr. Marsden and her staff are simply the best! My Dog Duke was scared to death of the vet's office and had to be tranquilized each time he went. Dr. Marsden suggested a few "visits" before the actual appointment. When we got there for the appointment he was wagging his tail! He had a great time and hardly noticed his vaccinations. I can't thank her and her staff enough for their kindness and caring and look forward to future visits.

We cannot thank your office enough! From the phone call to make our initial appointment, to after we left after sending our sweet baby girl Loki to her next adventure! Your staff and doctors are such wonderful human beings. It was by far one of our most challenging and emotional days, we have ever had with our baby girl. Every single person in your office on 2-23-19 around 9:30am, made it so much better. The room was so peaceful, we were not rushed before we started the process or after. We were able to spend as much time as we needed to say good bye when we were ready. We came in earlier this week to get her checked, you guys were closed, and didnt rush us out the door, so we could take our time to make our life changing decision. We have been clients of this clinic since 1993 and have watched the evolution of being a one vet clinic to multiple vets and staff. The clinic is modern and updated and very accessible via eMail, so one doesn't have to call, leave messages and wait for call back. They are well connected within the community and work closely with the emergency vets on North Nevada. We know if we need help PPVC are there to help us. The vet tech I had at this clinic was wonderful. She was really nice and helpful and answered many questions I had. The vet talked to me like I was a child (I am young, but I work at a local pet food and goods retailer, so I know more than she thought) they added $80 of “medicine and tests” to my bill that I did not know were being added, which I called and got a refund for $50 of it. The vet gave me antibiotics for my dogs kennel cough, but gave me no instructions and seemed like she was in a hurry to get out of our room. I was charged $274 for this visit (I had a free exam voucher from HSPPR, this $274 was AFTER my free exam for medicine and ointments my dog did not need) The antibiotics they gave me lasted for 3 days and they were supposed to call me to come “pick up the rest” but never did. This was 3 wasted days of medicine that is extremely hard on any dog’s gut. About a month later I took my dog into another vet, in which they gave me the same antibiotics but for 2 weeks. I was charged $142 at this vet which included medicine, stool sample, and exam. PPVet clinic charged me $40 for “ear cleanser” because my dog had a supposed ear infection, yet when I took him to the new vet, she said she saw no signs of any ear irritation. I really think Pikes Peak Vet Clinic was trying to take advantage of the fact that I am a young dog owner and took every opportunity they could to get more money out of me.

I’ve been coming here since like 2014 with little to no problems and the service this year (2018) is just terrible. Not only are they wildly overpriced, I can’t even get these people to even give me a call back so I can schedule an appointment for my dog. When I visit I’m rushed in and out and they don’t give me and my dog the time or the attention anymore. They’re more concerned about making money and selling you a bunch of stuff you don’t even need (like 200% marked up bags of food and meds) than you or your pets. Every interaction I’ve had with this place this year has just been bad and I won’t be coming back.
