Most compassionate Vet and staff ever We were turned away from another vet hospital in Lakewood at 1200 when I said my dogs dehydrated from vomiting n #3 for 24 hrs..receptionist said were leaving for lunch from 1200 -200 N we have no appts today but ur welcome to come back st 200 and wait and see if we can work u in. Incredibly uncaring. RJ and I headed back to our motel in Evergreen and found Dr Tim Ruggles and staff more then happy to help us right away even during the universal lunch hour. Thanking God for this very knowledgeable Vet MD n Staff saved my baby boy RJ...20 million thumbs up....

The best vet clinic I've been to. They treat the animals like they were their own fur kids. Great prices and very pleasant atmosphere. During an emergency with my dog they guided me through it and sent me to a specialist. They definitely put animals first!

Dr. Alison and Dr. Tim are caring, wonderful vets who take their calling seriously. Great on diagnostics, excellent surgeons, they're plugged into a good care network. My 15-year-old chiweenie has developed a serious heart murmur, leakage around the mitral valve. They called in the mobile veterinary cardiologist, identified the cause, and now he's on meds and much perkier. Way to go, docs!

Both doctors Achee and Ruggles are great. They are very competent and take a pragmatic approach to their veteranry care. They avoid unnecessary stress on pets and tailor their care to meet pet parents' budgets. The whole staff is great at handling all sorts of pets, particularly our high-strung cats. We would go anywhere else!

I want to say the doctors Tim Ruggles and Allison Achee are the best, most dedicated, caring veterinarians I've ever known. I was a vet tech for 13yrs and will not take by pets anywhere else. They truly saved my dog's life. He was very sick and they got him in right away. We found out he had pancreatitis and they started treatment immediately. Without their knowledge and love for animals I know he would not have made it. Now he is happier and healthier than ever and we will be seeing them for his next annual exam. Thank you guys so much!

This vet clinic is unbelievable. A small practice that is full of heart and love for the animals. I found them in 2012 when several people told me of a kind, and compassionate Vet that would help my dear dog with her cancer. 3 other Vets had assessed my Gracie and told me to let her go, without even testing her tumor... but Dr. Achee looked at my dog, did all the necessary tests, and performed a surgery to remove the cancer. Gracie's health turned around and we were blessed to have an extra year with excellent quality of life with her. She eventually had kidney failure and we trusted Dr. Achee to help her transition. We said goodbye in a peaceful, private and professional setting. Our other sweet dogs have been faithful patients ever since.

I need to put in a great big shout out to the awesome and amazing vets and vet staff at Lookout Mountain Animal Hospital. Now I'm very, very particular about vets. My dogs have always been my babies. I drive 1.5 hours one way to see my regular vet - because when you find one that good - it's worth it. But I've had 2 times where my dog was injured and I didn't want the long drive and decided to try out the vets here at Lookout Mountain Animal Hospital. Wow - they are awesome. They are very caring and did a great job caring for my sweet old Golden. I'm very thankful that we have vet so close who are so good.
