The staff here is so very compassionate and never try to upsell anything. My dog had a flybot burrow under her skin that developed into a larvae (beware if you have bunnies because that's who they like to hang out with) and they took great care of her in a timely manner and without charging an arm and a leg. In the past, Dr. Dawn had even followed up with a phone call to check on my Luna after treating her (more severe) injury. I feel confident that my dogs will be in superb care when I take them to Lone Rock and I would recommend them to anyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service! Very friendly staff. Took their time with assessing our 2 dogs and their needs. Helped up get them up to date in vacations and didn't make us feel judged at all because we were a little late. Legitimately seemed interested in our dogs' well being and were open to all of our questions. Picked them because of their reputation and proximity to our house, but will continue going back because of the great experience!

My mom and dad and I have been bringing our pets here for 17 years. My Great Dane has had some problems and Dr. Julie has been wonderful with him. The only problem I have ever had with this place was calling yesterday to let them know we would not be in till the next day to get meds for my dog...I was on the phone with MJ and she cut me off when I was talking and said they were so busy could she have a number to call me back. I again tried to tell her I just wanted to let them know we were not coming until the next day but she just decided what I had to say was not as important as her being so busy to listen to me and decided to just to hang up on me. The thing is she asked for a phone number to call me back...but at the same time if she would have taken that same time and listen to me just say I won't be in....I wouldn't be putting this up. I realize people get busy....but being rude to someone who has been a loyal customer for 16-17 years was a slap in the face to me. First problem I have ever had....I hope it is the last. I have no problem going to another vet over a very rude employee!

They will try to talk you into expensive diagnostics and surgeries to save your pet. They basically told me my dog was going to die without a $1200 surgery. They diagnosed a pyometra with barely any evidence. The only evidence was abdominal pain, an elevated white count, and moderate fever. Normal x-ray. No discharge, no swelling, nothing else. Ultrasound (which had a good chance of accurately diagnosing a pyometra) could only be done by a "specialist" for $400. They were essentially saying this was essentially a one-in-a-million presentation of a pyometra. Finally looked at the blood work myself and saw that she wasn't starting to go into organ failure like they said. Told them to give me a prescription of amoxicillin. They tried to talk me into buying an antibiotic for about $25 a day. Grabbed my $1 a day amoxicillin and left. She was back to normal in two days. Tl;dr Rips you off and plays on your emotions. Don't go here. Find a large animal vet to go to.

This place scammed us. They told us that we needed to take our dog in for shots. We made the appointment thinking our dog needed shots. When we got there, they took us into a room, looked at his eyes, ears, and weighed him. After, they told us our dog actually didn't need shots like they said when we made the appointment. We knew our dog was completely healthy and only took him in because we thought he needed shots. The vet clearly did not tell the phone workers that they changed the vaccines. Terrible communication. They waited to tell us until they sucked us in so we had to pay for the "checkup." Apparently our dog doesn't need shots for 2 more years. Paid $55 for someone to look at his eyes and ears. Absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend this place at all. They are money hungry. We got scammed into wasting $55. This place will try to get you to pay for expensive treatment that is not necessary. Do not go here if your pet is in need of something besides a checkup.

They have taken exclusive care of my (now 10 year old) dog, since day one. High standard of care with an emphasis on the pet, moreso than the owner (no pandering to the owner, other than good follow up by the docs. after a procedure or emergency visit)--I appreciate this and emplicitly place my trust in the staff & believe me, I've made them EARN this respect over the years!

I do not recommend this place at all. They are very pricey for even just a checkup. They will try to get you to pay for VERY expensive treatment and surgeries, even if it is not necessary or if there are other alternatives. Do not go here if you are concerned about your dogs health. Instead, find a more mainstream vet. Also, they will try to claim that your dog is in need of a checkup, and if you don't make an appointment, they will keep pushing you to make one. A checkup is $55. All they will do is weigh your dog and check their ears, eyes, and teeth. All this costs $55. Not worth it. This place will also try to get you to pay for treatment or surgeries that are not necessary. Yes, they are decently nice, but when something is actually wrong with your dog's health, they become immensely money hungry. 1 star, do not reccomend.

The best Veterinary I have ever had. My animals which include a Tropical Bird, Cat's, and previous Poodles have had the best care from all Doctor's in Lone Rock. Dr. Johnson who is the owner is Superb in her knowledge, Dr. Dawn in Surgical on my Dog, and Dr. Julie whom my Bird and Cat's love. No other Veterinary has treated my animals with such care and wisdom. Choose any Doctor here and you won't be sorry. Compassionate, knowledgeable and Friendly. Theresa and Allie whom work in Office are so caring and friendly. Choosing this Veterinary is one of my best decisions for my animal's care.
