Our normal vet was out of town for the holiday. They got us in right away for an emergency and took wonderful care of our dog. Everyone was so kind and considerate. If we were not PCSing we’d definitely consider moving to their location, thank you so much for everything you guys did!

I wouldn't even give them a star had an apt wasnt able to get seen then didnt call to reschedule or anything my dog needed to get her drain tubes and staples and stitches out I understand that things happen. But at the same time they were rude left other people's receipts out for people to look out gave me other people's stuff when I asked for my file. I did like them but I will not take my baby there ever again and will make sure to not recomend this place to ANYONE. And there waiting area is to small for the amount of people they have they need to make it a little bigger and with there prices they should have no problem.

All the doctors and staff are very understanding and friendly. I think they just need a larger office! They are always available to see your pet if you believe they should be seen sooner than later!

This is the first time I’ve written any kind of review and I had to be sure to hop on and leave this one. Very happy with today’s visit. Dr. Graf was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Not only was he kind and welcoming with my kitty (Jo-Jo) he was with me as well. I’ve had quite a few bad expierences with vet clinics in Widefield/Security/Fountain/CS Springs. Dr. Graf was sure to explain everything in great detail concerning bowel issues with my fur baby. He took care of and addressed my kitty’s needs right then and there and sent us home with antibiotics that will hopefully fix him right up. There were no unecessary tests/fees, and it wasn’t to costly. I definitely went home relieved and not stressed about today’s visit. Thanks so much to Dr. Graf and his staff! You all are absolutely amazing! I will be sure to recommend to friends and family! Shavuana & Jo-Jo

They have gone out of the way to take care of our pets. I have also seen them go way beyond the call of duty to try to help others and their pets.

I absolutely love this vet and won't take my pets anywhere else. Dr. Graf and Dr. Rhodes both are excellent. Anytime my pups have had an issue it's been solved right away either the proper meds or even just at home things I can do. I love love love this vet and the staff as well!

The vets and techs are decent, however the wait times are brutal. Plan at least an hour past your appointment time before you see the vet. Cluttered office so it feels grimey inside.

Had very bad experiences with this clinic.... I kept going back because I heard good reviews about the place but it never got better. Absolutly terrible rude staff. Most recently I took my German Shepherd in to be Xrayed for hip dysplasia. I specifically asked for OFA xrays (the official orthopedic foundation) at the first appointment and ALSO the day I dropped him off. I was charged over $300 with the understanding I would get an OFA certification. It involves anesthesia to put the dog to sleep and requires the hip completely straight. 3 weeks later I called asking wh it was taking so long to get results. They then told me that they NEVER SENT THE XRAYS IN. It took 3 weeks to give me that info!!!!!!! Instead, I was charged $300 for Xrays that they sent to a local clinic. The clinic recommended that the Xrays be repeated due to my dogs pelvis being rotated and crooked on the Xray. Dr Graf's clinic refused to reshoot the badly taken Xrays. When I took my dog back to redo the Xrays they charged me full price again, even though it was their fault for not taking a good Xray. They never even said "sorry" for making my dog go under anesthesia unessessarily, or for the time wasted OR for the out of pocket fee's they NEVER should have charged me. Would not recommened this clinic to anyone... they might have been good before but the money hungry, rude staff make it a very bad clinic.

They go above and beyond to help your pets and family! The Fountain Creek clinic really cares about all their patients and does what is best for them.

I have been going to Dr. Graf for 15+ years, I will not go anywhere else. Always treated like family, and my fur babies treated with love and care! Thank you Dr. Graf and staff!!

He is so caring and a wonderful vet want to thank him for all his work

We took our dog in to get spayed, we left with medicine. 2 days later she developed a small lump by her stitches, they said it was an infection. Gave her an injection of antibiotics and the next day got a lump on her neck where they gave her the meds. They told me to bring her back in that's not normal, said they hit a blood vessel and it would go away on its own, but still charged me for all three visits even though the last one was their fault. Not happy at all and will be finding a different vet for all of my animals.

Our family has been going to see Dr. Graf for the care of our animals for over two decades now. The staff is friendly and supportive, cares deeply for pets and their relationships with their owners, and does their best to accommodate the needs of customers as they come in. Their expertise has kept each of our dogs healthy and happy, even saved one of our dogs' lives after an accident, and their compassion has helped us through saying good-bye to a couple of our beloved fur-family in their time. You couldn't ask for a better business to trust the well-being of your pets to.

Where to start. How about the front desk. The ladies up front are always very helpful and on top of things. Shannon does a great job dealing with the stress we bring in and is very organized. They have gone far and beyond for us with our pups. DR. Graff is very knowledgeable and has filled the clinic with great help and loving people. I will not go anywhere else. Thanks for all the good work and dedication your staff provides.

Took my red nose pit "Nugget" here and she recieved amazing service. Prices are fair and the staff genuinely cares about the dogs well being. Two days later i recieved a call from them checking up on Nugget asking how she is doing. If you want the best for your dog i highly recommend Fountain Creek.

I've been bringing my loved ones here for years. They have always been kind and understanding. They have saved lives more then once. Currently I am missing my puppy who is very sick and had to stay through the weekend for care. I've been worried and missing her so my phone calls are frequent. They always give me the time to answer the same questions again and again. I will always hold the Graff's in my heart for the years I've known them.

Took cats in to be declawed. Had to take one back in because we still had a claw on each paw. So they take the claw's off and made it to where the bone is exposed. And refuse to fix it in any way. Every heartless and cruel place. wish with all my being that they would feel the pain they have left my beautiful baby in.

Dr. Graf is the only vet I have trusted since I first met him in 1994. For the past 24 years, Dr. Graf has walked with me from puppyhood/kittenhood through senior years, to the hated part of pet ownership- euthanasia. Never has there been a time when I didn't trust Dr. Graf. He takes the time to get to know you, as well as your pets. To give you an example of his caring and concern for the WHOLE family- I had a large dog, whom I was unable to pick up to get into the car to take to Dr. Graf's office. Dr. Graf came to my house, helped me set up the space for the euthanasia, and he was crying so much with us, we all had to take a moment before he could find a vein on my dog's leg. During the time it took to complete the process, Dr. Graf told Samson about what a good dog he was, how much he was loved, and how much everyone would miss him. Losing a pet can never be considered beautiful, but Dr. Graf made the experience one of love, compassion, and caring for all of us. He even offered to help my mother and myself dig the grave for our large dog. When was the last time you could get ANYONE to your house to help your pet, and then offer to help you dig the grave? This is one example of how caring Dr. Graf is with his patients. I also love that Dr. Graf doesn't call your furry family member a dog or a cat. To him, they are all "kids." He feels for the pets and their pet parents. When Dr. Graf added Dr. Rhodes to his practice, he not only added a brilliant vet- he added extra compassion to his practice. Dr. Rhodes also spends time getting to know the pet, and the pet's family. Like Dr. Graf, Dr. Rhodes assess the situation, and provides you with the many different options and levels of treatment for the pet, as well as the cost. Both vets are accepting of which option you chose and support you in your decision for treating your pet. We trust and love Dr. Rhodes just as much as we trust and love Dr. Graf and his wife, Patti. Dr. Rhodes took excellent care of my dog Scout; when it came to his final time, she was caring and compassionate with us. We were all on the floor, and Dr. Rhodes told Scout what a good dog he was, and she did not rush us with spending time with Scout before and after it was done. I focus on how Dr. Graf and Dr. Rhodes handles euthanasia, because it a vet can be kind and compassionate during this phase of a pet's life, I believe the vet has the utmost love and compassion during all stages of the pet's life. Last night, 2/21/18, we had to say goodbye to our 21 year old Chihuahua. Dr. Rhodes, along with tech Amanda, could see how my heart was breaking at doing the best thing for Wolfgang. Both were compassionate and understanding of the pain of letting go of our kid. Dr. Rhodes set us up where I could hold Wolfgang, my husband could hold me, and she was able to make this awful time one of love. Afterwards, Dr. Rhodes gave us time alone with Wolfgang. When we finally left, all the staff made point to come and tell us how sorry they were for our loss. The level of care I have received through the 15 pets I have had in Dr. Graf's practice has made me wish I could hop up on the table and have Dr. Graf care for me! (He told me that wasn't possible, because when it comes to drawing blood, he said he can't hit a vein unless it's covered by fur!) I wish I had a doctor for myself that I can say I have seen for 24 years. There are very few business I can think of that I have used for more than 10 years, let alone a business that provides such great service I can't even imagine finding another vet. For the last 8 years, I have been living 30 miles away from Dr. Graf's office. If I had to, I would drive hours for Dr. Graf and Dr. Rhodes. They have a special practice, and they take care of the pets and the family.

Refused to let me speak to the vet to explain why a medication as prescribed does not work for my family. Every time we visit we end up waiting an hour or more beyond our appointment time. One of the front desk ladies acts as if I am at the Social security office. I feel like they don't care if they keep me as a customer.

I had to make an appointment for my fur baby because he was acting strangely. I don’t have a “regular” vet and had to choose something close to home that could get me in that day. The office staff was friendly and helped me with my Max by providing a leash for me (since I left the house in such a hurry and forgot my own). I wasn’t sure what to expect because I didn’t know what was wrong with him. In my mind I imagined x-rays and blood work and who know what else. I was afraid of what this visit may cost me! When Dr.Graff came in he asked me to explain what Maxwells symptoms/behavior was like. He then examined him very gently and spoke very calmly to Max. From that he was able to diagnose Max and send us on our way. When it came time to pay I was VERY relieved to find that the visit was extremely affordable. I did have to wait for a while past my appointment but Dr. Graff apologized for that and thanked me for my patience. I understand that things happen and didn’t let that put a bad taste in my mouth. This is an older building with no bells or whistles and I’m ok with that because it is apparent that their main focus is on the animals that come through their door! Thank you Dr.Graff and staff. Maxwell is already feeling better and mama is too!

I have been taking my fur-kids here for years and they have never let me down or failed me. They saved my Willow's life (Dr. Graf did, actually) by removing her bladder stone (that was making her bleed when she urinated) and because of my situation, I was able to make payments to bring my account in the clear instead of having to come up with $950 on the spot out of nowhere for a semi-emergency surgery. (It was done within a few days and I was given the removed stone as a 'souvenir'. Lol) It took me a few months to pay it off, but they NEVER hassled me about it, and they allowed me to add to the account balance if I needed to for any additional services. It really meant a lot to me that they understood and were still willing to help me, which many vets will not do. They are AMAZING! We are in a much better financial situation these days and I plan to bring my Willow back there for her oral surgery in a few weeks, as well as her mother and her son whom we also have. FCVC will also be the ones to give my kitties their shots and spay our female cat. I do no trust my pets with ANY other veterinarians. (I was cautious about getting my two male cats neutered at the Humane Society, but because that is where they came from, they offered to do it for free and we weren't in the position to pass up free at the time.) We are a loyal FCVC pet-family. <3

We have not had good experiences when dealing with the front end staff. On two occasions now my family and I have found lost dogs. Through information (ie tags or unregistered micro chips) we were able to track them to this clinic. On both times the staff was dismissive and claimed they had no idea who the dogs belonged to. Yet both times we further pushed the staff to look and they were able to locate the dogs file and owner. We don't bring our dog here but I would expect any vets office to do their best to return a pet to their family. That being said dog owners have a responsibility to micro chip their dogs and or put tags on them with a name and contact number.

I have been taking my cats to the Fountain Creek Veterinary clinic for about 3 years, now. I appreciate the front desk staff and the teks. They often are great resources for ideas I've never thought of. For instance, today one showed me how to make a tool to get a pill down my cat's throat. ( one has allergic reactions to immunizations and I have to pre treat before bringing her in). The doctors are competent and helpful. I plan on continuing to bring them in for care throughout my pets' lives.

A wonderful family business committed to providing customers and their pets with the best possible care at good prices. Our family has been taking our pets here for everything from shots to serious surgeries for over a decade. The staff is courteous, friendly, and attentive even though they get really busy, and always take time to make sure everyone coming in has a positive experience. This clinic even offers beautiful pet-oriented blankets and photographs because of some very talented staff members. You won't find a better place with better people. Highly recommend for veterinary and other pet care services!

i tried to write a comment about a week ago in response to a very negative one towards Dr.Graf and his business, unfortunately my post was not updated and changed my rating, i would never trust anyone else in the Colorado Springs area to take my pet for care, Dr graf is very very knowledgeable, truthful, and honest, and will provide the best care your pet could deserve

Dr Graf has been caring for our pets since we first moved here in 1999. Yesterday, we had to put my Lab down who we have had and Dr Graf has treated for 13 years. We called the clinic to get support and Dr. Graf personally came to our home and helped us end our dogs suffering in the comfort of his home where he was not scared and passed peacefully. FVC has treated all of our pets and our family with the utmost of care and respect. We will continue to take our family members to Dr. Graf and his staff because they care with compassion.

So far I am very happy with this vet clinic. I brought a stray in before and then today I brought my cat as well as a different stray I'm caring for now. The staff is very friendly, and I really appreciated how the vet explained things to me and seemed to care a lot about my cats. All the people there seem calm and happy which is important since taking anxious animals to the vet is stressful in itself. They also were able to get the needed tests done while I was there for the initial check up so that made the visit very convenient and easy on my pets. I only need to come back for the booster shots. I have been to another vet nearby - High Country - where the receptionist treats me very badly nearly each time I walk in the door, and the vet once made me cry. I don't know why I went there for 10 years but I'm so happy I started going to Fountain Creek Vet clinic!

Mandi Davis

I have been going to Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Graf's clinic now for over ten years. Each of my pets have received one of a kind care that I have attempted to get elsewhere and failed miserably. The previous review mentions a Dr. Miller. This is an unknown Dr. to me and I am not sure if it is even about Fountain Creek. That said, I recently lost my boy Momo to cancer. Not only did they allow me to grieve but they made the process easier. They explained everything for me in detail so I knew exactly what was happening. It seems not every owner has a passion for full knowledge of what is going to and is happening to their pet. It's a rough patch, not only make the decision but to follow through. When you love something like a pet, sometimes you have to accept that this time it just isn't about you but them and their journey. When I finally had to make that decision for poor Momo, I felt like I lost my brain. I lost one of the most important living things in my life and the techs, Dr. Graf and Dr. Rhodes lifted me when I thought I wasn't strong enough. This is by far the greatest group of people and I refuse to go anywhere else.

I would give it a 5 stars but I believe that the reception area needs to work on personality skills. Most of them are very nice until, I think Shannon, comes into the picture then they start being rude. Like peer pressure! About a year ago, we quit going to the Vets because of this and found another vets far north on powers. It was just too far a drive when we live so close to FCVC. So we decided we would try it again. I had to get our outside cat in for deworming and had a appointment for that. However, before the scheduled appointment, we were in an ATV accident and unfortunately, our dog got really hurt and required numerous staples. During the time between, the leg got infected and I called to see if it was okay to bring my dog in to have it looked at since it didn't look right. Shannon told me on the phone that my appointment was only for the cat and there was no other appointments available with a doctor. I still took my dog in with the cat to the appointment, and the other receptionist explained the situation to the vet tec who then informed the Dr on hand. Dr. Rhodes and the vet tec went above and beyond to take care of my dog along with the cat. So I am really glad to be back with them but the reception area really needs some work on.

I am frustrated that there is no way to respond to reviews through this site. I believe that there are always two sides to a story and people should have access to both sides to make an educated decision on a business (or anything else for that matter). As far as the a certain review on medication refill, yes, it is true we had seen her pets as stated. At that appointment, the DVM recommended that the pet loose 30 lbs. If weight loss had occurred and we sent the dosage we sent a year ago, we would be overdosing the pet. We had not seen this pet for almost a year and the law has changed. Before we refill a controlled substance, our doctors are required to do an exam on the pet within the last 6 months. I would love to post patient records showing notes on discussions, but that would not be appropriate. I was on this case and know for a fact that this is what this owner was told. We would be happy to do a refill but we had to see the pet. The last thing we were told by the owner was that she would call back to schedule the appointment. We never want a pet to be in pain, however, sometimes we are required by law to do an exam, before we can send medication. Seeing the patient is also "good medicine" as a lot can happen in a year (heart murmurs, kidney issues, etc.) Then if we sent the medication it could do harm. We are always willing to try to work it out, even getting the pet in that day if needed. We fax records to other veterinary practices willingly. I don't know what misunderstanding happened there, but we have no issue providing records ever. It make no difference how many times a day we fax or to how many different doctors. As far as the price of Fort Carson vet, like most military services, they can offer discounted services to the military. i.e. commissary, medical, etc. We support our troops and are glad that these services are there for them (we do offer a 10% military discount). I am sorry you were disappointed with our service and hope you and your pet are healthy and happy. Best wishes to you!

They saved my little guy's life. I love the veterinarian here..

Dr Graf is an amazing vet! I brought my very sick baby in at closing and he was kind enough to take excellent care of her. She had to be hospitalized and I was a complete basket case! Dr Graf sat and talked with me and calmed my fears and got my mind off of how sick my baby was. He was very knowledgeable and quick to get her illness under control. I am very grateful to have him as our vet!

Jeremy

I had a great experience here, doc was kind of a hippie, but in a cool way, funny, and took care of my dog and cat on the two occasions i had been there. Price was also reasonable compared to what i have been quoted by other places. I didnt experience much of a wait, but what do you expect when you offer a great service at a low price?

Lacy Ridgell

This vet clinic was a blessing to my family. The staff are amazing caring people. You will not leave disappointed if they have anything to do with it. They try their very best to make sure your fur baby is comfortable and well taken care of. Thank God for this place!

Arlene Jean-Louis

I hate their service. They are not consistent. I brought my cat last week to have check up, they told me that my cat need a blood work and I asked for estimated cost. They said, I don't need to pay for the wellness exam. When I came today to do the blood work, they told me that my cat need more exam in last minute and the cost was almost double the last time they told me. When I called another vet clinic to check the price for the blood work and exam. It just half of the price.

We had our cat, Lavenia, declawed n spayed on Thursday 4-13. We took her in at at 8am n they called us at like 2pm to tell us she was out of surgery n was doing fine. They kept her that night. They called the next day to tell us they were going to keep her another nite. But they didn't call on Saturday to tell us when to pick her up. So i called, i was upset that they didn't call me. When i got there to pick up Lavenia. The Lady at the front desk apologized for not calling. Which made me feel better. They brought me to the back to go over everything that i needed to know. It was so clean n i felt like tthey had taken such good care of Lavenia. I will b using this vet from here on out for both of my cats, Lumiya n Lavenia.

Mike M

The vets are really nice and caring, but the front office staff lacks seriously with their customer service skills. They often forget to fill prescriptions, and always seemed rushed and at times condescending, if not flat out rude. I loved the care my pets received from the vets, but I changed vets after numerous instances of being treated by the front desk staff (one in particular who I will not name) who didn't seem to care about my concerns or those of my pets.

Fountain Creek Vet. Clinic

In response to Miranda, I don't always respond to negative reviews but there are a couple here that I have to set the record straight and tell the truth. Dr Graf is the only veterinarian at Fountain Creek that does declaws. He has been doing them since 1989 and has not ever missed a nail. He counts the nails at the beginning and end of the procedure every time. Also, we have not seen any cat back in with a declaw that had any issues other than a scab on a toe. There was no bone showing and we certainly would not leave it that way if it were. I would love to have permission to publish what is written in the pet's medical record, but as you are aware, that would not be legal. I am sorry for whatever reason has made you to say these things and wish you and your kitty the best and hope you find a veterinarian that you connect with.

Front desk proceeded to cuss my wife out, horrible vet

This is definitely the vet clinic that I never want to leave! Last year, after our dog was acting strange one night, we called and they urged us to bring him in as soon as possible. The following day, they not only had him in for an appointment, but already had surgery planned in the event it was needed, and it was. Luckily because they were able to get this done so fast, the problem was found, and fixed within 24 hours. Not only that, but the staff is beyond friendly, kind and compassionate, and truly has the heath of your four legged friends at the front of their minds.

Isabel Zelaya

I was recommended to go there by animal control. THAT alone is a good reference.HAVE gone to shot clinics.NON- JUDGEMENTAL treated me and my dogs with respect and kindness. DANIELL and every one very professional.THEY kept things moving and timely.clean.THEY worked like a team. THANKS MY dog is healing well. THEY wereconsiderate of my need not to spend what I dont have

Jeffery Chadwick

When I needed to get in they were to busy to she my dog, even though I've been taken her there seance 2008.. don't take any of your animals here they don't care. They could care less what is happening, their excuse was they were to busy. To busy to take care of my dog stay away they don't care!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael Tamosaitis

Great Vet, a little busy at times but I guess that is because they are great at what they do.

carmela porath

All the staff at Fountain Creek are amazing! We lost our beloved dog, but the staff were so compassionate during our emergency visit that it greatly touched our hearts! They truly love animals and care about the owners as well!! You are all awesome! Thank you!!

Very very sweet with my cat. They gave excellent service and explained everything to me.

I have taken several dogs over the years to this Veterinary Clinic and they have always been wonderful.

S. Griffin

Friendly staff and easy to make a last minute appointment, but very slow service over an hour wait after my appt for the doc to come in, and extremely overpriced, I've never paid that much for dog vaccinations ever.

cassie david

I have visited this office twice with my pets, both times I had an issue with the receptionists worrying more about their personal conversation rather than taking care of customers. The first time they were able to squeeze me in for an emergency visit for which I was thankful for, but I feel that the office itself is ran very unproffessioally. My second visit I waited 30 min past my appointment time until my pet was seen. I will be switching vets.

Tammie Pierce

We took a dog in for an emergency visit...the vet got into the floor with the dog. They did not even have a table in the room. Such fun to watch them get into the floor with the animals.

Allie Pleasants

I was so disappointed with this place that I made a google account just to leave this review. I took my dog here to get fixed and annual shots. I just moved to fountain from Denver and this place had decent reviews. (Idk how. Y’all must of not ever been to a good vet before) so yeah, I come here and the techs treated me as if I was an inconvenience to their day. I did not get the impression that these people loved animals. But there I sit, in the most depressing little waiting room- where I could ever so easily hear the techs being very unprofessional. A lot of cursing and gossiping. At this point I was ready to take my dog and run far away from the place. The vet finally came in and was the only reason I didn’t leave. She was very friendly to me and my dog. So I decided to continue with getting the procedure. I leave my dog there at 0830. At 1400 I still have not heard anything from them about my dog and if he was even alive??? So I call and the person on the phone said they forgot to call. Which is sh*tty because all I did was worry he did not make it out of surgery. But they said he would be ready to be picked up at 1500. At the time they said he would be ready I arrived. And had to wait another hour because they forgot to give him his shots. But I am not surprised at this point. But at least my dog is alive. The office never called the next day to check on my dog which further supports my opinion that these people just don’t care. So yeah, there’s my essay on why I can’t wait to never go back to this place. Take your pet to an establishment that thoroughly loves animals people.

Nolan Johnston

Dr. Graf is, by far, the best Veterinarian I have ever seen. He is knowledgable, TRUTHFUL and does care. He has treated my pets for years. I wont go anywhere else. The latest 1 star rating is an aquaintance of mine. He doesn't even live in Colorado. Why he would say 1 star a week ago makes no sense. I can say he is not a kind person, and would just post that to be cruel- because he can. Fountain Creek Veterinary Clinic has NEVER let me down.

Ann Ingram

Luv how they take great care of my fur babies! I've been going here for 8 years, the entire staff is wonderful. They are very patient, explain everything and treat you and your pets like family! They saved my cat's life when he got diabetes, taught me what to do to take care of him. He's been in remission for a year now. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Max Schwyter

The absolute worst care in the world, BOTH my dogs have waited HOURS past their “scheduled” appointment time. Rude staff, dirty offices, dilapidated building and incompetent veterinarian. Even when I was delivering medical supplies I was appalled at the lack of sanitation where the animals were kept and where medical supplies stored directly next to animal refuse

capsitan

Overall, pretty good experience. I visited this office because my cat needed some quick attention. The receptionists were very knowledgeable and the veterinarian was very sharp. I would recommend this office to others.

Maddy Jenks

Horrible experience. The vet was the only person I talked to with any bed side manner what-so-ever. The staff attempted to repeatedly crack jokes with me when my dog was in the back dying. There was also a lack of communication between the staff members. I was left waiting numerous times only to find out that it was due to information not being passed along.

Rissa N

My first time here was amazing! My dog had gotten her tail degloved where it took off the tip of her tail in a storm door at midnight on a Sunday. The next morning I called around to several vets in the Springs and was actually told i could get in at one of the vet offices. When I got there after being seen I found out that my dog wouldn't be able to get surgery until the next day and for me that was unnaceptable! Bone was showing and I was worried it would get infected! They then told me the estimate would be over 500 dollars! So I left after having to pay a fee for seeing the vet anyways and I ready to go to the emergency vet for surgery and they would be even more expensive and quite frankly my husband and I were going to have to take out a loan because we couldn't afford the surgery. Then a friend suggested Fountain Creek Vet Clinic and they were my last attempt before the emergency clinic. I called them and they told me I could get in right away! I met with Dr. Graff and he was very sweet and empathetic and told me he was gonna take care of my girl. He told me he was going to make it simple, easy and would even make sure he made her tail pretty again! He let me hold her as he numbed her tail and cut away all the bone that was broken and ruined. And my dog despite all the pain actually even liked one of the nurses which is surprising because she doesn't like strangers! She knew they cared and wanted to help! And at the end when I had to pay it was only $110 dollars! AMAZING! They also give milatary discounts which was helpful! So I can't recommend them enough, but I truly believe they have the pet's and the owner's interests at heart!

My 1st time at this veterinary clinic. Amazing. From the front office ( those ladies work hard) to the staff ( just wonderful ) to the vet , who was gentle and compassionate and just awesome with my 2 dogs. I know my pets are in awesome hands. Thank you all. So happy to have people I can trust with my fur babies.

Dr Graf is a great vet! Prices are reasonable and any questions you have he is happy to help with!

My dogs are not pets, they are family, and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I have been a patron of Dr. Graf's clinic for nearly seven years and I can honestly say that Dr. and Mrs. Graf, and their team not only treat my dogs as if they are their own family, they treat my entire family as such as well. They are amazingly compassionate and accommodating with emergency situations. Some times it makes them seem a little slammed, but that's only because they truly care and will never turn someone away. They are thorough in their assessments but not wasteful on your wallet. Even if I lived in Denver, I would make the drive to Fountain Creek Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Graf's care and veterinary mastery are second to none and Mrs. Graf's training experience and understanding of even the most seemingly minute animal behaviors truly makes this clinic an asset to the community. The techs are just as amazing. Whether behind the desk or back in the treatment rooms, they are always professional, courteous, and supportive. Together the staff at Fountain Creek Veterinary Clinic provide a family centered atmosphere, and again, I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else.

This clinic is amazing. They are extremely well equiped to take care of your animals. Two of our 3 dogs have been seen here for life threatening emergency cases and both times the staff and Dr. Graf have saved our pups. I don't know what we would have done if it hadn't been for them. Pricing is fair and the facility is clean. Couldn't be happier, i recommend them to everyone.

I scheduled an appointment for my cat to be seen for a checkup since he'd been vomiting quite a bit. The latest they had available was 4:30pm; unfortunately, I get off of work at 4:00pm so I hustled home, got him into his kennel, and hauled it to the clinic so I wouldn't be late. Nothing worse than being late and keeping someone to whom you have an obligation waiting, right? ...Too bad they don't have that same philosophy. I was early for my appointment, but my old man wasn't seen until far after that. All together, we didn't leave the clinic until well after 6pm--which is unacceptable. When we were finally taken back to an exam room, I waited so long I took a short nap. If I was smart I would have left then. Unfortunately, I didn't. I asked in advance how much it would be for a cat checkup and was told $35. When the doctor (finally) came in to examine my old man, she said he had a heart murmur and that his vomiting could be caused by a number of things that could only be determined with finality via blood tests. I asked how much that would be. She said (and I quote) "altogether, $130". Well, that was far more than I wanted to pay but frankly, she scared me. So I acquiesced. His leg was shaved, blood was drawn, and we (finally) went to check out and pay. The girl at the counter said I owed over $180. I asked why there was a $50 jump in price when the doctor herself had quoted me differently. She (quite rudely) said she'd quoted me the price for the tests, not the test and checkup. I wondered 1) how she could possibly have known that when she wasn't in the room when the doctor and I talked and 2) where the extra $20 cost came from when the checkup was supposed to be $35 and the tests $130--but I was already tired and frustrated, so I voiced my displeasure, paid and left. I got a phone call about a week later saying that all his tests came back normal. Okay--so why is he still puking? Isn't that what I paid to find out??? The woman on the phone said she didn't know, and to just monitor him and bring him back in a month. Pardon me? Why--so you can get another $180 out of me? No thank you... I was not made to feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were distant and rude, they discussed their personal lives in front of the customers, and they acted as if the customers were nuisances. It was an expensive lesson to learn, but one I learned well. I will NOT be back.

One of the assistance violated hippa law and became really rude when told they can not ask bout my medical they can only ask what the dog is performed to do

I've been going to this clinic for a few years now, and am really grateful for the personal attention and care. A little over a year ago my little guy passed away from congestive heart failure. They were so kind and thoughtful, even sending me a card. I have a new dog now, and it's the only place I will ever go. Thank you!

This is the worst vet I have ever been to. I waited an hour and a half after my appointment time to be seen by a vet who had the worst customer service. He was hurting my dog trying to look in her eyes after she clearly had anxiety after waiting in the room for 45 minutes. Paid $97 for a health certificate. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND CARE.

I love, love love Dr. Graf and his staff. My dogs love them as well. I have 5 collies. Always treated like family and my dogs feel like they are very loved. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies.

My dog had a broken leg and Fountain Creek Vet saw my dog before any other place I called - they gave him care and helped me make arrangements to get Ortho appointment that day. THANK YOU TO ALL AT FOUNTAIN CREEK VET!!!!

Kelly Jenks

Absolutely love this Vet! Everyone is so amazing here! I have called with so many emergencies...they get us in every time...treat our animals so well and are so caring! Wouldn’t take our Dogs anywhere else!

My cat needed urgent care due to abscessed anal glands. I had never been here before as we just moved to the area. They let me come in as a walk in and didn't make me wait very long to get him taken care of! They were very kind and gentle with him, even when he wasn't very kind and gentle with them. Thank you so very much! You have now become my regular vet clinic.

Most people would think me silly for fussing so much over “just a chicken”. However, I take an invested personal responsibility for ever living creature that quite literally crosses my path. Let alone one that I’ve raised since ishe was only 1 week old. Scarlett was ever so gently treated and set free today by the very kind and compassionate doctor and his daughter Mandy and I can’t express enough how much it meant for us. I can’t tank them enough ❤️❤️❤️

Kaytar Prime

Both vets and staff care about our animals and want to educate. They can even tell our two black cats apart! Haven't stopped in for a while with the cats but came with the dog and the male vet asked how the kitties were doing! Wasn't expecting for him to even remember us, let alone know the names! Wouldn't take the three anywhere else, highly recommend

My family and I have been taken our pets here for past 12 years or longer have been a great place for us.... but horrible wait times are to common do not plan any thing 2 to 3 hr from your appt at least just in case.. Feel like they are way to busy for my business

Worst vet clinic ever!!!

We have been taking our pets to see Dr. Graf and his wonderful staff for 15 + years. We moved away from Fountain and will travel from any distance to continue to see them. They treat people and pets with dignity and respect. I ALWAYS highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone who has pets. Thank you for all you do for my fur family.

But euthanasia prices here are on par with euthanasia service is that will actually come to your home. I called a mobile euthanasia service and was quoted $215. I was quoted $213 by this office. I decided to go with having this done and the comfort of my own home because the price was negligent.

We had a terrible experience at this vet! After waiting an hour for a simple vaccine appointment we explained our last puppy died of parvo and it was really heartbreaking for our family and the response of the female veterinarian was, "And you got another dog!? Good luck with that!" As the appointment continued the awkwardness could be cut with a knife. I felt super uncomfortable with this woman. She seemed completely heartless. As my husband was playing with our new puppy the vet then yelled at him, "DO NOT DO THAT YOU'RE TEACHING THE DOG TO ATTACK YOU!" As I tried to detour the conversation back to our questions regarding the parvo threat... I asked, "ok wait where were we?" And she said "I was telling him to stop teaching the dog to bite!" at which point we ended the appointment paid the 80 dollars for the 2 hour long awkward inconvenient disaster. Do not spend money at this heartless place!

we had to have COCO put to rest. These people here not just 1 but the whole entire staff treated us like family is was unreal how kind and caring I have been to many vet clinics this place is #1 OMG GO HERE. They are so nice and kind. VERY AFFORDABLE. TGEY TRULY CARE. THANK YOU. MISS LOVE AND MISS CHEY. THANK YOU. ------------------------------------------- This is now my third time here. Dr JAMES GRAF is more than amazing. Treated me and my beloved dog Angel like we were his family. He is very knowledgeable. He was so caring. Their prices are very affordable. They truly care about you and your pet. I used to work in an animal clinic years ago, and I know the good from the bad. This place is the BEST VET CLINIC I have ever been to. They are not just there to make money off of you, they really care about you and your pet. Shannon at the front desk is so kind and nice. They make you feel like you are their family. I couldn't be happier for the treatment he chose for my dog Angel. Thank you so much DR GRAF!! MS LOVE P.

Stay as far away from this place as possible. They'll charge you for a visit, inspect your dog, give her a diagnosis that is completely off base, send you out with pills that won't help, charge for exams that aren't needed based on the problem you've brought her in for, THEN charge you again to bring her back the next day when her condition has gotten worse. This is absolutely absurd and I cannot believe the practices of this vet. What was even the point of the first visit, and why would I ever pay for a second one when you did NOTHING during the first one???? My dog is likely going to die because these people took my money and offered her no help, and since I'm on a fixed income, I cannot afford to take her somewhere that will actually give her help now. This was after Dr. Graff telling me to call back if there were any further issues, and while he would be out of the office, there would be someone else there to help with the situation. Thanks a lot Dr. Graff.... for nothing.

Front desk ladies are nice, cheerful. The vet herself, and the assistance's are really rude and snappy. I have a 5 month german shepherd, he is a great pup, knows command, etc. They tried telling me my puppy could be potentially dangerous to others when older because he wouldn't let them restrain him for his shots... Edit: I called the manager and owner, she was very nice and thankful I called to let her know my experience. She scheduled an appt for me to see the main vet (her husband). Alot better and he was clearly experience and more qualified to handle my pup. The lady vet I saw before needs a new career that suits her more.

I had been taking my animals to Dr. Graff for about a year, I felt their prices were a little high , but we had just moved here and they were right down the road. We had medication from Dr. Graff threw out that year and I called recently to get a refill, and they told me they needed my medical medication history, why after going there for a year I don't know, I gave them what they needed to do a check on me only because my fur baby was in pain, I continued to call them to see if her meds were ready for three days straight, and they had yet to do my check or fill my animals rx... We went to the vet on post and got our baby checked out with her meds within a day. When the vet on post called Fountain creek for all our pets records, they told the vet on post they had no records that another vet had already called for them, which was a lie, I have all our records so it wasn't a big deal, just the fact they lied. When we got our bill from the vet on post we almost fell over because it was so much cheaper and the meds we got were 2 times less then Fountain Creek.. Beware!!!!!! They over price everything there especially their medications. I do have to say though Dr. Graff was always kind and clearly cared about the animals, it"s getting past the front desk manager, she clearly has a chip on her shoulder ALL THE TIME. will never be dumb enough to go back.
