Kind of weird that there are closed doors and no one is allowed inside the front door when dropping pet off. Allowed in little lobby area when picking up pet. Otherwise for FREE it is a great service!

I don't recommend this place at all. My wife took our dog there for them to tell her either put our dog down or end up spending 8 to 10 thousand dollars trying to save her. Long story short, we went to another vet to get a 2nd opinion and they did a lot more to help her. This place and these people are trash. Period!

Only giving 1 star because 0 isn't an option. We brought both of our male cats in to get neutered at their meow mobile event. We are tight on money right now after needing to move suddenly, but the new place requires them to be neutered. We had to be there to drop them off by 7:30am. We were told to come pick them up at 3:30 and at 1:30 they called and said our cats haven't even been started yet and won't be available till 4:30. I had work at 5 and knew it was going to be tight but we managed it. At 5:30 we were rushing to one of their veterinary hospitals because one of our cats was bleeding out. The hospital requires 100% same day payment for any procedure. My cat is now staying the night at the hospital to make sure they didn't cut into his testicular artery, which is connected to his aorta, so he doesn't bleed out and die. I had to open a new credit card at the hospital because they would not treat him without payment. We have paid $1200 and counting because of the carelessness of the vets at the meow mobile, and my baby boy's life is at risk. If he has to go into emergency surgery, my care will max out and decline and he will die a sufferable and painful death. DO NOT PUT YOUR CAT AT RISK. DFL will not cover any of these costs. It's worth the extra $200 to go to people who aren't doing 100 surgeries in a day with a bunch of cats cramping up the small area for hours stressed and confused.

There's literally nothing bad I can say about this place... Everyone is so nice, helpful and actually care about the animals coming through the door, as opposed to the previous vet that I went through that provided a misdiagnosis. Never go to Aurora Hills! THIS IS THE *ONLY* CHOICE. If emergency, take to standard emergency vet and they can get send a referral, if needed, to get you in ASAP. Wish more existed!

We brought in two cats to get neutered. Surgery went fine as far as we can tell but they do not let your pets out to go to the bathroom after surgery! Our pet's were only left in their carrier's the entire time they were there. You have to bring them in at 7:00 am and couldn't pick them up until 4:00 pm. The whole time without being able to use the bathroom still instead of letting us get them when they were done. When were able to pick them up one of our cats had diarrhea not even 5 minutes after we left in the car all over his cage and because it was wet from pee and the diarrhea he was sliding all over in it and was covered from head to toe in it. When I had called to ask what to do because you're not supposed to give them a bath and you're supposed to keep the incision site clean the girl I had spoke with told me to use wipes even though he was covered everywhere including his incision site. I may not be a doctor but I know that feces in an incision site is not going to be okay and is going to lead to infection still her answer was to use wipes and wipes only. If I would have known it would have been this bad I would have figured out a way to get this done somewhere else. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS PLACE! THERE'S NO CONCERN FOR YOU PET and they can't figure out why your pet is stressed when it is sitting in a cage all day and cannot go to the bathroom. Any one who has 3 or 4 month old kittens knows they should be let out. And with kittens they tell you it's ok to feed them a small amount just not adults but in my situation having kittens they should have been let out to go potty.

I brought my cat to be spayed and she was returned to me in excellent health with explicit information on her surgery and aftercare. The service was provided free as also were a rabies shot and also one other I can't remember. Other services and shots are offered for a fee, including microchipping. Be prepared to stand outside in a long line, albeit fairly short in duration . I went up there on a Saturday and when I got there around 7:15 and the wait to drop off was 12-15 mins. When I got there over 20 mins early to pick her up, the line was already about ten people deep. By the time it was my turn, there were a dozen or more people behind me. Once the process gets going though, it's pretty fast. Totally worth it.

We took our pup Harley here to get spayed on the 27th. They where wonderful , and took amazing care of our puppy. The mobile is very clean , kenals are very clean. We got our puppy back a few hours later and she was crying , but was fine. Provided us with medication. Emailed us our certificates. Its been a few days and the surgery site is still very clean no infection no redness nothing. They also give booster shots, and rabbies shots. They even clipped her nails

I was told to take my dog on Monday 7am by the lady in the front so I waited. Well guess what its CLOSED on monday. I didn't bother checking myself because I would think that the lady that works there would know when the place is open or closed. Now I'm having to drive to weathridge something i could have done sooner if I would have known they were closed on mondays. Shame!

I love this place and the staff.. I have taken all my cats to be spayed there and nutured as well even my dog at a mobile unit and absolutely was pleased with them. My cats was always out and alert and doing good with in 6 hours of being droped off and they would get their shots and a small fee they would get chipped... I have a kitten now that when she is the right size will be going in to get spayed and chipped as well.... I will highly recommend this clinic to others as well as the shealter...

This place is horrible! I scheduled an appointment two months out, the drop off was at 7am, I was there at about 720 and before I could even leave they had already let my cat escape. They don't care about our animals. A complete disregard for the safety of my fur baby. How am I supposed to trust them with my fur family if they clearly showed me today that they really don't care. They said the carrier broke but after I was able to catch my cat, I confirmed that the carrier did NOT BREAK, the person carrying the carrier decided to place a towel over the carrier which freaked my cat out, the next thing I see is the person dropping the carrier and my cat escaping. The carrier is NOT BROKEN. In fact you all used the same carrier after his surgery. If you want to keep your cat, don't bring them here. I regret not going to my vet for this procedure...

I have used this vet clinic for over 20 years. Now that is run by Dumb Friends League. Treatment has changed to a very disappointing out come. It seems because my cat is 15 years old. My cat is a burden to treat. They have told me they can't treat my cat anymore. My kitty is still very sick. Now I have to find care for her else where. I have such a limited income right now. I don't know where to go for treatment I can afford. I am so disappointed. Dr. Mean used to be really good about treating my cats in the pass. Not any more. I will see how the spayed. Clinic part of this company treats my brothers cat. Any ideas of where I should take my cat for treatment. That won't cost me and arm and a leg?

Our cat has to be put down during surgery, but it was no one's fault (except the cats) and I'm at least grateful that it didn't cost us a fortune finding this outcome. No one else gave us the affordable chance to even get this horrible outcome, so we're exceptionally happy to at least know we did everything we could to save a member of our family. 10 out of 10 would recommend to friends and family. This service is incredible. Free spay and vaccines! I couldn't believe it. I am so thankful for the DFL providing this service to our community. My cat was well taken care of and seemed as comfortable as you can be after getting some organs removed. The only thing I found off putting was the lack of access to the building at dropoff and pickup. I understand that this service is free and can't be cozy like a typical vet, but it did feel kind of odd handing my cat off to random people in an entryway and leaving for 8 hours. Regardless, I am glad I trusted DFL and will be returning with my 2nd cat soon.

Dropped off our cat for a neuter in the morning, picked him up in the afternoon. He slept for a good solid day afterwards, but when he came around, it was as if nothing happened. I think they provide a great service for the public. The staff is kind, thoughtful and helpful. Is very clean and they take wonderful care of the animals. The parking is more than adequate. They have very clean co-ed bathrooms and plenty of seating for when you have to wait to see the vet. I drive there from Pueblo because it's worth the drive!

Took my new kitty here for a spay. Found out after, she was a he and had a successful neutering service (haha!). The techs I had contact with were great, especially the guy with the green hair. I was really nervous about bringing my new baby to a “free” clinic but my little one is home, eating, and already trying to stagger out of the bathroom to play. I also had him chipped and gave a donation for their generous services. I plan on bringing my other two kitties in for chips as well. Thank you, DFL! You’re amazing.

My 2 Maine Coon boys needed to be neutered and this program does it free of charge. Cats are prolific breeders and this is a 3 year funded program that helps curb the issue of overpopulation of cats in Denver. You can bring in any cat whatsoever-it does not need to be owned by you or even domestic. Meaning you can trap feral cats and come get them neutered or spayed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, very streamlined process and extremely convenient. These individuals deserve the highest praise for the work they do. People don't realize what a service this is and how programs like this keep humans and animals safe. I got my new kitten neutered for free and they were very professional and experienced. Found out when I got there that they were also going to do vaccinations for free. Too bad I had already paid for them at my regular vet!
