I started going there even though it's on the opposite side of town because they had an opening when my dog was injured. Other vets would only see established pets the same day. Like going there for routine visits because they do a thorough job, obviously care about animals. Also they noted in my record my black lab needed to go to a room rather than waiting room each time we come so she didn't get over excited. Each time they accommodate her. The wait time is normal for a busy vet but you don't feel rushed when the vet comes. Prices are maybe a little less than other places and they do tell you upfront the expected prices and offer choices.

When we moved to the Springs six years ago, we just picked a random vet for the time being; even though they are in the other side of town, we’ve been happy and loyal customers for six years. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The vets are patient and explain things thoroughly- though if your have experience, they won’t talk down to you. My husband and I have moved seven times in the last thirteen years which has required us to find new vets every time; this clinic is by far the best we’ve ever had. The best thing, aside from usually being able to get a same/next day appointment, is that we don’t feel the need to stick to a particular vet. All of the vets are friendly and professional and empathetic in a consistent way that makes our animals - even our rescue dog who isn’t a fan of strangers - comfortable. I highly recommend this clinic/hospital as the primary care of your pets. - high praises for someone in animal rescue for the past two decades.

I've used Dublin Animal hospital for our pets for the past 25 years. Until 2 years ago, they were a very consumer and pet friendly. That changed over the past 2 years - they are now more interested in selling extra services and getting as much money out of their customers as possible. I would not recommend dealing with this organization.

Been taking our two dogs and our cat here for two years and always get great care and service. They were recommended to us by the emergency clinic after another vet almost killed one of our dogs. We had to get our cat put to sleep a few weeks ago and they were very comforting. They even offer a clay plaque with your pets paw prints for free.

Dublin Animal Hospital is simply the best. They genuinely care about you and your pet. I recently adopted a German Shepherd from a rescue in Los Angeles. This older boy suffered a broken leg and then was dumped by his owners. He is a sweet boy but he is so concerned he will be left again, being at the vet is stressful. Dublin Animal Hospital is in tune with the animals, when Conner the vet tech came out to take him back for a booster shot saw how nervous my boy was offered to give him the shot right there so he didn't need to leave my side. It was so considerate and compassionate. Everyone there is just the same, wonderful.

UPDATE: Picked up my cat yesterday after her surgery and she's doing great! She needed to have an additional 3 teeth pulled but the charges were nominal. She seems back to her normal self already. I trust the staff here with all of my cat's needs. So grateful! ---------- So happy we found this place. We scheduled our cat for a dental estimate for having a broken tooth extracted. The office staff were really friendly and considerate. The waiting room is spacious and comfortable. They have two adorable live-in cats roaming the premises; I think a clinic that has their own little furry mascots says a lot about their love for animals. My cat was really stressed from the drive but the tech and vet were very gentle with her which we appreciate so much. The vet was very well-spoken and explained everything about our cat's blood work, her diet, the intended procedure, as well as cost to us so that we felt completely comfortable. I can't say how much I appreciate how considerate they all were. Just all around awesome!

The staff here is super nice and they got me in super quick even with my first time there they got me in the day after I called! They've now treated two of my pets(my bird and my rabbit) and with both they handled them with care and you could tell they knew what they were doing. They are also very hands on with you showing you things and letting you see and feel the problems, with my bird who sadly ended having a tumor they let me feel the lump and explained to me exactly why that lump was bad and its location and they told me what I could do and were very sweet with telling me the bad news, they even sent a card saying they were sorry for my loss. With my rabbit who luckily only had some tissue damage they were the same way showing me everything and explaining as they went what they were checking, it was a great experience especially for me who wants to maybe one day be a exotic vet. I'm definitely going back with my other pets!

I was looking for a vet clinic that worked with exotics. I am a new Rat mom and was worried about my fur babies. From the very first call, to the end of my visit I could not have hoped for a better experience. I called crying, the woman who answered was compassionate and calmed me down. They were able to get me an appointment the very next day. Dr. Sanchez and the lovely purple haired vet tech (whose name escapes me) were both amazing. They explained everything they were doing, they were kind to my rats, they obviously love their job. Then the vet tech made sure to show me how to give the medication that I was being sent home with, and she gently insisted that I give the medication to the other rat while she was with me. She was patient with me, gave me great advice and ultimately I went home feeling like I was completely capable of giving my rats their medication. Both Dr. Sanchez and the vet tech gave me advice, and ideas on how to make the rats feel better, and keep them healthy. AS DID the office staff when I called the day before, who suggested I start up a humidifier in the room with the rats. I appreciated everything Dublin Animal Hospital did for me and my rats. I am thinking of moving all of my animals (dogs) over to Dublin from our current vets office. I was impressed with every aspect of my visit. And for the exotic pets exam price, it was in-line with the other exotic vet clinics prices in the area, if not more reasonable. I cannot recommend Dublin Animal Hospital enough. If you want your fur babies well taken care of, and to be treated with compassion from everyone at the vet's office, than I suggest you go to Dublin Animal Hospital.

My Rabbit Napkins had some teeth that needed to be trimmed down and the staff here were super friendly, super helpful and automatically made me feel safe leaving my buns with them. First thing I noticed was how clean the place was which is always a plus for me. Just got home and you can tell Napkins feels a whole lot better! Will be recommending and taking all my animals here in the future, thank you guys so much for genuinely caring and helping my buns get back to his normal self!

First time being here worked out wonderfully, I came in with an exotic (rat). The tech and vet worked very well together and knew what they were doing. They explained everything going on with my rats health, and everything going on for the cause of the visit. They gave me a few options for my situation, then offered meds (Of course the meds had a cost). Overall everything was fairly priced, and very useful on my part. The front desk staff were very sweet, and I was called to see the vet as soon as it was my appointment time.

DAH is the only place we've brought our many many ferrets to since 2005 and have always been VERY happy with their doctors, staff, and services! We never question our decision to continue using them and doubt we ever will! My husband and I took our son (ferret), Mario, in because he was sick. I tried helping him with a vet in town a few months ago and he was doing great! But, yesterday it was all down hill from there. The Exotic Vet Tech in my town had gone home for the day so they (Kenline, Canon City, CO) referred me to Dublin Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs. They let us stay with Mario until it was time to take him home, they close at 6pm and we left close to 7 or 7:30. Dr. Finan; her assistant, Michelle; and the ladies at the front desk; Valerie and Harmony were so nice, helpful, informative, and comforting. They did their best and I will never forget them. We made one of the hardest decisions last night and we think it was for the best. He's not in pain anymore and the staff gave us a Clay Paws print with his prints, his name, and a heart. Thank you so much, Dr. Finan, Michelle, Valerie, and Harmony! You are such wonderful people! You guys are the best and thank you for helping us in hard to times. I appreciate all of you so much! ❤️ Keep doing what you do, you're all Angels!

The vets were good and caring, the receptionist were grim faced, especially the one with long grey hair. We took our beloved pets there for 10 years. Never once was there a hint of recognition, or welcoming , always seemed that they were doing us a favor. We thought the staff stunk. We changed to Crossroads, a world of difference, smiles, recognition, happy to see you and love the Dr too. I have no idea why I put up with Dublin for so long...pitiful me!

Dublin Animal Hospital has been our vet practice for several years - mostly Dr. Rollence - and we LOVE her! She is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring and always listens to our concerns. I have a small morkie with some health issues and she has personally called us with test results and additional recommendations for resolving issues. The vet techs and front desk staff are wonderful--always kind-hearted, helpful and courteous. Whenever we've needed urgent care, they always call a day or two after our visit to follow up on how she's doing. I highly recommend this practice.

Incredible experience at Dublin Animal Hospital. The facilities were clean, we were seen quickly and all the members of the staff we saw were fantastic. We met with Dr. Imrie and she was amazing. I initially visited Dublin Animal Hospital due to the fact that my regular vet was not able to get us in for an appointment quickly (Dublin got us in quickly), but I will most definitely be switching to Dublin as our primary vet!

Receptionists are rude. The vet won’t answer any questions over the phone and they are not organized as far as what vaccines your dog needs and will have you keep coming in and paying for visits then tell you that your dog is current. They are outrageously expensive compared to other vets. Good bye Dublin animal hospital! You have been no help to my dogs and I am tired of wasting hundreds of dollars with you!

Dublin animal Hospital is wonderful, the staff is friendly and caring, even when my dog had a U.T.I and peed on one of them. She was so understanding and felt bad for my dog. We take all 3 of our dogs there and any time it is an urgent condition we have been able to get in the same day. They are reasonably priced compared to other Vets and give you options on what you would like to do for your pet. Our entire extended family takes our dogs there and they have all had excellent experience's. Thank you for always getting our dogs in to be seen.

Prices are more than reasonable. Even when they recommend a treatment it is surprisingly never all that expensive. They work well with reptiles which is why we go all the way over to their location. Mainly pleased that they don't try and squeeze money out of you with needless treatments. They handle The Mother of Bearded Dragon (my daughter) with kindness.

They USED to be great, until recent visits with Dr Sanchez. My cat was a patient here, had recently been having stomach issues. As those were clearing up, he developed another issue and one of his pupils became constantly dilated. I called and brought him in the next day. After waiting in the room for over half an hour, I went out to ask when someone was coming, and the doctor aparently did not even know I was in there waiting. Then upon examination, Dr Sanchez basically ignored the eye issue and wanted me to continue with an endoscopic procedure to have a better look at his intestines. I asked again about his face, his eyes, she shrugged and began taking very quickly, over explaining how she felt his stomach issue was more important. I paid my 300 dollars and left. I took my boy to another vet who immediately advised this is an issue, what things could be, and sent me to an animal eye specialist. Something that would have never happened with Dublin and Dr Sanchez's recommended course of treatment. Unfortunately my cat had a stroke and deteriorated, I had to put him down, but I can't help but think how this real issue was ignored by this "Dr" Sanchez and how she could have made my boy live through possible prolonged suffering with her complete disregard for the main concerns really facing my animal. They then sent me an internal survey email, which I filled out honestly voicing my concerns, and did not receive any type of response. Will not be back, overpriced and when they don't know, they don't seem to care or want to try and know, at least my latest experiences with Dr Sanchez.

The vets here are fantastic. They go above and beyond to help all the animals they see but we were especially appreciative of the care they showed our favorite little chunky rat, Sir Reginald. Often in the past we ran into the problem of vets, though excellent for other animal types, were at a loss on how to treat our small family members beyond basic antibiotics but not at Dublin. Sir Reginald even got an oxygen treatment during his visit to help with his bad respiratory issues before they gave him a thorough once over. He's been given a good healthy second chance thanks to their awesome staff. I can't recommend Dublin Animal Hospital enough. We drive a decent distance to get to their office but it is well worth the trip in our book.

I had brought my Bearded Dragon, Silvan down here because he was having a bit of a shedding problem. While I was greated with such friendly staff the best part was the veterinarian that took care of my little man! She was so caring and gentle with my little man, she gave me everything that was best for him and I owe them my little guys life. I live this place!!!

2nd review - One of my guinea pigs developed congestion issues last Friday, June 28th. Called my usual vet to get an appointment but she was gone until Monday. By Saturday morning my pet was worse. Called Dublin Animal Hospital as soon as they opened. The receptionist was sympathetic and I was able to make an appointment for that morning. Dr. Sanchez did the exam. She was professional, thorough, and gentle, and also took a peek at the teeth to make sure they were ok and not contributing to the guinea not eating that morning. She prescribed an antibiotic that has worked wonderfully on my pet. My guinea pig is no longer congested and was back to her usual appetite by Tuesday. Thank you again Dublin Animal Hospital for taking care of my pet! 1st review November 2018 - They were able to fit me in for my pocket-pet- guinea pig's illness when my usual vet was booked up. The staff was friendly, the vet tech was compassionate and familiar with guinea pigs, and the vet, Dr. Lester, was professional, friendly, also very familiar with pocket pets, and figured out the issue quickly. Went home with the prescribed medication and my guinea pig is doing so much better in just 3 days. I definitely recommend Dublin Animal Hospital.

I liked Dr Lester. She’s knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. I do however, agree with some other reviews on here about the reception staff being a tad rude. We are new to the area and I called at 1:03 after I realized we may be a couple mins late for our 1:30 appointment. I asked if it would be best to reschedule after I got the “depends on how late because you are our last appointment.” Ok I get that which is why I called to see if it would be better to reschedule. We got there at 1:33 and I was greeted with “well you were supposed to be here at 1:15 for paperwork.” The tone in which that was said to me was incredibly rude and condescending. Your paperwork took all of 30 seconds for me to complete. We were out of there less than 20 mins later and before you closed and guess what we weren’t the last patient to leave. I understand vet med because I have worked in the industry. I am sorry we were late, I tried to reschedule. Also, if you’re going to prescribe medications that are 1/2 tablet or 1/4 tablet, maybe cut the pills for patients... most homes are not equipped with pill cutters. So thanks for making me buy one of those.

I was referred to Dublin Animal Hospital due to their ability/knowledge in exotic animal care. Our hamster had a growth on her abdomen, and while it didn't appear to be bothering her, I wanted to get it checked out just to be sure. The staff at Dublin Animal Hospital was extremely kind and flexible with my schedule. I was also extremely impressed with how they treated my hamster with care, and how knowledgeable they were on hamster health. The staff also made sure that we knew all of our options for our hamster's healthcare, and we did not feel any pressure to make one decision over another. They made sure to test the growth to ensure that it wasn't cancerous, as well as checked the rest of our hamster in case there were any other medical issues with her. Overall, I am thrilled with the staff at Dublin Animal Hospital, and will be taking any future hamsters that need veterinary care to this veterinary hospital. A big thank you to everyone that worked with our little Dot!

They prescribed the crappiest dog food (Hills Prescriptive) that was making our dog sicker and sicker. Of course, they sell it in their office. Luckily through our own research on dog food , our dog is healthy again. They wanted to run tests that when I questioned them, were really not going to give the answers we needed. Needless to say, we are changing vets. They are nice but that’s not enough.

I have a service dog that goes with me everywhere. With that said, I take my dogs health very seriously since his health affects my own. I’ve brought my GSD here several times and I am always happy with the service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The vets and a majority of the nurses were very kind and sympathetic when we had to put our kitty to rest and they made the experience as painless for my ex husband and I as they could. There is however one nurse on their staff who was incredibly insensitive and rude not only to me when I arrived later on to pick up his paw prints, but had also been quite rude to my ex earlier in the day when he had asked about extending his follow up visit to include a consultation about our cats quality of life moving forward. Neither of us can recall her name but it is something the office should be aware of.

I was originally under the impression that I was taken advantage of, seeing as Bear had passed away a day after his visit. after speaking with Jennifer the office manager and after voicing the series of events that led to the way I was feeling she understood why I would feel that way she accepted the feedback and apologized for the scenario and did what she could to help us, for that I am changing my review to a five star because she listened and made us feel valued. In current times it's hard to make anybody feel like you actually do care but you did Jennifer. Had Bear bounced back I know he would have loved you guys! my little angel now in heaven R.I.P Bear 2-1-2017-12-14-2017

My Cockatiel Jaxx had a possible wing injury so we traveled from Pueblo West to this Hospital. Jaxx was treated by Dr. Gabriella Lester DVM, she immediately took Jaxx to have an X-Ray of the wing and found only swelling, thank goodness! Jaxx received ‘First Class’ treatmeant and left feeling loved and cared for. Thank you Dr. Lester! P.s This is the cleanest pet hospital I’ve ever been to, no pee smells anywhere. Impressive.

Our guinea pig was having an eye issue, so we needed medical care for her. Haven't had her long, so we didn't have a vet established for her. The staff was very professional and kind to my daughter who called to set up an appt. and inquire about an destined cost. The vet was very helpful and caring and took good care of our cavy for a reasonable cost. She is looking better already!

My Suki baby died of Parvo after having her only one week. The entire staff, but especially Harmony and Dr. Michelle Smith, treated me with such compassion. I am forever grateful to Harmony, who moved my car when I pulled up to the doors crying my eyes out, and for being so kind to me during one of the worst days of my life. They even gave me a complementary clay paw print of Suki's little foot, which I will treasure forever. I will never take my kiddos anywhere else and I am so glad I found this team of unbelievable, selfless people that truly love animals.

I wanted to like this place. Really, I did. They did an awesome job with my pre-questions leading up to a neuter, as well as being prompt and friendly with calls and texts before and after appointments. I researched them prior, and got nothing but positive results and a confidence going into different surgeries and appointments for my pets. However, when I took my dog there for a standard eval, courtesy of the Pikes Peak Humane Society free slip, I asked a series of questions that I've been asking all of the vets I've had over the years, with all of my other dogs. Examples include: how much should he weigh approximately for a healthy weight, what should his diet look like/how much and how frequently, if I needed to cut the dog's coat or if brushing sufficed, what I could do to prevent or minimize dandruff, if the dog's incision site from a previous neuter looked infected or not, what kind of dental care they recommended for tartar and such, and simple questions of this nature. None were answered. Not one. The doctor seemed nervous and uncomfortable, as she tried to obviously avoid directly answering my questions, choosing to bring up how friendly my dog was instead. If she tried to subtly evade my attempts at requiring basic knowledge on how to properly care for my dog, she succeeded, but not without blantant notice. I've never had a vet unable to answer things like this. The exam consisted of talking about how cute my dog was, checking his heart rate and hips, and then charging me for shots (which, is typical when you come in for a free eval...you always end up getting asked to pay for something). I don't know what normal evals there look like, but mine have never panned out like that. Of course, after that, my free slip was no longer usable, since I did, very technically, use it. None of my questions were answered, however, and I knew nothing new or different about my dog after leaving. Luckily, I had a coupon for a free visit at Banfield. I was a little weary, considering I've always gone to vets not associated with stores like Petsmart or anything like that. But, I digress, I'm glad I had the coupon. I asked all the same questions, and the doctor there informed me, in great detail, with informational answers to them all. I just wish I wouldn't have had to rely on Banfield in the first place.

I called before they opened and someone friendly answered and scheduled me same day....in 2 hours in fact. The wait was short before I was put in a room. Dublin has a lab onsite so I could get blood work and a diagnosis during my appointment. It was nice to leave with medicine, instructions, and an easy to follow treatment plan so my pup could start feeling better right away. Maybe not the cheapest vet in town, certainly not the most expensive....but probably the highest quality. I feel like a got good value for the service I received. Admin/Techs/Dr. experienced, efficient, and super friendly.

This is a very good place to take your exotic pets. My bearded dragon loves all of the special attention he gets here. The staff are very informative, and they are very gentle and calm with your animals. I would really recommend this to anyone planning on changing vets, or struggling to find a vet.

This place is my go to for my small animals. On 2 separate occasions I have brought my animals to Dublin last minute for some pretty major things. Back in August my ferret became weak and could barely walk. She wouldn't eat and barely would drink. I called Dublin and they got her right in and were able to diagnose a kidney infection. And just last week one of my rats had a large open wound. I called in the early morning and they got him in for a drop off. They called me when they decided to perform surgery to close the wound, then when they went in for the procedure, and then again after he started to wake up to give me a pick up time. I felt 100% comfortable having him there and they kept me in the loop all day. The surgery went off without a hitch and my little guy is on the mend, happy and healthy. I couldn't be happier!

Yesterday I went to this office because my guinea pig fell sick this weekend. This was my first time coming to this business. As I walked into the office the staff member who was sitting in the chair on the left side behind the desk, was not very welcoming or professional when explaining office procedure to me. Dr. Sanchez called me twice and gave me updates on what was going on and what needed to be done to help my Snoopy. Dr. Sanchez told me if anything changed to call the office. When I picked Snoopy up the young lady explained everything I needed to do and also said call us if I saw any changes. I appreciate what Dr. Sanchez and the pleasant staff members did for me on 5/10. I followed all instructions yet when I returned home from work today, Snoopy was not doing so well. I called the office at 5:33pm. The employee who answered the phone was the same unpleasant employee from yesterday. She was rude and did not care that my pet was not doing well. She promptly told me that they were closed yet yesterday I noticed that they did not close until 6pm. Looking on their website the hours of operations was 7:30am-6pm Monday thru Friday. So basically she lied to me. Obviously, this staff member wanted to be elsewhere. I spent $286.00 in this business establishment yet I was treated like a nobody. Sad to say my guniea pig Snoopy passed this evening. I truly do not appreciate how I was treated this evening. I will tell all my family, friends and strangers not to use this business establishment. With all the things going on in this world, we need a more kindness.

Staff members are very thoughtful and give you all the information you need to make decisions about your pets. It's hard to find people who will see guinea pigs, and Dublin Animal Hospital was amazing with my boys.

Went in recently to have my dogs ears checked. The staff was very kind with my dog who is at the best of times dramatic. I would recommend this vet to anyone but be aware same day appointments aren't available in most cases it would seem.

We have two very different dogs with very different personalities and medical issues. We just relocated to Colorado Springs from KY and going to Dublin Animal Hospital was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Dr. Smith has been an angel and is nothing short of amazing. She’s kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares for our dogs. Our min pin is older, has issues with aggression, and a pre existing neck condition and Dr. Smith and her staff have helped his quality of life tremendously. She has called to check on him multiple times, and never tries to push expensive treatment on us. While in for a visit with our Husky, Milo,(who has severe separation anxiety) we were greeted by Connor (the vet tech who is also amazing and kind) because Dr. Smith was taking the time to brush up on separation anxiety and all the current treatments and methods so she could best treat him. I never write reviews but Dublin deserves 100 stars if I could give them. I couldn’t ask for a better team to treat our fur babies.
