We are very impressed by Colorado Canine Orthopedics. We took our 6 month old puppy Bear there who had been limping. Turned out he had fractured both hind legs being a crazy puppy. Dr. Riecks spent a lot of time explaining the X-rays and options. He did an emergency surgery the very next day. The staff were kind and caring, and the facility is set up so there is a doggie bed and basket of doggie toys in each room. Bear loves going there. Dr. Riecks did an amazing job, Bear has healed so well and he's back to being a crazy puppy. Thank you Dr. Riecks and the amazing staff at Colorado Canine Ortho!

Brought my kitty in with an injured leg. I was treated promptly and professionally. The staff informed me every step of the way the diagnosis, approaches to help my kitty immediately and long term, and costs so I knew at every step how much we were looking at to help our cat. The staff were genuinely concerned with my cat, even though she was not very friendly while they tried to help her. Kitty is now home and doing better, and I have nothing but admiration at how this establishment carries on with it's business. I HIGHLY recommend this excellent organization... You have a customer for life!

The best! Had our pup in for surgery. Amazing place. Very clean, inviting, and extremely professional. They did an outstanding job with our Max. 2 weeks after surgery his incision is almost completely healed and he is doing outstanding. Highly recommend this place for your furry friends. They care deeply about doing a good job and take special care of their patients. They took extra time to explain exactly what the surgery would entail and answered all our questions prior to surgery. We were very comfortable leaving our fur kid with them. We couldn't be more satisfied with their work. Kudos CCO!

State of the art care if you need an orthopedic specialist for your furry companion. My buddy Duck has had a hard to diagnose limp for some time now. Dr Franklin assessed it accurately right off the bat, was able to image it on a CT scan, and ultimately removed the problematic bone fragment arthroscopically. He kept me and my vet informed throughout the process and followed up the night after surgery to make sure everything was OK and that I understood the prognosis and rehab instructions. The post op instructions were detailed and clearly written. The staff was kind and accommodating of my schedule since I had to travel several hours to the clinic. In my opinion, the cost was very reasonable considering the level of care my buddy received. I would give them another star if I could. Thanks.

We brought our Dachshund, Holly, here after an IVDD incident left her completely unable to feel or move her back legs. Dr. Bauer performed spinal surgery on her the same day of the incident, and she began physical therapy a couple weeks after the surgery. Holly recovered quickly and better than we could have ever hoped. She has regained almost complete mobility (just now a little slower and with ramps all around the house). Dr. Bauer and his whole team are incredible. We will be back without hesitation if anything happens to our dogs in the future.
