I really didn't appreciate the vet that used to be there. But Dr Whitworth showed so much compassion and love for both me and my buddy. Buddy being my dog a 14 years. We had to put him to sleep on Tuesday and dr. Whitworth and her whole staff showed so much compassion towards me and my family. I would never go anywhere else from here on out. The heartache I have right now having to put my buddy down is really fresh and I say I'll never own another dog because of that. But when the time comes I'll be right back at Clearview Hospital. Just had the worst customer experience ever with this place! My cat has been vomiting for a couple of days in a row and I just called to get an appointment. She is an elderly cat that does not go outside and last time I took her in (2013) they told me it was not necessary to have her come in every year. She has been fine and has not needed to be seen. I called today to see about getting an appointment for her and they tell me they can not get her in because they have purged my files and are not accepting new clients. No acceptions, nothing they could do to help. How on earth do they keep any clients if this is how they operate? Totally disgusted with this place and will let everyone I know about this experience.

I have been using their services for more than 5 years for the routine exams (vaccination, teeth cleaning and for a minor localized skin infection). I thought Dr. Black and Anderson were nice friendly people for the visits in the past. Now my oldest dog has an endocrine problem, I reassess Dr. Anderson's competency to treat my dog. Disrespectful to me as a owner who raised 3 dogs by walking them about a mile for the past 7/12 years (360 days out 365 days) safely is not a novice dog trainer. I am humble about my knowledge because there is always more to learn. When my oldest dog who was nothing but a nurturing and loving dog to her pack suddenly develops an aggression, I would suspect a physiological reason would be on the top of the list for possible reasons. My computer screen is full of my dogs pictures for the last 7/1/2 years, documenting their developments and Kodak moments. For a complicated issue, I will go elsewhere. Finally, I would like to add that their senior/veteran technician Maggie is an asset to the Clearview clinic. She helped me on the phone for an emergency situation when the clinic was busy.

I have brought my dogs to Drs. Anderson and Black for quite some time and have always been happy. Recently I had a young dog develop lung cancer. She began showing signs on a Friday and we had to put her to sleep on Monday. We went to Dr. Black and he treated us with such respect and compassion. He allowed me to hold her in my arms as she passed away. After she finally did pass away he took her into his arms, held her like a baby and told her it was okay and that she was loved and would be missed. Six months later we adopted a small terrier. We brought him to Dr. Anderson and she took the time to teach us how to train him to be calm when having his nails trimmed, being groomed, etc. I can't say enough good things about these Drs.

Our dogs have been patients of Dr. Black since 2000 (14 years). Clearview was referred by a veterinary technician friend who worked at a different practice but took her animals to Clearview. The most amazing aspect of the practice is quality veterinary care at reasonable prices. The patients are not paying for unnecessary extras or fancy advertising or services. Nevertheless, the facilities are first rate and the care is excellent, caring, diligent, and knowledgeable. When our first dog was at the end of her life, Dr. Black was incredibly helpful, comforting, and careful. Our dog had developed a huge tumor and was bleeding internally and totally listless. Dr. Black listened to my personal dilemma concerning the huge financial costs to attempt to treat the tumor long term. After much consideration, I decided to take her to the specialists he recommended for a consult. I was literally weeping and sobbing uncontrollably each time I spoke with Dr. Black, and he took the time to answer all my questions, financial and medical, and to help me through the difficult time. Clearview is committed to caring for their patients with quality care with an eye to keeping the costs reasonable. I don't know how any service could be any better.

I've come here for over 10 years now. I've used other vets as well when I lived in Bremerton and have periodically needed emergency services from Pilchuck. This is by far the best place. All the vets do great work and it's really fairly priced. All the staff seems very passionate about their work. I do think Dr. Thomson needs to be a better listener. She talks a mile a minute and when you finally are able to ask a question or voice what you see happening, she starts answering before you've completed your thought. So anyway, I don't see her anymore. Her work is good and she's nice, but talking to her frustrates me.

Staff, Service, and Care... what more can I say. Doctor M. keeps me up to date about my pets needs, both present and future. I never have to question what he said, after I leave, as the staff leaves me with a written plan, as well as an expectation of my costs to be! Doctor M. doesn't miss a beat, and my dogs adore him. The staff is always happy to see me, but the attention is on my 3 fuzzy boys for sure! My dogs get SOOOOO happy when we drive into the parking lot, cause they know where they are! When was the last time you could say that about your Vet! Love this place!

We love Clearview Animal Hospital! We have been seeing Dr. Black for 5 years, and my parents have been going there close to 20 years. We trust them very much with our pets, their care, their service, ad recommendations. Dr. Black will never suggest something that doesn't need to be done, and if we can get away with NOT doing something to save money (and it is in the interest of our pet) he will tell us. We always get great tips, advice and care here. I love that the pets really are top priority, rather than making money like other places.

I would never advise bringing a pet here. My cat has been severally sick and it is in my opinion that Clearview Animal Hospita never cared about her well being but rather bleeding us dry. They charged us 6 times the price of medication we could have purchased ourselves online. We were fed up and told them that we were going to go to abother veterinarian for a second opinion and requested that they fax the information over to the new hospital which they agreed to but it never came. Luckily I had the copy of blood work that was just tested the day before. This is what really tears me up: the new veterinarian explained what her blood work from clearview meant and that she was in END STAGE kidney failure, none of which was disclosed to us at Clearview. Instead of telling me that my cat only had days and best weeks of life left they were trying to get us to do more and more tests in my opinion for their own profit. We're putting down my beloved pet tomorrow to ease her suffering, none of which in my personal opinion was ever eased by Clearview Animal Hospital. I would never advise loving owners if animals come here.

Smaller hospital, doctor seemed OK and genuine in care/concern for our dog but waiting 3 hours for a call back on lab work and taking over an hour to send xrays for a separate appointment is in very poor taste. Animals shouldn't suffer for human error. Will not be going back.

Dr. Adam is a get Venetian. He's been treating our Bull Mastiff since birth. I trust him and he does a through check up when we visit. He's honest and knowledgeable I highly recommend going here. There staff is pleasant and professional.

The staff here are wonderful! Dr Thomson helped us through our senior dog's cancer management and euthanasia. It was a very difficult time, but they handled it with care and were very accommodating and understanding. Dr. Kim Anderson is the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian I've ever had the honor to work with. My great pyrenees was born with a blood disorder quite rare in dogs; though when it happens to humans it is called hemophilia which means that when you start bleeding, it is very hard to stop the bleeding. Dr. Anderson figured this out with my Emmalee when she was about 10 weeks old and I brought her for her first shots and wellness exam and to be microchipped. Dr. Anderson's insight was commendable. Over many years she provided the BEST healthcare and genuine love to my dog. I really don't know if we could have had the wonderful years together without Dr. Anderson's help. This week we had to say goodbye to Emmalee, and Dr. Anderson helped us both through that with the most love and compassion I've ever seen from a Vet; and it is difficult to express just how much gratitude that I feel toward Dr. Anderson. I recommend her beyond what any words can convey. She is just the best Vet anyone (and more importantly any pet) could possible hope for.

They always do the appropriate steps it takes to help my pets. Always saving me money by only selling me the amount I need or can afford instead of making me buy entire packages of flea drops. They open the box and just sell one dose. They sell me dog drops for my cat because its the exact same formula. And they give me a syringe and mark how much to use. Wonderful place to have your pet's needs taken care of. We have had our cats and a bunny neutered here. Unfortunately we also had to have one of our dear sweet cats put down here. We and our cat were treated with love and compassion. Beautiful facility staffed with loving and caring people. Open Monday-Friday 7am-6pm Their services include preventive care and wellness exams, dentistry, internal medicine and surgery, radiology, diagnostic labwork, vaccines, pharmacy, microchips and flea treatments. Update. Just had to take our cat in for intestinal issues and I just have to save the staff here are amazing. Reasonable charges also. It's a beautiful facility with wonderful staff, who genuinely care about animals and their owners.

This practice is VERY busy yet has eliminated Saturday hours. I had a very sick kitten and the earliest they could get us in was 5 days. And then this weekend my dog collapsed on Friday night so I had to take him to our new vet Saturday morning. I've been forced essentially to take my business elsewhere, because they just aren't there for me when I need them.

We're done with this place. It's all about $$$ now with the new doctor M. When we first started going there was a different doctor who was great. Now the past few visits have left us with a bad taste in our mouth. If you don't mind getting pressured into totally unrelated, unnecessary tests every single time you go and then getting nickeled and dimed on a number of items you were not told about it would be great. I respect being thorough, but when you have to ask for the itemized charges and they don't give them to you until after charging your card... well, the whole experience feels a bit manipulative and sneaky. Scratch on dogs eye = $330. Things related to the scratch = $105 (including the $46.50 office visit). The other $225 is partly our mistake for not being diligent about saying no to the onslaught of doctor recommendations and guilt tripping, but also hidden charges. Should not have gone back after the first time it happened but was hoping the old doctor was going to be there. I think he is long gone. Too bad.

I referred him for years, and everyone I have referred still uses him and refers his services to their friends. I was shocked to see anyone rate his services a 2. He has never warranted a 2 from my experiences, nor has anyone there. In fact I would rate him and his practice a 10 if I could.

I am so grateful for the wonderful care my cat received this week at Clearview Animal Hospital. We also brought our St. Bernard here for 10 years until he passed away. Our cat has been healthy for 5 years so rarely needed to be seen by a vet. But last weekend he had to be seen by an emergency vet for a blocked urinary tract and bladder stones. It was outrageously expensive and they recommended immediate surgery for an additional $3,000 to $4,000. I had my cat transferred to Clearview Monday morning. Dr. Black considered all the options, starting with determining the type of stones. It turns out, the struvite crystals in my cat's urine can be dissolved with diet changes. No surgery needed. Dr. Black kept my cat for several days, monitoring his urine output via a catheter, controlling his pain, and giving him fluid. He was so kind to me and thorough and gentle with my cat. Total cost for 3 days in the hospital, IV fluids, medication, prescription food, and excellent care? $220. Thank you Dr. Black and the entire staff at Clearview!
