Love this vet for our cat. We’ve worked with Dr Guillorey and she has been wonderful. One of our cats passed away from a strange illness and the staff here were kind and supportive as we tried to figure out and treat the illness. She had a better chance because of the people here. Our other cat continues getting check ups at Cat Tails. They are thorough and friendly, have reasonable prices, and worth a little wait when you go here.

Both Dr. Claus and Dr. Guillory are amazing. They are very knowledgeable, experienced and caring. I've never felt rushed at an appointment. They take their time to really listen to what's going on, look over your cat, and figure out how to best help them. They are are thorough and patient when explaining a diagnosis and possible treatment options. My two cats are doing better under their care than they have with any other vet.

Well, lucky me and lucky Pekoe, my 3 year old kitty! Cat Tails Feline Health Center is a stones throw from my home! When I adopted Pekoe in October from the shelter where I volunteer, I listed CTFHC as my choice for care of Pekoe on the adoption agreement. I was giving Pekoe some adjustment time in her new home before taking her to CTFHC for a wellness check and vaccine updates. In the meantime, Pekoe had a seizure. CTFHC worked her into their scheduled appointments for the day. In addition to an overall wellness check, they updated her vaccines, trimmed her nails, and ran a myriad of lab tests including urinalysis. Pekoe's experience at CTFHC was beyond amazing from the time we arrived to the time of pickup that same evening. This is definitely a feline friendly facility as evidenced immediately by the fact that there are more cat beds and seats than people seats in the waiting area.LOL No worry though. I noticed that kitties arriving for appointments were taken immediately to be seen. The absence of other animal species allows for a calm environment for the kitties which was a priority for me when choosing this care facility for Pekoe who had been mistreated by previous owners and dumped at another shelter where she experienced more trauma. When I arrived to get Pekoe after her day at CTFHC, she was brought out in her carrier all calm and happy to see me. NO TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE HERE!! I left with additional information regarding seizures and received a call from Dr. Clauss the next evening with thorough explanations of lab results and answers to all of my questions - a 45 minute conversation at the end of her long day! By the way, the cost for everything they did for Pekoe was VERY reasonable. Yep, 5 STAR experience at Cat Tails Feline Health Center! Thank you for taking such good care of my Lil Panther!

I’m so grateful to have found not only a feline centric clinic but a clinic that is fully staffed with genuinely compassionate people. Clyde has always been timid by nature and he was terrified at being away from his home and his kitty companion -everyone there helped to soothe him and keep him as calm as possible. They did such an amazing job administering his injections that he didn’t even flinch. I was also blown away by the follow up call we received the next morning. I’ve never had a vets office do that before, not even following a surgical procedure. Most physicians offices don’t even take the time to do that for their human patients. Your clinic is an absolute gift and we’re so grateful to have found y’all. Thanks for taking such amazing care of our fur baby and providing us a safe, CLEAN, warm environment to take him where we can absolutely trust that he will be loved and treated with the utmost kindness and gentle compassion. Love this veterinarian! The waiting room is super quiet, the staff is friendly, and they take you and your kitty back to a room and let your kitty have time to get out of their carrier and explore and calm down before the vet sees them. The rooms are clean and inviting with places for your kitty to hide. Dr. Reed is super knowledgeable and so kind. I appreciated that the staff was patient and took their time with my kitty Smokey, and didn't rush or force her for her tests. They truly understand cats here! We are switching vets and bringing all our kitties here. They are just simply amazing.

My first visit there and they treated my cat very well. They were great at trying to make her as comfortable as possible and gave her some time in the room to feel a little more comfortable. They tried to keep everything as quiet as possible for her. While in the main waiting room area, one employee was about to vacuum and I told the lady at the front desk if they are going to vacuum I would have to take my cat outside (because my cat freaks with a vacuum). Instead they asked the employee not to vacuum. VERY CONSIDERATE. They also gave my cat a toy to take home, and now my cat wont put it down. LOL. These people at Cat Tails truly know how to take care of cats. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for care for their cats!

The vets and staff here obviously love their job and have a passion for cats. I have been going here for over five years. They know me and my cat. The vets ask relevant questions about my family and home so they can get a good picture of my cat's living situation so they can tailor how they treat her. They do a great job of following up after visits and are always willing to answer questions.

Dr. Klauss and her staff provide exceptional, outstanding service for your pet. I will never forget, on my first visit, when Dr. Klauss met my cats at the their level -- on the floor. Dr. Klauss actually sat down on the floor and got to know my cats. The visit did not feel rushed and Dr. Klauss took the time to answer my questions and was genuinely interested in getting to know my pets. My older cat can be quite vocal about her displeasure at being in the vet's office and the staff was more than wililng to work with me to streamline her visits. In fact, for all the fuss (and yowling!) kitty made in the exam room, the staff still tried to calm her and did their best to make the visit go quickly. I get that you're not going to love my kitties like I do but if I choose you to be their veterinarian, I want to see you take an interest in them and be concerned for their overall well being. Dr. Klauss and her staff do exactly this -- and go above and beyond. If you are looking for a caring professional, you need look no further than Cattails Feline Health Center.

I visited last week and could not believe the very calm and quite environment. My cat Pumpkin usually get nervous and growly at the vet. He didn't this time. I drove an hour to visit Cat Tails because my regular vet does not carry Purevax Rabies shots. I'm glad that Cat Tails does.

They really care about cats. I have had such great experiences at their clinic with all my cats. They were friendly and able to quickly schedule our boys in for what they needed. I especially love that they call to check up on our cats after a procedure! They have cat hiding boxes for the scared kitties.

The vet seems friendly and good at her job, but when you go for something simple you end up waiting an hour for the vet. Mind you there was no one else there. After getting an estimate on what a teeth cleaning would cost and not being comfortable putting a cat under ten pounds on anesthesia for teeth cleaning the office staff harasses my girlfriend on the phone. After deciding not to get the vaccines there do to being charged for another exam for no reason they sent the vet records and attached multiple articles bashing anesthesia-free cleaning. Only go here if you don't care about the quality of care and if you just want a vet who cares about money.

Cattails was awesome with my male tabby. He had a challenging life as a semi-feral kitten before I got him. He has always had fear and trust issues with veterinarians. We went through a couple of vets that were not understanding and appeared fearful of my little guy. They did not know how to calm or handle a fearful cat and consequently made his fearful ferociousness worse. The one doctor we had previously that had been good with him left practice to have children and we were back looking for a new vet. Our experience recently when my little guy got sick and needed care was amazing. They were very good with him and handled him with care for him as well as themselves. I will happily continue taking both of my fur-baby cats to Cattails!

Drs. Clauss and Guillory are terrific. They don't rush you in and out because they want to ensure that they get to the bottom of any problem. They also feel that it is important to get to know their clients as well. I have found them very accessible to answer questions and give me help even when they are packed. They always seem to figure a way to squeeze me and my many cats in for an exam. When the kitties have needed emergency care, referrals for serious disease or specialized services, or helping ease a compassionate ending, they have always been there to see us through. The care that they provide is superlative and would not be what it is without their amazing support staff. Kate, Lindsey, Phyllis, and (of course) Ali (and anyone that I unfortunately forgot) make the visits and follow-ups easy and thorough. You can tell from the moment that you enter and see all of the office cats that have accumulated through the years, that these people love what they do and are also very good at it!

Being a recent transplant to Colorado from Renton, Washington, I didn't know a vet here. Fortunately, my vet in Renton, WA, referred me to Dr. Clauss, and walking in the door was like being home! Dr. Clauss and Dr. Guillory, as well as the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing! They are caring, compassionate, and kind. They did the very best they could for my sick little boy, and when the time came to say good-bye they couldn't have been any kinder. It was horrible to have to let him go, but the loving kindness shown to me has made it as bearable as possible. I am so grateful to have found them, and as long as I'm in Colorado Springs, I will never go anywhere else!

This place is an absolute life saver! My old boy, Virgil, has always been extremely terrified of vet clinics. So much so that in the past I have had to give him a sedative just to be able to get him checked out. CatTails completely changed that for him!
