REVIEWS OF Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital IN Colorado

I am very protective over my cat and dog (Maltese). I looked all over and never was impressed with any of the vets. Then went to Caring Hands, Saw a few different Dr. Then landed with Dr. Blackstone. She is THE BEST! She has worked with both my girls, and she is so beyond amazing. She is caring and gentle and really walked through each step with me, was SO patient and her knowledge is amazing. If you are looking for a good vet she is the one. She calls to check up with how my girls are after she sees them and returns my calls- just overall AMAZING. Highly Recommend, and this is coming from one of those crazy animal mom's people talk about!! :) Also- did see Dr. Parrish once, she was helping with my cat when Dr. Blackstone wasn't available- she too is great!!!

Kelsey Steen

Excellent service from all staff members. I feel so at ease when Caring Hands is tending to my pets!

I took my dog in requesting xrays of his right hind leg, history of ACL damage, the vet had bad work done an no xrays now 6 wks later my dog is not able to walk an is scheduled for surgery at Planned pethood on Harlan St in Denver where they actually know what they are doing an talking about, she sent my dog home no xrays an he ends up needing surgery, if she had xrays done ahe would've seen the damage, miss know it all vet, I wouldn't take your word for nothing my dog is in pain bc you didnt look as should've been done, I do t think she should be allowed to treat animals, incidents like this is what gives me this low opinion of her skills an knowledge as a vet I hope she loses her license to practice as a veterinarian

Cindy Miller

Love my vet! I drive from Greeley to see them. I've been going here for over 8 years. They've literally saved 3 of my pets

Linda Long

I have been taking my pets to Caring Hands since 2004. I would not go to another veterinary hospital, they are the best. The staff has changed over the years but it is still the best. The vets are the best, I believe we have been seen by all of them at one point. I highly recommend Caring Hands to all pet lovers!

Marty Luman

The attention to detail and how much the care and how compassionate they are for

Tracey Snyder

I have an exotic pet, a Bengal cat. She has a ton of stomach issues. Caring Hands has worked very hard to help us figure out what to do to make her feel better. The staff is very good, and very caring! The vet herself, is very good! She even calls at 7pm, with text results!

Coach Dawn White

I have had the opportunity to board my dogs at other places. I LOVE the kennel arrangement, the hours work well for my schedule, and it really means something when there are many of the same people working there time after time. Thank You!

Crystal Darrow

Great people, really good with my dog.. a little pricey but excellent care of my pet.

Doug G

This is not the first time they have been Un professional and careless. They are too busy for a follow up with our pup because they don't know what is wrong with her. Very happy to never come back and never recommend this place to anyone!

Kate Kippenberger

We started taking our girls (dogs) to Caring Hands a couple years ago when we moved to the area and just love them. You can tell when you walk through the doors that every person there LOVES their job and they show it in the way they take care of our fur babies. We recently lost one after 15 years and they were so gentle and caring through the process for us. I would highly recommend Caring Hands!

Kevin Luman

Love this place. Have been taking our dogs here for years. Since they were over across the street in the King Soopers strip mall. I have had the honor of Dr Henry and Dr Blackstone as my dogs primary Vets. They have helped save my boxers life twice now. They have also helped me through the hard decision of saying goodbye to two of our dogs. The environment is clean, secure and very professional. Dr Blackstone performed emergency Surgery on our Boxer to save her life. She started the surgery at 10 minutes before they closed and was in surgery for at least 2 hours past their closing time. Some of the staff stayed late with us in the waiting room. All with a kind and glad heart. Gracie is 10 now and Mr G is 2 and half. I live in Fort Morgan now and will continue to make the trip to see the best.

Clint Walker

They always treat my buddy as if he were their own.

Jeff Idol

Impressed with the care here with our cats and dogs. Their prices cannot be beat, went in expecting invoice shock, and was shocked in reverse. The staff is excellent and friendly. Great location, and facility is super nice. Cannot recommend enough.

Brent Harris

Never have had a bad experience here. They always accommodate and make our dogs feel as comfortable as possible. The only downfall is that on occasion when scheduling appointments they fill up quickly and can end up being a week or two out until you can get a basic appointment.

Joshua Thompson

Took good care of my pup but need to disclose prices before they perform the procedures. Thought i was getting the "normal" $45 blood test that i had gotten about 10 times but they just did the full blood panel for $150. Kinda shocked when i went to go checkout.

Brittany

We have visited Caring Hands twice in the past week with our 3 pups; emergency stitches and exam/vaccinations. We used to go to another vet, but after our dog's last visit, we decided to look elsewhere. The care and knowledge displayed at Caring Hands blew our old vet out of the water! We were taken back for our appointments right away, no sitting in the waiting room forever to be seen. I was so impressed with how much time they took to make our pets feel comfortable and fully explain everything to my husband and I. Highly recommend!

Bryon Brown

I have always felt welcomed and always well informed on getting great care for my dog Maestro! He loves going to Caring Hands Veterinary which says a lot! Sincerely, Byron Brown

This was an emergency for my precious cat. Dr Rosenthal was available to see us as soon as I arrived. She was very thorough in evaluating my cat's problem, explaining the tx options & I felt she cared about how l felt about the diagnosis. Everyone was so efficient and thoughtful I would recommend this Vet group very strongly. By the way, I have 3 cats and they are all seen there.

Brandon Palmer

We will NEVER take one of our pets anywhere else. Caring Hands deserves every accolade and praise for their love of the fur children we hold so dear. You cannot go wrong bringing your fur baby to this stellar vet! Specific thanks to our dream team - Dr. Stacey Jones and our little Mack's favorite person ever, Hannah.

Michael Mclane

Best service you will find, but you will pay for it. Overpriced.

Daniel Balog

Our cat got hit by a car and I took her in for an urgent care visit. When the vet walked into the room, she presented me with a printed estimate before even looking at the cat. I felt so taken advantage of in a horrible situation like that, and that wasn’t the first time I did with them. It seems like business is their first and foremost concern, rather than your pet’s well being. Boarding is getting more expense every time we call, an annual visit with shots not under $150, and the constant attempt to cross-sell services and products. When we got a new kitten, our old lady didn’t want to eat anymore so we took her in. After a series of blood tests (under sedation), a recommended x-ray (which we declined) and about $300 later, it turned out she was just being depressed and needed an appetite stimulant. How can you let a perfectly healthy pet undergo all of this instead of trying the obvious thing first? Not very “caring” in my opinion. After coming here for three years with two cats, we’re taking our cats’ care elsewhere.

Rich Hirsch

DR Brookstone and staff are amazing. Great place

Rachel Murphy

Treat my fur baby like family. So sweet

Eric Rossi

We've been taking our baby boys there for 8 years. None of the staff has ever been rude or immature to me or anyone else in my family. Good, professional office with quality care.

Michael Edie

Always take my loved ones here. I'd like to thank the staff for being amazing always.

Rachelle Storti

Our vet Dr. Parrish is the best!

Karyn Leible

what a great experience! as a first time cat owner I had many questions the vet took time to answer my questions and examine my very curious cat. the front staff was very accommodating.

Dan Somewhere

As said by previous reviews the service was spectacular & the staff was very friendly & helpful. The only reason I only gave three stars is because of the cost. If you don't mind spending a ton of money for the same service that other vet offices offer for a quarter of the price then disregard this review. For example I inquired about a teeth cleaning for my 6 year old dog & was told they start at 500.00 & then adjust to 800.00 if a tooth extraction is needed. So I went to petsmart, had great service & only paid 200.00 with no tooth extraction. I would love to go back if they would be cost competitive.

We have recently moved to thearea and had no friends that could watch our difficult boy, Herms. I've never EVER wanted to board him because he is a rescue (was a stray), I didn't want him to think we left him. Due to a family emergency, I had no choice, and this looked like the best place. I called ahead of time and let them know how difficult Herms could be and that I was worried about boarding him. They were incredibly accommodating in letting me come tour the facility prior to drop off and really explaining what they do for boarded dogs and how they do it. Everyone I talked to was amazingly kind, patient and understanding. They let me bring one of Herms toys with him, and completely understood and accommodated his difficulty. Since then, we have made them our primary vet, even though they are a bit pricy, it's 100% worth it for the care, love and openness we receive from them. Their slogan about being the "other" family doctor is correct! I feel great bringing my dogs in for regular visits and boarding , they REALLLY TRULY CARE about my babies

Mark Allen

Wow. What can I say about such a wonderful and caring place. They have always treated my doggies with such love and respect over the many, many years I have been with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and do every chance I get. They have great hours and a fantastic facility.

David Lott

I simply love Caring Hands. Vets or truly caring, staff is knowledgeable and I has used them as my vet for many years now.

Kali MacKenzie

We have been to a lot of vets in the Thornton area and Caring Hands is by far our favorite. They are reasonably priced and always provide awesome care for our puppies. I don't feel like I am nickel and dimed here and that I can trust that they are doing the best for my pups. I especially appreciate the great communication. They are realistic on time lines and always keep you in the loop with what is going on. Also, I love their hours.

Robin Ayers

Wonderful people!

Jenn Ellis

No longer the vet we used to love We have been going to this vet for 15 years. The last few years we have run into poor service, frustrating issues, and no longer the pleasant experience we preferred with our large dogs. Focus seems to be on fees and revenue vs working with their clients. This will be the year we seek out a new vet for our pets.

Chris B

Great place been doing business for years but just started recently again with the new puppy

Norma Wilkes

I’m dog sitting for my parents who are on vacation. I take their dog to Caring Hands for a day of doggie day care because my best friend was having major surgery today. The dog didn’t eat her breakfast so I packed it up and brought it with us so she could eat a little later around lunch time. Come to pick her up and the dog food is still in the bag and they didn’t feed her at lunch. The food I took with us stayed in the bag the whole day so needless to say the dog went ALL DAY without eating. So we get home and the dog literally eats 2 bowls of food because she’s that hungry! So upset and disappointed!!!!!

Joan Kerr

We just lost our beloved Chuhuahua Neutron and I am so happy we entrusted the process to Caring Hands and Dr. Micaela Rosenthal and team. She made a very emotional and difficult situation into a very peaceful, supportive and loving one.

Kendra Simpson

The best pet place ever! It's not just the best veterinary care you can find for your fur babies, it's the best day care and grooming too. Every time we go, my expectations are exceeded. We have four dogs and two cats and this is the only place for our fur babies. Lulu had surgery today and Dr. Blackstone and her team as well as the whole Caring Hands team gave her 6 star service. The other three babies were pampered in puppy dog daycare. They love your babies and give them first class care!

Taneca Smidt

Caring Hands has always taken care of my pups. They are very friendly and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality veterinary care for their pets.

Lynne Avery

Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital has been our "other" family doctor for over 10 years. They've seen our pets through everything from routine dental care through knee surgery and end of life decisions. The care and compassion of the vets, particularly Dr. Stacy Jones, as well as the entire office staff is nothing short of incredible. If you have a cat or a dog that needs veterinary care, you won't find better care than at Caring Hands.

Jeff Miller

Friendly staff, excellent service, reasonable charges. I'd recommend Caring Hands to anyone.

Gi Gi

I'm new to the area. The people working here are very personable and kind to my pets. I want desperately to find a vet near me that has great hours like they have. On one visit for my dog to have an anal gland expression, they found she didnt need it and didnt charge me for it. Wonderful! But I have also experienced others' reviews about the surprise pricing. I made an appointment just for my dog to have a vaccine and they charged me for that plus a $56 wellness exam. But she's already had her annual exam only this fall, which was in her chart. They listened to her heart and weighed her - wasn't even a comprehensive exam. I'll address this with them when I get my detailed invoice they said they'd send me and I'm sure it will get corrected. But I will need more up front pricing for my needs.

Michelle Hix

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean, calm and comfortable facility. We have been very pleased with the level of customer service that Caring Hands Veterinary has provided to our family.

Brandon Arndt

This Vet offers all types of care for your pet from health care to boarding and daycare to grooming this is truly a one stop shop for all your pets needs. They have a small store in the lobby where you can get pet food or toys for your fur baby. My wife and I take our pet to this facility for all of his needs and they do a wonderful job. The staff is all extremely kind and willing to help with any of your needs. They are very knowledgeable and make sure they take the best care of your pet as possible. The one reason I did not give this place a 5th star on the rating is because this place is EXTREMELY expensive. All the types of services provided will cost you significantly so beware but, know you will get great service!

Kris Marcelli

We have been coming here for over 3 years and couldn't imagine a better vet. We have been to a lot of vets and this is the only one that provides the same love and care time after time. We see Dr Holwegner and she is incredibly caring to our dogs and us. She is very personal and and takes our visits and gives us all options all the time. She remembers the dogs and their history and personal things about us. We are lucky to have her as our vet. The facility is always clean and organized. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Hands down the best vet!!

Scott Alderman

Very friendly and customer service team

Dan Doyle

Meets my expectations. Did not pressure me on a teeth cleaning for my dog it put a guilt trip on my overweight dog. Took me in exactly when our appointment was set and we were in and out quickly. Took payment in same room as the exam.

Pure Air Solutions

Yesterday we brought in our 90 year old Golden for pain management. The doctor, vet tech and staff were so friendly and genuinely happy to be working there. It was so nice that our old man was in such a good place. We were happy to learn that he might still have some time left on his side with a little bit of weight management and arthritis medicine. We also checked out the boarding area while we were there and were very happy to know both our dogs would be in good hands while we would be gone. I highly recommend caring hands Veterinary clinic for all your pet needs.

Becca Temple

Best best place to take your furry loved ones. I had a very scary day yesterday with my furry one and they took all of the necessary precautions AND even called me to check in to see how he was doing. Having a vet we can count on and trust is one of the most important parts of owning a pet. Very satisfied!!

Nicholas Zepeda

Facility: Very clean. Looks like a human clinic/spa. Staff: So friendly. Very professional. Patient with pets. Pricing: Competitive. I have used Caring Hands for their Veterinary services as well as their grooming services and I couldn't be happier!! Every time I walk through the doors I know for a fact that my furry friend will be taken care of with as much love as I would. I've been to other places where the staff is obviously there to just collect a paycheck. That's a deal-breaker for me. Not here; the staff is there because they love what they do and they love working with animals. The front desk staff is attentive and quick. There has never been anything out of place in the facility either. Always clean and fresh.

Katherine

Very friendly staff and welcoming interiors when you first step inside.

E. Wong

Awesome place and staff. They know how to handle a dog with aggression towards other animals. Working with me to take my boy through the back/side door to keep everyone safe. Some services can be pricey but all worth it when it comes to professionalism.

shelby pachl

I went In to this clinic expecting to have an ACL surgery on my dog Homer. The Surgeon at this establishment who conducts ACL surgeries found i was misdiagnosed previously. He unfortunately found bone cancer in my dogs leg. Two vets didn’t see what he could and he was incredibly helpful and unbelievably professional when describing our options. Although this clinic couldn’t help me, i felt Taken care of and never rushed.

Tabitha Tran

We took our sweet Bingo here for the past 4 years. He had many issues going on for about 3 years including a hernia, double hernia (both surgeries done at Caring Hands) and congestive heart failure (diagnosed last March). We can not thank Dr. Jones & Hannah enough for the care they provided for him. Dr. Jones is one of the most caring individuals that I have ever met & treated Bingo as if he were her own. She worked with us in adjusting his medication to make sure that he was completely comfortable and that everything was working properly. After moving over an hour away, we continued to travel to Caring Hands because of the care they provided. Dr. Stacy Jones & Hannah (including all that work here) are HEROS! They always went above and beyond their job duties for us & Bingo. Bingo's heart failure (life expectancy was 3 to 9 months) began to take a turn at 10 months. I do not believe that he would have been here that long if it wasn't for the amazing care that they gave to him. Dr. Jones called after each surgery to check in on him & randomly would call throughout the years just to see how he was doing. Dr. Jones & Hannah were kind enough to travel the hour to do an in home euthanasia for Bingo. This was one of the hardest decisions that we've had to make but knowing that they would be the ones coming, it make a hard decision a tiny bit easier. We are very much still in the grieving process but the amount of care and compassion these women not only gave to Bingo, but also to us is unforgettable. Thank you again for all that you have done for us & Bingo.

Greg Jarrett

I cannot explain how amazing this place is. They have taken amazing care of my two dogs every time we have had to take them in for emergencies and other visits. They can handle a major surgery to getting my dog to vomit up my kids playdoh. Thanks guys!!

Jackie Hicks

Friendly but expensive

Rossi s

Wonderful clinic , love the ladies up front and they have wonderful Doctors

Stephanie Klose

Awesome care

Casey Tallant

Took my cat in because she typically goes to a traveling vet for all her shots, and I needed an actual place to bring her as a "primary care" vet since we didn't have one. Glad I made the choice to bring her here they were very nice, have a private cat room and tbh my cat loved the vet, she was really scared at first but calmed right down for the vet and let her do her thing. Cats know when people are good people and so do I, and we are satisfied. ❤️

Briteni Richmeier

The people who work here will rob you blind. My cat had complications delivering her kittens and she ended up becoming really sick and lethargic. She wouldn't eat and I was afraid she still had more kittens. So, I took her here and they confirmed there were no more kittens but basically told me that unless I got her fixed and removed extra tissue /fluids from her pregnancy of same day procedure for $3,000, that she wouldn't have a good chance of surviving. And the reason it would be so expensive was because they were removing extra tissue. They put her on antibiotics and I asked how much a scheduled procedure would be. They told me $600 dollars. I felt so desperate because I didn't have that much money. So, I took my cat home and called a clinic in Fort Morgan where I'm from. They told me that it would be $100 dollars to fix her and there isn't such thing as having to remove extra tissue/fluids. Moral of the story: these people lie and play on your emotions and take advantage of you.

Lynn Farrer

I love Caring Hands! The groomers, the techs, the docs... all skilled and caring.

Michelle Archuleta

I have been taking my cat here for two years now, and have had nothing but caring vets and techs. The place is clean and comfortable. The techs are gentle with my cat, and always offer a room right away to get out of the busy lobby with dogs.

Ivan Monce

Clean place. Staff is nice and knowledgeable.

Don Cheshek

They care and have the love you do to your a animals.

Jamey Brannon

Everyone is very friendly

Chris Randle

All of the people at Caring Hands are great. Dr. Jones, especially, is an amazing Veterinarian and a wonderful person to work with. We and our pets are lucky to get to work with her.

Julie moon

They take super care of my baby!!!! I love this place!

T- Bone

There many reasons I take my Greyhounds to Caring Hands. The best way to explain it is in their name "Caring Hands" we have had 5 dogs with them and each and every experience from life to death has been with care and professionalism. Truly and amazing group.

Sandy Duran

We have used Caring Hands for 10 years and we love them. Dr. Jones is the best vet there is. She knows greyhounds like no other. The other vets are really good also. They may be a little more expensive but do you really worry about that with a member of your family. They have always been there for us and we recommend them to everyone we meet. They treat us like family and they care for our dogs like they are their own. Even if I moved an hour away I would always stay with them. The staff is amazing also and they know our dogs by name. Nothing but the best for our girls.

Cecilia B

Was very patient with my girl Tula

Krystle Ladaena

Fantastic caring staff that has always taken amazing care of our dogs and cats regardless of the situation.

April Dryburgh

Was able to get an urgent care visit for my dog on a Sunday even though I have not been to them before. Very compassionate towards my dogs health and going over cost and options.

Mindy Ehler

Found my new vet by accident after my Henry became sick. They are amazing. Got him in that day after hours. They are so kind and gentle. Was impressed with the Dr, she got on the floor with Henry and did his exam. Henry was instantly comfortable despite not feeling himself.

Paige Szajnuk

Vets seem to truly care about the animals and their owners.

Aaron Bonner

If you're looking for a vet who will treat your furry or feathered family member like their own, Caring Hands is it, bar none. We discovered them when our cat cut open his paw and we needed emergency surgery. They worked with us to get him in within an hour and took the absolute best care of him. We were so pleased that we brought our other cat for a dental check-up! Instead of stressing her out, Dr. Parrish and her tech literally sat on the floor to do part of the exam where my cat was comfortable. The entire staff is amazingly friendly and professional, the facility is the cleanest I have ever seen, and small things like calming pheromones in the cat rooms make them incredible.

Loriel D

Prices are high and the grooming appointment are over a month out. They also cancel appointments often. The staff is nice though.

drillnpick

Been going to CHV since I moved here 4 years ago. Although, when I do go there now they act as if they dont know me. Their boarding prices continue to rise and have become too strick. No outside bedding allowed, no toys, nothing from home basically. Then there are the vaccines that they always seem to come up with, adding to the boarding costs which are high as it it! I asked for my 1 year old puppy to have daycare while he boarded overnight, as you can imagine he needs it, well apparently that request was simply ignored. No playtime was given to my puppy for the more than 24 hours he was there. I tried to take him to the daycare the other day and they ended up putting him inside a kennel. Said that he was too aggressive for their "regulars". Yes he was a little frightened but they didnt give him a chance to get comfortable before they yanked him outta there. He's only 15 pounds so I'm certain he was no threat. He is socialized, hes around other dogs all of the time. Needless to say I will NEVER step foot in this money pit again, never.

Sean H

My dogs are big and wild. I rescued them and work very hard training them, but they are not there yet. Caring are where I go for boarding. I can tell my boys have been well taken care of. Thanks guys!

Gabby Yuffa

Very disappointed in the grooming and the customer service at caring hands. We took our dog in this past monday to be groomed and noticed today he had some clotting behind his ear which we didnt notice because I didnt think I had to inspect my dog for injuries after a grooming and he is a massive dog and very fluffy. It looks as though they used a razor and cut him many times. We called the owner and although he offered to treat the cuts what was most disappointing was the way the owner handled the situation. He was very focused on defending his groomer and trying to minimize my dogs injuries. I dont care who your people are, they hurt my baby and your job is to focus on him and only him. I dont want to hear how much experience she has or how it's only happened twice in 1000 cuts, because it happened to my dog. He also tried to blame my dog for being high energy saying that he is wiggly and that's maybe why he got cut. I was highly disappointed in the customer service but there was no point in arguing with someone's who's clear concern was himself and his people and certainly not my dog. I understand making a mistake, but when that happens an owner should be more concerned with that mistake and making it better than telling me all about the staff member that made the mistake and how good she os. We will never return here and I wouldn't wish this upon any other dog and dog family.

Jenn Boback

My dog loves it here! Great staff and environment! Love that it's close to home!

Dianna de Cordoba

Dr. Blackstone and her assistant Ruth are simply fabulous. They are so kind and caring . I am so happy that our dogs are under such professional and compassionate care.

Loretta Ibanez

Loved the staff, they get an A+

Cindy Remington

My experience with Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital has always been a positive one. The staff there are wonderful with animals! My dog was very sick and the vet called me twice to keep me informed on her progress throughout that day. She answered all of my questions, even the silly ones, with great professionalism. I always feel comfortable leaving my dog there and know she will be treated just as if she were at home! This clinic is AWESOME!! I would HIGHLY recommend it to others!

Alejandra Valles

Outstanding care! Have taken my dog several times, staff are super friendly, reasonable prices and they really care about your pets. The doctors are very professional. I previously took my dog to other vets, where staff was not friendly and couldnt determine what was wrong with my dog.

Dusty DuVall

I was very impressed with the quality of the service. Dr. Rosenthal was great, very thorough and took the time to explain things and answer questions. She was wonderful. We just moved here from out of town and we have found the quality of care we were looking for.

Jessica Hall

Caring hands has been our vet of choice for the past year. Having moved around a lot, we have experienced both good and bad vet practices. Caring hands is one of the better vet facilities we have been part of. Their prices are a little steeper than some, but for good reason- they are thorough, articulate and kind. There have been a few hiccups during our visits, but they handled everything with great customer service and care. If you are in Thornton or Westminster and are looking for a caring vet practice, check out Caring Hands.

Erin Rust

Boarded my dog here. They require vaccines that my dog didn't have, but they were able to administer them the same day and they didn't cost much. My dog seemed to like the place, I would bring her back again. When I picked her up, they even went over how she did a little, which I appreciated.

Sarah T

Can be a little bit of a wait even with an appointment but the staff are very friendly and accommodating

Ashley Michels

I had a Doberman and a labrador retriever 2 years ago and they really helped them go in peace. Now i have two dogs one is from a shelter and one from a breeder, they have helped with vaccines, shots, and operations. My one dog got hurt and have had to have stiches, they were great with comforting her. I highly recommend this great clinic.

Thomas Jones

Great place, clean facility, caring staff.

littlefred811

They were kind as well as considerate of my youngest kid's feelings. Got us squeezed in with no notice. I like them very much.

Miles France

Always great care for your furry friends.

Dana Valadez

Took my dachsund there and he has very bad anxiety issues. His previous vet he would cry and jump on me and howl while there but he was a completely different dog at this vet. He loves it here. The facility is very clean and the staff is amazing. Receptionists were very professional and knowledgeable and the tech and doctors that treated him really took great care of him. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my baby!

Mark De Cordoba

Our primary vet, animal hospital and boarding center. Have only had great experiences here with our dogs, and been customers almost 15 years. I highly recommend it for your pets.

Justin Flanders

I will not be taking my pets anywhere else. This place was clean like a medical facility for humans. The staff were so friendly. The prices were very fair. All around a great experience.

Julie Herrera

I reslly dont like how there grooming works. Horible customer service. Kinda seemed racist.

Steve McCombs

Our little 8 year Havanese dog Buddy has had bad teeth problems. Additional health concerns regarding sedation could have caused more problems. The expert care and removal of the infected teeth have given Buddy a new lease on life, acting like a puppy again. Thank you everyone at Caring Hands.

Patrick Allen

This is a good veterinary and boarding pet hospital.

Barbara Derr

When I first started with Caring Hands they were in a very small place. Then they moved to this bigger place that was being built for them. All of their staff is very helpful and pleasant to work with. We had taken a weeks vacation to Texas and this was the first time I would be away from my dog. They followed every direction I gave them. When I picked him up he seemed happy to see me, but sad to be leaving the boarding team. I would highly recommend this veterinary hospital for all of your needs. They will never disappoint you, within their power. Barbara Derr

Bridget B

I was able to get an appointment the same day so I didn't have to pay for emergency services. They will always give you a quote before any services. Staff is very nice. Comparable prices to other places.

Earline Slaughter

Excellent staff. Very compassionate and understanding at a very difficult time. Very caring and professional. This is the best clinic ever!

We no longer go here because if we disagreed with the vet we felt we were treated with condescension and pressure to buy products we didn't agree with (and didn't need). I've had animals my whole life and though not a vet I do know some home treatments work better than traditional ones and natural diets are better than corn based mainstream kibble. This place will care for your pet in their way - which if that's the same view you share then it will be a good fit.

Caring Hands represents all you could want in a veterinary hospital -kind staff and experienced doctors all housed in a beautiful facility. My cat, Luna, is a sweet kitty, but she is a very shy rescue cat. I was amazed at how professionally Dr. Mills was when working with Luna, quickly earning her trust and taking care of her stomach problem. Dr. Rhoades is great as well, clearly passionate about his patients. Highly recommended!

Dog loves this place, so I love this place.

These people only care about making money; not the care of animals. I took both of my recently new adopted puppies to see them. I spent nearly $300 being seen, which was fine. Then I spent another $180 on the last set of shots, which was fine again. However this last set of shots my dog has a huge bump and is in pain. I was told it was a reaction from the shots and she needed to be seen as soon as possible. I asked them if I was going to be charged for this? They stated yes I was gonna be charged another $80 for them to look at the bump that was caused by the vaccines. Really? Certainly $500 just on the dogs and another $200 on my cat. I told him that I cannot afford that at this time, and they said that if I didn’t pay the $81 I couldn’t be seen. Don’t you think a true vet would be concerned of the dog rather 81? Oh and by the way, they charge nearly $500 per dog to be spayed or neutered. Total rip off

I can't say enough about Caring Hands. They have been phenomenal with both of our pets. Yes, sometimes the waits are a bit long, but to me that does not matter because when it is my pet's turn they are never rushed and give them their fullest attention. We had an emergency with one of our beloved kitty this week and they saw us each time with no delay. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and compassion in our time of worry.

Caring hands is the perfect Hospital for someone whose animals are their only family, or where money is no object. Neither of those apply to me. Caring hands is also great for dogs. I have a cat. With the day care, there are a lot of excited dogs...not the ideal situation to bring a sick cat into. I have a coworker who requested a prescription to take and have filled elsewhere. Caring hands was going to charge 35 dollars for an antibiotic, she got from a pharmacy for 5 dollars. Caring hands is a beautiful facility, and you are going to pay top dollar. I will return to a prior vet who is not in the newest and greatest building, but is concerned for my cats health within our families means. They also have a separate entrance for cats, which is a much better set up in my opinion. If money is no object...this is the perfect place for your dog...they are very, very, very proud of their services.

The staff is so wonderful to all the pets and owners. Been taking our pets here for 15 years.

This place is an absolute SCAM when it comes to pet boarding. On our first experience we were told that our pets vaccination history was needed from our primary vet and we would be contacted if anything more was needed. We never got a call so we thought all was fine until we showed up on the day and were informed that our dog needed two vaccinations to be allowed to stay. This added another $50 to the total. As upset as we were we had no choice at that point and agreed. On top of that these people did not feed our dog correctly or give her the meditations that we specifically instructed them to give her. I believe in second chances so I called them again to try and set up another appointment. Now I am told that less than a month later our dog required a $30 booster shot before she can stay. This is the last straw. Caring Hands only cares when their hand is reaching into your wallet. Seriously - Do not give this place your business. If I could give 0 stars or negative stars I would.

Liz Buderus

My dog loves it here. She goes to daycare 2x per week and they are fast in getting her from me so I can get kids to school and on to work on time. Doctors are knowledgeable and friendly.

We have used Caring Hands for the care of our feline family for the last 4 years. On every occasion we have received compassionate care be it during routine wellness visits or making very difficult end of life decisions. While every vet we have seen has been wonderful, we especially appreciate Dr. Rothman.

Great place, we've had to put down two beloved animals and they were absolutely amazing.

Karen Stark

As always, great staff and Dr. We have never had a bad experience here

Katherine R.

Excellent urgent care for our dog.

Sydney Martinez

Completely incompetent girls. They were rude and lack basic communication skills. I'm waiting for a call back from the manager....I won't hold my breathe. They act as if grooming a dog is rocket science....maybe they should stick to cleaning the parking lot like they were doing as I drove up. Do not recommend at all!

Tara Anderson

They take such good care of my family . Conan gives them 2 paws up❤

I have taken all of my dogs to caring hands. They have been helpful with every situation. I would never think to take them somewhere else!! My boxer has behavioral problems and they let him be in the puppy class so he could get use to people and other dogs. They worked with him the whole day and he LOVED every minute of it. Thank You Caring Hands!!

Caring Hands is a great place to take your pet! Their friendly staff is very patient with you and your animal and they are excellent at explaining anything they are doing from a basic exam to major surgery. I recommend Caring Hands to anyone in the Denver area looking for a caring clinic with well qualified staff and an excellent facility!

Gail Casey

Everything about Caring Hands in wonderful - even the parking! I have been a long time client and will forever take my furbabies there for treatment. Kindness, compassion, and a true regard for animals makes this the place to go!

Kitten Kotz

Dr. Evans is super sweet and caring! She takes excellent care of my fur babies! The staff is friendly and makes me and my dogs feel welcome.(in my picture, the arrow points to a black cat who thinks he is a dog

i had an emergency, my pup ate all meds. (Lyrica). I gave him 2 table spoons of Hydrogen Peroxide, and he threw up a lot of them. I called Caring Hands, and they said come in as fast as you can get here. they took Ule and took him immediately, and took care of him. All my pups are rescues, and not the best behaved, but the gave him IV's and gave me some medication for his throat because throwing up like that. Since my regular vet didn't do emergency anymore, I used Caring Hands, and was very happy with the treatment. If I could give them 20 starts I'd do it. Helped my other dogs Christmas and Patches. Super great people, super great help. Just sent a friend there. The only reason that I don't use them now is that we moved to Missouri, and that's kind of a long commute. Smiles!

Very clean place. Staff was amazing thank you.

Elizabeth Dalbotten

I love it at Caring Hands. They treat all my dogs with such care. They are gentle and caring.

Jake Nelson

The staff is extremely caring and thoughtful.... We had to put our 14 year old dog to rest due to cancer. My family and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate staff. They're incredible!!

Mary Jo Cook

I love these guys. Great support staff. The vets know their profession. I have been to several of the vets there, really I like and trust them all. Fully focused on your pet. They really do care and are all about your pet. I use their doggy daycare at times. They interact with them. They have a supervised small and separate large dog area. My dogs loves going there. They also have dig boarding and grooming on site.

Mark Quintanilla

These guys are great. They seem to work well with my dog. The place is always clean. They are conveniently close to me which is even better. I've never used their boarding services so i can't speak to that but they call and follow up on appoints to see how my pet is doing and if I have any follow up questions.

Rick Kullerstrand

staff is very attentive to my dog and takes good care of her. A little pricey, but worth it

About a month ago, we adopted a kitten and took him to Caring Hands for a check up and to get his 8 week shots. Everything was great. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and I thought for sure that we had found our permanent vet. At the end of our visit, I went ahead and scheduled our kitten's 12 week appointment which was to happen tomorrow. Last week, I called the office and asked if it would be okay to bring in another kitten along with the kitten we already had. We had adopted a second kitten as a companion just two weeks ago. I was told that it would be fine if I brought our second kitten in as well. Today, however, I was called to verify my appointment for tomorrow and the staff member I was talking to only mentioned one cat. So, I asked her if it was still okay to bring in our other kitten. At this point, she rudely told me, "No. It is not okay." She then went on to tell me that we had this appointment for months (not true, it had only been 4 weeks ago) and that if I needed to bring in another kitten I should have made a different appointment. She didn't let me tell her that I had already called last week and was told that it was okay. I was rather taken aback by her aggressive tone and rude demeanor, and I told her that she gave me a very unexpected response and that I'll be taking our kittens elsewhere. It really is a shame that this happened, because I really did like our doctor. Apparently, Caring Hands gets so much business that they can afford for their receptionists to be rude and combative with their clients.

Super disappointed in customer service. Have a dog that is normally seen at another clinic in Thornton. He was referred to Aspen Meadow in Longmont, where he was fitted with a Freestyle Libre to monitor blood sugar and where he was prescribed multiple meds to treat his health issues. Because Caring Hands is close to my home and my regular vet doesn't do replacement of the Freestyle Libre, we initially called to see if they would be able to place the sensor. They advised that they would not place the sensor, even if Aspen Meadow provided a referral, without him being seen by a vet first. Obviously, if we are already at a specialized vet, he is being seen frequently (in fact has been hospitalized recently), and another vet visit just to place a sensor would be further financially burdensome. We ended up taking him back to Longmont to get it done. I called again today, because he needs a refill on one of his medications and our regular vet does not carry it. Caring Hands does carry it, not in the exact strength, but they do carry a strength that would work with his dosage. Advised again by a technician that they were completely unable to help me, even with a referral and prescription from Aspen Meadow directly, because we don't have a client/patient relationship. So disappointed that they are a neighborhood vet, with an opportunity to help a pet and pet owner in a tough situation do less driving while trying to deal some significant pet health issues, and they would staunchly refuse to help.

Yolanda Guerrero

We had a great experience at Caring Hands. The Dr. and Nurse took their time in comforting my dogs before getting started. They were friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital for your pets needs. Thank you! Bruno did well with his first Vet appt. thanks to the staff!

Rafal Dudek

Great place. Been there twice with our kitten and both times had good experience.

Tammy H

Definetly one of the best vets I have brought my cats to. Very clean and once they saw me and my two cats in a waiting room full of dogs they quickly brought us into a cat friendly room. Still trying to figure out what is going on with one of my cats, but the staff are very good and patient with my non-vet loving cats.

Aimee Lee

My little pug was a 10 year patient at Caring Hands, and I trusted them with everything when it came to her care. Over the years my pug had 2 surgeries, and many of her teeth pulled here and they did an amazing job caring for her. Great staff, and great doctors. I recently (and very sadly) had them put my pug to sleep, and everyone handled that so well, and were so caring with her and me. I highly recommend this practice.

Donna Boswell

The staff was so lovely during a very difficult decision of euthanasia, and made the process so calm and loving. From the treats offered pre-exam, to the kindness of all of the technicians, and the compassion of the Veterinarian, it was leaps and bounds above previous euthanasia experiences.

Colleen

Dr Parrish & staff are awesome! Very kind & patient.

Ryan Varner

This is such a wonderful place. I was using Eastlake Veterinary and it wasn't terrible, but their front desk and techs lacked professionalism and the office just wasn't on the same page, so I decided to try a new place and Caring Hands didn't disappoint. When I called, they were able to immediately make me an appointment for the same day, they were up front with the fact that it would be $80, not $60 since the visit was after 6 PM and considered urgent care (which I was very appreciative of). I got there, the front desk was nice, the techs were nice, Dr. Sthay was very helpful, friendly and patient with our nervous hound. She gave us options, didn't seem rushed, everyone took the time to make us feel welcome. I will definitely go back to Caring Hands if I have another medical issue with my dogs.

DailyLuv

My dog enjoys the boarding. They give her time to be with other dogs and she goes on walks like every day. I cry every time I have to send her because I miss her so much but when we get her back she is so sweet and pooped that she just grabs her water bowl and brings it to her bed so she can sleep and then take water breaks without getting up.
