Animal Medical Center is the best veterinarian I have ever taken my furry family members to. Everyone in the office cares so much for the animals, from the front desk, to the techs, and the vets themselves. They take the time to talk to you and find out what is wrong with your pet, then they review what their suggestions are moving forward, even if it is to do nothing at that time and then they let you make the final decision. They always call me back quickly, can always fit me in when needed, and never make you feel rushed while you are there. When you have a sick dog or cat it is very stressful, and it is so nice to have someone you trust take care of them with you, and they are very concerned. I recommend anyone take their furry family member to this vet, they are the best!!

I've had two terrible experiences with this business. The first time, I brought in my old dog because I knew she was sick. I told the veterinary that she was not acting like herself, but at her age I didn't want to put her through a lot of painful, stressful or unnecessary tests. He insisted on blood work, biopsy, and medications. None which addressed the problems. Two weeks later she had a stroke late at night and two more before morning. Took her in to be put to sleep. I had to wait for almost 15 minutes. They were kind during the procedure. Then they forgot to call me when her ashes were back. I had to call. The whole experience cost me almost one thousand dollars and I believe two weeks of my dog suffering needlessly. Waited quite a while and ended getting a beautiful dog from the shelter. She had treatable heart worms. The shelter was in the process of treating her and agreed to pay for the treatment. They sent us to the Animal Medical Center. First visit I brought her in and while I was waiting for them to decide where to put us, the lady asks the vet what he wants her to do. He says "oh she's the indigent person sent from the shelter, I'm not going to talk to her, just get her signature and give her the papers. Well, I'm not indigent, but if I were is that really the way to treat me? They refused to answer any of my questions, saying that the papers covered my questions. They didn't. They were very rude. They scared my dog, who is very gentle and well behaved. They even have a donation jar on their desk for people who need help paying for their dogs food and care. I found that very strange for a place where being indigent is treated with such disrespect! The basic point is that I believe I was overcharged for bad treatment. When the shelter was paying they were rude. Neither of my dogs liked the place or felt comfortable there. I don't recommend it.

Have had my 3rd experience with this clinic recently. They are the only ER vet in teller county. Their website offered care credit approval which other vets in area won't accept. But I didn't know. My pup had needed to have her uterus removed because of an infection and they worked with me to get her in quickly and on a day I could watch her after surgery even though it was a non surgery day. They loved and took care of her while being a pit mix. They are there for the animals not just their pocket books unlike the animal clinic of woodland park! After 12 yrs of being a client of animal clinic of woodland park and being denied service for only a few dollars short twice and them shaming me for not having cash I decided animal medical center was a better place for me and my 8 animals.

We've been going to AMC since we got our dog five years ago. We've (us and our dog) always been treated well and feel that we've gotten the best care possible, even if that means referring us to specialists (ruptured disk in her back/ortho specialists). Our dog loves going to doggie day care and we also board her there when we go out of town. We feel confident that she's in good hands at AMC of Woodland Park and can't imagine going elsewhere.

I could not be happier with the professional care our cat Sugarplum received today at WPAMC. We have recently noticed loose stools that elevated to bloody stools. Called WPAMC, and then we were there, in an exam room and with the technician within 30 minutes -- on a Saturday! In under one hour, the full exam by Dr. Thompson was done. They even do blood work in 15 minutes! We received special food, medicines, and truly impressive vet service by the whole team of caring providers at WPAMC. While our cat does need some TLC in the coming days, we could not be more satisfied with the care she received from WPAMC. HIGHLY recommended to animal lovers and pet owners.

I can't say anything about the other vets at this location but DO NOT use Dr. Factor unless you are particularly keen on being overcharged, insulted, made to feel inferior and left with a bad taste in your mouth. I do not believe that Dr. Factor had my cat's best interest at heart. I feel duped for participating in his free cat exam. I DO NOT feel that he adequately takes the time to explain charges or plans and fear mongers you into tests. He was very rude and EXTREMELY condescending towards me once I told him I was going to another vet.

Very thorough and competent staff and friendly! I had the opportunity to use this vet twice (once with Dr. Factor and once with Dr. Thompson) and was impressed each time how they took the time to explain and make sure that the matter was handled effectively. They are very pro-active in keeping up with the progress of the animals. Before any work was done, they brought in an estimate of what the charges would be and in each case they were there within a few dollars, which is pretty good actually. I highly recommend this practice!

I have been using the clinic for a number of years now, have seen it go through three owners and the improvements and additions have been impressive IMHO. The equine facility is a big plus, as is the fact that they have a true 24/7 emergency capability. The doggie day care is awesome and now there are extended hours for the clinic which is greatly appreciated by those of us who work in The Springs. Both Dr. Brady and Dr. Mike are very competent and compassionate vets and will take the extra steps when needed to find the best solution for an issue. They are also not opposed to alternative treatments and will do whatever is required to get answers. Very happy with the quality and types of services and the entire clinic staff!

Dr. Factor and his team were great when we had a sick puppy. He really explained everything he recommended doing. Our little guy had a stroke while we were awaiting test results and we had no choice but euthanasia. The staff and Dr. Factor were extremely supportive and you could tell they felt our pain as well. It was heartbreaking but I feel we had the best veterinarian around to take care of our little guy.

Dr. Thompson and staff took great care of our German Shorthaired Pointer, Jethro, when he tore a toenail while we were here on vacation. They worked us in on a day that they had no available appointments. Reasonable costs, and they were very sweet to Jethro. Thanks again!

I was here on vacation and not even 10 minutes of being at the cabin, my dog slipped her collar and fell off a balcony. She came back immediately with a cut on her chin and limping on her back leg. I took her to see Dr. Kip Madsen the next morning and he was kind, thorough and took the time to explain everything he was doing. Pearl (my dog) ended up having no broken bones or torn ligaments so he treated her with rest and some anti-inflammatory medication. All of the staff was so wonderful! The prices were very reasonable. Being from out of town and having something like this happen was very upsetting and stressful. Thank you to all of the staff for being so helpful!

They are amazing, my pup had two broken legs. They saved him & 5 months later besides the scars he is a normal dog, you would never know he had pins & wires in his knee. Dr. Madson is our hero!

The doctors and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable! Dr. Thompson really cares about his patients! Also I would really like to thank Janelle for being so sweet to my pup pup! She was kind and gentle, not to mention a huge asset to helping me calm my spastic boy! However, I gave two stars due to the fact that if they put as much effort into hiring the appropriate amount of staff as they do for their social media presence it would make a huge difference. While I waited in the lobby and in the room, I was able to observe how frantic the technicians and receptionists are juggling their workload while keeping a smile on their faces. For an emergency hospital to have 4 employees total is troublesome.

We were vacationing nearby and wanted to do some hikes we thought too difficult for our older pup. We saw good reviews online, called and asked some questions and made an appointment. We met with a tech before leaving her for two days and felt really good walking out the door. The employees seemed competent, caring and engendered trust. They were patient with my calls to check on her and when we picked her up she seemed happy. In the days since, I've seen no signs of trauma or anything to indicate that they didn't treat her well. It was a good price for five walks a day and they offered extra services as well. When we come back into town for more hiking, we will bring her here again. So much better than boarding her for a week at home.

We have just moved here from Nevada and I was desperate to find a place my dogs could get great care and stay over night if need be. I called 3 days before we were going to leave to go out of town. ( last minute plans) They were so amazing. They got my dogs right in for a overnight stay and they updated all of my puppies shots while she was there. They were so very helpful! Wonderful staff!

If we could give no stars, we would. Make sure you get ALL the information you need regarding your pet upfront. The communication here is terrible, at best. They scared the death out of us, telling us our dog had cancerous cells, only to find out later that wasn't really the truth. After I complained, I received a call from the owner. His communication was much better, but he still did nothing to fix the situation or adjust our "bill" . He just kept trying to explain why and kept saying " according to our records" . We will not return here nor would we recommend this place to you. Seems like making money is the most important thing here, even though they say they treat your pet like one of their own. Extremely disappointed!!!

I had the pleasure of working beside Dr. Michael Factor and Dr. Thompson over the summer. I learned a great deal from these two professionals by the way that they communicate with their clients, the standards they set for the practice, and their desire to help each patient as if it were their own. I loved coming in to work with Susi, Evi, Blaine, Cami, Nichole, Jackie, Casey, Bonnie and others. This highly accredited practice works extremely hard and is very good at what they do. I would recommend Animal Medical Center of Woodland Park to everyone!

My first visit with Dr. Brady Thompson with cats, Junimoon and Sammy d., was very positive. I enjoyed the way the visit was set up to make sure the cats were examined in stages so they would be comfortable with Dr. and staff. I was looking to take my cats to a "Cats Only" vet, but after researching the only one in the Springs, I wasn't that impressed. I'm glad I brought my cats there, and have set up more appointments for dental and bathing.

Free open parking lot. Handicap accessible parking and entrance. Clinic is clean and we'll ordered. Vet assistants are kind, gentle and very professional. So far my dog has seen Dr. Factor and Dr. Thompson. Both doctors have taken time to get to know my dog and are very reassuring toward him. He's a bit difficult because of fear aggression as he was abused as a small pup. Both of these doctors took as much time as necessary to calm Buddy (my dog) and make him comfortable before examining him. They've always allowed me to be part of his exams and treatments by holdi g him and petting him while they did exams and treatments. They've never wanted to muzzle Buddy, which I wouldn't have allowed as it would have scared him to death. But nobody in this clinic has even suggested it. They've been professional, knowledgeable, and caring toward Buddy and me. I can't thank them enough for their thoughtful caring for my friend. If there was a rating above 5 stars I would have given it to this wonderful clinic.

I could write an essay about how fantastic my experiences have been with this practice, but I will try to keep this relatively short... Dr. Factor and his team saved my cat's life and I am forever grateful for them. My cat, Crookshanks, was suffering with urinary crystals and he had been in and out of different vets for a couple of months. After a very expensive and emotional trip to the Animal Emergency Center in Colorado Springs one night, we found this practice. Dr. Factor took us in immediately. He gave us a print-out of the planned procedure beforehand and everything was very reasonably priced. Theykept our kitty through the weekend (which was tremendous because no veterinary clinics are open on Sundays). Dr. Factor thoroughly explained every procedure, he called to let us know how everything was progressing and he even let us stop in and visit Crookshanks. Crookshanks is now healthier and happier than ever. Each person I've met in this clinic has been lovely, they accept CareCredit and Dr. Factor takes emergency calls. I never want to go to another vet and I have referred everyone I know to this practice.

I brought my dog here all the way from the Springs because I heard they knew their stuff when it came to CCL surgeries. I was very impressed with not only the Dr's knowledge on the topic, but how he patiently spent 45 minutes answering all our questions and walking us through every detail. The technician was also amazing! My dog loved her! This is the first vet my dog has been to where he wasn't shaking the whole time. It was probably due to the friendly staff and the fact that their rooms feel very homey as opposed to the hospital feel you get everywhere else. I would definitely recommend them.

Have read their sign out in front for months and month. It is evident that whomever writes those quips doesn't know or like the feline population. I would not take any of my cats there for that reason. Perhaps they are a vet for dogs and horses only? They are taking every negative stereotype about cats and posting it daily... really not humorous and showing how they feel about felines.

We moved to Woodland Park just a year ago and came to this vet because they were just across the street from where we lived. We were very pleased with the service we recieved. Later we found out that they also offered boarding, Perfect!! Our two dogs and cat have boarded many times since and have always recieved top notch care. We came to Woodland Park to attend Charis Bible College. I have recommended this clinic to several others and will continue to recommend them. They are great and we are Blessed to have them!

We just moved from Colorado Springs to Florissant and needed to change vets. We were able to bring all 3 of our fur babies at one time. The facility was great and the staff was amazing. Even our shy Schnauzer let everyone pet him. Great idea putting the exam table under a window. Our cat sat there and watched all the dogs playing and it made it less stressful to him.

I took my pet in to get the health certificate and other papers needed for moving to Thailand with her. This certificate has to be completed by a USDA veterinarian and Dr. Kip was amazing! Extremely gentle and friendly! Every person we interact with from the guy at the desk, to the tech, to the vet and even the cool guy taking care of the dogs in the doggy day care was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was kid friendly with toys and books for the kids to borrow too. We highly recommend this place!
