They helped my dog Quentin with an emergency minor surgery after he was attacked by a loose dog on a late night walk. The staff was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable. A little bit of a wait, as to be expected. They needed to handle a few other more pressing emergencies. The price was quite reasonable.

Best experience ever! Dr. Robertson was amazing with our 2 ferrets, she was very knowledgeable and helpful, I drove 2 hours just to make sure my fur babies had the best care and it was absolutely worth it! And her student Amber was an absolute pleasure as well.

They did a fantastic job trying to get to the bottom of why our beloved guinea pig was so sick. In the end although it was very expensive and he died abruptly I know he was in good hands and they did a great job taking care of him!

love it. I once brought a injured bird to here, they took over and also promised they will rehabilitate it. my cat who got hit by a car was also taken care by them. now my cat is happily back home. I met many families who brought their pets here. a lot of them came all the way here because only davis could provide certain cares. they are busy but very professional.

My little Min Pin Scooby & I traveled from Hawaii to receive Stereoscopic Radiation Therapy for a tumor in his sinuses & behind his left eye. The doctors, the staff, the students were absolutely incredible they were kind & loving. They were concerned not only about my little boy but about me is well. Due to emergency medical quarantine rules laid out by the state of Hawaii Scooby had to remain separated from all other animals at all times & had to remain at the hospital from the moment we arrived Nov. 27th until we left Dec. 9th. But they did walk him alone & made sure that no other animals were present at any time. They were & are total professionals. We were originally were supposed to depart on the 6th but there was an issue with the airline we were using to return home. The clinic and staff saw no problem and happily accommodated our change in travel plans. It required them to kennel him quarantine style for additional days and to update & re-sign all of his documents & issue new health certificates.They were terrific. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of care Scooby received. I only wish that I lived there for all of my "kids" to receive such loving treatment all the time. No shade to our regular vets office. We live on an island services can be limited after all. I applaud there quality care. It makes me happy to know they are training young professionals to give this kind of love & care that will be spread across the country. I cant reccomend them highly enough.

Brought my Golden Retriever here from out of town. The specialists, staff, and students were all fantastic. They really take their time during appointments and evaluate pets very thoroughly. All my many questions were answered and I didn’t feel pressured at all to commit to the surgery. I’ve taken my dog to many vets and specialists and this place is incomparably better than all of them. The prices are a little high but reasonable considering the quality of care. Also, scheduling can be tricky with how busy they are. So plan ahead, bring some extra money, and you will love the care you receive. Special thanks to Dr. Filliquist and Irina who both went above and beyond during my visit.

It's quite simply the gold standard of veterinary care. Where else can you go and have a highly trained team of staff, graduate students, faculty and senior faculty spend hours diagnosing your pet's health problem? The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is world renowned for a reason. When nothing else has worked, go here (first). We're sure glad we did and we live 100 miles distant. It's just the best.

Veterinarian Doctors take their time to listen to your concerns and look after your pets. They don't go all about taking the money out of your pocket like the most of the Veterinarian Hospital I have been in my area, whom try really hard to push costly unnecessary treatments just for get your money instead looking after your pets best option. I really satisfied with their services and it is totally worth it go all the way to Sacramento.

Having to visit any vet is not fun or cheap. That being said my animals are not pets they are family and the four-year students and Doctors are really nice and easy to talk too. I am visiting both the small clinic and Oncology department. The front desk ladies in B building are very nice and friendly. The ladies behind the the counter in A building need to work on thier people skills.

Our cat was sick so my wife and I make an appointment to go there. Another family members animal had been sick also and they had taken their dog to different places and a battery of tests were done and the results were still not conclusive. So they decided to take their dog do UC Davis and they got a diagnosis on the first visit. I went with them and the doctors and the staff was excellent. They are very caring and it shows. My experience with my cat was the same and they made us very comfortable and after tests they were able to give us a diagnosis. My cat is doing well and I will definitely utilize their services. the staff and vets thank you for being there thank you for the good work.

Horrible experience. They wanted 10,000 to do surgery on my dog. Just for a visit the charges were very high. Needless to say we left with our dog and no treatment. I would never go back.

Remember this is a teaching hospital. We had to go there it was Xmas eve. My cat had not eaten for two days and would just lay there with rapid respirations. They said his lab values were fine and there was nothing wrong. He was still walking and purring. By the time we got him home he was blind and deafness...800$ later.
